Watch out for Luis he is person just interested on money. He gave me a thousand excuses and never fix my truck. He gave me truck and didnt fix. Please watch out for this guy complete dishonest. I had the worst experience with situation. He direspected me calling me mentaly ill . I was upset cause once i paid him he told me there was something else wrong when that was the reason i took it there. I trusted this guy and he just gave me too many lies about my truck being ready when he didnt even worked on it .

My car needed a new engine and I was able to order my own part and I made sure where I brought my engine from was great plus they rebuilt my engine and checked my engine before shipping. Once we got that engine shipped to the shop the manager and his team did a great job with working with me and putting my engine in my car. I called after getting a recommendation from my mechanic at the tire store. I had a question about servicing my transmission after 120K miles. Lewis was able to give me advice and even gave me a coupon for regular service. They were do e in reasonable time and answered additional car questions I had. They enjoy talking cars and enjoy servicing transmissions. Good service. Reliable and trustworthy.

Overall I did not have a great experience. Had my jeep over 2 weeks. I brought my Jeep in because it needed the rear main seal leak fixed. The owner told me that was a different part needed fix. I’m not a mechanic so I took his word for it. He sent my vehicle Next-door to AJ Automotive which I did not authorize it and was not comfortable with because I had bad experience with them in the past. But unfortunately I didn’t get to make that decision because I didn’t know until after A J automotive called me to say my vehicle was ready. After fixing the part still have the same oil leak. Took it back to Louis and he said it was the rear main seal and oil pan which is why I took it there in the first place. Gave it a two star instead of a 1 because Luis did not charge me for the time so it could have been a lot worse.

Luis was great. My car runs smooth like butter. They completely rebuilt my transmission and put quality parts back in. They are great mechanics but more so artists of the transmission.

I took my car in for diagnosis. They took over a week and came up with 3 different diagnosis during that time. He was still unable to fix the car. Lewis makes a lot of promises, but it seems like it was just a con job from the beginning. I do not recommend this shop.

I just want to say that Eagle Trasmission is a 10 star organization. I am a women that went to them for help with car. They were fabulous and did not try to rip me off because of being a women so I have the up most respect for them. In my opinion they are the most honest auto repair shop around. They do not even deserve one star. Worst experience ever. My husbands transmission was under warranty from when this company replaced it. Well the car was having issues so we took it to our normal mechanic and they let us know right away it was transmission do of course we took it back to Eagle since its still under warranty. They had our car for over a month never calling us to let us know what was going on. My husband had to call them every couple of days to see what was going on due to them giving him the run around by saying it will be ready by Friday then we call not ready or it will be ready by Monday and same thing. Finally after a month of having it we call one afternoon and they tell us it will be ready that day and then proceed to tell us how we wont be charged since they kept it so long but we already knew this since it was still under warranty. We pick it up and it was running fine and parked it at home. Well three days later the car wont even start. Now nothing else was wrong with the vehicle until we took it to them. Now all of a sudden when the key is out of the ignition its making a strange noise and when jumped the horn goes off. My husband calls them to fix this and they said they will send their tow truck over to get the vehicle. Did they do this? Nope of course not. Another way to screw over a customer. We will never do business with them again or recommend them to anyone. I wouldnt even recommend them to my worst enemy. Hopefully our mechanic can fix whatever they messed up. Hope this helps someone else from being screwed over.

Gerardo was sooo helpful! I was driving from California to Georgia and my transmission gave out here in Dallas. I was so scared and nervous but Gerardo assured me that he could fix it all up for me and get me back on the road quickly.He was very knowledgeable about the transmission and was able to find the cause of the issue within minutes. He also helped me understand my car even better which to a girl alone, in her 20s is priceless. To actually feel like youre not being taken advantage of at the mechanics. My dad really appreciated it.He was also very willing to work longer hours to help me meet my deadlines and arrive in Georgia on time and safely. Definitely recommend this shop.

