I got a bad prescription at another optometrist and these guys have gone the extra mile to make sure I got the right rx and glasses. The doctor is amazing and the specialists on the optical center are just amazing especially in the times we find ourselves in. Highly recommend!!

I asked to get the same lenses I had before from a different Walmart. I was asked if I wanted to add the blue light filter to them. I said Okay not knowing that the glasses would have a purple tint and that I would get this annoying bright purple glare from the side of the glasses I look into. I told the lady that I wish they would have explained this to me. I paid $78.50 for each lens and was told they ask people to wear them for at least 2 weeks to get used to them. If I knew I was going to have to get used to them then I wouldnt have paid for them. I was told that no one has ever complained about it but she did tell me shes never seen them so purple on the inside and she can see if they can fix them. The doctor came over and made me feel like I was the problem and that they wont be able to fix them. So I was going to ask for them to just get rid of the blue filter until I was told that the purple color reflecting back was common sense. I guess I dont have common sense. Everyone was really nice up until I came back not happy with the blue filter. Unfortunately I left them the glasses and got a refund. Is it really common sense that blue block glasses reflect light back to your eyes from behind your glasses? I am not a complainer and Im sorry I had no idea. I would like to add that Dr. Laura Weiter did my eye exam and she is wonderful, very nice.

My husband and i have been getting our glasses and eye care here for years, they are awesome here. The dr.is very good not only explaining every thing but thourghly explaining our options.I recently this place to everyone!!

The Opticians are friendly and always wear a smile. They truly seem happy to help. They did an awesome job with my family. The prices were very competitive. Turn around was quick.The Doctor on site takes time to explain things and she doesnt rush the exam.

My experience was not so great. I went to buy glasses and I received no help in picking them out not even an acknowledgement that I was there. After ordering them I was told they would be in Nov 1st. When I went there that day they werent in. She checked the computer and there was nothing updated as to when they would be in. I was told I would receive a call when they came in. On Nov 14,the I called to see if they were in yet as I was going to get a refund and go somewhere else. I was told that yes they were in and ready to be picked up. Horrible customer service.

After having a horrible experience at the Meridian Eye doctor. I went an see Dr. Weiter. She is amazing!She acknowledged my knowledge of contacts and my eyes & auto immune issues. She was friendly and humble and informative. She got me out of soft contact lenses into something more breathable ( since I am not the best at takingy contacts out every night) and om my exam 6 months ago ( I had at Walmart Meridian vision center) She gave me a prescription that went down on power from 4.25 to 3.75 for my contacts. So my eyes improved!! I am not only happy my vision improved. She made up for the poor experience I had. It makes a difference being treated with dignity & respect.Her staff was friendly as well. I feel very welcome and I will be sending refferal. I also want to Thank Travis from Walmart corporate for doing the right thing and hearing me out with my experience at the Meridian vision center. I appreciate you caring about my concerns.THANK YOU!

Dr. Laura G Weiter is an Optometry Specialist(professional, friendly, and knows her job very well) is absolutely the best. As an active duty military family (25 years) we have lived all around the world to include multiple duty stations (11)in Germany, Italy, England, and the United States. I have three children and throughout their lives have been forced to go to other offices; but shes the only one to have gotten all prescriptions right, with everyone in my family (glasses and contacts), every time. Its actually pretty frustrating to have at least one out of the four of us, at every other place, get it really wrong. We then had to temporarily deal with the wrong prescription or the wrong fit. However Dr. Laura is the real deal. An EXCELLENT choice. If you dont want to waste your time, your money, or your insurance catastrophic cap go see her! I say that because we had a doctor charge for services not rendered and at a maximum allowable flat rate, not the advertised fee, when he charged our insurance...so ask and get it in writing before youre seen! Avoid any confusion or less than services; go straight to the top with this doctor. I highly recommend her.

This Vision Center is the BEST! Dr. Laura Weiter is very professional and good at what she does. The ladies in the vision store are also very knowledgeable and helpful. I have been struggling with my eyes for the last two-three years now. New to glasses, I needed someone to listen to me and help me. They all have certainly done that! I have been going here for over a year now and I am so thankful for each one of them. I appreciate that they know what they are doing and that they take the time to go the extra mile with me. :)

Dr Laura Weiter is Awesome!!!! She is one of the very few Doctors that loves what she does. She explains things so you understand and she Listens!!!!! I love her I recommend her to everyone.

Dr. Laura W is really great! Ive been going there for many years. I was skeptical at first because its Walmart...but for the price and the care that my daughter and I receive I would not go any where else. I had been to another office for a few years before that and everytime I went, I waited over 30 minutes. Ive never waited more than 10 here. Usually its less than 5 minutes and shes very friendly and efficient. I highly recommend her!

For starters, The ONLY reason I go to Walmart these days is if Fred Meyers or Kmart is out of something I need. Walmart is an underhanded business period. I got my hand slammed in a broken refrigerator door, the kind with the sodas by the checkouts. When I opened the door it was off the track so it slammed open and back so fast it caught my little finger. I filled out an incident report, went down to Good Samaritan and brought back the paperwork. Wouldnt you know, the lady I had talked to was mysteriously gone. The refrigerator in question was already taken out and replaced (can you show us the refrigerator???) and the store denied any knowledge (this could have happened anywhere).I went from really enjoying shopping there to rarely going in anymore. In fact, you can find comparable or cheaper products just across the street at Target or downtown at Fred Meyers or Kmart. They lost a customer in me.I agree their prices can be low, but when you get the product home, they are so cheap they are useless! I bought my daughters crib there, I thought the price, about $125.00 was not bad. However, as I was assembling it, I realized the front of the crib did not adjust up or down! Now come on! If its that basic it was really overpriced! See my point?Also, one thing I had really liked when I was shopping there was their photography studio. They removed that so I now I really dont have any reason to step inside.I also think they really mistreat their staff. Ive heard of them firing employees for staying home with sick kids.My impression: Find another place to shop.
