I love coming to NTB on Cone Blvd. The shop is always neat and clean. The staff are always courteous and polite. I have taken my car here numerous times and never had a bad experience. The mechanical work is great and Rodney at the front is always a pleasure to work with. He explains whats going on clearly and hes very informative. Unless they refer me to go somewhere else they will always get my business... Keep up the great work gentlemen!!!

Fast and efficient service. I came in last minute for new tires and an alignment . They fit me in on my lunch break while keeping me informed during the whole process not to mention, it only took a single hour. Howard was wonderful and super professional. Showed up for my appointment on time, was informed there would be a 2 hour wait and that my appointment didnt matter... after I planned for it, drove there and wasted my time. It mattered to me. I know the phone works there, this would have been an ideal time to use it.

I scheduled an appointment for an alignment for my 2014 Lexus IS350. I called the day before to let them know that my vehicle was lowered and wanted to make sure my car could make it up the (above-ground) lift. I spoke with Howard and he said he wouldn’t be sure until he saw the vehicle. I brought it down there the next day and Lily attempted and got it up there just fine without damaging my bumper. Lily was awesome and I haven’t met many female technicians but you could tell she knew what she was doing. Got my car back 30 minutes later. I highly recommend this place and will be back.

Earlier I had gone over the median while turning left. I took the car to NTB to see if there was any damage, since we were traveling across the country. There was no damage and they didnt charge for the inspection. They even added the coolant, which was a bit low. Thanks for a nice experience!

Don’t ever go here!....My car was booked in for a simple tire fitting, it doesn’t get any easier. They took just under 2hrs and also broke the TPMS sensor - I had to come back the following weekend and then they had the car an hour and told me they had got in the wrong sensor so could I come back again. Given they had all of the details of the car how they didn’t have the correct sensor is beyond me so I returned a 3rd time and they took over an hour to fit one sensor. Alex the manager was kind enough to offer me a free oil change for their terrible service but i declined as I never want to come back and experience their poor levels of customer service. You have been warned - I would give zero stars if I could.

Excellent Service and they helped me save as much money as possible

Initial encounter was great. We dropped vehicle off for 4 tires around 8:30 a.m. they said van would be ready around 1:30. They never called. We called NTB around 4:00. The person that answered the phone immediately said it was not ready. When I said it should have been ready around 1:30, she said Oh, whats the name? Hold on. Returned to the phone and said it was ready. We go to pick up the van, they cant find the paperwork. Then we get the van, a lug is missing and a wheel cap, which they cant find and are totally unconcerned. We had requested that they put one of the old tires on the spare rim, which they didnt do ‐ asked us to come back the next morning, so we leave the spare rim with them. We go the next morning of course the tire still hasnt been put on the rim. Again we asked about the lug and the wheel cap. No real response. Needless to say, I wont be returning to the East Millbrook Road location.

I had a very pleasant experience with my first time at NTB. I needed repairs to my front and back brakes and having never needed any repairs on my car, I didnt know where to go. A family recommended NTB and so I made an appointment. They checked me in as soon as I got there, I chose not to wait due to Covid and small waiting room. They called me an hour later with an update and quote for repairs. I thought it seemed a little high, and never having needed repairs before, I told them I wanted to shop around. The store manager, Howard was very accommodating in doing everything he could to get me discounts including a first responder discount as I work in healthcare. While I still thought the pricing was more than I wouldve paid somewhere else, the customer service and attention to detail (in parts being ordered and searching for applicable discounts), I felt very comfortable giving them my business. I did have to wait an extended time (6 hours or so) until I could pick up my car, but that was due to them having to order parts that were not in stock. Both Howard and Wendy were very helpful, kind, and patient in my experience. I plan to return for any additional repairs I may need in the future.

I booked a appointment online at one location for 2 tires, I get there and they tell me you cant trust the website, we dont even have those tires. They then tell me THIS location has tires in that size and I need to drive across town to get them. I get the store and he tells me they dont have them, dont have anything in that size and I even allow them to put a different size tire on. After 35 minutes he comes back and tells me oh were just too busy were not going to be able to get to it today. So after 1 appointment that was canceled by the company and driving across town to a second location, they let me wait 35 minutes before telling me they werent going to be able to do it. I guess this is how NTB runs their business and why you often see them change names every few years to tire kingdom or merchants. Go anywhere else!