It took a little more time than i thought to get the 2500.00 for repairs. But then i brought my car home. In just over 24 hrs it wouldnt start. My car has sat in the driveway for over a week and eagle hasnt done a thing. They will be responsible for there work only if you pay for repairs right away

I thought my transmission was going out and so I took my car to Eagle Transmission in Richardson and had the guys there take a look at it And come to find out it was my mass air flow sensor. So they replaced it and now my car runs great. I WOULD MOST DEFINITELY RECOMMEND EAGLE TO ANYONE . THANKS EAGLE

I have a Ford Fusion 2013. The car was having problems taking off and did not go above 40 mph. I took it to the dealership and they where going to charge me $250 for diagnostic. Not only that but I had to leave the car there and it would be 3-4 days before I got my car back. I took it to eagle transmission and they checked my car in less than 1 hour my car was up and running. The best thing they had amazing customer service. Highly recommend this place 😊😊😊😊

I took my GMC Envoy in a couple months ago. I had major transmission problems. They had to rebuild it. After calling numerous of other transmission shops, the price was beyond right for the transmission repair! Not only were they professional, courteous, and understanding, but they also go out of there way to build the friendship. I can only say that I made the right choice. These guys are solid. Fair and very experienced. I HIGHLY recommend them.

Eagle Transmission is the place to go!!!! I took my car there about three weeks ago on a Friday to get it checked out and they told me I needed my transmission rebuilt. So I decided to leave it and get it fixed. I called that following Monday to see if they had found the problem. Gerardo said Yes, we found the problem! And we should be pulling the transmission and getting it rebuilt as soon as possible. Give us a call in a couple of days to see where we are with your car. Thanks. I called back on Wednesday morning, which was a couple of days for me. Gerardo had said that my car was ready to pick up. I couldnt believe it!! I picked my car up and it drove like new again and the price was very reasonable. Thanks to Eagle Transmission and there crew. I would recommend anybody that needs a transmission rebuilt to the Eagle!!!!!

I had such a great experience here, Id recommend this place to everyone. I took my nissan there and my warranty had just expired so I was concerned for the price. But Gerardo told me he would see what he could do and to my surprise they honored the warranty. They helped me out so much and saved me lots of money, not like other places that try to make money off you. I was worried at first because the thought of rebuilding a transmission is a bit daunting since I always hear the horror stories about the shops people go to. That does not apply to Eagle Transmission.They genuinely care about taking care of you, and getting your vehicle back in the road as soon as possible. You can rest assured that Eagle Transmission will take care of you, and your car. I genuinely had a good experience, and I will return if I ever have any other transmission issues.

Went in for a transmission flush on my 2012 Nissan Sentra. Job was done within the same day. Manager Lewis and his team did a great job. Thank you Egale Transmission for taking good car in my baby.

Went here to get my transmission fixed and they did fine on the repairs. However, when I was taking with David there about the costs of repairs prior to the initial inspection (which cost about $500), I was wondering what the final cost might be and asked if it might get up to $3,000. He replied that $3,000 seems kinda high. After the inspection, my quote for repairs was $2,964. Sorry but that is a straight up lie in his part. $36 difference is equivalent in the scheme of things when youre taking about $3,000. I wouldnt trust them again if I get anything repaired.

I recently came from overseas and picked up my car from the VPC. It was driving very differently than I remember so I went to one shop and they told me they couldnt figure out the problem. So I came to Eagle and the figured out the problem in two seconds and fixed it. They are very knowledgeable and I would suggest them anytime.

I had a problem with my transmission slipping I called and spoke to Gerardo. He took very good care of me, and kept me informed of every step of the way. My vehicle was fixed in four days and the price that was quoted to me was the same when it came time to pick up my vehicle I highly recommend Eagle Transmission!

I went in on Monday, and talked to Lewis. I told him that I had a transmission mount bolt thread that is stripped inside the transmission and they checked it out. Then, the mechanic said, that we have to take out the whole entire transmission and I was like “Are you kidding me?”. Next, he told Lewis about everything and he gave me a price quote that’s almost over $1000 just to take out everything and get to the damaged transmission mount bolt thread hole smh. After, I left I went to this shop called The Transmission Shop located off of N Central Expressway in Plano TX. I went there and asked them can they fix the transmission bolt thread that is stripped and they said yes, they did it for free. Do not come to this place, they will make bad excuses that don’t make any sense.

Mr. Gerardo Nuno was very nice and supported me when I was going through stuff with my Ford Escape. Mr. Gerardo stayed in touch with me, he let me know everything they were doing to fix the problem that needed to be repaired at Eagle Transmission.I recommend my friends and co-workers here. They treat you well and work until everything is done and they stand by their words.

Please do yourself a favor. Do not take your car to this place. $4000 mistake that I made by taking my car to this place to get transmission work done. Worst company I have ever dealt with. They tell you one thing to get you to take your car there once they have your car the mechanic Geraldo lies and dodges your call and charges a lot money. There warranty is a joke. Avoid in every possible way.

