As others have noted, the store needs more cashiers AND self-checkout registers. Also the floral department needs to get with it and empty the smelly rancid water in the flower buckets. Wash and sanitize the buckets and add a few drops of bleach to the fresh water. This needs to be a regular daily chore because the bacteria in that water ensures the flowers wont last very long in the customers home. Plus, its just gross smelling it in your car, and among your groceries no less.
Much better than tom thumb on preston. Very friendly staff
There is NEVER anything in stock. The staff will ignore you, even at the register. Whatever food they do have is about to expire. I wonder if this store is closing, if so, it has been for the last 2 years. This is an issue with this store, the one 3 miles away is just fine. Save yourself a trip and go to Tom Thumb up the street.
Really used to love this store. Started shopping here a couple of years ago after being disappointed by a Kroger thats a little bit closer to me. I was an early adopter for curbside pickup, starting about 6 months before the pandemic. But the quality of service and packing for curbside pickup orders has dropped precipitously over the last 6 months. From eggs and expensive chocolates being packed in bags with heavy items to inexplicable wait times upon arrival, I think Ill switch my grocery stores again.
This Kroger seems to always be understaffed. Usually only one line open and always long lines. Staff could be more friendly and work a little harder rather than having conversations with each other while we bag our own groceries. Prices seem to never be marked correctly on the shelf. Just today, I came home to notice I paid prices higher than marked on the shelf for a couple items (yes, even after putting in my kroger number). My fault for not catching before leaving, but Im not surprised anymore. Hopefully with time, this all will improve.
I have shopped at this Kroger for years and I have usually had good experiences. I realize we are just recovering from the pandemic, but today There was one late open (lane one) as customer piled up in line with no one helping the clerk to bag the groceries. I loaded my groceries on the belt just in time to see two other lanes open and all of the people (at least 5 customers) who were in line behind me check out quickly and leave. This is because the clerks helping them had a person helping to bag the groceries. They all left the store, meanwhile I proceeded to bag my own with the help of the clerk. I suggested to the person who looked like a manager that the clerk who helped me also needed help bagging groceries. Will have to think twice before I return to this store.
Food selection is always good, and prices are pretty good, but that is with any Kroger I’ve been to regardless of location. However, the employees here could be a little nicer and a bit more helpful. I don’t need you to ask me how my day is going, because I’m sure you don’t care and I am not interested in telling you. However, while I AM BAGGING MY OWN WEEKS WORTH OF GROCERIES, rather than you walking away to talk to a coworker, while there are other people waiting behind me, a little help would be appreciated.
Only one check out open and the employee was rude and unpleasant. All the bag stations in the produce were empty. Someone alert the produce manager. The employees seemed miserable. I acknowledged 3 employees and not one acknowledged me back they just evil starred. Its very uncomfortable shopping in that kind of environment.
Everyone who I saw working there was EXTREMELY rude. Will NOT ever be going back.
Horrible costumer service !! Blonde older cashier with glasses was rude as hell, she refused to scan my Kroger card cause I “would save too much” refusing to scan my coupons even tho they match 100% . The fact that she refused to scan my Kroger card is unacceptable, I walked away never coming back. Horrible
I love this store! Good Location, fast service, clean place to shop. Paula at the service desk is great! Give her a raise! Pharmacy is fast and friendly. I only shop here!
We switched to doing grocery pickup here now that orders over $35 have no fee, and are SO happy we did! Mark in grocery pickup is a 11/10 employee. SO hard-working, kind, and helpful. If the produce and products hasn’t already sold the switch from Walmart to us, he would have.
Anthony at the self checkout is more worried about being loss prevention than helping customers with issues during self checkout 🤔
Had to get diet coke 20 packs for my parents
Couldn’t get her name but whom ever the white floor manger was very rude to her employee, I asked if there was any wood available and asks around and when he asks the manager she replies very rudely and loud “no we don’t have any wood!” If she can’t keep herself together through times like this she needs to find another career path.
