This apple store is so amazing! I usually have what I call buyers anxiety ... I buy something, pay a lot for it, and immediately want to return it. I dont have that anxiety when purchasing from this apple store at Renaissance because the staff is super friendly and they make you feel like family. This particular time I bought an apple watch series 6! Rate it a 5 star as well! I love this store so much!!

Wonderful service! I couldn’t ask for a better experience. Went to the Genius Bar to get my Mac book fixed. They gave me the time that it would be fixed, they called me before that time to tell me it was fixed early. Went to pick it up and it was no charge! My MacBook is like new and I am so pleased!!

Store associate was very disrespectful towards me as soon as I walked through the door, was looked down upon and was told I was not welcome there without an appointment. Since when did you have to have an appointment just to ask someone about a problem with a product. 10 out of 10 do not recommend.

Discouraging greeter upon entry to an appointment as stated. Then I go on to say Im here to pick up an iPhone 13.. she says, O we dont have any iPhone ProMax, I did not say a pro max 13, I said iPhone 13 and the phone agent says there are plenty iPhone 13 available here. less jus say she went on the defense quickly. CS was horrible, and the salesman was equally less concerned in the purchase of the iPhone 13 and accessories bought.

Just very dissatisfied with how I was treated yesterday when I brought in my iphone11 to have the activation lock removed. I brought my receipt the first time prepared to show proof of purchase. They told me the receipt wasn’t good enough because it didn’t have the IMEI or serial #. They made me go back to my provider and get more proof. Cspire couldn’t give me anything that printed with it on it so he sent me several screenshots of my account to show proof. I drove back to the store and that wasn’t sufficient either because it wasn’t printed out. They made me (by myself) put in a ticket to be called by an Apple representative for something that they can do! Now I have to wait up to 30 days to unlock a phone that is legitimately mine. I’m going to stay away from Apple products. It’s not an exclusive club membership. It’s a damn phone.

On Saturday The store manager wouldn’t let me pick upMy own items I ordered on line because it was in my company’s name. He said it had to match my ID. Well you companies name won’t match your driver’s license. Obviously apple didn’t have an issue when I placed the order with my company name, with an apple credit card with my company name on it. I had e mails, pick up numbers as well as a barcode for them to scan for my pick up!! Also you can designate some one else to pick up an order for you so I don’t see an issue here. Maybe color was an issue with him. 99 percent of my apple products come from Best Buy anyway. I will never visit an apple store again for my purchases. Very rude and unprofessional!

Rude. They would not fix my phone screen because they claim it had water damage with no proof and it didn’t! They then would not let me keep my phone after having to buy a new one. It did not come in a box/case but claim that they do not refurbish phones for resell when I asked them??

I am so happy with my recent purchase from Kelvon at this location. I was visiting from Dallas and had problems with my previous phone. When I walked into the store I didnt know what I needed until meeting Kelvon. He was proactive about showing me top options from iphone 12, apple watch, to the right phone case selection. What is even more impressive is that he patiently help me complete my data transfer. Even the store was closing, he still patiently spent time going over and above to make sure my service experience was a 5-star experience. Thank you Kelvon !!! Your company is lucky to have you and you deserve a promotion with a raise. Customer service you provided me are rare these days.

It’s unorganized with the whole check in outside. No one understands what’s happening outside with the so called lines. When I made an appointment online it wasn’t honored at the store because it automatically signed my appointment up as a “shopping” appointment though I needed my earbuds looked at to see why one of them isn’t working. It just seemed like a mess.

There is nothing great about the service here. I have went multiple times giving the benefits of doubt. Some get great service cause the employees choose whom they want to service. If they look like they will spend a lot they get services quicker. I went in and literally was ignored. I was there to get a Mac and iPad and Ipencil and sat there for longer than thirty minutes. Not one employee came to speak to me. But customers after me got serviced as soon as they walked in. I asked the guy at the door what the problem was and was told that they had a wait for service. I put in a complaint and have not been back.

Express pickup is a joke. If apple is so concerned about their employees health they should keep the door open. 8 people standing in-line who had a pickup there is nothing express about this process. You would think apple would have people smart enough to make an efficient system, but is an epic failure.

My husband took my computer in to fix the “Critical Software “ error. They didn’t fix it. All they did was put the computer in Safe Boot mode, and they told him there was nothing wrong with it. When I booted the computer up at home, I got the same message. This is the second time in a year that I have had a problem with this. At least the first time they fixed it. Now I can’t get an appointment to get back in because they are closing down again. I waited five days to get the first appointment. I am very upset.

