Getting into an accident is stressful because of all of the things you need to take care of, but Caliber definitely made repairing my car stress-free. Shane and the whole crew at the Renton Caliber Collision did a great job with my car and I’m so happy! My less-than one year old Civic was rear-ended by an uninsured driver. The whole back-end was twisted and crumpled, and the wreck messed up my lift gate.I picked up the car yesterday and it looks brand new! Everything was replaced and reassembled with skill, and the panels all match the paint perfectly. It looks new from the factory!Shane and the rest of staff were professional and kept me updated every step of the way. I hope to not *need* to use them again, but I will if the need arises

After somebody broke my window to break into my car, I was so bummed. I dreaded needed to make an insurance claim and go through all the hassle to get it fixed. I called with a water leak issue but they couldn’t help me. What they did do was take the time to look up places that help with water leaks and give me suggestions about where to go. Could’ve told me they don’t do that and hang up but he took the time to help. If I ever get in a wreck, I’m going to take my rig to this place.

Extremely hospitable upon arrival. I have had to use their services more than I care to admit. However, I always think of them first for any body repair that I need.

Caliber replaced the front bumper and fixed the end bumper of my vehicle to match the color perfectly. I could not tell the car had previous damages. It took them 7 days including a weekend to get the job done. During the 7 days, I received daily update either by phone or by text. There is no hidden cost. The staff Irene and Emily were excellent. They took care of my claim with the insurance company. I only need to drop off my car and wait. The entire process was virtually painless. I would highly recommend this auto body shop to others.

I was in a pretty severe accident while driving my 2019 Dodge Challenger. After contacting my insurance agent they suggested this location as one of their preferred shops. Ill admit, I was skeptical at first, but Phillip was the estimator overseeing my repairs and he did an incredible job keeping me informed throughout the entire repair process. Their team of technicians did an impeccable job with the repairs and the color match of my paint was perfect! It was like I was never in an accident! USAA suggested this place for repairs after someone hit-and-ran on me which automatically puts them a few points up. They finished the repairs earlier than estimated and with a low deductible. The staff were approachable and easy to interact with. The repairs look great too - its impossible to tell there was even a collision now.

Abra in Renton on S. Main St. is AMAZING! The staff, scheduling, updates just the greatest communication. I am older so have had many cars over the years repaired. I found Abra a few years ago now and I have gone nowhere else ~ their work is impeccable and they stand behind it as well. You cannot go wrong if you are looking for perfection in every aspect!

Someone hit my parked car and caliber collision is a preferred company through USAA. My car was towed to caliber collision for them to complete their estimate USAA deemed my vehicle to be a total loss. USAA advised me that I needed to go to caliber collision and sign paperwork releasing the vehicle to a salvage yard and to gather my personal belongings and also specifically and for me to take my license plates. When I got to caliber collision I informed them of what I was advise through USAA The employee told me that I had absolutely nothing that needed to be signed and that they could not give me my license plates because they were not personalized license plates. Two days later I purchased a new vehicle and even the previous seller removed his plates off of the vehicle, I went to the Washington State Department of motor vehicles to transfer over the title and was advise that I could have used my previously car is license plates at caliber collision given them to me on my new vehicle which would prevent me from having to pay additional fees for a brand new license plates. I told them that caliber collision told me that they could only give me my plates if they were personalized and was advised by the Washington State Department of licensing employee that that is actually false information. Obviously I had no choice but to pay the fee because I did not have my old license plates and I had to transfer the title since I’m driving around in a car with no license plates so my options were taken from me. I called caliber collision and got no sympathy got no apology just got what they’ve been told “they can’t do” when I’m explaining to her what an ACTUAL Washington state employee said whom would be WAY more versed than Caliber Collision. Luckily after one week they still have my vehicle and it’s not at a salvage yard so I am able to go pick up the plates however I’ve already been charged and have had to pay money for no actual reason. Poor Business, won’t use them again and USAA has been advised of this situation as well.

Did repair on my 2020 GMC 2500 HD. I ding my front bumper and the shop took the truck in fast did repairs in 3 days and got me back on road.

Do not use Abra / Caliber Collision!Horrible communication and rude customer service. We had to have damage repaired from an accident and insurance sent us here. Do not let your insurance do that to you. Abra team requested we drop the car off on a Tuesday but we’re flustered when we showed up 20 minutes early stating it wasn’t time for us to be there. Then they took 3 days to even look at the damage, all of that time we could have the vehicle and saved us the hassle of being without a car.After giving us a completion date, they went dark. Stopped returning calls, sending inbound calls to voicemail. After a week past expected completion, they got back to us and said “one more day”. Meanwhile their automated text system told us the car was ready. Finally we got a call back and said parts weren’t in and it’d be another day at most. It’s been two days since that communication.All in all- it’s been awful. No timeline has been stuck to. Every time we call, we are brushed aside to a voicemail. When they do call back it’s full of empty promises. And their automated text system keeps telling us the car is ready for pickup. DO NOT use this place.