I went to pick up my prescription, it didn’t take long so yay. Also Denise helped me search for all the otc vitamins I needed and I was done within minutes instead of taking an hour searching for everything by myself. Thank you Denise! Will definitely go back to this Kroger for prescriptions and vitamins.
I tried to buy the stickers of my car and the service personnel asked me for the magnificent one, when only the inspection of the car is needed, and the transport ticket
Beth was some of the best experiences Ive had in a while. Her customer service and quickness made the transaction amazing. If you go here look for Beth she will be everything you can expect.
So I dont know who thought it would be a good idea to announce loudly over the overcom for a whole 30 seconds that ALL ASSOCIATES NEED TO BE WEARING THEIR NAME BADGES over and over but OWWWW!! No! That is unacceptable for customers to hear that and now I have a headache. Thank you worlds loudest voice. Spot check employees quietly next time.
The cashier was so nice 🙂 and friendly.
Extremely disappointing produce section at this location.
Great store but they are terrible at keeping their bathrooms clean.
I was dreading going grocery shopping, but I really wanted to purchase bacon. I went in here expecting the worse, but boy was I wrong. Fully stocked, clean and organized. A very nice experience compared to other huge chains. Thank you Kroger! Stay safe!
2 checkouts open at 5 pm
10/10My total was ~$62 but then I scanned my Kroger card and used some of the app coupons and my total came down to $44No matter if I’m dressed my best or doing a late night grocery shopping in my pajamas I always feel like I can shop calmly here. The shorter lady with short black hair and glasses that usually works at self check out is the best !Always well stocked on the items I need, great deals !I’ve gone to this Kroger since I was a child ! Love it !
The store itself isnt anything special, just a normal grocery store, nothing fancy, easy to navigate. Some of the employees are really friendly here, and the store has stayed well stocked through the pandemic. I have gradually drifted more from Walmart to Kroger for most of my groceries, because Id rather spend that time in Kroger than Walmart any day.
Close to my neighborhood. Staff are quick, friendly, and courteous. Employees are happy to help. Its clean, organized & I like that they have a variety of everything. Regular, diet, healthy..etc. always happy to go there! 👍
The store is brim full with customers in masks on Christmas Eve. But as I came in, two employees had their masks under their noses, as if 300 people weren’t dying a day in Texas.
I went into this store and was treated so terrible. I’ve never been treated so bad by an employee before. I needed to ask an employee named Joshua a question. He purposely ignored me. I assumed he was deaf at first because I was close enough for him to hear me. Eventually, he acknowledged me as said “you don’t talk to me” the employee next to him is working on the phone. He said “I can ask the employee next to him for help” who was on the phone for help. He then went to go on and say “are you crazy”? You don’t ask no random person for help.” Mind you he had on his Kroger apron and his name tag. When I told him I was going to call corporate on him for his rudeness he said, “that’s fine, you want my name and my number too”. He was incredibly hostile and rude and the managers didn’t make a big deal out of how he treated me. Actually they continued to go into his defense and say he is always so calm. Well he wasn’t calm towards me.
This location has never been wonderful and the complaints are pretty accurate. To be fair, its far from the worst grocery store Ive ever been to and the prices are pretty reasonable, but more recently Ive been confronted by PANHANDLERS INSIDE THE STORE, some with baskets full of groceries who relentlessly pressured me to pay for their food. One woman went as far as trying to get me to pay for multiple prime cuts of meat and other high priced items that I cant even afford for myself! The problems at this store seem to be getting way out of hand so Im probably going look for a more pleasant place to shop.
I’ve been here a lot and it’s huge. First the good:1. Good deli choice with Boar’s Head Meats and Kroger’s brand both excellent. Neither are cheap but everyday they have specials. If your indecisive, choose the week’s cold-cut selection from the meats and cheeses on sale2. Plenty of low cost and fresh flowers. Don’t just check their price, they have dates next to the prices that help ensure your bouquet lasts at least a full week.3. Organic rules here and is overtaking other types of fruits and veggies. You will be surprised by much organically grown produce has come down in price. It’s also easy ton stay green with so many locally sourced products. And remember to feel good in spite of how easy that was.The not as good but somehow nice:1. It’s a big store. It it’s your first time ask employees or customers for help. Your at a Kroger’s, in Texas and all the folks inside are good people.
