I highly recommend this dealership! I drove 2 hours to buy a car from this lot, and I was not disappointed! They even arranged to fix a broken tail light on it. I LOVED the old school touch of them sending me off with a full gas tank. Bill and James were wonderful!

This dealership is one of the best that I have ever dealt with. We found them on cargurus and they made the buying experience pleasurable. We had a pre-approval from our credit union but they were able to get us a full percent lower. Charles actually took the car out for his own test drive and felt that the car had a hesitation. So he had the fluids serviced. This fixed the issue. I had to fly in to pick up the car and Charles picked me up at the airport in the car which allowed me to test drive the car back to the dealership. I was in and out quickly, less than half an hour. They also overnighted the paperwork so it would be signed by both my wife and I so she wouldnt have to fly. My tank was full when I left and James Brown made the signing easy. I highly recommend these guys, they have a wide selection of clean used cars. Our BMW was spotless and showroom ready.

Sold a lemon to a good family friend of mine. Buyers beware.First bought the vehicle and broke down within 24 hours, took two weeks to fix. After obtaining the vehicle again from the dealer it was found there was extensive issues with transmission, dealer not willing to help. 14k is a big investment to still not have a usable vehicle.I understand these are used cars but the dealer should make every effort to make things right. This was not the case.

I wouldn’t recommend getting a car from here . I was referred by a friend and I loved the place until I bought the car, I came from SC & sat there for more than 5 hours just to receive a beautiful Audi with a dead charger fuse, I brought it to their attention and they said that their shop was closed now, so I had to buy multiple portable chargers and sit there for a LONGER time before I could drive all the way back to SC.. I’m a female so I didn’t know that a fuse was a minor problem when I finally got home after getting lost due to everything I had for power dying, my mother brought it to my attention a fuse was a easy fix and I was able to do it myself ! Something those wonderful dealers could have told me if they cared about my situation being that I just bought the car and haven’t even left yet, I swept that under the rug .... until not longer after I’m receiving unprofessional TEXT threats of getting my car takin away if I don’t send a picture of my social security card .. something other dealers never asked for ... so I send it when I finally find it and also pay my car tax per threat from the dealership and send the receipt which they had me do twice ... now I bought this car back in April and it is now JULY and I still haven’t gotten my hard tag .. I call and call and nothing is happening .. now I’m paying for a car Im scared to drive due to expire tags and just like from the beginning with my fuse it’s excuses and me getting ignored !! I DO not recommend getting a car from here .. nothing but headaches since I walked thru the door.. so upset I traveled to get a car just to receive all these problems

Edited this post in all fairness to give the dealer a chance to correct this problem. Car was attempted to be repaired and the results speak for itself; overspray everywhere, fisheyes in the paint, thin spots/fog in the paint, fender doesnt line up (instead of replacing hinge that is bent, they pushed the fender down to line up with the hood). Dirt and defects in pain, poor masking job around emblem. I paid the advertised price for this car in Pre-accident condition on the promise it would be fixed and I would never know. I am waiting for a response and then I will delete this, and write a good review if they correct this.

I had the fortunate opportunity to come across a vehicle that I was interested in and inquired by email. Within minutes Mark called me and spoke to me, sent me pictures when asked and answered all my questions. I drove 3 hrs with my buddy on a Saturday and was greeted with a hand shake and prompt service. Within an hour and half (approximately) I had signed all paperwork and handed the keys. They took the time to fully clean the truck gas up the truck (EVEN FILLED UP MY BUDDIES TRUCK WHO DROVE ME). Mark and James and everyone at Ideal Auto were professional and courteous. Couldnt ask for a better and more customer-centered experience from any other dealership if I TRIED! I bought my first car from iDeal Auto in 2015, and 3 years later Im onto my third car from iDeal and couldnt be more impressed with this dealership. Im in medical sales so I trade in my vehicles more frequently than the normal person does, but every time I need something new, the guys at iDeal go above and beyond to not only get me the best deal, but find the best car for my money. Worst experience working with Bill and Jorge. (Mark and James are an exception to everything I have to say about this interaction. They were beyond helpful but they can’t help who they work with and for...) I spent a whole day, test drove the truck and advised of some issues I found while test driving. I was reassured all this could be fixed. Some issues included my seat warmer not working and my DVD player not working on the 3rd row (which I later find out after finishing paperwork that I was misinformed it was the 2nd row that didn’t work). I was provided with a paper that told me what they would fix and that they would send me the DVD player to my home to have installed, an appointment would be made with a dealership to repair the seats not working, and offered a tank of gas and $100 off for my troubles.Well it’s been a week since this all took place and I have had to call back repeatedly to get an update on when I will receive the DVD player and keep getting the run around on someone calling me back.They put the truck up for sale before actually looking at it to see what was wrong and correcting it before selling so that they could hurry up and get it out the door. The owner could care less about the quality of vehicles he is putting out. They accept anything and don’t even do a full inspection of their vehicles when someone wants to sell a vehicle to them (watched it happen while I was there the second day)DONT BUY FROM THEM UNLESS YOU WANT TO DEAL WITH A LOT OF HASSEL

