Our new sofa got delivered today and it’s even more beautiful than I remember! I’m so thankful to have stumbled across Furnish when we were looking for a new sofa. Jill was our designer and she was so helpful with our custom order. She was very communicative during the wait between order and delivery. The delivery team was on time, efficient and very friendly. While COVID definitely impacted a timely delivery of my chair, I can honestly say the wait was well worth it. I ordered “the womb” a sexy, navy blue velvet rocking chair. It’s dreamy and wraps you comfortably as if in the womb. Customer Service (Megan & Dory) are top notch! They kept me informed every step of the way. I love their store! I had an excellent experience with Furnish a couple of years ago when I refurnished my great room. I could not wait to start another phase of my project so I could go back! My return experience was just as wonderful as the first time around. I had the pleasure of working with Dory again. Having an established relationship with her made it even easier this time! Not only does she know my existing pieces, she also knows me more as a person....my likes, dislikes, and how my family uses our living space. She was able to take all of that into consideration and made the entire process smooth and FUN! We worked on my office space, some area rugs and pieces to complete my downstairs, and my bonus room. My bonus room was particularly challenging because I really needed to work with a large sectional that was (at least in my mind) a dated color. While she could have convinced me to just buy a new sofa, she didnt. She went over paint colors with me, helped me find few key pieces and now, the room looks fresh, modern and the sofa no longer bothers me! While I am still waiting for a few pieces to be delivered, Julie at the front desk has kept me informed of manufacturing and shipping info. And Mike in the back checks each and every piece over with impeccable detail and care. I cannot recommend Furnish enough!

While searching online for furniture stores, my husband and I came upon Furnish. It must have been fate. We were excited to browse potential pieces as well as get some advice from one of the companys interior designers. The end result was so much more than we ever expected.We were introduced to Dory, and she helped us turn our house into a home that we will love for years to come. Dory was able to take elements that my husband and I both enjoy, use floorplans that we provided, and make the room feel like us with different furniture and design elements. Were grateful for the entire experience and will definitely be back for any future home furnishing needs.

What a fun store! Such a wide variety of high quality pieces that are so customizable! The on site interior designers were wonderful. We got lucky with Alyssa, who was a huge help with fabric choices. She showed me options I would have never put together on my own, and everything turned out way better than I imagined. The delivery time was delayed, as it seems all custom furniture was in early-mid 2021, but it was well worth the wait. Alyssa was great at keeping us informed of the delays and working to make sure we were happy. The sofa and chairs we purchased are hands down the best pieces of furniture we have. What a delight it is to work with the folks at Furnish! Everything in their store is beautiful and the staff is beyond helpful. Megan let us browse and try out furniture, gave us wonderful wisdom about what might fit well and look good in our living room, and kept us informed on the progress of our sectional. The pieces we purchased at Furnish are gorgeous! We purchased a couch, C- tables, rocker- glider chair, a marble kitchen table with chairs .We customized our pieces with beautiful lush fabrics. Furnish has a large selectin to choose from. We worked with Megan, one of the interior designers at Furnish. She is incredibly knowledgeable, and patient, and she has a great eye for what pieces will fit into areas that are space challenged We wanted a chaise couch to fit into a cut out in the room we were doing over. Megan knew right away how to configure two chaises to make it look like one piece. It is gorgeous!We have received many compliments on all of our pieces.You will not be disappointed if you shop at Furnish!

Which means, quality, price, selections, service, etc. Working with Furnish has been a breeze! Megan Garrett is the most wonderful, knowledgeable, and cheerful person! Design and selections can be overwhelming, but working with Megan has been so fun. The showroom is gorgeous, the quality is top-notch and the selections are quite large, but not overwhelming (if you have the right help). They are there to help, so please involve them! Delivery has also been seamless. Due to the pandemic, they have been flexible with split deliveries or storage, whatever it takes to make it work. I really feel like I am working with a team to please the customer.

Have purchased furniture twice from Furnish. Both times a designer helped us avoid making design errors with our choices. There are lots of cool, different fabrics to choose from-- and the store displays provide a great example. Most recently worked with Alyssa who is responsive and hospitable. We had an issue with an ottoman we purchased recently (legs were wobbly); we contacted Furnish and they sent it back to the manufacturer to be repaired at no cost to us. That makes me feel valued even after purchasing and I appreciate that a lot- weve never had that kind of commitment to quality from any other furniture store.**Back for more! We walked in and thought everything was definitely going to be out of our price range. Everything looked gorgeous and the quality was outstanding. The prices were actually very reasonable for the craftsmanship and customizability. Dory gave us a great experience shopping, and let us wander and discuss on our own. She was very helpful when we were designing our tables. She was not pushy or hovered over us like other places we went. We loved that she gave us design advice for our tables and chairs. There is a wait time since the furniture is made to order. We placed our order a month ago and have not received the furniture yet, but if delivery goes as smoothly as the day we picked everything out, Im positive it will be worth the wait!!