Ive been shopping here for over 18 years. Theyve always kept this place very clean and organized. Their selection of organic products is very vast now. I love it because I dont buy all things organic, but when I need something they have it. Their line of Simple Truth products is amazing. They also employ people of special needs, and I love that! Great place to shop for groceries.
Weve shopped here for over 5 years. Great selection and prices. Staff are friendly and helpful. Large, spacious, and clean. Never had a problem with anything we purchased.
Please help rate 1. Restrooms are not clean. For your employees and customers. Please.
This is our go to place for groceries. Its a Kroger, similar to others. Prices are generally better than most when using the Kroger card. Plus the points mean that you get a discount at the gas pump. Though good luck finding a close Kroger gas station. They are fairly sparse here in Dallas.
Very unprofessional. Asked about where to locate an item since I’m unfamiliar with this Kroger. She, the pharmacist, rudely stated that it wasn’t her department and told me to ask someone else and walked away. I just blew it off but then I was checking out and the cashier was very cold and rude while checking my items. Made remarks about how she wasn’t going to do move my water because she hurt her back last time which is fine I understand that but the way she said it was super unprofessional. Will not come back to this Kroger again.
Always clean and orderly. Very fresh produce area, bakery and fresh meat and seafood counter. They will customize cutting and wrapping of meat. Now carries Choice Meat. Very good quality. Large organic area of products. Staff helpful.
I go there all the time almost know or seen all the employees good customer service except for this guy name Elvis which is always distracted talking to someone else when he’s helping but love this Kroger near and convenient!
Our Kroger experience is always a pleasant one. I do have one issue: the shelves appear a bit sparse on some aisles. I was unable to find my favorite cereal. Is this due to Tuesday being the last day of the current sale? My cereal was not on sale.
Each time I visit a Kroger store Im always satisfied. I buy store brands as well as name. The people are very helpful and knowledgeable about where items are located and willing to walk you over to where they are. Keep up the good works and the low prices especially.
Really like the Kroger on Coit @ Belt Line in Richardson. The deli guy MAKES this store! Hes a little bit older and knows his business! They never have the Light chocolate syrup by Nestles, though. Ive requested it, but they never have it like the other Krogers.
Huge markups in everything. Left there to other stores in area. Much cheaper elsewhere.
Well stocked, clean, good prices, and make sure you have a Kroger card each time to get even lower prices. We love places like Central Market but its surprising how often Kroger can compete and they are much closer to our home.
The weirdest layout of any Kroger Ive been to before. Going to take some getting used to.Despite that, very friendly staff who are willing to assist you in tracking down which aisle(s) the item(s) you are looking for is on.Best part is it doesnt seem to get too crowded.
I went to return something and was profiled so I asked for the manager which proceeded to racial profile me and not return the item then I called the HR department and they told me that it was a lie I should have been able to return the item so I went to another location where they willingly and kindly return the item no problem Kroger needs to better interview the people that they are hiring up there because their standards are very low right now
This Krogers has the friendliest customer service. Kiran, Leif, Wei, and all the others are the best. I also love the Managers Specials. The specials really help with our tight food budget of $70/week.
Its easy to get in and out of and rarely really crowded. Deli and meat counters are good. The problem is I have gotten several items that have been opened and resealed on more than one occasion. Example... containers of broth have the lid on, but the foil seal has been broken and juice has the lid on but seals have been broken.
Good place for getting necessities and the like. Its usually not super busy, which is great, and if youre a member, the deals can be good too. I like that this location is close to my local recycling center as well.