Front desk is always courteous, friendly and knowledgable. They stay open til 8 which makes it easy for me to stop by after work if I have a tire problem. They always work me in quickly. Rates are reasonable. Work is good.

I have been a customer of NTB for years and this store really knows what they are doing. They educated me about exactly what my car needed which I appreciate and followed that with the best price and value for the Michelins I bought. Well done and I will be back with other cars!

Really easy to get my 4 tires changed and they even processed a warranty claim with Michelin so that I got the discount right then and there. Mike (the store manager) was fantastic and communicated with me throughout the week as they had to order my tires and mine was leaking air, so I was in a rush to get them changed.Then, when they didnt have the right pads to jack my car up (electric car with a battery & shield underneath), Mike drove to another tire shop to get them so I wouldnt be delayed. Honestly, without all his work, I wouldve ended up going somewhere else.Highly recommended.

Had a wonderful experience with these guys today.. had a slow leak in my tire and took it to the shop and they found a roofing nail in my tire and fixed me right up.. Ronnie is a hoot and enjoyed the whole experience.. will definitely be returning for all my service needs and will also recommend them to all my friends😊

The district manager Bruce Andrews was awesome!!!! I was their with my daughter & he was just so pleasant and kind and discuss everything they were going to do before doing it!!

Carlos Pinto Service Manager was the absolute best! He made the difference in where I will be taking my car for service from now on. His knowledge of the make and model of my car and his technicians skill saved me time and money. I love the way the millbrook rd has improved because of him.

Had a situation with a flat tire and wheel locks that the dealer failed to insure the key was in the car when I purchased it. Resulting in a situation where I could not repair the flat. I had my car towed to this NTB location not knowing that without the key they could not get the tire off. Due to the time of day the Manager Carlos assisted me and allowed me to store my vehicle overnight until I could get the issue resolved and did not charge me anything for the assistance they provided. Speaks volumes for the type of service you can get at this shop. I will definitely remember this and pass it on to anyone I know. Thank you.

I had an amazing experience with this location of National Tire and Battery! Antonio is THE best Manager this store has had in years and you can tell he cares about what he does and ensuring that his customers are completely satisfied. Rob, Curt, and Mr. Lee are all a pleasure to be around when I take my car in for preventative maintenance and I hope that this great team is shown that their efforts are not going unnoticed. As least with this customer here!

I remember when I had a Toyota and I took my car to this location back in 2017. I went in for a oil change but the mechanic (at the time) had said that I needed new tires, brakes and whatever else that I DIDNT need. After waiting for a 5-6 hours with people coming in after me and leaving before me, I finally got my car only for it to mess up on me 20-30 minutes later. I will give credit where its due even though the mechanic did fix it but after a few days, my tire had been making a funny sound coming from it. When I took my car up there again to figure out what the problem was, the guy who fixed it just told me it was my wheel bearing and walked off like he didnt have a care in the world nor did he give me any other alternative to help fix it. . .I hate to say it but my car was fine until I brought it to NTB thinking that a simple oil change would be fast and convenient but I ended up having to wait for a couple of hours for something I ALREADY had planned to do for my car later that day. Hopefully this place will have BETTER employees who value the work they do and not there just to get a check.

Got 4 tires and brakes installed. I worked with Alex and Kevin, both were very professional and honest. I would highly recommend going here for tires and any service you need done. They were very quick. Will definitely be taking my cars here for any future work.

Great service once youre there. The employees are very friendly and courteous; however, I experienced some bait and switch after I ordered my tires online. The prices in the store were much higher than what I was quoted online. The staff helped me as best they could, and I still ended up buying my tires at this location.

Michael continues to have an awesome crew here and deliver value to my household. I take all my cars here now . 2 years plus customer. I d recommend them for your tires, brakes, and oil change needs with extreme confidence. Also Wendy is super friendly and a nice addition to their team.

Recently came to this NTB Location for a few different things. Had to interact with a guy named Antonio. Very disappointed in his customer service skills. Will definitely not be returning unless they change their staff.