I found the staff at Abra to be courteous and thorough. My agent explained my options quite carefully, and equally important, took my concerns into consideration. I was lucky - my repairs came in at much less $ than I expected and took much much less time than I was braced for! My insurance company recommended this provider and Im glad.

The customer service is HORRIBLE! I walked in and receptionist was on the phone. She looked at me in my eyes and continued to talk on the phone. She didnt say ill be right with you, nothing! She then asked me how can she help (while talking on the phone), I told her what I need and she ignored me because she was talking on the phone and trying to help me at the same time. I walked out of there and decided to give my money to someone who actually values my business and time! So would I recommend this business? Absolutely NOT!

Ive had my vehicle repaired at this location 2 time previously and have had exceptional service, this time, not so much.Last week I was rear-ended and asked the insurance company if I could use this shop - they suggested another shop in the area, so I decided to get estimates from both.I stopped in on Wed. morning, there was not a car in the parking lot or a single person in the lobby, so I assumed my estimate would go quickly.The girl at the front looked up as I walked in (note, I did not say greeted me) - I told her Id like to get an estimate and she rudely asked if I needed an estimate or a ballpark figure. I told her it was for an insurance claim and she asked the company. I told her and she said they could schedule an appointment for an estimate for the following Tuesday - mind you, again, there was noone in the lobby, no cars in the parking lot and 4 employees all sitting at desks. I asked if they could just come out and take pictures and email me the estimate later and she said that would take too long - the best they could offer was the following Tuesday for an estimate.It says, plain and clear on their door - no appointment needed.I told her thank you, and walked out the door. I will not be back.The last time I brought my car there was about a year and a half ago - just as they were being bought out by ABRA care care. I experienced great service when they were not owned by ABRA - I cant help but wonder if the change in customer service is due to the change in ownership.

The customer service was great. The agent was attentive, sincere, and polite. They followed up to make sure I was still happy with the work. They did a good. The only reason I dont give a five is because there was some spots that werent necessarily from the accident I was fixing that werent noticed until after the work was done, and I would have liked to have gotten that work done while it was already in the shop.

I called and made appointment to get an estimate done on my vehicle 2 days in advance. When i showed up they had no record of my appt and would not fit me it. Pretty much told me to beat it. Kayla at the front desk is a zero star.

Their work is great. Above all they take effort in finding out how they could save your money. They give advice as if they you are their family member. I would highly recommend this place.

Abra took excellent care of my wifes car. Because we knew we were going to be moving shortly after a notional repair timeline, we accepted a drop-off vice an estimate visit with a repair appointment to follow. Jacob made sure to educate my wife about the repair process, and kept in close contact throughout the whole process. We received the car a day early, and they were very helpful in returning our rental for us.

Stopped there on my day off at about 10AM. Asked for someone to take a quick look at my cars door and give me a rough price estimate. I was told that I had to make an appointment for at least one week later. What a joke. Sorry, but you lost your chance for a customer.

Unfortunately we have had to take multiple vehicles here, but we have found they are the most courteous of body shops we have been to. They go out of the way to to be polite and transparent when you come in. They will help you get the best out of your repairs and help you find the most courteous rental company nearby. Hate to have to go here, but would rather here than other places.

They did an excellent job of repairing my car. My service writer, Philip, was very professional and informative. I ask a lot of questions and he answered all of them to my complete satisfaction. A slight rattle showed up a couple months after the repair. They told me to come by anytime. When I did, they fixed it on the spot.

My car had a huge dent on the drivers side rear quarter panel from an accident I was involved in. They repaired it beautifully. I did notice that my rear quarter panel tint was damaged at some point during the repair, but they took care of it immediately. My car looks as good as new!!

My insurance company recommended this place. When I got my car back the paint and repair was of very poor quality. They did not want to take responsibility for making it right. They blamed it on the parts. And said I could bring it back another day after they had already had it for 2 weeks! This is a mediocre at best place to go and only take it there if you dont care about a high quality repair or the details. I think the worst part is that they didnt take responsibility for the poor workmanship and try to pass it off like I was some sort of chump. I will never go there again and hope others dont make the same mistake. I feel like they were ripping off my insurance company to because the insurance company was paying for it and they dont even get to check on the repairs and they didnt keep to their original estimate either.