Best grocery store I have ever been to. The item stock and staff have always been very good to me. Furthermore they have been understanding and have really pulled through when I needed it most. 5 stars
This pharmacy staff, of two women at the time of my visit, was the most friendly and had the quickest service out of any pharmacy I have EVER been. Like the average consumer, I dont usually write reviews on GOOD customer service, but I had to write one on these women and this pharmacy. The tech called every single customer that came and went from the pharmacy by their first name. The pharmacist was thorough yet quick in filling my prescription in which I saw her carefully inspect and count out. The fact there were only two of them, making their customers feel comfortable and working swiftly is enough to make me drive the extra five miles to exclusively use this pharmacy. Keep up the good work ladies!
Some checkers are fast and some medium. But none are slow. Store is clean and well stocked. Never overcrowded.
Very disappointed in this Kroger. Young woman walking around without a mask. Lots of seniors in there wearing theirs.
Pretty good Kroger. We were in the area so we stopy by for grovery shopping, its not too packed and we found everything we needed. No complaints here.
I noticed the lighting was very nice. I was able to run in, buy what I needed and leave all within ten minutes. Thanks Kroger!
Disappointing. Recently the shelves are not sufficiently stocked. Today there was only 1 jar of the spaghetti sauce that I prefer on the shelf, only 1 ! How hard is it to keep the shelves stocked? We dont buy the Kroger Brand milk anymore because it always sours before the date on the plastic bottle. There are never enough checkout lanes open to accommodate all the customers. We used to love shopping there but not anymore. Considering shopping elsewhere in the future.
Very clean and organized. They have good service. I loved the way their customer service was motivating their employees over the speakers on Mothers day!
Clean, well stocked. Too much overhead advertisement, sounded like they were too close to the mic and it came out sounding like they were yelling across the store. This was every 5-10 minutes .
Generally an excellent store! Selection is extensive, and if you go during the day, there are plenty of friendly employees willing to help you find what youre looking for. My only complaint is that this store is often understaffed in the evenings, leaving only the self-checkout as an option.
They really good staff here. The deli ladies are awesome. Sometimes they really need more checkers at busy times.
I had a really bad encounter with an employee working in the bakery department last night, but thanks to the Manager on duty, Miriam, my experience was turned from bad to great. So to make a long story short... I was in the bakery department looking for a cake to pick out for a friend last night. I picked out the cake and then waited behind a couple who was getting a message put on their cake by the Kroger employee behind the counter. She completes the message for the couple and then walks over to the deli department and starts spraying down the floors. So I walk over to her and ask if she could please help me in the bakery department. She says, I dont work in that department. Stunned at her response I say, I just saw you write a message on a cake for the previous customer. She says, Its ten so were closed and I cant help you. I replyed by saying, You saw me waiting here for 5 minutes you could have told me that sooner. She says, Oh.I take my cake (highly irritated) and walk over to customer service and tell Miriam the whole situation. She hears me out and apologies for what happen. She then walks with me to the bakery and asks the girl to please write a message on my cake. The girl appeared annoyed but proceeded to write. She was struggling to do the task so Miriam was sweet enough to complete the message for me! She did it so quickly and it looked really good! Miriam truly knows the importance of customer service and because of her I have to give a 5 star rating on my review regardless of the not so friendly employee I met earlier. Thank you Miriam for your help and God bless you!
Service desk employee is unprofessional and not very knowledgeable or confident. Management very slow to respond to customer requests. Parking is good.
I thought it was of that there were two areas, quite apart, at the back of the store where milk could be found. The lactose free milk is in the back rear corner.Otherwise, I found everything I was looking for quite easily.
I like the pharmacist but I dont trust the produce and meat. Bread is good if you eat bread.
Good selection. Smaller sized butcher counter. Fresh goods such as sandwiches and deli sort of limited compared to other stores in the area.
Very nice Kroger Signature store. They have a nice selection of organic produce and products. I really enjoy shopping here!!!!
Clean. Excellent customer service. Great bakery. I loveeeee the floral department too. Great prices!
Good selection of everyday items at great prices! Always clean & orderly isles.
The staff is hit or miss, and have a tendency to be a little rude. Produce is always fresh and the store is always clean. Would love for them to add sushi or hot soups like other Krogers.
