I have been a customer @ the Pooler, GA location for over 14 years. during this time I have seen many managers come & go, mostly in the last 5 years. Needless to say, stability in management is paramount to a companys success. I never knew how important a storage facility could really become until I was deployed in the military, and had to leave all my belongings behind in the care of a brother who then passed away. It was clearly difficult, and so many of the memories I had with my brother were tucked away in a storage unit thousands of miles from where I was. Dave REALLY helped me feel like someone cared, and he went the extra mile every single time i spoke to him to simply be kind, and good. I cant say enough how great this place is. When a storage unit is a pretty generic thing across the board, why not choose the facility that works to be the best?

I recently relocated to the area, and I was looking for places to store my belongings during an expected renovation of my new home. After making calls to a few other companies, I was not impressed with information I was being provided, so I called this company in Pooler. I spoke to a representative named David who actually took the time to answer my questions over the phone and then invited me to come meet with him for a personalized evaluation. I went to the office after hanging up and met with him and he gave me a tour of the grounds and an empty unit he felt would be the right size for me. He provided multiple options and competitive rates, but more than anything put me at ease about trusting my property in the hands of others.Although many of these storage facilities are similar, I was very impressed with the time the rep took with me, it was obvious he cared about my needs and concerns and wasnt just out to make a saleMy renovation project was put on hold so I have not rented yet, but there is no doubt I would utilize this company when the time comes. The customer service I received was exceptional. Thank You!

Being military its hard enough-So with a last minute deployment- I was going nuts I was searching for storage and low and behold the voice of my savior said, we have climate controlled storage units available. I came in right away and checked the units out- they were clean the facility was nice and cool. I couldnt be happier to get this facility at a moments notice. Fred and Dave are the epitome of Southern comfort- Thank you guys ever so much.

Great location for a great price

I saw a great deal on their website and signed up. It was a 1st months rent free online special and what that really meant was $20 administration fee. He swiped my card before I knew what he was doing with it. I gave it to him thinking I was setting up the auto draft. He then asked if I had a special cylinder lock they need. I had my own lock and as he explained that it might not work. They need cylinder locks (like the ones they have for sale) The locks basically give them control of entry into the unit dependant on your payment/non-payment. *jeez* The office phone was ringing off the hook with impatient people. I actually heard a lady screaming at him, he offered to call her back but she wouldnt let him off the phone. The employee was patient with both myself and the callers.When I got to my unit, I tried my lock and it fit fine AFTER the employee brought out an attachment (to which I cant describe, but it sufficed both our interests). The unit itself was very clean. Ive been 3 or 4 times during the weekdays to drop off items and theres is normally customers there as well. The gate code boxes have worked, but the screen are all broken. Ive never been able to read them due to shattered screens. Luckily, its just a pin-code type.Also, you have to carry insurance. It is required. They have insurance (conveniently enough) or its a $2 monthly charge to provide your own insurance. My renters insurance covers storage units which helped in my situation. I wasnt thrilled to say the least, although it isnt a bad place. You get what you pay for, right?

Would leave 0 stars if possible. Their gate was wide open for 4 straight months, and their only explanation was to blame the gate company. Now the gate closes, but no longer requires a code to leave, meaning anybody could just hop the fence, Hotwire any vehicle there, then drive right out with nothing but the plates of the stolen vehicle on camera, which the owner would already have. Management did not care whatsoever. I asked for a discounted price since their security measures were lessened from when I signed my contract there, but their response was “your stuff wasn’t stolen, so our security measures worked.” They rely on an occasional police drive by and blind luck to keep your property safe. Absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional.

Theres this really funny guy there. I think his name was Dave! He was great. He walked us to our unit showed us how to use the gate and pin.

The call center has no idea how their various facilities work. I was told multiple times that I had to provide my own lock and that we would just have to remove the green indicator tab. Even the guy I spoke with this evening, when my boyfriend stopped by to check the unit, said the same thing. I am in PA for medical reasons and my boyfriend was supposed to move my furniture into my storage unit tomorrow, but now he cant. Because they gave me bad information. I am beyond frustrated with the level of service from the call center. Learn your products. All I can say is I hope the local management is better.

BEWARE JUST GOT ROBBED. SECURITY CAMERAS HAVENT WORKED FOR 3 months was told by the cops and employees! Poor service . THE SECURITY GATE CODE DIDNT WORK OR THE ONE FOR TEMP CONTROLLED STORAGE. Anyone can log in with emergency code .The last one wasnt changed for months . I would never recommend this to any of my military,gulfstream, & college friends of mine .i lost practically my whole apartment and family pictures.Havent been there but 3 Weeks and The Employees saw me move my stuff so be cautious of them as well as other people coming in and out. Numerous Units Robbed but they wont tell other people renting but not all units .Why just rob a few ?but no other section got robbed only my temp controlled .

Company unit was broken into. The facility security system was outsmarted by thieves jumping a fence and cutting open the back of our unit (cameras only watch the fronts of units for some reason). SecureCare has not taken any responsibility for issue.
