After getting told by a location in Richardson that plano had an available storage unit, I was REFUSED this storage unit because it required a free month due to me renting a uhaul truck and was a larger unit. I was I could only rent a 10x10 unit with my free month. After reading up online and talking to a friend, I quickly realized this was NOT the case. I ended up reserving a bigger unit at the Los Rios location ( amazing customer service there, highly recommend). VERY poor business ethics at this 75 and spring creek location... only out for their own $, customer service comes last. I will forever be a detractor here.

Completely different experience here than the east Plano location - got into to truck right at my reservation time, guy was super friendly (I want to add that it was pouring today when I returned my truck and this guy was soaked checking me in and he didnt even skip a beat) - Ive used this location multiple times in the past when my companys retail location was right next door and was always pleased - great to see that the customer service is still at the same level years later. Ill definitely be coming back to this location.

Please do not rent any vehicle from here. I picked up a van and found pets hair everywhere and not cleaned. When I ran the location, I was told they just had one person doing the job and there was no one to clean. Mr Gurr - was very rude and said I should not be renting I am so concerned about pandemic. He need some real customer service and health and safety training. Worst customer experience ever with U-haul. Other branches are much better near by. Will never get anything from this location. I made my reservation for a 26ft truck here because of the ratings but they didnt have any and changed my location. Got screwed by the other branch, thats another story/rating. This location was pretty great, from purchasing the boxes, to returning the extras. Great service from this location.

Worst service. Hired a rental truck. The driver and passenger section was not clean. Found dirty hairs and pet hairs and full of dust. When asked to clean, they said if we are so concerned not to rent from them. Very rude. And the manager Leigh is absolutely waste and useless, not fit to be a manager nor know how to treat customers correctly. Please do not rent from them.

Needed to rent a truck and a storage unit at the beginning of all the pandemic shut downs to put my entire office in storage. This Uhaul was fantastic to work with. The owner Scott let me know up front that if I couldnt fit everything into the 10 X 8, they could easily move me into something bigger. When I came back with the truck to unload, it was very clear that everything wasnt going to fit. The employee at the front drove me around to look at the different sizes available to allow me to visually see it and determine the size I needed. They have all been really polite and helpful. I only needed a unit for a month until I moved into a new office, but if I ever need storage options in the future this is where I will go.

Amazing experience. We came from Maryland and discovered that the 26 truck we had full of our belongings had to be dropped off elsewhere. We were exhausted and driving such a big truck had been challenging. They ended up accepting the truck there, which was such a blessing to us.We were hot and thirsty during the unloading of our truck so checked to see if they sold cold drinks. They didnt but the owner offered cold bottles of water out of their own fridge and would even let me pay for them.Their employee (Brianna) and the owners Scott and Michelle were so friendly and helpful. The restrooms were very clean.The perfect end to a long and exhausting journey.

Very friendly staff I met a young man who was very friendly helped remove boxes from my car helped me to take them inside . I felt he went over and beyond his normal duties to lend a helping hand. My truck was clean, and the new in and out process was great. I expected a long process but I loved it. I would recommend anyone to this Uhaul location.

U-Haul has the best priced boxes, way better than Amazon, Home Depot, etc. The staff has been so kind, helpful, and had a great attitude the past two times I have been in. They really went above and beyond to help me, load my car, and make sure I was set with what I needed. I have encountered a lot of cranky people during COVID and it was so nice to have such a great interaction here.

Very slow service. Granted I just needed some boxes but was behind a truck and a unit rental for 20 minutes. It would be nice if they had a self-checkout or two service reps. In the end I got what I wanted but it took longer than expected.

I rented a van from here to transport an item from a nearby store to my home. The process was mostly fine, except for the office staff. I felt they were less than friendly at the time. This was several years ago though, so perhaps its better now. I hauled ass to get the van to the store, to my house, and back with gas back in it in time, and I only had to pay for the hour quoted.

We had just traveled 2000 miles and they were more than accommodating. Very friendly staff, easy to work with and were quick to offer us water in the Texas summer! Glad we chose them for storage. :)

Horrible experience. Make sure you document everything prior to renting. A $46 quote quickly turned into $294 for me. Take photos of every inch of the vehicle if you decide to rent here. I’d suggest paying movers, will likely be the same price by the end. They will find anything to charge you and there’s nothing you can do to protect yourself from paying the charges.Management and customer service is also no help at all.

