30 yards of 50/50 soil and compost dumped this week. Some small clumps (smaller than football) around the edges, but thats expected. Next day delivery, friendly folks on the phone. Time will tell how the grass grows!Update April: generally very clean stuff. However there was some broken glass in the mix. Probably found 25 or so pieces slightly larger than a quarter, tho not particularly sharp. No roots, fungus, or weeds tho!Dutch white clover taking to it just fine. Expect no growth issues. Grass is certainly greener than the areas that didnt get any of this stuff.

Glass in topsoil. There was more then this in the pictures but have just been picking it out and throwing it away. Very upset.

The wosrt dirt ever to grow food and I told the lady it was for food so she said I needed 50/50 and it had garbage and glass! Shame on you all! All my plants are dying after growing them in smaller pot as well as purchasing them!

After researching places to buy soil and compost for a vegetable garden, I found this place and Im completely satisfied. I visited on Saturday, August 8th and the lady at the counter was super nice and helpful. We ordered the soil and compost on Saturday and today, Monday, August 10 we received the soil. The delivery was great and they deposited the soil in the exact location we requested, no messes. I wish I knew of this place before. The price was great, better than many other places we looked. We are very satisfied. The only recommendation is to place a sign in an area that it’s easy to direct customers to the store since neither google maps or Waze takes you to the right location.

They charged me for 2 yds of mulch but my Dodge Dakota only holds 1.5 yds. When I came back for a second purchase I brought the issue to their attention but they refused to correct the 1/2 yd error so I went to Atlantic Mulch in Apex. They are a little further away but are much easier to deal with.Went to Atlantic Mulch charged near for 1 1/2 yd and gave me a generous load. 😀

For whatever reason, the pine straw from this company is dark brown - vs the vibrant copper color you get from other companies. I find the dark brown to be quite unattractive, and wont be using this company again. My guess -- the pine straw from this company is very very old. Am very disappointed... Will be going back to Commercial Pine Straw next year!! (Same price as this place.)

A great landscape supply store that also sells chicken feed and supplies, bird seed, organic fertilizers and soil amendments, and annual plants during the summer. They seems to suffer from a bad location and poor marketing. Prices on landscape supplies, like bark mulch, are very good.

POOR QUALITY PINE STRAW - 3 years in a row, very poor quality pine straw. Leaves, branches, old moldy straw mixed in with good straw. Will never again purchase PINE STRAW from these folks.

During the delivery of top soil the driver damaged our driveway. The company has refused to repair it. I have opened a BBB complaint, but they still refuse to repair it. We have purchased a lot of soil from them and this is how they treat their customers when they screw up!
