I wanted to thank Erica for her knowledge, care and support. I came in to Run On as a new runner with foot pain. She looked at my feet and my poor choice of running shoes, then gave me a couple great choices for training for my first 5k. The Brooks were a game changer! Thank you Erica for keeping my feet happy so I can do fun things.

Just bought a pair of the Hoka Clifton 7. Great price. The customer service was excellent. The service person did a great job to understand my gait, my foot size and my need based on my current running routine. He gave some great recommendations based on his assessment. Wasnt especially impressed. I made a bit of a drive to find a small selection of shoes with prices over $100. Was looking for grippy flexible shoes with gum soles, the guy didnt seem to know what I was talking about. For someone without alot of disposable income like me this place is a waste of time. U want some pricey colorful sneakers and socks to match your jogging pants and under armor shirts this is the place for you!

Staff was friendly, and greeted us immediately upon entry. Unfortunately they didnt have either item that they showed online that they had instock so it was a wasted trip. Thats generally why I shop online, I dont like driving around and wasting time.

Called to see if they had Brooks Beasts in stock in my size. They did and I went down to pick them up. Had plenty of knowledge, friendly and an attractive store! Ill check them out again when I need any more gear.

The store is clean and well stocked. My main complaint is the lack of range in sizes when it comes to athletic clothing. They also carry a limited set of brands when it comes to athletic wear. That wouldnt be a problem if there was an adequate supply of sizes but there is not. The supply of shoes is ample though. I wish they carried larger sizes for women with bigger feet.

This is the nicest shoe store I ever shopped at. Very safe -- Everyone wears a mask and they offer outdoor fittings if you want to be extra safe. They take good care to find you the best shoe by measuring your feet, observing you walk, listening to your preferences. Best part of all is their adorable mascot who was so sweet ! Thank you for a great experience !

My first time going into the store Run On 1/23/21. Soon as I walked in I was greeted by Zack, he proceeded to ask me questions, measuring my feet, giving me great advice to my foot problem and gave me great recommendations of what type of shoe I needed. The shoe that I needed was not available in the store for my size, but he was able to locate a store near by and had them hold them for me. Zack went above and beyond with great customer service, care, and understanding. Best of all I love my shoes !!!

Erica was great! This was my first experience buying high end running shoes. She analyzed the way I walk and recommended a shoe for my foot and for what I planned to use them for. I enjoyed the individualized customer service that I received. She showed me how to tie runners knots and then made sure I got it before I left. Will definitely return.

Per usual, RunOn! is a great store with superb customer service. Took my 13 yo daughter in to get a pair of running shoes. The staff treated her with as much kindness and professionalism as they would a seasoned runner. They looked at my daughters gate, checked out her degree of pronation and brought out 3 different shoes either of which wouldve worked. Walked out with a new pair of shoes and 3 pairs of quality socks for under 200.00. My daughter even noticed saying later, Man, they were so nice. Good to know nothings changed over the years at RunOn!

Not the best customer service. Bought some shoes, wore them a couple times to find out they were too big. Then when I tried to return it they wouldn’t take it. Even though I had just bought it. They ended giving me store credit which is useless because I don’t plan on shopping here again.

Helpful staff and great prices (the same or better than online)

This was my first and will be the last time at this store. The shoes were great and the stock seems great, but the staff is disorganized, rude and discriminatory. My wife and I came inside the store. We observed a conversation between a staff member and a customer and the staff was rude and dismissive the entire time. We decided to ignore it. We waited around for help and they would see us straight in the eyes and ignore us. It wasn’t until another customer told someone that we had been waiting for a long time. We love brooks shoes and we were excited that they had what we were looking for, but the terrible experience made us leave and we will not return.

Had a great experience and service in this store. Wanted to grab some shoes and talk through different types with the staff and they were great. Will definitely be my new go-to store for my running needs.