Purchased some living room furniture (two sofas), and the quality is outstanding! The floor model reclining loveseat is great, and the charlotte sofa (which was custom built and upholstered) is super comfortable. Products made locally (Norwalk Furniture made both of my sofas), which I also liked. They seemed to have a good reputation, and now I see why.Going in and browsing was an easy process. The staff asked if you needed help, and if not, they left you alone to browse (not pushy at all like the chain shops). Obviously custom made furniture like this is more expensive, and I was on the fence about spending that much. They have a solid warranty and guarantees on the furniture, so once I thought about the cost of these items over 20 years vs the cost of buying cheaper (and less comfortable) furniture multiple times over 20 years, I decided to go with the fancy furniture. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful in picking out the upholstery (which I knew nothing about), tons of choices there. Buying process felt a bit rushed - they didnt explain a lot of the steps in much detail, but it worked out in the end.Delivery window was 6-8 weeks, and it took just about 8 weeks to arrive. Delivery team was great! They were friendly and knew the products inside and out. They placed everything where I requested, added the cushions, and took care of all the packaging. Overall a great experience, and I expect this furniture to last for a very long time.

Every single time we came by the store just to browse for ideas amd assess for quality of pieces Dory was always open, welcoming and patient in answering all our questions. On our third visit we made our purchase and it was really awesome to have Dory along the way to help us decide on fabric and color scheme. She was willing to looking at other furniture picked by another interior designer to make sure it will worked with the furniture we bought. Her 10 years of experience really shows and we will definitely be back!

Furnish has delivered on their name -- most of our new home is Furnished By Furnish. The customer service and design are impeccable. We worked with Dory on style and color and did she ever deliver! She was able to make a beautiful reality out of a mishmash of ideas and steer us clear of pitfalls.

Furnish is without doubt one of the best --if not the best-- furniture places in the triangle. There are very few other places that can compare in both quality and design. We bought a table a few months ago, and we looked A LOT for one throughout the triangle because we had a tricky dining area to decorate. At Furnish, Alyssa, one of their decorators, was able to help us design our table to best fit our space. She was very knowledgable! Her drawings of our space and renders of the pieces were incredibly helpful. It was really a pleasure working with her, and we coulndt be happier with our table!

Were super happy with the product we received. There was an understandable delay in building our custom pieces but it was well worth the wait. I would definitely visit Furnish again in the future. For the record we bought a magnificent dining table a a custom sectional sofa. The delivery guys were nice and helpful, very much wanted to make sure that were pleased with the result, which we were.

We worked with Megan and had a lot of fun customizing fabric for our chairs and choosing different options on our dining room set. The end result is very classy and feels like ours. There are a lot of great design ideas and tables to choose from. This is definitely not a cookie cutter type of store. Highly recommended and the total experience exceeded expectations.

I went to a lot of stores - probably too many - to look for living room furniture. The staff and selection at Furnish truly made me feel at home! They have a well-curated, creative selection, unlike the sea of grey/beige I saw at other stores. Very cozy, but with a modern twist. I felt inspired as soon as I walked in, and the staff was helpful and kind even though they were busy.My favorite pieces ended up being from Furnish, Crate + Barrel, West Elm, and Havertys. Furnishs pricing was very competitive with the bigger chain stores, but with better style and service! Highly recommend.

