Storage King took over the facility at Capital Blvd 3 months ago. Now they are raising rates by 20 percent. Gee, thanks! I will do my best to make other arrangements as quickly as possible. FYI, I would not have posted this, but you sent me an email asking for a review.

This place was wonderful, until they were sold to Storage King. They dramatically increased the monthly price, after not fixing the main front gate for weeks leaving our boat exposed and with no protection.

I booked a first floor unit online; however, when I went to Capital Boulevard Storage to pay my rent I was told that a first floor unit was not available and was offered a second floor unit instead. It did not matter to the manager that I had a confirmed reservation. The representative at the online company was very helpful but even he could not get them to honor my reservation. He recommended another storage facility with a first floor unit and a much better rate. I would not recommend this company.

Not great!The manager was very nice and friendly. However, I was told the monthly fee for a 5X5 was $41 instead of the $19 I was quoted online. He said $19 is half off the regular price. I did not see $41 online at all! Also I went back later that afternoon to move in and my access code for the gate did not work. The office was closed so I called the after hours number. The lady tried to help my gain access but it still did not work. This is my first time renting storage space, it did not go as well as I had hoped.

I signed up to get a storage container online. Was told to do so online because the rate was cheaper. Received a call the next day and told that unit doesnt exist. Now I am being charged and cant get in touch with anyone!! I have left messages no call back!! Just give me my money back and get your online game together if thats how you are wanting to sign up new renters!!Just give me my money back.

This is by far the best storage facility I’ve ever been too! So clean and easily assessable! Christina was awesome! She was a joy to work with and she made our move in so much better and stress free! Great asset to Capital Blvd Storage Raleigh NC! Thank you for all you do Christina My wife and I appreciate you!

Very clean and organized.

Just got an email from this place saying I was past due .. Im on auto draft with my credit card. Apparently the business has changed hands and now the business numbers are disconnected. They cant even find my unit in their system.

I am not sure what is going on here. Every time we have visited the storage facility in the past month or so, no one is working in the office. The bathrooms are all either locked or have out of order signs on them. There was a lady here trying to reach someone as she had a red lock on her unit and said she had paid. I set up auto payments in order not to have any issues with payments.

Absolutely the best storage facility....because of the staff!!! The facility is clean and secure, but the people working there is what makes them stand apart from everyone else. Absolutely love them and they are so accommodating! Blessed to know them

Clean facility with friendly staff & great rates

Poor customer service. I have been unable to access my account online since January and have to call to make a payment every month since then. I have made several inquiries to Capital storage about regaining access and have been given the run around and a nasty attitude from a woman who claimed to be the manager when I asked to speak to someone else who would be able to help me regain access. If I would have known I would be going thru all of this headache just to pay the bill before I moved out of Raleigh I would have chose to store my belongings elsewhere.

Nice secure storage at a very fair price. Easy access and nice that they have carts available for moving things to and from the units.

It was okay. I stored my RV there for several months. I moved out one day after the due date and was charged the whole month though. I didnt like that at all. Also there was a miscommunication about renting a unit and they let me out of it so I guess that was good

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! There was a lock in my unit for no reason, my unit was paid! No one in the office to mid-day, so I called the corporate office. They were suppose to call someone to let me in and then call me right back to give me the estimated time!!! No one came and no one called back. I called again and got the same bs story!!! No one called back again.... now I have been waiting there over an hour! I go to the front to leave and the lady was just arriving!!! They wasted a lot of my time and no one ever called me back. It’s hard to catch someone on that office, and hard to get help from corporate!!! DO NOT USE THEM!!!

Initial Rental Price is Great But BEWARE. When I moved my items into a storage unit, I was told by management that monthly prices will not go up much at all. Well, my first increase was 35%!!!!!!!!!!! 35% higher monthly rental fee! What a joke! Avoid!!!!