I dont know how long Stacy and his crew have owned this particular location but they are doing a great job! Stacy is a class act. If youre close to Plano or Allen, definitely rent from these guys.

Had planned on renting out one of the office spaces here,but was told it had already been rented when I came back to pay. Not sure what happened but the manager Scott really let me down on this one. As a small business owner affordable office space is hard to find, I found this one ok n accident. When I found it in early April with a need to start renting on May 1st I thought I was all set. Scott assured me that the April 26th date that it would all be painted and ready for me to move in. He took all of my info and wrote down on the spreadsheet that I would be renting it and said he would call if he needed anything. I showed up on April 23rd to pay and was told that there are no offices available. After speaking with the lady at the front for a moment I asked her to get Scott the manager. He came out of back and said with a straight face I dont remember any of that. The office has been rented. Sorry. I dont reccomend anyone dealing with this guy. This has set me back after making arrangements for two weeks and now have to..... Frustrating at the least.

I was waiting to pick up 2 U-Haul trucks and Sarah working the front counter was completely and utterly rude to a customer in front of me. Then when it was time to take of me her demeanor and attitude did not change, she still was rude. Her customer service skills are nowhere to be found.

Had issues before with this location one time years ago but decided Id give it another shot. I really shouldnt have done that! This time I had a reservation for a 1 day truck rental well in advance of a month, but since I didnt show up right at opening I got a call at 8am asking if I still wanted the truck. I called back just as instructed to confirm I did, yet they still gave my 1-day rental away and only offered an option to get one for a couple hours.

I never review places like this but this one needs to be ripped.I checked out of a storage unit and was called two days later saying I owed on a unit that was vacated days before the deadline.I rented a truck at a rate of about $20 but ended up being charged over $100.The employee in charge of setting up the trailer was on his first day and had no assistance from a supervisor. It took well over 2 hours to finally get a trailer mounted.Terrible experience. Go some place else for your storage.

If I could I would press NO STARS! I reserved a 5x8 cargo trailer from this location. I needed it because we were cleaning out my grandmothers home in Plano. They called me the day before to tell me that the trailer instead of being able to be picked up before 9am would now not be available till 10:15am. The day of pick up I called to verify that everything was ok and they said that they were still hoping that the trailer would be back at their location by 9:45am. When we arrived at the location at 10:15am there were no staff members in the office. My husband and I waiting around for 5 minutes and then he had to go outside and walk around to find a staff member. The staff told me that no they had no trailer for us. Why would such a huge company and location only stock one 5x8 trailer is beyond me but whatever. The staff member got on the phone with someone and then passed the phone to me to talk to this other person. The uhaul employee on the phone told me they had a trailer at another location if I didnt mind driving there. Since I was on a time crunch I chose to cancel the whole thing and opt to take my aunts advice which was to try to fit as much as I could into her trailer.THEY DIDNT EVEN TRY TO OFFER ANOTHER SIZE TRAILER AT THIS LOCATION. IT WAS DRIVE TO THE OTHER LOCATION OR YOU GET NOTHING! I AM NOT FROM PLANO OR DALLAS! WE DROVE 4 HOURS WITH SET PLANS ON PICKING UP A SIMPLE TRAILER! THANK YOU N. CENTRAL EXPY LOCATION FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

Have rented from this location numerous times. Needed a trailer. Called, reserved the trailer and received a confirmation #. Arrived at UHaul office and the manager, Stacy Sheppard, had rented it to a walk in customer. The lady was very apologetic and called numerous North Texas U Haul offices, to no avail. We had already paid for firewood, hence the need for the trailer. Perhaps Stacy can help pay our heating bill!!! Will not return to this location EVER! No star would be perfect, but that is not an option. Janice Margheim.

Very organized and well run team!!

Customer service was okay. Environment was clean and well maintained. But after use and return, I took a piture of the fuel gauge, time, and mileage to ensure I was charged the correct amount. Upon receiving my email from uhaul, I learned they charged me for an extra mile and 1/8 of a tank of fuel. I also understand its only $3.59+tax extra on the bill, but if they do that to 10 customers that is $35.90 a day they have stolen from customers. I wish google allowed pictures in rating a company, so I could show proof here.

Great customer service

We showed up to pick up a reserved truck, and the only person at the front desk walked off for 20 minutes to show some other people a storage unit. When he came back, he spent the next 10 minutes talking to the person about every single step to rent a unit, and didnt bother acknowledging us to get us our truck. We couldve been out of here in less than 10 minutes otherwise, but we spent over 30 minutes waiting.