DO NOT COME TO THIS STORE FOR REPAIRS OR ANYTHING RELATED. I made an appointment with apple support to come in on Saturday, the 5th. I dropped off my MacBook for repairs as it was having speaker, display, and battery issues. I was then told by the apple specialist that the repair would take anywhere from 3-5 business days. On Friday, the 11th, I had not heard any updates from the store as they said they would call me to provide updates and when my device would be ready to pick up. After calling apple to try to find where my MacBook was in the process I was told that it was awaiting parts for repairs. When I asked what repairs, the apple specialist said they are basically putting in all new parts including a display, battery, new chip sets and speakers. After discussing it with the specialist they transferred me to a manger and to say the least, the manger was very rude and unpleasant. I had tried asking him if I could get a new replacement unit as this was not the first time I was having these issues. He rudely told me that it wasn’t an option and that I would just have to wait for the store to call me as he “a manager” could not provide me with an update on my MacBook. It is 10 days past the time of drop-off and I am very frustrated. My mistake from switching from android and Windows to Mac.

I went in to the store a few years ago & it was such an annoying experience. I wanted to get a new battery for my old 6S plus. I didn’t know that you needed an appointment to do anything at all there. The workers act like they don’t want to help you or even talk to you, much less answer a question. After waiting for almost 20 minutes, I was told that I needed an appointment.🙄😤 So I left, made the appointment & came back a week later for my appointment, only to be told that they didn’t have me in the schedule and it’d be a long wait and it’d probably be better if I made yet another appointment!😤😡 Needless to say I left & never returned. I was completely frustrated and sooo annoyed! That was fall 2018.

Renaissance at Colony Park Apple Store is a very poorly managed and trained store! There seem to be loads of employees, but MANY are not properly trained. They stand around joking, visiting with each other, and socializing far too long. On a recent visit, for which I had an appointment, it took over an hour to get to me. The genius bar has very few geniuses except for Jessie!! It took 3 agents to finally come up with what they thought was a solution. Alas, it wasnt the answer. Training sessions are a joke! Yes, Im glad to have an Apple Store here in our area, but there needs to be some MAJOR demoting, hiring, and training. I would start with a new manager if I were the regional manager. I have been in 3 Apple stores while in other cities and this isnt the case in those.

The reason there are so many one star reviews is because from the minute you walk through the door you can tell no one working there cares about the store or it’s reputation, much less helping the customer resolve Apple induced issues.My wife ad I drove 3 hrs to get to the store to try and resolve the Apple update battery destroying issue that we didn’t cause before we leave the country tomorrow morning. The person at the door informs us as soon as we walk in that even though the store is open for another hour or so, they are not helping anyone else tonight. Despite the fact that no less than 10 red shirt employees in the store are standing around talking to each other with little to do. We went ahead and talked to someone in the store to learn that they don’t have any batteries anyway. The guy helping at this point mentioned a diagnostic to see if the battery was bad so I had to ask if he could do that at least. He did. The battery is borderline. I explained our situation with a faulty phone prior to an out of the country trip and the need for a working phone, to which I got a basically ‘oh well’ response and a suggestion to restore it and see what happens when you get home and no longer have any options.I font typically leave reviews at all but in this case the store oozed “we don’t care” from every pore. Due to an update, Apple and due to not caring,the Apple Store in Madison, MS has left us heading to another country without a dependable cell. Hopefully we don’t get separated in a foreign country.If these people worked for me, they would all be looking for somewhere else to work.

One of the best apple store experiences I have had. They did everything to try and find the cheapest option to repair my computer. Although my hard drive had to be replaced they explained every option I had to retrieve my old data. Yes, it takes a long but its the Apple Store and if you have an appointment it is fast. I’m not sure if the problem is with the apple store or the corporation Apple itself, but my daughter recently downloaded the latest software update from Apple and it crashed her phone. She immediately took the phone to the Apple store and was told that they had heard of other incidents of people’s iPhones crashing and that there was nothing they could do to help. The problem with that story is her phone is perfect, she keeps it in a case, it’s not cracked and is not damaged in any shape, form or fashion. As a parent I find it hard to believe that there is nothing that can be done to repair or replace a software issue caused by updating your phone the way the manufacturer suggests that it should be done.

I have a known iPhone 7 problem which developed out of town. The Georgetown Apple store was fantastic, fixed my phone, told me to return if the problem developed again because my issue was covered outside the warranty. It recurred. However, it was intermittent and of course worked by the time of my appointment. The Genius Bar associate in Jackson was less than helpful and could not of cared less about my problem. She started off by interrupting me to tell me the phone is out of warranty. Then simply told me they could not do anything about it until it broke again. I wasted my time and, since it broke again, have to make time for a second appointment. Poor service is how Apple loses it’s foothold in the market

If youre here to be sold something you already wanted, theres no stopping you. This Apple Store has what you want. You already know that.If youre hear to get help, results may vary. Im not 100% sure this is common Apple practice, but every time we have needed something fixed, it has either involved a complete OS wipe and reinstall or device replacement.As long as you understand that coming in, youre good to go.Also, the wait can be a little long for help so its best set up an appointment.