If I could have given this dealership negative stars I would have. I want all potential buyers to be aware of the deceptive practices that this dealership deploys in an effort to get a deal done. As a buyer you need to understand that the only thing that the owner George Bell Jr cares about is the sale of a vehicle. I have waited for weeks for George to call me in regard to promises he and his Finance Manger James made to me in writing. I did everything the dealership asked me to do in a timely manner and in return they have delivered nothing but roadblocks and broken promises. George believes that the world revolves around him and that he is the only one on the planet that is busy. They did however find the time to sell me a vehicle. Its the post-sale, after hes got your money, that he doesnt care anything about. James and Mark are wonderful people and I do believe they have done everything in their power to resolve this matter. But at the end of the day, as an employee of the company, their is only so much they can do and it is ultimately up to the owner to honor his word and commitment. Please take that into consideration when considering doing business with iDeal Auto. George will agree to make it right IN WRITING and to put it simply he just doesnt. Do your research, take some time to look around at the many dealers in Raleigh, and above all else make sure you Google the owners name you never know what you might find. Dont make the same mistake I did... Take your business elsewhere.

I just purchased my 2015 Mustang GT Premium from Ideal auto last week. Charles was my sales agent and he was extremely helpful and professional with all the questions I asked about the vehicle. I made a appointment to see a vehicle with Steve and discussed a few details about the truck. The next day I called and moved my appointment to a earlier time and spoke with Charles, so I showed up to the dealership and asked the guy at the front desk if I could see the vehicle he stated the vehicle had been sold the previous day. Could not have had a better experience! I called them on Saturday 11-9-19 and got a salesman named Mark on the phone told him what vehicle I had seen on their website and that I was coming from west of Charlotte NC and I was wanting to get the deal working while on my way to the dealership. I went online and got the credit information done just to speed up the process. We talked about the price a few times on the way there and when I arrived he had it ready for me to take it for the test drive. Once I returned he had most of the paper work ready and to my surprise the numbers where very close to what I was expecting and wanting to pay. Then I went into the finance office with James and the experience was great there as well. We discussed the warrnaties and gap coverage and then completed necessary paper work. I was in the car business for several years and Im telling you that this was absolutely the best buying experience that I have had. While we were waiting for the car to be washed for delivery I met Geoge who is the owner and I can again say what a nice gentleman. They really made this an easy transaction. I will not hesitate to purchase from them again in the future. It was well worth my drive from Charlotte to Raleigh. Again Mark was very professional and took great care of us.