My husband and I received our Atwood bedroom furniture delivery from Furnish a couple weeks ago. The furniture is beautiful and we are very pleased. All of the items are exactly what we hoped they would be and they look great in our space. The quality of the products alone sets Furnish apart from many other furniture stores, but what really stood out to us was the excellent customer service every step of the way.It was absolutely delightful chatting with Megan while we were looking at the showroom and considering different pieces and options. She mastered the balance of letting us browse alone at our own pace while checking in periodically in a helpful and non-pushy manner. We didnt purchase anything on our first visit because we wanted to check the measurements of our space and some other stores/options first before making a decision. Megan and the rest of the showroom staff were so kind and positive, and not rude or upset at all about us leaving without making a purchase. Megan offered to create a complimentary design/layout of the furniture in our space if we decided to come back with measurements for our bedroom.After looking at multiple furniture stores, we decided that what we found at Furnish were pieces that were unique, high-quality, and something that we both loved. We could not find that anywhere else we looked. At Furnish, the options are customizable - customers get to pick the furniture style, type of wood, stain/finish, and even the drawer/cabinet pulls. So we went back to Furnish with an idea of what we wanted and with our bedroom dimensions/measurements in hand. Megan provided great advice, and the design schematic/plan she made for us was so helpful for transforming the space into something so much more than just a bedroom. Who knew a rug could make such a difference?! It sounds cheesy, I know, but our bedroom is already a place that I know Im going to enjoy looking at in addition to sleeping (and I havent even put the artwork up, yet!).As for the delivery process - Megan was very upfront (and accurate) about the amount of time it would take to receive our furniture. Keep in mind that these pieces are quality products made custom upon order. The furniture pieces are not pre-manufactured pieces sitting around in a warehouse collecting dust and scuff marks. So it does take a bit of time for the pieces to be made, but it is so so worth the wait. Once the pieces were ready, we received a phone call from Mike to schedule the delivery date and time. He was very polite and made the process extremely easy. Mike insisted on scheduling delivery for a specific date and a specific time, not the 8-hour window that you get stuck with from other stores.The delivery team was two very polite and careful gentlemen, Samad and Dex. They arrived right on time, and then did an absolutely fantastic job and really just blew us away. We know our house had a difficult layout for such large furniture, not to mention having to take it upstairs. Samad and Dex worked with care to get everything inside and in its place without any damage to the furniture, our house, or (most importantly) themselves! They were polite and fun, and really worked well together as a team. It is very apparent that they know what they are doing and are good at what they do. They also took the time to make sure we understood how to remove/replace the drawers, maintain the furniture, and gave us a few tips to watch out for when placing items on the surfaces.Purchasing furniture from Furnish has been an extremely positive experience from start to finish. Furnish is a great furniture company! When you shop at Furnish, you get the personal services of a designer who works with you to understand what you want and need - you also get professional delivery that is easy to schedule, always on time, courteous, and aimed at making sure the customer is satisfied. When we buy from Furnish, we love the fact that we are getting high quality furniture made in the US that will last several years. Whenever we have a furniture need in our house, the first - and usually the only and last - place we go is Furnish!!!The designer we have worked with for several years is Dory Barnes, who is amazing. Dory always takes the time to understand what we are looking for, what is important to us, and what our style is. She takes into consideration that we have kids and a dog and makes recommendations accordingly. My husband and I are close on our style preferences - but not perfectly aligned - and Dory is able to hear both of our viewpoints and make suggestions that work with both of us. And she is SO SO patient with working through things with us - and helps push us out of our comfort zone just enough to find that perfect compromise. We used Furnish initially for our living room and have since used them for our family room, master bedroom, office, and now cant wait for our furniture to arrive for our bonus room! Dory has even been great about including our kids in the decision process as they have grown - and trust me, merging 4 opinions is not an easy task!!!We have also been very pleased with the delivery service at Furnish. It is so different from the big box stores. At Furnish, they call to set up a specific time that is convenient to you - instead of a 4 hr window based on their convenience. They consistently show up on time - and if theyre running late, they always call. When they arrive, they are so courteous - they wear booties, make sure they know where the furniture is going, and they have never marked up our walls - even when taking a very heavy, bulky desk up the stairs. They also take the time to show you how the furniture works (eg, how the pieces of a sectional connect together) and take care of whatever you need - eg, putting on felt toppers for furniture on hardwood floors. They ALWAYS ask if things are okay, if you have any questions, etc, and never rush out the door.We highly recommend Furnish. If you dont find exactly what youre looking for on the sales floor, let a designer know - there are so many customizations they have access to and theyll truly be able to help you find what youre looking for.

Not sure why anyone would spend this money on something that requires more than 12 weeks of wait. Staff is arrogant as if they are the only furniture store in the area. I dont understand how a local business can be so rude but apparently they dont care about keeping customers. I have gone to multiple furniture stores within and outside of the area recently. By far their staff is the worst. Dont be gulled by the showroom. Stay away.

I cant say enough good things about Furnish. Furnish is the best store in the Raleigh-Durham area for unique, high-quality, modern furniture. They are a cut above any of the other furniture stores in their area both in products and service. The designers are fantastic and provide really helpful guidance in selecting your items. They were also extremely patient with me while I was indecisive and took many visits to finalize my selections. I had bought a dining table from a popular retailer, but there were no dining chairs that matched that I liked, so I went to Furnish where I ordered gorgeous dining chairs that were custom made to match the wood on my dining table. They are a perfect match, and I could not be happier with how fabulous they look, exactly as hoped. Thank you, Furnish and especially my designer Megan! Definitely recommend!