Phone died and wouldnt restart all day. Waited 30 minutes on hold to get an a Genius Bar appointment 4 days later. Was told to go to Best Buy for sooner help. Went to BB where I was told they cant fix battery issues.After waiting 4 days for Genius Bar appointment, I checked in early for a 5:45 appointment but wasnt helped until after 7:00 (despite checking in twice more). Received less than 10 minutes of help, stating they couldnt fix the phone until battery completely died. What happened to Apple service? Was in town from hours away, only option to fix my computer was to wait 3 hours or come back and drive another 6 hours to get there. They could not help me, said I had to call apple to set up help...could have been more helpful and accommodating given the distance traveled. Expect to spend about 2-3 hours here, regardless of if youve reserved a time via Apples repair website or if you walk in from off the street. Expect to be shuffled between multiple Apple employees and be prepared to update each new employee with the full rundown of your issue. Prepare to stand or sit in a small, compact space with ten people huddled around a table. The process is too bureaucratic for how poorly it functions. Apple Stores have gotten worse than the DMV; even they provide more convenient options at this point.

I would rate this store in the negatives, if allowed to do so. EVERY low-rating comment on here is 100% true. Theres too much going on. By walking in the store, youd think the service was great, because of all of the employees and how fast theyre moving. Turns out, theyre moving fast and walking with their heads down, because they dont want to be bothered. When I made it in, I was sent to the back of the store. Id set an appointment online, but that didnt seem to matter. I had to ask three employees if someone could help me, and all of them were rude. One ladys response was, did you have an appointment? I waited for 25 minutes, before getting helped, only for them to say, we dont sell that battery here anymore. On top of that, the employees could care less of whos around to hear their conversations. The two sitting by me, pretending to be busy, had the nerve to complain about not getting a break! This was at 11:30AM! Apples online customer service is grand, but this stores customer service makes me regret being an Apple customer. Ive never thought about switching to a Samsung phone, until today. Terrible.

I went in to this Apple Store multiple times complaining of the same software issue and they sent me home every time. Until a few months after my warranty was over, my phone died of the exact same reason before and I asked them if they could fix it. They said no because its out of warranty. They said the phone is dead without even an explanation and my only option was to pay for another phone. In disbelief, I went home and googled solutions to my phone issue. Plugged the damn thing into my laptop. And it worked just fine. I almost paid $400 for the same exact phone. This Apple Store has by far the most incompetent staff members I have ever worked with. They dont even try to help you with your issues. So, when the staff at the Madison Apple Store tell you your Apple product is beyond repair, dont listen to them. Dont waste your money.

The customer service has been good over the past years I’ve been going. People with the one stars don’t understand that this is the ONLY Apple store in MS, so of course they’re always busy or might have an extended wait time. I see also a lot of these 1 star reviews are because someone didn’t get their way when visiting. The employees have rules and procedures they have to follow, and if you’re not in that category,they’re hand are tied. Please be more considerate of policy’s and procedures rather than saying the customer service is bad because you didn’t get your way.

The wait time to get any sort of assistance is inexcusably long. There were 5+ “greeters” at the front of the store both times I went in that apparently are only able to send you to another person who also can’t help you with your problem. Communication was terrible both between them and me and amongst themselves. This is the closest apple store to me (2.5hrs), and I plan on never stepping foot in it again.

Had to go to get my husbands phone worked on for the second time for a phone that is 8 months old. If this company cared about their reputation, they would clean house. Worst place on the planet, who do they think they are? Waited in line for them to open after I was told I couldn’t make a reservation to fix a broken screen. Finally opens and they come out and say they could get to me in 45 min. I would recommend going somewhere else but that’s the problem all apple stores are terrible I hope someone comes up with a better phone I’ll buy it in a heart beat.

This is by far the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had in my life. I purchased a new MacBook Pro online and had it shipped to this store. I wanted a data migration done, so I called Apple to make an appointment. They told me this store did not book appointments but to just come in and they would help me complete the process. Instead, they handed me my laptop and told me they could not help me until the next morning. Since I live far away, I got a hotel room and came back the next morning. I waited in line (in the rain) to get into the store for about an hour. Once I got inside, they said a data migration would take 72 hours...absolute fail Apple. This store has careless employees and no organization. If you are able, drive to the store in Birmingham instead. It’s a shame there’s no way to give 0 stars.

