From the initial estimate & measurements to the final installation, everything went very smoothly and professionally. Dustin and Jason were great to deal with - were very responsive and knowledgeable in all areas. The 3 man crew who showed up promptly at 7:00 AM as scheduled were hard working and were clearly experienced in hanging Accordion Shutters which we had installed around the entire house, including the lanai area which posed a challenge due to awnings that where very near the Shutter top hardware. The sales and installation people figured out how to deal with the issue and was a major (besides a competitive price & good recommendations) reason for me choosing Forcefield Hurricane Protection. Your and storm shutter installer for 32 years I went in there looking for products and boy did they have it they were quite a backlog because they were that busy thats a good sign of a respectable company theyve now to move their shop right around the corner from me on Route 41 in Port Charlotte they actually were very quite friendly on selling me products that I can install myself a lot of companies dont really like doing that but they were that busy I guess they didnt mind and they went out of their way with the fabric product to explain exactly how that should be installed and I have installed them quite many in the past but theres always a right way to learn how to do everything thats why you let people like that take the lead and install it correctly professionally I do highly recommend the company they seem to run quite a nice place

My old clamshell blew off in a wind storm so called Forcefield to get a quote on 5 windows...quote was very reasonable and timeframe seemed good. They beat the timeframe easily and the shutters were installed and look fantastic. They did a great job and i would highly recommend them.

I called after a hurricane to get shutters unlocked (since I did not receive a key when I purchased my home), and someone came out and unlocked all of them at no charge. She said Id get a duplicate key later, but the convenience of calling and having someone come out and do that service without hassle or charge, thats a wonderful thing.

Todd Matasek was just over an hour late for our scheduled meeting at 9:00. I had to wait several weeks for this meeting, after stopping into the office to schedule. He informed me that it would take at least two weeks for him to get back to me with a quote, because they were very busy and he would get back to me when they could. Informed me that hurricane sliders would be $4-5000 apiece. That is a huge range! Mostly this is one of the highest quotes of all. Did not bring a window to look at when he came out and told me that I would have to go into the office to look at the window. Why did they not tell me that when I stopped in to book the appointment weeks before?He seemed uninterested in doing the work and left without providing me with any detail. Contacted the office regarding the poor service and someone was supposed to call back. My guess that no one will call, nor that I will ever get my quote.The very worst service. Go ANYWHERE but here. I understand that

They have a very good window line and are meticulous with installation. Ours were replacement windows. They did storm shutters for us years ago and are still very happy with Harris the owner and his staff....

I was disappointed in the lack of professionalism with the installation of my accordion shutters but they sent a representative out and vowed to correct the issues. I have my fingers crossed....