My new furniture arrived the day before Thanksgiving and I could not be more pleased. It was my absolute pleasure to work with Dory throughout the entire process. She is amazing and the most talented designer I have ever worked with. Her vision for my family room makeover was incredible. This is a great place to shop for furniture. We purchased several pieces of outdoor furniture from Furnish this year and had a great experience. Alyssa was so helpful with printing out scaled models of the furniture to show us how it would look in our outdoor space. She also did a lot of research for us to determine the types of fabric other options that were available from the manufacturer. She saved us so much time! It would have been a stressful process without her! I look forward to my next Furnish purchase.

Over the past 3 years, we have purchased 3 sets of furniture from Furnish -- a full bedroom set, a breakfast nook table and chairs, and a dining room table and chairs. We keep coming back to Furnish for two reasons: (1) exceptional service from their designers, and (2) unmatched quality of the furniture.We have worked with Megan and she takes time to understand our style, the dimensions of our room, and the special needs of our family (two small children and lots of wear-and-tear). It is truly a consultative process.The quality of the furniture is unlike anything you will get in a big box store. Yes, you pay more for solid wood and furniture made in the USA, but I can tell you that even with rough kids our pieces from Furnish still look like new (unlike the furniture weve gotten from chain retailers).The delivery team is professional too -- never damage our house bringing in the furniture (which has happened multiple times with other stores), always on time, and offer flexible delivery times that work for a busy family.

I really like the approach Furnish has to custom make what you really need. They have a wonderful selection of furniture, treatments, and styles to choose from.With their approach, you can get furniture that solves a functional issue like back support, color or style of the furniture, and even to custom design pillows that are the the size and thickness and the fabric you want.We were very pleased with the chairs and pillows we ordered and received. The staff is very helpful whether it is the designer, or the delivery person.

My husband and I looked at furniture for our living room for several months. We were unable to find anything that was both the style we were looking for and the quality we expected...until we walked into Furnish. The showroom is full of the most beautiful custom, quality pieces we have seen. Thankfully we met Dory, one of their talented and patient interior designers! I was seriously overwhelmed (in a good way) with all the options and choices and Dory walked us through each step and made designing our new living room fun! She asked all the right questions and gained an understanding of how our family would use the room and steered us in the right direction each step of the way. My husband and I have very different styles and she was able to blend our styles perfectly into a room we both love. (Did I mention how incredibly talented and patient she is?! Lol) As an added bonus, we were able to fully furnish the room under budget. We will definitely use Furnish again for all our future design needs.

I had a wonderful experience from beginning to end at Furnish! I was redesigning my master bedroom, and had a vision of what I wanted. I worked with Dory, who is an excellent designer, and she guided me through the selection process to get exactly what I wanted. She was knowledgeable, had great ideas, and I loved working with her. The delivery of the bedroom items was one of the best furniture delivery experiences Ive ever had - Samad and Dex are outstanding at what they do. Furnish is a breath of fresh air, with well-made pieces that are modern, while at the same time timeless and comfortable. We were fortunate to work with designer Dory Barnes, who walked us through the process of furnishing multiple rooms. She was incredibly helpful, with insightful suggestions and choices that really pulled the rooms together functionally and aesthetically. We have worked with many other stores and designers in the past, and I can honestly say we have never had such a fantastic experience, from design to delivery!

We had a great experience at Furnish. Megan greeted us at the door, gave us some direction and then some freedom to roam. As soon as we were ready to discuss the project, she was available to address all of our questions. We purchased an amazing outdoor patio set that we will be enjoying for years. Our addition was a bit delayed, but Furnish was very understanding and held our purchase until we were ready to receive it. The knowledge we got from Megan SAVED our new sunroom furniture purchase. We almost purchased from a big furniture store and would have overpaid greatly for a far inferior product. We learned about the custom couches at Furnish, the quality parts, and the premium fabric we chose. It was one of our best purchases ever and far exceeded the quality we wouldve ended up and was several hundred dollars less. Very fair prices for high quality furnishings and excellent customer service. We will be back!

I love this store! When I walk in I am inspired by the beautiful design and the quality of the pieces. I shopped up and down Glenwood Ave, but found myself returning to Furnish. Im glad I did as I met Dory! Dory is an amazing designer that took the stress out of decision making away as I just couldnt decide what I wanted. She was able to quickly understand the look I was going for and from there she pulled options and brought it all together from furniture, to lighting and rugs. Furnish and Dory will forever be my go to for any furniture, lighting, rugs and decorating accessory needs!