Went to look for a specific person about a job that told me to be there at 9am but I wasn’t aware that the store didn’t open until 10am. So I told one of the gentleman that I saw in the store who I was looking for and I couldn’t really hear what they were saying because for one he was so far away from the door to where I couldn’t understand him because they didn’t want to walk to the door and tell me politely. One of the gentleman was yelling at me inappropriate and finally the first gentleman walked to the window he basically brushed me off because he didn’t know what I was talking about. To describe how the two men looked, one was a dark complexion male with glasses and dreads the one that was doing the screaming at me from the back has a light complexion with a low haircut. They both were very unprofessional and it was my first time ever coming to that store. I will not come back again and I have an iPhone...

It is obvious that this store is in a downward spiral. I have been going to it for nearly 10 years and it is been blatantly obvious things are changing, employees are rude and generally act like you are bugging them or bothering them when you are there for an appointment or to purchase merchandise. I made two appointments to get a repair done and I was treated so poorly both times that I decided to call Apple and mail in my repair, they treated me with respect, the way Apple is known to treat their customers. This Apple store in Mississippi is giving Apple a bad name and somebody in Cupertino needs to come and fire them all or straighten them out so they realize how they are supposed to represent the Apple name.

I love Apple Stores, and this one was a lot smaller than the one I usually visit. It was raining hard and the doors were still open and you could see in(AWESOME). Its a great neighborhood(typical Apple), right beside C Spire and Butler Snows corp headquarters in an upper class shopping district.Its always expensive, but the reps were nice.

I went to the Apple Store Monday, November 5th, 2018 expecting to receive cash for my undamaged phones. The young lady who walked up to assist had very poor customer service skills. I explained to her about what I thought I could do based on information that I received over the phone from APPLE. The information was incorrect or clearly there was a misunderstanding. However, instead of the young lady politely explaining to me what Apple can and can not do or me, she had the audacity to ask me who does that? I am a customer service PROFESSIONAL at my job. You do not use sarcasm with the public. You are to assist and inform your customers to the best of your ability, leaving them with their dignity regardless of if they received what they WANTED or NOT. I feel that Apples employees need customer service and etiquette training when coming into direct contact with the public.

Mixed reaction to service. Had numerous staff just standing around chatting, but no one could help without an appt. Had an appt. but couldnt get help immediately. Came back for appt. on time and had to wait about 10-15 min. before someone got to us. Nico, was very helpful and was very customer friendly. So, some bad and some good regarding visit.

Miserable wait after coming early to be told over a 5-hour wait for walk-ins. Got on list, told Id be texted as soon as my appointment came up, and drove an hour back to work. Came back and found that Im now going to wait for another two hours! I would think a tech company would be capable of better text updates. Found out that I was supposed to be told it would be a series of texts. Ugh. Well see how it goes with a genius. And Ill post that as well. Customer service is NOT a priority with this company.

Non-existent customer service!!!This is the 3rd time I have visited this store and NOBODY even bothered to ask me if I needed any help finding what I was looking for. The first time was, admittedly, crowded, BUT the last 2 times there were MULTIPLE associates standing around laughing and visiting with each other. I will avoid this place if at all possible from here on out.They even had a group of what was presumably prospective employees gathered together going through a training on how to wait on customers. LOL

I would give the store just a single star but there were so many other awesome people that I talked to today except for the one person that ruined it for the whole store.. LAWRENCE and that might not even be as real name..He said he was going to go get me a receipt weas theyr a hawere having time a hard time trying to print one for me.... he never came back so I went over there and asked him about my receipt he was talking to another employee he turned around and told me not to interrupt him while he was talking to another employee about a customer. yikes what was I?I was a customer yeah the transaction was over like five minutes ago but just because the transaction was over doesnt give him a right to be so disrespectful and rude the nice thing is the store has cameras and if management really cared they would go back and watch the whole ordeal. The truth is management doesnt care.

First of all, you cant even reach anyone in the store directly by the number provided. Guess now we can all compare Apple to At&T for longest wait time and poor, unfriendly customer service from the sales reps in the store. Specifically in my experience this morning, Julia, who disconnected my call after it took me nearly thirty minutes to reach someone in the store. She was very rude and did not want to let me speak to another employee who could confirm whether or not the battery I needed was in stock. Even though I made an appointment before hand with the Apple operator and just wanted confirmation with the store to avoid a wasted trip. All in all, very disappointed in their customer service today. I miss the days when Apple was smaller and actually cared about their consumers more.
