I appreciate details, and Sam made sure to hit every one. Thanks so much and I’ll be back for my next pair soon.

Knowledgeable salespeople helped me make a perfect selection in a bike. Lots of parking and building is free standing so you can test ride bikes around the building. Every imaginable accessory including clothing, shoes, gloves and a great selection of inexpensive helmets! Got a rack for the car, did it all. One stop! Cannondale, Specialized and others. I opted for an electric assist with a step through due to a recent surgery I had. Love my new bike and I will use it because its the right bike for me! Thanks to Josh for all the time you spent with me.

Highly recommend Josh Carson, Sales Mgr. at this location (avoid the other Sales Mgr. like hes the plague- more later). Josh was extremely knowledgeable, patient, pleasant, professional--cant say enough good things about him, in every aspect of our transaction--poster child for how to do it right! The other Sales Mgr. is the poster child for how not to do it--had to call in with some questions and was unfortunate to have to speak with him (Josh was off)--this man was unprofessional, rude, talked at you, cut you off, extremely poor listener...had I not liked working with Josh so much, I would not have bought my bike here--the man was that ignorant! Hands down the best service for running shoes. We have been going to Pro Bike and Run for a number of years now to purchase shoes and today we were helped by a young lady named of Claire. I guarantee that this young lady knows more about the fit of EVERY style by EVERY brand they carry in that store, better than each of the manufactures do! Im not kidding. She is TOP NOTCH!Yes, she watched him run so she could see if the brand he was currently wearing was the best fit, but she also showed him the video and explained what she was looking at and why, she explained his problem and what type of support he should look for AND she explained why some styles wouldnt work. Yes, she brought out a few choices that would work for him, but she also showed him different ways to lace the shoes to help with slippage and increase support to specific areas of his foot. Yes, she listened to him explain what he liked and didnt like about each shoe so she could find the right fit, but she also search the sale section of the store for him knowing he was purchasing the shoes himself. It was more about earning his trust and helping him find the best fit than it was about simply selling him a $130 pair of shoes. This young woman showed more patience and kindness than I have ever seen in sales ...in YEARS! Needless to say, we purchase 2 pairs! Im not sure what she is studying in college, but I do know that Hoka, Brooks, Altra, Mizuno should be paying this girl to be an influencer on social media! No doubt we will continue to buy shoes at Pro Bike and Run, but Claire...shes our go to sales person!

Don’t waste you time going to this place. I looked at bikes yesterday and found one I thought my husband would like. I got the sales mans card and told him I would call him the following day. So I called up today and asked if they still had the bike. He looked in their system and he said they still had the bike. I told him I wasn’t driving all the way up there if they didn’t have that bike. He reassured me they still had it and he will hold it until I got there. So we drove the hour drive back up to the Robinson store. When we arrived he couldn’t find the bike. He looked around and couldn’t find it. He then told me someone must of stole it. He could of cared less that I drove an hour to get to his store. I was furious. He said give me your name and number and I’ll let you know when we get another one in. I told him I would never step foot back in his store again. He didn’t even care.

I needed to fix my bike so I called the service department. When talking to them over the phone they said I could bring it in, drop it off with a turn around time roughly about a week. As I went in to drop my bike off, I spoke to a worker named Anthony. Anthony was great! As I was explaining what was wrong with my bike and what happened Anthony asked if I had a few minutes to spare as he fixed my bike. I couldnt believe he was going to fix it right then and there when I had been expecting it to take around a week! As Anthony was fixing my bike he explained what happened and what he was doing to repair it. Within 15 minutes my bike was fixed and I was leaving a happy customer! Will definitely start shopping here when I need anything for my bike from now on!

I am by far not a needy customer, but I have never experienced any running or cycling stores that go out of their way to avoid eye contact or ackowledging a fellow humans existence. Just purchased a Specialized Roubaix from them. The sales manager, Josh was attentive and willing to discuss bikes and go over my questions. It’s a large price tag for me so I appreciated his time. He was very engaged and helpful. I didn’t feel rushed at all.Josh highly recommended a 52cm although I had gone in for a 54 that I had reserved. Relying on his recommendation and I’ll see how it works. I’m hopeful they will work with me if it turns out not to be the right choice.(As a side note, i witnessed Josh’s interaction with another customer who was having trouble with a bike rack they had purchased. While I didn’t hear all the details, they were assured that they would be taken care of and they appeared to leave satisfied. It was this interaction that gave me the sense that if I was unhappy with my purchase they would address it for me as well.)Of the two people who helped from service, one was extremely attentive and expedient. While on a test ride in their parking lot, the chain got tangled on the front derailleur. Never had that happen before on any of my other bikes but the other gentleman from the service department explained it had to do with the way I shifted it. Frankly, I wasn’t satisfied with that answer but I also didn’t press it. Maybe it was my inexperience with SRAM AXS group set. This is my first time using electronic shifting.Regarding constructive input, it would be great if an experienced person from the service department would work directly with the buyer to ensure everything is adjusted optimally. Have me sit on the bike, and make adjustments to seat height, position, bar tilt, etc. I’ve had this done from other dealers upon purchase and it’s really helpful.I have another bike purchase with my wife coming up soon and we plan to work with Josh as our first stop.

