This was my 3rd mattress purchase at Original Mattress Factory. I dont even bother shopping around because their prices are so good and their beds are wonderful. They have a variety of options and encourage you to take your time in trying them out. They also have a generous comfort satisfaction policy for this industry as returned mattresses cannot be re-sold. I love my new mattress - extremely well made, pillow top on both sides. They also have a good selection of reasonably priced headboards which I wish I knew before I went.

We have been buying our beds here for over 20 years. Main beds, guest beds, and even CUSTOM sized mattresses for our RV!!! Always excellent customer service! If the salesperson does not know the answer, they will find out immediately. We have always been pleased with the quality. We love that its made right here in Raleigh, NC!!!! Now that is shopping local! Your new mattress will certainly not be from China...like everything else!

I love that they are made here, the levels of difference are clear and that they still make two sided mattress you can flip.

We have gone to this mattress store to buy mattresses 3 different times for different size beds. We have never been disappointed. The associates are friendly, helpful, and respectful. Make sure to dress comfortably and give yourself plenty of time to lye on each mattress for 10 minutes to find the one that you like. Delivery was a breeze and the men were respectful.

We have purchased our mattresses from this company for the last 23 years that we have been in Raleigh. In 2016 we bought one and recently it was very uncomfortable to us. We were still under 12 year warranty. They came to our home and ran some tests on it, took it to their store to complete their tests and within days called saying that unusual as it was, it was in fact defective. One of the owners, Reed, offered to replace the mattress with the one of our choice. We choose the Hybrid orthopedic mattress. It was delivered today and I will be NO good for anything today (maybe the rest of the week--LOL) because I will be on my new bed!!! THANK YOU, Original Mattress Factory, for the GREAT customer service from everyone on the phone all the way to the excellent care given by the delivery team to make us a Happy Customer!!!!

Were a repeat customer of The Original Mattress Company. Each time we go were pleased with the knowledgeable but low pressure sales staff. Their mattresses are made on site and they deliver. Their prices are very reasonable and their mattresses wear well. We will continue to go back there when we need our next mattress.

Don’t fall for the scam about double sided mattress at Original Mattress Factory. We paid over $900.00 for a mattress that only lasted 4 years with turning and flipping over ever 6 months.Even the alleged part owner as he called himself came to look at it and said he will not do anything about the tilting of the sides over 3 inches.We are not heavy people too.He was a scammer and the do not stand behind their product at all.Don’t waste your money.Get one from a more reputable manufacturer who will sell you a better product.Update: 11/26/2019They offered to come and take to mattress and bring it to the factory to take apart and see what’s wrong. It’s not a car. Who in the world would want them taking it apart and sewing it back together.I don’t think so.Never offered to just replace it.SCAM artists.

Betsy in the Apex store was so helpful to us and helped us with our purchase of an adjustable bed & 2 latex mattresses. After we got it home a couple of adjustments had to be made and they were done in a very timely manner. Everyone including the delivery people were delightful to deal with. My husband is still getting used to the mattress and its nice to know we can make a change within 1 year if needed. Wish we had been to OMF years ago.

Bought a custom foam mattress for my camper recently. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The mattress was a custom size plus it was curved and beveled on two corners. It fit like a glove when they finished and it is so much better than what it replaced. Thanks to everyone at the store. Nice to be able to have custom work done locally.

My husband and I went to the store on a Saturday and had the pleasure of working with Joey. He asked what brought us in and we told him we were looking for a double sided Mattress! He gave us a tour of where they actually make the Mattress on site. He asked if we knew what type of support we were looking for? He took us to the area of that Mattress style, he told us to try it out, take our time and let him know if we had any questions along the way. I like not feeling pressured to purchase:-) We purchased a new king Mattress and box spring and it was delivered 2 days later, needless to say the next morning I did not want to get up because it was so comfy!!! Go check it out you will be glad you did!!!

WOW! How many beds have I bought at Original Mattress Factory? At least 3 and referred at least 6 others. Why? Really simple. Better quality, expert craftsmanship, at a reasonable price. I have always got more for my money there. Simple store, not a lot of frills. I would rather have my frills in my mattress. You must compare them to the others. If you do, you will buy Original Mattress Factory.

When shopping for a new mattress I highly recommend checking with The Original Mattress Factory. Sales person Greg was very knowledgable without being pushy and really listened to our needs. We had been frustrated with the quality and life span of our last expensive mattress purchase. Weve had this new OMF mattress for four days and we love it!. Very comfortable for us and at a price point that makes us happy. Time will tell but so far its been wonderful for my RA and my wifes back problems. Great value!

I spent several hours in some of the typical mattress stores. Layed on many of there premium beds. I then requested a quote. The price of the mattress (without box spring) was over $4,000! Finally decided to go to The Original Mattress Factory, I had heard the commercials. Found a bed with the exact same feel and quality. The only difference, the mattress was $1,100. You will regret not checking this place out, if you are looking for a mattress.

Reed Murphy will promise you things and then a few days later he can’t remember telling you that and Nicholas Cota is the most arrogant, rude, domineering, condescending and confrontational customer service person that I have ever met.We advise, PLEASE save your money and go elsewhere.

Exceptional customer service here @ The Original Mattress Factory on Spring Forest. I came to pick up Jessicas new set and it wasnt at this location. I spoke to Reed, one of the owners and they offered me the option of an upgraded mattress and boxspring to take home today or a free delivery of the set that we purchased when it got to the store! Im happy to say I chose to bring the set home for her tonight! I cant say enough good things about the quality of the mattresses/box springs and the amazing customer service. We have been customers @ OMF for a lot of years. Consistent quality & best customer svc is why we always come back!

No Stars!!! What a costly mistake purchasing a mattress at this business. Pure misrepresentation of their floor samples and the product you actually receive. The bed I chose in the showroom and what was delivered were miles apart in comparison!!! Returned to showroom to try floor model again and nothing like my delivered bed. Relayed my dissatisfaction to sales person who was nonchalant about my dismay and simply suggested we can give you a roll of foam to add under your fitted sheet. Are you insane?!! Your company is taking advantage of the consumer!!! I threw $1000 out of the window dealing with your company and then went to a competitor and bought another mattress. Buyer Beware!!!

Did a bit of research on the original Mattress turns out it was invented in Persia in 3600 BCE. So Im not sure what these impostors were thinking, but this is in no way shape or form the original mattress factory.

Best Mattress Ever! Great Service!I made several stops in to try out all the beds and get lots of info. All the sales people were very friendly and knew all about ever model and could explain it to me. Even when I had been in before and asked again. The Quality of the mattresses really are so much better than other Major brands. I had a sealy I paid over $700 and after 2 years it was sagging and not good. I bought my new one from OMF for much less than that and much better quality! I would recommend to EVERYONE! I will buy all my future beds from them. I also like that I am supporting local people who manufacture the beds right here in Raleigh, NC.

Their mattresses are ok but I purchased an adjustable bed less than 4 years ago. I have had to have the plastic hinges (why plastic?) replaced 4 times. I just ordered another bed from someone else. I will not do business with these people again. You can find this piece of junk at the end of my drive way.
