Fantastic group of mechanics. Winston is gruff but he gets the work done for a great price. He does quality work, and is very knowledgeable. He also knows how to work on carbureted cars, which is becoming a rarity today. If you can, request to have Winston do the job directly, although Im sure his workers do a great job to. Absolutely excellent, highly recommended.

Winston has been more than fair with me over the 20+ years of servicing my vehicle. It is awesome having an auto shop that I trust. I had asked them to do a number of repairs and maintenance work on my vehicle, including changing out the plugs. He called me and told me when his guy pulled the plugs they had significant life left on them and I didnt really need to get them changed. What shop does that???

One of the few auto shops that has never tried to sell me a service that wasnt necessary or inflate their invoices. and I think theyve always completed the work within 24 hours, unless they needed a part that they had to order.

This is the best mechanic shop to take your old muscle/vintage car to in the state of Texas. I have a 79 Lincoln Continental Mark V, and after taking it to them, the car runs like a NEW car. There are so many incompetent mechanics, that are there to rip you off, but these guys not only do the best job, reasonable prices and with such pride that you feel great as a customer. Ask for Mr. McCollum, he is awesome! Highly recommended!

If you are looking for an honest affordable mechanic you have come to the right place! Not only are they affordable, but they do great work, and do it quickly. They were able to trouble shoot the noise in my car (axle), replace rotors and brakes, and do an oil change all in the same day. I contacted Enterprise to pick me up at their shop and was on my way to work before 8am. I am SO thankful that I found McCollums Auto Center. You will not be disappointed!

This is the only shop I trust with my cars. Their prices are very fare, they explain what is needed and fix it promptly. I have been taking my cars here since 2010. I even had the whole engine replaced after I ran it without oil a year and a half ago. There was an issue with the check engine light after that time that they fixed for free. They have done a few other odds and ends to each of my 3 cars. I dont feel like they treat me like an idiot just because I am a woman. I have found that to be rare in this industry. They even come to the shop to secure the cars if you leave them there during non-business times. I recommend this place any chance I get. Finally a reliable, honest, and reasonably priced mechanic.

Let me count the ways I love this place. I was in a rapidly overheating car and this shop popped up close to my location. They were willing to let me bring it in just before close. They called the next morning and had my car ready for way less than I expected. They could have easily told me I needed a head gasket and Id have believed them. These are honest, fair, and experienced people. The next time I went I had some smoke coming from my hood on my way home after picking the car up and thankfully it was just burn off that is common with the repair they performed. BUT they made a trip to my apartment to make sure my car was okay to drive. Seriously, if you need a mechanic, these are the people.

My parents used to take their cars to Mr. McCollum as far back as the 80s, and he was always extremely honest and took very good care of them. Ive been taking my vehicles to Mr. McCollums son at the same location now since 1997. He is as honest and fair of a mechanic as you will find anywhere, provides fair prices, and stands behind his work.

The most honest shop youll ever find. Will not fix anything that doesnt need to be and does the best work Ive ever encountered. Definitely recommend

5 Stars is about 95 too few! I have been going to McCollums for nearly 20 years now. When the dealer tells me my car needs something done to it, I laugh at their estimate and then the vehicle to Winston and his gang. He is a great guy running a great business that does excellent work at an excellent price. I cannot say enough good things about McCollums!

I was on my way through the area and had my alternator go out. A local pointed me in the direction of McCollums who promptly helped me get my van running and on my way. Good honest people who do the job right.
