The new Manager Matt is very unprofessional and rude. Like they got him off the street idk why they hired him. He treats his staff horribly abusing his authority as if he really knows what he’s doing. He needs to be fired asap
Ordered gooseneck hitch installation over a month ago, delay was due to parts needing to be ordered and delays with covid. I arrive last week to my appointment and am told the parts are not in so they cannot do the installation. There was no email or phone call etc and my husband missed an important meeting to be there to drive me home after dropping the truck off. The rescheduled date was for today and surprise there aren’t parts still which I found out after sitting on good for over 15 minutes. They did tell me I could drive 30+ miles away to pick up parts from a different uhaul to which I asked if they would like to pay me for doing their work but I don’t just have the free time to do their work for them. I’m starting to think I’ll never get my hitch installed and am beginning to be worried as horse show season is real soon.
Me and my sister had bought 24hr access. Tonight on 06/01/21 11:34 pm me, my sister, two of her friends, my cousin her new born and 2 year old got locked in. Our 24 code did not work at all three the night no one would answer there phones as if we did not call. It took us 20-30 mins after we unloaded a full truck load still have to go get my sister kid. Not happen with my actions but I just came from working all day to help and was a witness to my sister paying for the 24 but now I think she deserves a refund.

We moved from Dayton, NV to Plano, TX and him being one of the first people we encountered in Texas helped us realize we made the right decision. I rented a 1 way uhaul, and I was charged for 2 because THEY made the mistake of giving us the wrong uhaul. This was after they THOUGHT it was a computer error. They tell me that the 2nd charge won’t get posted, and that I’ll have my money back within 3-5 days. Well I was charged over $900 for a mistake on their end, and still have not received my money back. I shouldn’t have to go to the bank and dispute a charge because of the mistake of a company. Just NEVER use uhaul people.

Im sorry, but Im joining the voices here that warn against this place...Ive been charged for U-Haul services from Plano that I never signed up for and this has been going on for months (over $150 dollars each time)..Ive never even had a storage unit nor have I ever rented a truck at this location. My situation was supposed to be a one time simple U-Box move that was paid upfront...Just beware their systems can and will charge you after the fact and its nearly impossible to get anyone on the phone, so youll have to go through a process to just get answers and dispute or attempt to permanently resolve (in my case its a monthly ordeal)...

These people are the best. They had installed a light kit for towing on my car and did a great job at a great price. I have been back to this location several times and the customer service is always superb.
I will never come to this location again. I rented a uhaul on Saturday and I returned it the same day but after hours. I filled tank back up and made sure truck was clean just like I always have done in the past when I rent a uhaul. Sunday morning they sent me my final receipt for $70 and some change and on the bill it said final statement and under damages section it had none. Then Monday afternoon Someone from this location went in and stole $455 out of my account and sent me a new final statement saying I messed up the bumper on truck. I called and ask for pictures because I know and god knows in heaven I did not damage anything on the truck while it was in my possession, they could not give me pictures smh. So I filed a dispute with uhaul and I was waiting for them to follow up with me with pictures. They never followed up. So I called my bank and they got my money back for me. The ppl in this office needs to learn you don’t do to ppl what you don’t want done to you. God see everything.
I have used this location for years and have never had any issues. The customer service is excellent. I would recommend this location anytime.
The prices seem great: 19.95 is what they advertise plus miles (99c per mile) on the weekend plus gas. The fact that they are not linient on some rules affect the customer experience. They staff is friendly and the location very clean and they are open on Sunday (amazing). Ashley was very helpful and what it seemed to be a bad experience at the beginning she turned it around with the resolution.
I struggle to even give one star. I am a college student who is moving apartments, but my car is too small to fit a mattress so i called ahead of time to ask if they had the parts to attach a trailer to my car. The lady on the phone said they did and scheduled an appointment. When I got there, they did not have the parts. I went to 3 different locations and the same thing happened. THREE TIMES. I am frustrated and furious. They claim to make moving easier and they failed tremendously. Worst experience. I will never go back and never recommend. Just pay more and rent a pickup or something somewhere else.
Be careful with this company. I was dragged around, lied to, cheated and ultimately had several unauthorized charges onto my debit card. This company took my car payment money, unjustly, and denied the charges when I called them. They wouldnt provide me a refund or even any proof for the charge. Consequently, I was forced to reverse the charge through my bank. I write this review to protect others from the same misrepresentations that I experienced. The representative at this particular location informed me the one way charge was $48.01 and I have a receipt to match. they managed to charge me $60.00, then $69.00 then $166.00 before i found out. Lastly, I have hired an attorney to file suit against Uhaul as a whole, as the countless hours of calling has also cost me work hours, and write ups with my employer. The worst part is that, when i called to ask for a refund, i was told do what you have to do, we dont see a charge. and was then hung up on. My bank informed me the stop payment to them would not stop them from attempting the charges again, so i made sure they cannot, by closing down that card, and activating a new one. I wonder, what happened to customer service? either way, i have reported them to the BBB, and filed a complaint with the FTC, as well as hired legal counsel.I suppose i will be entitled to damages through litigation, though I suspect this company is likely to extend a settlement outside of court. We will see.

