We have been dealing with on-going issues with our solar powered sliding gate for a while now. Called Carroll at 7.30 in the morning, as I was leaving a message he called back. Thats quick service. He was at the house by 10am, diagnosed the issue with the spring, and had a fix in place by 5pm. If you know anything about repairing old garage doors in the city, thats faster than Mike in Fast Times. He was very courteous, close to his estimate and is a hard to find expert. Weve used Garage Door Repair Richardson twice. The first time, a cable on our garage door broke. They came out the same day and fixed it. They did a good job and were courteous and professional. The second time, the garage door wouldnt close for some reason. Couldnt figure out why. Of course when the technician came out, the door had started working again. He very kindly didnt charge us for the visit.

Tomas was extremely informative and professional. He explained everything that needed to be done to repair the current unit. He also went over the total cost to replace unit with a new one. Upon discussing repair with my don I would prefer to have Tomas come back and repair unit if my son wishes to.

They came out within 40 minutes to look at my garage door. The opener needed to be replaced. The options were explained very well to me. Installation and explanation of new opener were done very well. The price was higher than some others, but feel for the quality of work and warranty it is worth it. Would call them back again.

Id like to thank Richardson for the great service with our garage door. He was very responsive, took our call on New Years day, and came the next morning. He not only repaired the broken spring (the job we called him for), but also cleaned the sensors, tightened screws and carried out other maintenance stuff that we never paid attention to. My garage door failed bigly this morning as I left for work. Since it was stuck open, I couldnt leave until it was repaired. I called 4 companies but only Garage Door Repair Richardson responded. They said someone would be there between 10 and 11. He arrived at 10:15. He fixed the jam and then balanced the door. He lubed all the joints and wheels and was finished by 11. I called to arrange an appointment, the person who answered my phone call was able to diagnose the problem on the phone and let me know its probably a sensor misalignment issue. I wiggled the sensor around a bit and it actually worked. I truly appreciate their honesty, these are the kind of people I like to work with! Even though they did not earn the service fee they would have charged if they come out this time, they have certainly earned a loyal customer whom would not hesitate to call them next time :-)

One of my springs broke down. Had to call a repair shop in the weekend.Tried half a dozen shops.