My first time in a Run On store. I would have liked it better if I could have been helped by the sales staff.It was not overly busy, I stood there for 15 minutes with a pair of shoes in my hands patiently waiting and was never asked if I could be helped.They were however spending a lot of nice quality 1 on 1 time with the specific person they were helping but could have easily multi tasked and let me try on shoes like any other shoe store typically does.I will probably go back at a less busy time but it really wasnt that busy.

Horrible experience today. Didnt have any of the Hoka selections and hardly any color choices. I was told I was a smaller size at a 6 even though I have had Hokas before and know Im a 7. The 6s I couldnt even lace up! There wasnt enough staff there as one girl had to help multiple people at once. She didnt even get to check my last shoe selection and I didnt have time to wait so just told her I had to leave when she was talking to another customer. I will not go to this location again. The website is inaccurate in saying what selection of Hoka shoes they have.

Best place around to get quality running shoes to fit your specific needs. Am bothered by Plantar Fasciitis and my standard Kohls bargain New Balance shoes just werent doing it. Had foot measured and gait observed to narrow what shoes would work best for me. After trying a selection of the recommended ones on, chose Hoka One One Gaviota 2s with CurRex Run Pro inserts. What a difference! My feet are very happy, and so is my wallet - their prices are the same as you find online. Highly recommend the staff and the store. Wont be buying my running shoes anywhere else from now on.

Very helpful staff. After getting my feet measured, the manager was able to suggest several brands, let me walk around to try them, and was very knowledgeable about what is different between all the shoes she recommended (and all the types of socks -- ask about the wool socks if you go). I wound up choosing a 2018 shoe that was on sale because the 2019 shoes had just come in. Score!

Very helpful staff. Both my wife and I came here to get fitted for running shoes and they did a great job of fitting us with quality shoes that relieved all our running pains. Their prices are also in line with what’s available on amazon or at other stores which is pleasantly surprising since they’re usually much higher at running stores.

Personally, I have never written a review on Google for a store before. However, my experience here was exceptional – and not in a good way. To clarify, I did some Internet sleuthing before coming in, and this store generally has good reviews, but that does not bear out in my experience. I came to this store with the intention of buying several pairs of shoes. The salesperson who assisted me however, was quite condescending. Out of the entire store of running shoes, she only wanted to show me 2 pairs, saying “these are the shoes on sale.” It felt as if I was being judged based on my appearance as to how much I could pay. Eventually, I decided on a pair of shoes. Again, I had wanted to come back and get more, but the after sales experience has soured me on the entire store.The initial pair of shoes that I picked out was accidentally picked up by another customer. The sales staff made no effort to contact/stop this person (they could have called, as your telephone number is printed on your receipt.) The store staff replaced the initial pair of shoes with a pair that was the wrong size. I didn’t discover this until I returned home. So, I had to go back to the store to get the right size. But, there’s more. The next morning, when I got up to run, I discovered that the right shoe was smaller than left. I measured. So, I returned them. I tried to tell salesperson there what was wrong, and she did not even acknowledge what I had said. Instead, I ended up with a shoe that is half a size larger than I normally wear. I tried to get some inserts to compensate, and again – the automatic response was based around my perceived ability to pay. The woman in question said that it would be an additional $60 to get a pair of inserts or the shoes. And, for me, I would have been willing to pay – but again, the tone of voice was condescending and demeaning. In short, this store has lost a good source of income.

These people are so knowledgeable!! I went in last year to get a pair of shoes, I explained my work life to then and they fitted me with a pair of shoes that worked out great. I just got my second pair from them and I can already feel the relief. I plan on getting all my work shoes from them.

All of the employees here are super helpful and very informative. Trying to get back into running after being off of it for a couple of years, I needed some help selecting shoes. These guys were awesome and very patient. This is a store for runners and joggers, staffed by people very passionate about the sport. Any negative reviews on here i suspect are from people that dont know what they want or are more concerned about looks.

They are friendly and wife and I enjoy the personal attention received. They fitted her correctly and we also like the fact they have really good running shoes you normally don’t see at finish line or footlocker.