Abra is a great place to have your car repaired. I have a 2012 Chevy Volt and was in an accident where the front of my car was smashed. I really like my car and was concerned about whether or not it could be fixed because, being a plug-in hybrid, it might be a difficult or even impossible repair. These cars are different and not that many people have experience working on them. Jaeqob spent time with me going over the damage and assured me that they know what theyre doing and could put it back together. And they did! In fact I was amazed at what a great job they did. Its like a brand new car and I cant even tell that it was in an accident. So if you get in an accident and find yourself in need of car repair, consider it a no-brainer. Take it...or have it towed...to Abra. No doubt about it, youll be glad you did.

All I wanted was estimate on small collision an they told me they cant give estimate because they go by appointment, an next opening is next week an I set one up. Very dissatisfied customer care, with three staff members seating down doing nothing. Loss of business!Update: you have 3 staff members seating doing nothing. What attention do I deserve from that? I was a little nervous taking my car into an auto body shop for the first time. I had heard plenty of scary stories. But every individual at ABRA in Renton was kind, helpful, and willing to explain everything without patronizing me. They worked with my insurance agency so I didnt have to wrestle with the differences in allowable repairs. And because we needed a rental (due to this being our only vehicle) they arranged everything. This all put me at tremendous ease. I hope to never have to bring a car in for body repair again, but if I have to, I am definitely going to be using ABRAs services again.

I last visited ABRA about three years ago to have the driver-side door repaired on one of my cars after getting side-swiped by a delivery van. ABRA did an amazing job and I got the car back looking like new a few days later.Fast forward to today, around 4 p.m. on June 23rd, 2017, this time I visited ABRA to see if they did touch-up paint for a long scratch on my other car. There was a gentleman on duty that helped me out right away to assess the damage, saw how shallow the scratch was, and immediately went back inside to grab some buffing compound. He applied a liberal amount to the scratch and buffed it out. I couldnt even tell there had been a scratch there. I asked him how much I owed him for the service and he said it was free.THIS is the kind of customer service you can expect from ABRA. They did an impeccable job repairing the severe damage to one car, and generously addressed a scratch issue free of charge on the other car. They also worked with my insurance for the first incident so my balance was incredibly low for the repair work they did.

Ive had my car taken here twice: the first visit was after was broken into for a window repair and the second was for body/suspension damage to my Jeep after a wreck. Everyone here is very friendly, theyre informative and provide updates throughout the entire repair process, and my vehicle is always returned in perfect condition on the inside and out.Highly recommend anyone who is looking for a shop in the Renton area to stop by ABRA!

From the front desk women (Emily) to my advisors (Phillip & Jacob) I was treated with respect and excellent customer service. I read the reviews and thought twice about coming here. I also took my past two cars the the locations that used to be in this lot and I regret wasting my time coming to this new place.If you dont plan on using your insurance, dont plan on getting a quote anytime soon. I need my bumper replaced for the smallest bit of damage, and I was told I have to wait a week to come back in and get an estimate.Not even told I can wait at all, its replacing a bumper, no painting or anything extra needing to be done. You could technically do this quote without seeing my car at all. I would have been willing to wait a few hours, or a day, but a week to just get a quote that would take 5 minutes? I could only imagine how long it takes them to replace a bumper...Now I know to trust the rating and the reviews!

My husband was rear ended....the guy who hit him has safco and Safeco asked us to go here for a estimate. Safeco and the front door of the business say...no appointment necessary...so we go in. There is no one in the parking lot but us and no one in the reception area waiting. We ask for a estimate. The receptionist says they do not do them on the spot? I asked how long until someone would be able to look at it. (Considering there is no one in the lobby or parking lot I am thinking max 45 min...maybe someone is on a lunch break?). How is next week? Seriously...we need a appointment then....not like the door says? We end up scheduling the repairs for several weeks away because of prior commitments. We go at the scheduled time and the receptionist tried telling us our appointment was the week prior..no it is today...when you asked about last Monday we told you we couldnt do that money so we settled on this one. So?? No...we have to reschedule. Wow just wow. Mind you...again..No one is there ...no line of customers or people waiting. If the receptionist spent half as much energy trying to take care of guests as she did filing her nails (she was literally doing this while we spoke) maybe the company would have had my business

Stay away from this shop.I was sent to this shop by Safeco insurance for estimate after my car got rear ended.The guy only took a brief look at the damage and finished his assessment.The estimate they provided was way too low.I took my car a another more reputable body shop in the same area and let them do another estimate and turns out there were a lot of damages were missed from the first estimate.They dont care about fully repair your vehicle.They only care about saving as much money as possible for Safeco and themselves.Stay way if you want your car properly repaired.
