Whoever was there tonight, 10/21/21 around 5ish should NOT be in customer service at all. Her behavior tonight was absolutely uncalled for and degrading. My husband and I came in to look at fragrances, he’s really big on colognes. she came from nowhere and yelled across the store “can I help y’all find anything?” And before I could turn and respond to her she was swinging and waving her arms at my husband (not sure if she thought he didn’t speak English as he is Latino...) after pointing to a sign stating something about the fragrances being for display only (bare In mind this is a black and white sign in a ALL black and white themed store 🙄 and we had JUST walked in.) I will admit we should have read the sign, but it blended with the pricing signage and all other signage in the store, and again, just walked in. He’d only touched one cologne sample bottle.Long story short, this woman simply could have said “sir, please don’t pick those up.” Not yell HEY HEY and flail both her arms up and down at him like he was a dog. She made him feel absolutely horrible. We left immediately and I doubt we will ever return thanks to her.

Always good service once you get to the registers. But little service else where in store.

This JC Penney usually has what I need in. Plus, its in Prattville. I have mostly stopped in Montgomery due to my brother moving to Prattville. Very nice staff here! Reasonable prices! Keep up the good work JC Penney/Prattville!

The young lady, think Karen was her name was very helpful. Although there were no testers, she looked up several lipsticks to assist me with choosing the right shade I wanted. Received my free birthday gift/sample.

Nice products and plenty of them to choose from, but one employee is not helpful at all because any time you ask her a question she acts like its a bother and she doesnt feel like being there. I did not have a good experience with her the two times ive went and she was there, but I did go recently and did not see her so hopefully she has been replaced.

I was very unhappy and put off on my visit to Sephora located at JC Penney in Prattville, Alabama. I had to return a foundation powder by KatVonDee due to the change of formulating. You could tell the employee did not want to deal with it. I was disappointed that it had changed and only wanted as close to the same shade as possible. Her response most of the time was she did not know what to tell me, there was nothing she could do, didnt know what I wanted her to do. I finally asked if there was a comparable brand, she did bring some from 1 other collection but it was not the same coverage. My daughter finally suggested swatching my old one (which I had with me, although broken) on my wrist and then the new KatVonDees to see which was the closest. That worked and I made the exchange. Due to the way she nearly rolled her eyes out loud, her complete lack of caring, and making me feel less because I dont wear a lot of makeup, I will be quicker to use Walmart from now on.

The service here is always great! The employees really take the time to help find what is right for you!

Today there were 3 women working. One was very helpful and another was busy helping other people. This may leave you wondering about the last. When while I was waiting on a friend to shop I noticed pills just chilln on the counter. I proceeded to ask the third lady about why there was medicine just sitting on the counter. Her response was a very impolite look and even more unpleasant tone. Needless to say this lady did not need to be there.

Sure, I was greeted. But helpful? Nope. I CLEARLY did not know what I was looking for... but the girl acted annoyed if I asked questions, so I took my business to Ulta, across Cobbs Ford.