I love this Kroger its our neighborhood store is the only store that we shop at love the people there
Good shopping place for fruits, vegetables, groceries and for festival season shopping..quick shopping is possible with self checkouts..
People are friendly. I go to the store all the time so I know exactly where most things are. I buy the store brand most of the time and its good quality.
One of the older grocery stores in the area. Although it has been our main store for years, it is in terrible need of a refresh. It often looks Spartan and just isnt an enjoyable shopping experience. Even the WalMart down the street is a much nicer place to shop.
Young lady in the deli was super helpful, I wish I remembered her name!
Good place to shop. Prices seem to be reasonable. Staff is generally helpful.
These folks have gone out of their way to help us find odd items, even contacting their reps to check future stock- they are terrific- and not once, but many times over the years. they have a strong selection of all items. they do a nice job.
This will be my last time shopping at this location ever. They do not honor rainchecks, they are not coupon friendly at all. I do not glitter, or use coupons fraudulently at all. But to not not couons according to your own Corporate policy just really sucks. You have lost a customer here. And min n was a family of 7. Will be giving my business to Tom Thumb from now on. At least they are honorable...
Great pick up service. Love these guys.
Kroger is one of the best stores. Their staffs are always fresh. Customer service is excellent.
Great selection of specialty foods, such as organic, gluten-free, grass-fed beef, free-range chicken, etc. Also, large selection of pet food, along with good prices...66 cents, while .99 other chains.
Great service. Caring and understanding, very willing to help!!!
Freezer asile has all the children except the asian one my favorite.
Ashley in the deli dropped the whole turkey on the floor that she got out of the front of the counter to slice for me. I ask her to please change her gloves( from picking up the wrapped turkey from the floor). She put on new gloves and then wiped the outside of the turkey package with a dry paper towel. I told her that I had changed my mind and walked away. Then the checker then did not give me all my bagged groceries. These are basic expectations.
Great customer service. Better than Tom Thumb.
Been shopping here since they opened & never been disappointed
Nice everyday grocery store, you get everything whatever you need.
The store is always clean, well stocked, also their Employees are Helpful and Nice.
Always a great experience. I have a different kroger closer to me but they are rude and always out of stock on sale items. So I drive an extra 5 miles to come to this location.
Actually for the longest time had someone speak to me as well as help me with what I needed. Even the check out lady and bagger were friendly. Did they change management?
Nice clean store. Well organized and cashier was nice
I really liiiii....ke👍👍👍 this Kroger its near where i live. And the staff is very friendly also everthing is organized,so your in and out without wasting time looking for items. Just love it. Keep it up.....😊👍
Krogers has overall great prices (food, personal items, and seasonal specials). Their pharmacists have found prescriptions available for lower prices than offered by my insurance thanks to knowledge of local government programs and pharmaceutical company promotions (using her own her own initiative - not my request). Some store have gas stations where you can receive up to a$1.00 per gallon discount with a Kroger Rewards card (each RX adds points equal to $50 of groceries - even a $4.00 generic MED). Most importantly their people are helpful, friendly, and often the most professional people with whom I interact on any given day. I drive out of my way to shop at Krogers because theyre the only full service market I know of that views their competition as discount stores like Walmart. They manage to this do this without compromising the services necessary to provide a consistently outstanding customer experience.(My home store is at Walnut & Garland Ave in Garland, TX. I do buy groceries at Krogers closer to my home, but the Garland store will always be my pharmacy).
Extensive selection, but fairly overpriced (even with member card). Products are often mispriced and employees fail to honor posted price. Great selection, poor customer service.
Im always happy with the service I receive at Kroger theyre I do all my shopping at Kroger as take care of medical needs at the Kroger pharmacy and I always leave smiling and very satisfied.
Good food choices, reasonable prices. Usually dirty and the check out counters are the worst. The service is only average to slow.
One of the largest Kroger I have visited. Very friendly staff. Good selection of beer, wine, and meat.
Very clean and spacious. Exactly what I prefer.
Very spacious and clean. I love their in store made tortillas