Ill be completely honest. I thought I was gonna save money when they advertised a free diagnosis. I took my car from the Dodge dealership and brought it here. They did the diagnosis and told us that they recommend for them to pull the transmission and tell us what parts need replacing. The figure we received maybe $1500. I received a call saying they needed to replace and rebuild costing $3300., where did they get that figure from. We dont have this money. Everything that was being explained didnt add up. We were thankful that we have a friend that recommended a shop in Sachse where we are currently towing our truck now. Charging us 1/2 the cost if that. Do you know how much time, and money we have wasted so far? Both my husband and I had to take off work just to come up here and square this away. Poor souls that have no money and are on a budget that get the news we were told this past Saturday.First things first before anyone takes your Transmission apart get a few quotes, if your gutt tells you it doesnt add up, its probably true.Do not do anything without a firm price, last case scenario. Last bit not least, do not agree to have anyone pull your transmission unless you are prepared to pay the true cost of the full repair.I still had to walk away owing money to Eagle Transmission.I firmly advise you stay away from these franchises. This is the truth, I dont want anyone to have to endure what we have been through.PS. There is a walgreens around the corner from Eagles here in Richardson, while standing in line waiting on the tow truck, a gentleman was in line talking about transmissions, I asked him what was going on, he told me his friend had some repair work done at another Eagle transmission and is having to go back to have the same problem fixed. I told him our situation and he want surprised. Really? What does that say.

Post initial review edit: Eagle Transmission paid attention to my review and contacted me a few months later to see if they can make things right. What follows is my experience a few months after their initial job.Gerardo took the review to heart and it seems the whole business did as well when they cold called me after the feedback. They are refining their lines of communications, staffing and he offered to help diagnose and repair a transmission noise that developed recently.I was invited to come in, so I did. Gerardo introduced me to one of their long-time transmission builders, Dave, and it seems he knows them well. Also, showing me around the shop and talking about their ethics.Giving a small tour may not seem like a lot, but to the curious uninformed, or gearhead, its a warming experience. The follow-up was welcoming, and does solidify how much they do care not only about their reputation, but their customers.Initial review:I had a great feeling and level of expectation of this place, but I ended up with mixed ones in the end. Upon pulling up, I noticed they were packed and had quite a few cars outside. A good sign of booming business for Eagle Transmission, but this proved to be a double-edge sword which Ill explain later.Gerardo, my main contact, was my go-to person when I explained I was having trouble staying in and going into gear in my 03 Civic Si. He was concise, prompt and pretty professional. After detailing how I personally bled the clutch lines and replaced both master and slave cylinders, it was likely a clutch/pressure plate issue since it persisted. I agreed to them doing the labor of swapping in a whole new clutch kit.I dropped my car off on a Wednesday, brought them an overnighted new clutch kit Thursday morning, and they got started (likely) Saturday morning, despite him telling me they would get to work on Friday. One day, no big deal. Its a 7-hour job, so it should take no more than maybe 2 days max, right? Apparently they were behind and low on technicians as a reason for the Friday delay. He called me to update Saturday evening they have the clutch kit out the car, but recommended having the flywheel resurfaced. It was optional, and I figured it wouldnt hurt since everything was out already. And it should be ready Monday. They started late because of being short-handed on techs once again.Monday swings around, no update, I could call, but I did tell them to take their time and didnt want to be overbearing. Perhaps a small update would be nice. I get the feeling they are understaffed, and definitely need a communication system in place. I finally pick it up Tuesday fresh with a new clutch, pressure plate, and resurfaced flywheel (which was extra).After driving my car for few weeks, I noticed that cruise control isnt working, which it was before I brought it to them. Gerardo said to bring it in and should be a quick fix. I go in there and another guy told me the car will have to be left there all day to diagnose the issue instead.I recall an adjustment about the clutch pedal switch, and ended up it repairing it myself in a minute.Leaving a car there longer than expected definitely leaves room for improvement. Aside from speediness, the real testaments of a repair shop are the quality of the job and only time will prove how complete it will be.If youre looking for a transmission shop thats more personalized, and honestly quicker, I would look elsewhere. My advice to this location would to be more accurate with the timelines, projections, and small updates along the way definitely solidify a better reputation.

When I called to get a quote, the guy on the phone barely listened and started quoting really expensive prices in comparison with other local transmission shops. He is also tops me that they wouldnt use the brand new part I had just bought from the dealership and said I should take it back, let them order it then purchase the part from them. Nah..I found a shop that put my part in and for less $ and hassle than eagle transmission.