Extremely arrogant over the phone and in person, never felt like they’ve wanted to help. (Service team) When you call the tone is you’re bothering them for something rather then any sort of welcoming response, hang up on you every-time without a word. Unfortunately had a poor experience here. Brought in a fat bike wheel to have a punctured tire replaced. Two major issues with it. First, I was overcharged by $30 for the tire (charged for the 4.6 in @$130 vs. the 4.0 @$100 I purchased). Secondly, got the wheel home and realized they put the tire on backward. Did get my $30 back for the up-charge. Had to bring my wheel back in to get the tire put on correctly and only refunded a portion of the labor. Did get something that felt vaguely apologetic and a yeah, those things happen. Overall not a good experience at all.

I would rate a zero but the ratings don’t go that low. I would just say RUN. Worst customer service ever!!! My husband Paul purchased a bike in June 2020. The bike broke in the beginning of October. We dropped bike off and they were going to call us with diagnosis, they never called we finally reached out to them and they stated it was the throttle and they would order the part. Weeks went by with no call from them. Called them and they stated it’s not the throttle but the controller and they were going to give him a new bike. Weeks went by again with no call. Went into store and they stated a new bike is on its way, meanwhile they had a showroom full of bikes. FINALLY in December (2 MONTHS) later they called and stated the bike had been repaired that they took a part from another bike in store which could of been done in October. They need to make this right. They offered him a bike pump. Are they serious.

I have some things to complain about, as well as things to applaud them for. One minute theyd be guiding me down the street like a father to his son, the next theyre cutting the brake cable and pushing me into traffic. In all, I purchased my bike from them, had the saddle adjusted properly, and was given a crash course on operating the gears (rookie, which is why I needed extra guidance). Id recommend the place, but dont expect to be overwhelmed with kindness/help around every corner. Running guy, even though I was there for a bike, was very friendly and offered as much assistance as he could. Chuck was helpful. Mechanic was friendly. Things may be quite different without the pandemic madness, and them being swamped. Ill return for my wifes bike, and see if they can raise it to 4 stars.

Just brought my little girl in for a bike, and wanted to purchase an ebike as well. We were passed off from one sales person to another like we were yesterday’s garbage. There’s nothing more telling about the true customer service of a business, and the level of actual belief they have in customer service, than that of a business that gives you zero customer service because they’re “busier than they’ve ever been.” We were reminded a few times about how kids bike sales are currently up 350%. Good for you - because your lack of service will result in two less bikes (and shoes, maintenance, etc.) being purchased from your store.

Review №60

I see people complaining about the staff/customer service and, while I agree that the staff isnt traditionally welcoming, I really have no problem with that at a store like this. I actually think its par for the course, as far as bike stores go. However, I can understand a customer wanting to be accommodated when he/she is putting down as much money as some of these bikes go for. That said, if youre in the market for a worthwhile bike, and you appreciate the notion of supporting a local bike shop, which I do, then your best bet is to go to a store with both expertise and selection, and this store has both.As an example of their expertise, and its been a number of years for me, but I would see the Pro Bike race team crushing it at the mountain bike races I used to participate in. I mean, they had a great team (may still for all I know). As far as an example of selection, just walk into a store or check out their website. Lots of bikes.Personally, Ive bought five bikes, for me and my family, from Pro Bikes since 2006. Two of those times, I knew exactly what I wanted and they had it. The other three times, I only had a general idea and needed advice. Every time, the people I dealt with were very knowledgeable. I havent regretted a single purchase. What does keep me going to other bike stores is the inconsistency in their price. Sometimes, theyre willing to negotiate a bit on price, other times they scoff. My most recent purchase (June 2018), was a model year old and on sale, and not prohibitively expensive to begin with, so I didnt even try. But then, they didnt offer me the accessory discount that I was expecting and had been offered on my previous purchases. You either negotiate price or you dont. You either offer a discount on accessories after purchasing a bike or you dont. Be consistent and transparent. I dont want my final bill to be a matter of chance with who I deal with on a given day and I dont want to turn the negotiation experience into something that resembles a trip to the car dealer. Thats really my only gripe with this store.Otherwise, if you are really want to be comfortable with the bike you purchase, this is a great store.