Went to the discount table marked $30 like new and picked up a pair of running shoes. It rang up at the register at $70. When I told the clerk there had been a mistake she informed my that only a certain area of the discount table had $30 shoes and I had picked a pair that did not qualify. Guys, please, the old bait and switch game has been long over played. Mark your merchandise fairly and clearly. Im back to Lukes Locker - Ill pay top dollar, but at least theyll be no surprises at check out.

Went looking for a new pair of shoes, first timer in the store and it wasnt crazy busy but the staff doesnt seem to care or want to help you. I stood there for 20m looking at shoes and not one person acknowledged me. I had already knew what I wanted but you cant tell who works there or not everyone just stares at you while they sit on the floor on their phone while waiting for the other potential customer to stop running the treadmill. Poor customer service, youre better off going to REI down the street!

This is the second time I have been in this store and they have the worst customer service. I walked in and no one greeted me and it was a while before someone acknowledged me. I asked for a neutral shoe on sale and they pointed me in the direction. They did not even assist me helping me to try them on. I will never use his store again. Fantastic experience! I am overweight and have lost about 70 pounds on my own but wanted to add in some exercise and decided to start the couch to 5k program. I needed a good pair of shoes and decided to visit this store.I was afraid to go in, being very obviously an unfit person, but I shouldnt have worried- as soon as I went inside, a nice lady named Ashley asked if I needed help. She helped me through the whole process and was incredibly sweet and helpful and made the experience very positive. I got a good price on a really nice pair of shoes and she didnt push anything on me at all. She even gave me a pair of socks to take home and try out!If you are brand new to running, dont be intimidated- this store is absolutely great and I highly recommend it!

Wife and I needed new running shoes. The associate assessed our strides and sizes and pointed us to the appropriate options. He was very patient and helpful even though it was a holiday (July 4th) when others might resent working. On top of this, the pricing was comparable to online options ($120 compared to $115 on Amazon), which I was happy to pay to support personal service and local business. I recommend shopping here.

I bought a pair of Brooks Beast running shoes and I have a wide foot that overpronates, and almost flat. The Preston location didnt have it so I was directed to the Richardson store which is down the street from UTD. The young lady was awesome. I got what I needed and left. The shoes were $150.00. Try them out if you need a good pair of shoes. Have a great day everyone!

After my husband and I decided we wanted to try to get into running, we went to Run On looking for new shoes. The man that helped us was super knowledgeable and spent the time to precisely evaluate our strides, balance, etc. to make sure we got the best shoe with the proper support. Went for a jog and my legs werent even sore afterwards like I was used to! He was spot-on with the show recommendation!

People are very helpful. Theyll let you know what kind of shoe will be most effective for your run. They dont carry a lot of wide sizes though.

You have to wait for sales associates to get shoes for you to try them on. If there are 2 associates and you are the 3rd customer, expect a 10+ minute wait. They did not even acknowledge my existence while I was standing there like a goomba.

We went here the other day after the Preston/Forest Run On didnt have the shoes I wanted. From the moment we walked in, there was a very weird vibe in the store. The employees all just looked at us and didnt really say anything, to the point where I didnt know who actually worked there or not. One of the ladies got the shoes that were on hold for me and while I tried them on, the female employees stood near me gossiping about a conflict that had happened in the store in an unappealing way. My husband asked where the sale shoes were, and other than telling him where the sale tables were, no one helped him at all. Then when we went to check out, the register area was congested and very unclear of where people should be waiting in line. The employees clearly saw this and did nothing to help the situation. It felt like a very snooty environment and neither of us left feeling good about the experience. We will continue to shop at the Preston location where we feel welcomed and the employees are helpful and polite.

Im a casual runner, running 20 miles per week and needed a new pair of shoes. I was recommended a shoe on sale and that it was the best one for me. I tursted them since its a running shoe store and my foot felt so uncomftable. I thought I just needed to put some miles on them to break them in. 3 weeks in and 60+miles in i sprined my ankle due to the shoe. im a nursing student and somethig felt off but I left it as a sprained ankle, the pain would not let me sleep so i went to the hospital. I was told i had a fracture. now i cant run for a whole month.