I cannot express enough how amazing the whole team at Ideal Auto is. My husband and I have been searching for a well maintained SUV. I first visited their lot to look at a Yukon XL that I had seen online. We live about 1.5 hours from their location so it was a little disappointing when we got their and I found out that the vehicle had just sold the day before. I was shown two other vehicles on the lot that although were beautiful vehicles they were not the model of vehicle we wanted. Car purchases are significant expenses and access to quality, dependable transportation affects quality of life and the ability to do things like get to work. Dealerships cant be held accountable for every single thing that happens to a car, but they absolutely can and should be held accountable for the experience they provide and the way customers feel after engaging with them.Overview:-- I was repeatedly inconvenienced with having to play middle man between the dealer and multiple service shops they used to address the issue I had with my car immediately after purchase--Not sure how thorough of an inspection they do of cars -- the car I purchased didnt take gas. Not sure how that could have been missed in a thorough check of the car.--Management did not once acknowledge or speak to me, even though my car had to be serviced 4 times within the first few weeks of purchase.--If you have issues, demand that they cover the cost of a rental if you need one. They will not provide a loaner. Theres no reason you should buy a car and then have to pay for a rental as well. They only covered the cost the second time I had to rent.--Tip: taking a few minutes to read of few of their responses to negative reviews offers great insights into the energy and experience you can expect.Detailed experience:Went here in November after my car was totaled. Was hesitant to buy from this place because the cars do not come with a warranty. When I expressed this hesitancy, the salesman stated that warranties are not important, because they do good business and make sure their customers are taken care of.I purchased a car. Had it a couple days. When I go to put gas in the car, it takes literally 5 to 10 minutes to fill it up with gas. The gas pump would stop as if the car was full and you literally could not pump for more than a few seconds at a time.Took the car back to Ideal Auto. They arranged service, however, I had to take the car to their mechanic - three times (twice to one shop and once to another). Essentially, I was an unpaid part of their customer service department and was left responsible to deliver messages and my car to the shop they had working on the car.Once the issue was not resolved for a third time, they took over the process after I refused to continue being the middle man in the process.During the process, I had to rent a car twice, as I was told that they no longer provide loaners while cars are serviced. They did not cover the cost of the rental the first time, and covered it the last time after my expressed frustration with the whole process.The problem ended up getting resolved weeks after I purchased the car. With the exception of the first rental, they did cover all costs.During this time, I asked to speak with the owner and was told that I didnt need to and that the salesperson I was working with was the only person I needed to speak with.Fast forward a few weeks, and now the car wont accelerate due to an electronic throttle control or whatever. I have absolutely no trust in the safety of the car, even if I fix it, and, yet again, am left having to rent a car for a third time even though I purchased a car less than 6 months ago.

The dealership took my money I put $4000 down and they said that I owed them $2000, this dealership sells cars that have issues, they sold a 2012 Audi A 8 and it has so many issues that they did not disclosed, this Dealership will ripped you off completely do not go there. The cats they sell have a lot of problems!

My experience with Ideal was fantastic. They have a genuine warm kindness within their business culture. The sales process was low pressure; it was the exact opposite of what most are accustomed to when visiting dealerships. George makes sure the inventory he puts on the lot are dependable used vehicles, and he stands by that. Since I purchased my truck, there have been a few issues, and they are taking care of them. They provide a good customer service at the beginning of the transaction but after they got my money.. they just ignored my issues. This is not a forum for all details but Bill the sale representative just don’t follow up with his customers. I purchased a 41k truck and the results of the truck not the best. I was hoping for them to fix the issues of my truck but instead they ignored me and treated me like I just don’t know what I am talking about it. I am very disappointed because again.. I believe in small businesses. I hope someone else don’t have to experience the same. I will definitely go on my next company truck to a bigger dealer.

I would like to thank Mark at I-Deal Auto for the great customer service he provided to me with purchasing a car form the dealership. I was passing by and spotted a car I had been lookin for and turned around to go to the dealership and check it out. I knew I would not be able to get the car because I had just committed to a new car loan in January. Mark asked me a lot about the current loan and if I wanted the car I had been looking at.. I told him yes but there was no way to get out of the loan commitment from January. He asked me to leave it to him and let him do what he does in helping people. I left the dealership feeling pretty good. The next day Mark called and informed me that the car had sold that night. I was very disappointed. A week later Mark called and told me to come pick up my car. I asked how did this happened and what car am I picking up? Mark searched for me another car to replace the one that was sold and since I had already been approved all I had to do was pick it up. He stayed late and ensured all the paperwork was taken car of. I am Britney Duhaney. I went to this place to buy a vehicle but left because I was short on some important issue. I left and they call back within 30 minutes. They said they like when customers leave feeling please. They did everything for me. I did not even think I could leave with the car. I only went to enquire. They did everything right away so I could leave with the car. They even kept telling me to choose my car and ensure that I drive it and is very pleased. I tried about 5 cars and they never seem annoyed. Very friendly people. Best customer service I ever got. Bill is great. Everybody is great cant remember all their names. This is the place to go. Not your ordinary used car dealer! These guys know customer service. They are building something special here. The quality of vehicles on this lot is surprising but not as surprising as the down-to-earth attitudes from the staff. Felt like I had known these guys for forever by the time I left. George, Brett and Todd were all very attentive and made sure my Wife and I were comfortable during our purchase.One thing that surprised me was the fact that they encouraged me to either take the car to a mechanic or have one come onsite to check it out. I actually had a mechanic meet me at the dealership and he gave my Land Rover Range Rover Sport a clean bill of health. I honestly feel that George and his team will do whatever is required to earn your trust. They understand that the key to success is being a car dealer that the community can rely on and trust. I drove 2.5 hours to get to the dealership and will definitely do it again next time I need a car. I will also point my friends and family to these guys.