Recently purchased 2 bikes and had a terrible experience. During the course I was told 20 times how busy they were as an excuse for bad service. Took almost a week for them to transfer the bikes from another store and when I called to get an update someone named Dan was unbelievably rude. Then when picking the bikes up there was a line to get in the store to accommodate social distancing, which I totally get. So I went up to the entrance to first ask if we needed to wait in line if picking up an online purchase that was already paid for and the female worker told me that everyone has to wait and pointed to the end of the line. So after an hour waiting in the sun and finally getting to the front of the line the same female worker asked what we needed and I again told her picking up an online purchase. She then said, you didnt need to wait in line if you already paid and proceeded to get the bikes which were literally 5 feet from the door. We ordered kickstands which were not on the bikes and had no opportunity to ask questions about the SP phone connection, included checkups, tuneups, etc. Get the bikes home and the brakes on one of the bikes needed immediate adjustment and the tires on the other bike were almost flat. Not normally a big deal but I never had a bike with Presta stems so had to figure that out and get an adapter. I certainly didnt want to call ProBikes back to ask questions based on previous attitude and rudeness. Thank goodness for Youtube. Never again Pro Bike+Run!

I had been unwittingly running in the wrong type of shoe for years, leading to multiple injuries and discomfort. Each member of the staff brings a unique blend of running background to the table and I was able to find someone with just the right experience to assist me in my noncompetitive, but fairly long distance, training regime. My wife is just beginning to run and she received an equally impressive level of service. I would recommend this store well above other brick and mortar running stores in the area, hands down. The owner of the store makes himself available to everyone and is extremely knowledgable on injury prevention and treatment.

I went in to buy new running shoes. Staff was friendly, helpful, and patient. They examined my gait to see which shoes were best for me and asked questions to ensure I got the best shoe possible.

I go here for my running shoes and I highly recommend going here. Staff is awesome and they get you what you need. May be a bit pricey for shoes but its worth it.

Never had a good experience here. Prices are crazy and the people there don’t care about you unless your spending thousands and thousands of dollars. If they do help you, they aren’t good either. My brother went in asking for road bike shoes and ended up with them telling him to get shoes that turns out are mountain bike shoes. Many more terrible experiences that I didn’t write about

Terrible service! Or should I say lack there of.Went to the Robinson store 3x now looking for new adult bikes and an unlimited budget. Not 1 time could I get someone to help me. First time was 5pm...few other customers in the store, figured it was a busy time of day and I blew it off. Second time was a mid Saturday afternoon, didn’t have much time to waist so left after no one could help me at the service counter. Third trip there was a random weekday at like 2pm and literally saw 1 other customer there in the 30-45mins I was inside. Went over looking at bikes they have at ground level...seem to have a pretty big selection but not sure what organization or brands might fit my needs....but God for bid someone could HELP you as the customer. I even went up to their register checkout area for several minutes standing there, then I hung out by their middle of the store lounge area starring at the 2 worker bee guys while one was fixing a bike and the other apparently he talk buddy.Their loss....short drive down the road got my business for several thousand $$ in bikes/gear this trip. And I have 2 sons that love biking so will be a ton more business they will loose in coming years of purchases.Maybe if you know exactly what you want and where it is in the store and how to checkout yourself you should shop here. I honestly question if someone would help you if you pushed a bike out the front door to try out in the parking lot....or would they assume you were stealing it....or would they even know!

Stopped in once so far to grab a new tire. I was surprised to see a nice bmx parts selection (including lots of complete bikes), but I was completely ignored the whole time me and my brother were there. I almost left with NO tires, but happened to find some 2.4 shadows on my own. Asked the mechanic about stickers, (because who doesnt like buying a couple new stickers as well?), I asked if they had any other bmx stickers and asked if I could see the few in the display case, and was literally ignored! Okkkkk, bought my tire and left. Weird attitudes haha 🤪

Friendly & knowledgeable staff, top notch mechanics. I was overwhelmed with their selection of bicycles and accessories, and they repaired my bicycle the same day as I waited. A++++

I am relatively new to running and cant believe the amount of free classes/seminars Elite offers. I have learned a TON about running. Before I went in, I thought, what is there to know about running? You put 1 foot in front of the other! Boy was I wrong. Every seminar I go to I feel like a safer runner. The people are all friendly and seem pretty knowledgeable. They always host all different kinds of races which I have been sucked into and LOVE it!
