My craigslist roadbike needed a decent amount of work done before my race next week. Scott was able to get it done for a great price and in less time than he originally thought! Im so happy with it and Ill definitely be going back and sending my friends whenever we need bike help!

Actually terrible. If you know exactly what you need, and dont have the tools thats ok and why I gave 2 stars. But if you go there to buy the $40 package or something forget it. My bike is running like 40% slower just one week later.Edit: so I took him up on his offer and went back. At first he found nothing wrong. Then slowly he found 3-4 small things that individually would have been nothing, but together they might have been bigger. After biking for 2 days I did notice a pretty good difference. Its not back to completely what it was, but overall Im happy. But because I did have a problem cant give it 5 stars. Good recovery though.

I have seen the sign out front many times while riding Melwood towards Polish Hill. Today I was in Shadyside and popped a spoke. I called and Scott said head over. He got me up and running again in no time! I found out more information on service costs (which are very reasonable!) for the future. Check him out and support a great local small business!

The best place to get your bike fixed, hands down. Scotty took in my beloved 199-something Giant Upland, called me to explain the repairs he could do in language, I, a non-mechanic, could understand, and dropped it off to me the next day. It rode better than ever. He is insanely knowledgeable about bikes and a joy to work with. Highly recommend.

I took my $149 wal mart bike to Scott. At first It was just needed a look over I did not trust the way it was built at the store. After talking to him about ideas of what I wanted to do to it he helped answer any questions I had with it we went ahead. Starting the upgrades to the way I wanted it. Very quick, honest, knowledgeable bike repair. Ignore the hours posted on here and call Scott to set up an appointment. I got my bike almost completely overhauled for ~$150 cheaper (~35%) then other bike shops around town.

All-around great experience. Scott managed communication smoothly via text message, explained the services needed, and the repairs were managed in a timely manner at very reasonable pricing. Oh, and he treated the job -- which was on my daughters kids bike, complete with tassels on the handle bars -- with as much attention to detail and seriousness as if it was a performance mountain bike. Really appreciated his work! Will be going back!

Scott helped me get back on the road! He did a thoughtful, affordable tune up and made suggestions at every point that would elevate my riding experience but stay within my budget. I was having difficulty braking due to cheap wheels and he found suitable replacements, as well as bumping up my cassette to have more gears/range while he was at it. I have had several great experiences at this shop. Scott is approachable and patient, and offers thoughtful suggestions about how to improve my bike without any pressure to buy stuff or upgrade. He spent a long time fixing my old, bent bike wheel so I didnt have to buy a new one. The work is always done faster than I expect, and prices are totally affordable. The owner is very knowledgeable about his craft. He is set up in the basement of what looks to be an old warehouse but dont let looks fool you... Scott has all the tools necessary to give the most disfunctional bikes the tender loving care they need to get back on the road. I have been to the workshop a few times and have never left unsatisfied.