Most unprofessional place Ive been to. I stood for 10 minutes without being helped. Then to be helped without receiving true assistance because the iPad he was using was not functioning correctly. I walked out! Im getting my moving bins delivered to me and picked up by a small business - Elephant Trunk Moving @ a great rate and I get to keep them for 2 weeks and 6 days! 0 stars was not an option

This U-Haul was very nice to work with. They were very quick and getting my vehicle. And they did it with a smile. They were fast upon my return with the trailer that I rented and it was a very very quick process.
Rented a 20ft truck and had no issues whatsoever and the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable so glad I chose U-Haul instead of considering to go with Penske or budget rentals also better pricing than the competition

I have made 2 trips there in the last 3 weeks to buy boxes and supplies..I am disabled and both times the same lady spotted me struggling and loaded my cart, rang me up and loaded my car. Didnt get her name but she delivered great service. They could use more like her !!!

I rented a storage unit in December 2017 and upon ending my lease I was surprised to find out that the facility charged me for an extra unit without telling me or making it clear on the paperwork. The facility acknowledged the error, but said they could not refund the money. I was told to contact the manager Jordan Gibson. I have emailed him and tried to reach him multiple times without success. It has been over a month, and I have yet to have this problem resolved. If you rent from this facility make sure to check the paperwork as you may be getting overcharged.
Terrible customer service!! We did not get the truck we requested and was not properly informed. I rented a truck from this location on 3/15 and asked for one that can be dropped off in Arlington. The gentleman at this location with the platted braids and gold teeth did did not give me what I requested. Unknowingly, I dropped off the truck in Arlington after moving that night, and got a call the morning of 3/16 saying I need to being the truck back to plano or pay an additional $200. I informed the women I asked for a truck I can drop off in any location, she informed me that was not the truck I received. We had to take drive the truck from Arlington back to Plano. And was charged for an additional 42 miles. I have been waiting a week to speak with someone and I was told it would only be 72 hrs.