The sale process went well. The sale guy seems to be on top of things but doesnt have much say after the sale is done. The problem I have with this dealer is that I took the car to a BMW dealer and payed over $350 to inspect the car before buying it. The BMW dealer indicated that there is an OIL pan leak and should be fixed. Also pointed out some other minor issue that I didnt worry about too much. By the way replacing a gasket on a 2012 BMW X5 costs over $3000. Then I made a deal with Ideal Auto to pay full asking price if they replaced the Oil Pan gasket. They agreed to take it to their own auto repair shop because they said it isnt going to cost much. They called me indicating the gasket is replaced. I bought the car and thinking everything is good. It turns out they havent replaced the oil pan gasket. Now the car is still leaking oil and Im not sure what I can do. I do have documentation of this issue and thinking of seeking an attorneys help. Regardless, my advice to anyone buying an auto from this dealer (Ideal Auto) is to do a good job in dotting your Is and crossing your Ts. Or better yet get a car from a different dealer.

Owner refuses to talk to customers. Had to go through the receptionists as if this was Deal or No Deal. I had cash in hand and was willing to negotiate for a better price or very minimum financing, but he still wasn’t willing to talk. Car was overpriced by KBB and NDA. When I asked about the value, the receptionist stated that she don’t know and didn’t have the means to look it up. No business should ever treat customers the way I was just treated.

These guys are absolute lifesavers. My good friend had a tough time finding a way into a vehicle after being out of work delivering pizza due to an injury for over a month and his short credit history in the United States. We stopped by iDeal and discussed his situation and the need to get him in a vehicle he could finance. Not only were they able to make a deal happen, they had him out the door and on his way to work with time to spare. Mark and the rest of the team at Ideal Motors were responsive from day one, starting with my initial inquiry, and continuing through a period of weeks until I was able to get the the car I was looking for. There were 4 other cars on lot that I was considering but Mark helped me navigate pass those to help me get what I was looking for. The transaction was quick and easy 15 minutes at the most I was out of there. Since I had an approval letter from the bank, I was able to drive off of the lot with the new car that day. Great experience with going to this dealership. Found a couple issues with the truck during test drive and visual inspection. Bill and the staff immediately said that everything found would be professionally corrected before purchasing at no cost to us.Even tho we didnt end up making a deal on the vehicle that we came to purchase, I would still recommend people going and checking out iDeal Auto for their next purchase. The beginning of March my husband and I stopped at ideal auto. We were greeted by George, the owner. No high pressure. He just let us look around. The second car I saw I knew was the right one. We liked everything about the sale, the financing, George offering to do something that needed done on the car and after the sale. Charles, a salesman at Ideal also made me feel very comfortable and confident in idealauto when I had to bring the car back for some work on it. The times I went, George always came and greeted me when I was there. My husband has already recommended them to co-workers. I worked with Charles here to buy my beautiful Volkswagen Tiguan. Car was already in great shape but had a couple issues and not only did they cut me a great deal but they went above and beyond to make sure that any issues were resolved. Be careful when they say they put vehicle through inspection bought mine from out of state and had trans leake and dangerous tire tread. they want nothing to do with u after sale. unfortunate I cant give a 0 star. Best car buying experience period. A little backstory...I’m in the military and live near the D.C. area. I saw a vehicle they posted on autotrader last week and reached out to the team. Bill contacted me shortly after. I thought living 4hrs and 250 miles from the dealership would make things difficult but it did not. The team there put me at ease and didn’t rush me into anything. I drove the distance on a Saturday and Bill met me at the door. We walked in and he introduced the team who are all friendly and professional.Ramin offered me a good value for my trade and we reached a deal quickly. Okay, I really dont know where to begin. I contacted them after seeing that they had 2 Volkswagen Passats. I emailed them late that night, but I had a response very early the next morning. I was greeted with a very professional phone call from William, who was able to answer all of my questions. I came to Raleigh 4 days after initially contacting them, and met the sales reps. Todd took care of me, he is a true character really. I am VERY impressed with the shape that their cars are in. Their lot is full of choices. My car had a low beam headlight out, but that was fixed immediately. I dont think that these guys are money hungry at all. I felt really pressured at other dealerships, but they just kept asking if there was anything I needed. I will 100000% recommend them to anyone, and I will come back for my next car also!