I had my brakes and rotors replaced at this NTB location and only 4 months later had to have them replaced again. I was not comfortable driving any further when my vehicle began to make a very loud grinding noise and shake when any pressure was applied to the brakes. I was told that the brakes that were put on just 4 moths ago were installed incorrectly so I had to spend another $500. Yes the place that just did my brakes again saved the pads NTB put on 4 months ago and I have them. They are completely burnt up. I called NTB and explained what had happened. Only to be told my Randy at NTB that there was nothing they could do. The do not honor their work nor value me as a customer. Please find someone else to service your vehicle.

I had an appointment(called and verified) for 6pm. When i arrived, i was told that 2 cars where ahead of me and i could not be seen because there is only 1 mechanic. I think it’s very unprofessional for me to have an appointment and not be seen because of this location’s mistake. I will not be returning to this location.

I had been 1x before for an oil change and seemed to go well so when I needed ~$700 of vehicle maintenance I called several days in advance and got an apt for 1PM . Job was expected to take 2.5 hours so I have to make arrangements with work/rides. I got a call the morning of my apt that the tech the day before took on additional clients for today, putting them ahead of me therefore pushing my time back. But they still wanted me to drop my car off at scheduled time... While this was inconvenient I said I must have the car finished by 5pm are we still good with that? The NTB rep Charles couldnt guarantee - he eventually called mid-afternoon leaving a message they couldnt take care of my car that day and get it done by 5pm. Very unprofessional to lock me into a time/date and then push me out for others that came later...wont be going back to this place again...

I spent over $800 on brakes, tires, an alignment and an oil change. My car was making weird noises the next day. They put no brake fluid in my car 😣. 5 months later I had to put a new ball bearing on my back tire. I took my car to another mechanic to get it fixed after the grinding sound got worse. NTB told me the sound would go away after they cleaned my rear brake drum. I would NEVER trust NTB again.

Just went in to have a simple oil change and tires rotated, The technician tells my Wife we need a new air filter. I say sure it’s about time for a new one. I was headed out of town so I filled up, gave me 369mi I drive to my job on Wakeforest rd. Pick up the kids falls of Neuse and to home reading 243 miles. I tell my wife this can’t be right. Look under the hood and my air filter was almost out of the case and none of the latches has been fasten after the service. I call to the shop and get Antonio the manager and this is when the customer service goes to the dogs. I explain to him what was going on and he tells me that the air filter doesn’t have anything to do with your mileage??? Really what Machanic school did he graduate from. He says did your check engine light come on, I explain to him that it could still come on after I fasten the filter down. I ask him was this not a safety issue? “No answer” I asked could this have caused damage to my vehicle” ? No answer? I ask for Bruce the GM number and the name of the tech who was responsible for my car? He asked for my number to look up the account and I stated to my son that’s it’s no wonder why they have been going through managers at this sight, he said since I feel that way you can call Bruce for your compliant??? I said fine what about the tech who did the work so I’ll know who to point the finger at” he stated you can get that information from Bruce too’ and hung up the phone!! So the safety of my family was not his problem, my gas milage that I lost was not his problem and he’s the store manager. I guess this is all Bruce problem..

This place is over rated. I regret sending my car there. The cap on my oil reservoir was not tight so there was oil spray all over my engine bay. My tires were not rotated due to tread which is fine but that was not pointed out to me that they would no do that if the tread was too low. I have a dash-cam which recorded the guy flooring my car around a turn and hitting a man hole cover I dont know if any rim damage was done as of yet. I went back to the store after reviewing the footage and to ask why my tires werent rotated. I wasnt offered any apology for the guy driving my car. the reason i was given an for the tires was acceptable. I have a year warrany for the alignment I plan on using it at this place but trust me I will not leave it and I will not be in need of any test drives since they want give me my money back for the alignment warranty minus the cost of the one alignment.

It can be hard to find a place thatll take a lowered vehicle but NTB took my lowered Mustang when I needed an inspection.

Pleasant employees but I fail to see how a simple oil change and tire rotation could take over an hour and a half. Im still in the waiting room from a 9:30 appointment!