I called to ask about my refund for moving supplies order that I cancelled. I was on hold for 10 minutes before someone answered. The representative didnt try to help me and just transferred me to another department and had me on hold for another 10 minutes just so that a machine picked up and said they were closed. They should be more knowledgeable about things like this and not brush people off and waste their time.
This is the worst customer service experience i have ever had. First, i called on 4 different occasions to get my ubox pulled so I could empty if prior to next billing cycle. I was told someone would call me back and no one ever did. I was paying for labor to help me, but did not get the box. the following week, I finally was able to schedule a pick-up, and was told it would be ready by 8 AM. It was not even pulled when i got there. The market president had to get involved and assured me he will at least get me the $50 missed reservation credit ... that never was applied. When I had called to get the box pull scheduled, I told the rep that I did not want to pay for the next cycle due to the error the prior week when it did not get pulled. I was assured I would not be charged again ... but now I get another bill with a delinquency notice. I once again have to call and am told that the GM Jordan Gibson would call me (he is the guy who I was told would contact me on the 4 previous messages I had left), and once again, he never has called. The management of this location is incompetent to run a business and having to go through a call center all the time is aggravating since no one returns the call.
DO NOT RESERVE ANYTHING AT THIS LOCATIONAs advised by Uhaul, I reserved and pre-paid for Ready To Go Boxes and purchased packing material online 2 weeks in advance. I arrived to pick up it all up on the day I reserved. They did not have the plastic moving boxes or the packing material I purchased (gave me foam sheets instead of a roll of foam). The employees were nice, but very confused as we watched 6 customers come and go all with problems they struggled to solve. The general manager was involved in our situation but did not look at us or offer any information. He talked to the 2nd employee we were routed to and never acknowledged us. He never offered an explanation or an apology. Our moving day is ruined once again by Uhaul. We elected to not rent a Uhaul truck as the last time, we arrived and there was no truck that we had reserved and we were told to go 35 miles to another location. Never again Uhaul. North Texas has too many options.
The team on duty last night let me rent a trailer at the last minute. I was able to pick up a bunch of free office furniture someone donated to me late in the afternoon. Very much appreciated, guys.
Clean place. Good trucks. Helpful staff. Storage space a bit smaller than expected.
They literally gave our truck away while we were standing in line. Reserved it a week earlier. Had to drive 10 miles away to get a dirty filthy truck from behind the gas station. Truck was unsafe the brakes worn out and trash all in the cab of the truck. Cost us an extra $40 on mileage in an hour and a half of our time and got crappy truck. The people at this location never said sorry one time. Good luck dealing with U-Haul....
These guys gave me a trailer with a broken axle, tire rubbing in the wheel well started smoking after I put furniture in it, spent 30mins waiting through all the computer aided bullschitt, just for them to send someone to evaluate the trailer. Of course that guy is an hour away, and even though the place I got it from is just 5 miles away they refuse to being me another trailer. The best part is a storm is moving in with hail and now the furniture in the trailer is going to get wet, pulverized along with my truck. I should have been home already. Phuck uhaul. If Id known Their incompetence was so bad id never rented from them in the first place. NEVER AGAIN.

The one star review is for all uhaul locations in this area. It’s impossible to contact any of them unless you go in person. Nobody at the office ever picks up the call so all calls get transferred to the call center who can’t do anything but send a message that will never be returned. For how techy the uhaul reservation system is, their contact system is seriously flawed. I just need a hitch installed and I can’t even count how many trips or calls have been wasted in the process.
Lost a 300.00 pair of glasses there. Left them in the truck and there wasnt another person renting it when I called to get them back. The lady that answered the phone was incredibly inconvenienced when I asked her to look, and I am almost positive that she didnt even search the truck despite my begging her. I will never NEVER rent another uhaul from this location again.

Sign in was super slow and there was an unnecessarily long process to get the car, couldn’t inspect the car because it was parked to tightly. The customer service rep they were very unresponsive and lied to us about the cost. She told us that the price would be 42 but didnt say anything about a fuel cost. The fuel cost us an extra $16 for less than an eighth of the tank. Very unhappy
Cant get anything done at this place. Is a small location dont understand why the cant keep up on whats on inventory for u box trailers. Which I haul for them and their customers. Waited for days for ashley to call me after attemping to ensure a 2 u box trailer to better serve my and their u box client. Thanks to their weak service costumer was completly mad and cancelled service then Ashley blamed us when she cant even return a damn call for hours at least to say yes I have a big trailer. Im making u money dont try to hold me down like that. All u have to do is tap the keyboard how hard that is baby Ill do the lifting with a smile. If u cant keep up or like the job welcome to quit.