My wife and I recently embarked on the journey to find furniture for our new home build. We went to some of the typical places, but couldn’t find anything we liked in terms of style and quality. We thought about going to Highpoint and checking out the megastore, but the tales of poor customer service, items delivered broken, etc. scared us off. Then, we went to Furnish and we immediately knew we had found the right place. The furniture was beautiful and very high quality, but still affordable. Dory, one of the senior designers, greeted us quickly, but was not pushy and encouraged us to look around the store. We ended up working with Dory to furnish much of our new home. She was fun to work with, asked about our needs and lifestyle, and was willing to work with pieces we already had. Over several weeks and meetings, she put together a set of furnishings for us that are beautiful, just our style and will last for many years. She also provided valuable input into design selections for our new home build, ensuring everything dovetailed together. Dory was truly interested in delivering what we wanted and not what she wanted to showcase. We couldn’t be happier with Dory or our experience at Furnish and will definitely shop there again in the future. She offered her help, without feeling pushy or overbearing. After bouncing a couple ideas off of her as we browsed the store, I quickly came to realize that she was not only very skilled, but very enjoyable to work with! Three hours later we had discussed my room in detail. She had us feeling less overwhelmed and excited to start acting on our project. I shared with her some photos and room measurements. Within a day, she sent me additional info, an initial to-scale layout of my room, and inquired about more details. To say she has outstanding communication would be an understatement. I met with her two more times to iron out some details and had a wonderful experience! She made it so fun! She was respectful of what my needs were, took function and cost into consideration, as well as the many concerns about buying new furniture with toddlers!I have yet to receive my furniture (we still have a few more weeks before it is set to be delivered), but I have no doubt that I will be beyond pleased! My entire experience thus far has been superb! I highly recommend Furnish!

Our designer, Dory, was very sweet and helpful in selecting furniture and fabric, but that’s where it ends. The promise of design services that are supposed to be included in our purchase apparently are longer available after the items are in your home, she didn’t want to come out before new items were in place. She informed me that she would not be able to come out unless I needed new items. Just understand that not all of what is promised will be delivered. Also, we had the hardest time getting a delivery estimate date and actually we didn’t until about 1-2 weeks before items were delivered. When we placed the order we were told X amount of weeks and after we paid, those weeks multiplied and we were never able to get an estimate until almost delivery time. Not happy with services at all. I love my furniture and am happy with it, but that where their services end.I have been contacted by the owner and she is willing to do whatever it takes to make good on the process and promises. I have also been assigned a designer that will help me complete the look on the house now that our items are here. Both of them are very willing to make our house look perfect. I have been impressed by them both and glad I talked with them. I feel like I will be very pleased and happy with the finished product.

We just moved from the New York area and needed to furnish our new home. We were lucky enough to find this store. We ended up furnishing the entire house. We love the entire staff the service and of course the furniture. Dory was amazing and from now on will be my to go designer.

The ladies at Furnish describe themselves as picky. Well their pickiness pays off for their customers. We loved our beautiful furniture. What a wonderful showroom! The minute I walked it, I felt like this was the place for me to pick my furniture. I met Megan, who later became our personal designer. She took her time to listen to all our needs and even came to our house to make the measurements. My husband and I have different tastes and we have never felt so much at ease decorating a room. She was able to blend in both our styles and make our room cozy, comfortable and stylish at the same time. We never felt like we were being pushed to buy the most expensive product, nor did we feel like finances were a restraining factor. In the end, we got what we wanted at the price we wanted. She even gave a layout to the delivery personnel, so they could arrange the furniture just as we had planned. I cannot say enough good things about Furnish and about Megan. Highly recommended.

Visited Furnish for the first time this past March after hearing about their great furniture selection and design team. We were looking for a dining room table and chairs for the house we had just purchased. EVERYTHING about Furnish exceeded our expectations! Dory, our designer, did an amazing job of GUIDING us to furniture options based on understanding our style, without PUSHING any particular agenda. Once we selected the basic table and seating that worked for us, Dory patiently walked us through the myriad choices we had to customize each piece to our liking. She, again, used her design expertise to guide our choices in areas where we struggled to determine what would “work” in the space we wanted to fill. She managed our expectations about delivery of our finished goods perfectly - our new table and chairs arrived at our home just slightly ahead of her estimate. It was DEFINITELY WORTH the wait - our furniture is gorgeous and we love both the finished look and the comfort of each piece!