I just tried to rent a trailer this evening and was reminded why I dont like going into this location.Previous posts nailed it when they said it seems like unhappy, rude, people work there, who act like theyre doing you a favor.Went in 5 minutes before closing time after calling 30 minutes prior to make sure that it would be ok to come in that close to closing. When I arrived to rent a trailer, everyone acted like I was putting them out. The 27 year old manager (at least thats what he said he was) who has 0 people skills, starts developing an attitude, to which I asked is there a problem. He responds by saying that they are officially closed and he starts giving me this smug attitude like he is doing me a favor.After a few words back and forth, I just decided to walk out. There is no way I was going to give someone like that my business.I know Im just wasting my breath, but this is just another reason why this Uhaul location scores a 2.4. If people were allowed to vote0, the score would be even lower than that.

Terrible customer service. I made an online reservation, which included a $50 guarantee that the equipment was on location and available, only to receive a phone call saying I had to drive elsewhere and the guarantee did not apply. Why issue a guarantee if theyre not going to uphold it? It didnt help that the customer service rep was short and not helpful. Very bad experience.
They set up reservation quick and had my truck ready when I arrived there.
Poor, not fair. I had terrible dealings with these people. We rented a small trailer and pulled off the lot onto the street and the spring under the trailer broke. They charged my credit card for a huge sum, before I could walk back to the storefront, saying that I was responsible. I only went 100 feet, on a well maintained street. The part was all rusty and bent up, and it was obvious that it had been very badly damaged before I ever showed up at U-Haul. We fought with the location and they would not cooperate, so we went to BBB and corporate and they sent my money back. Do not go here. The Uhaul at Central Expressway and Arapaho is now our favorite place to rent from.

The store manager needs to teach his employees to be professional not rude who would want to give someone business when the employees are rude this young mans name i charels there are only three polite employees the assistant manager, young man named ivan and a man named paul. Consistently terrible.My first experience with this location was in 2008, when gas first made it up to $4/gallon. I had a short, in-town move - less than two miles from the U-Haul store, to the old apartment, to the new one, and back to turn in the truck. But they misrepresented the amount of fuel in the truck, and I was not allowed access to the truck until after everything was signed, I did not notice until it was too late, and wound up having to add $16 of gas that I could not afford at the time, for a two mile move.Ive had a U-Box with this location since October 2012. U-Haul recommends calling 24 hours in advance whenever you need access to your U-Box, which I always do, however on multiple occasions, after calling a day in advance, I have had to wait as long as an hour for my U-Box to be lowered where I could access it.To make matters worse, even though my account is paid automatically through the U-Haul site, on more than one occasion I have received late payment notices and been charged a late fee, that I had to contact customer service to have removed. Most recently, in addition to the questionable (read: fraudulent) late fee, I was double-charged for this months rent.
I have been waiting for over one hour for a call back, now it will be too late to drive 70 miles to purchase the product I need today. Very poor customer service.
Worst truck rental experience ever. I rented the truck for one day but did not finish moving my 4,000 sqft warehouse in time so I extended the rental for another day. After being guilt tripped for extending the rental for another 24 hours because there was already another reservation for the truck, I was told to have it back by 8am Sunday morning. They dont open until 9am on Sundays but I brought it back anyway 10 minutes before 8am that Sunday morning. I got a call Monday afternoon from uhaul informing me that the truck was due. After discussing with a representative and being put on hold, someone finally found the truck and key. How does a person not see a 26 truck in the parking lot of their own business. There are also gps systems on the trucks so theres that. They insisted on charging me for a third day but I had them remove the charge and they said they would review the cameras to verify I brought the truck back when I said I did. Today I woke up with the third day charge plus an extra day of insurance and fees charged to my account for $112! They clearly did not review the cameras otherwise they would have seen that I dropped the truck off before business hours the day it was due. It seems that an appropriate review would have been done by a third party who has no bias in the matter. Of course the first party is going to rule in their favor! I will never rent from Uhaul again!
Was there two weeks ago my sister had reserved a tow dolly for my dad and I to pick the behind the counter says turn your fhashers on your truck he had hooked up the dolly and your fhashers are not working I told him yes they are working he was such a moreon that is manager came out and had a tester and said there working I told him I know the guy behind the counter had went back inside hi manager made him look bad moreon.
