Randy the owner went on the test drive with me to disgnose the issue. He has years of experience and has worked at Toyota dealerships in the past which my truck being a Toyota tunda is. Jason the service advisor was outstanding also. I made an appointment and within the hour of dropping it off they had the issue repaired. This service center is the best I have dealt with in many years. Both of these men had terrific and most friendly personalities and our conversation was an added bonus. These guys diagnosed/repaired an unusual electrical problem on my 09 VW Jetta TDI. They also recently replaced my turbo, and have done regular diesel fuel filter replacements for me over the years. Good work, friendly, honest guys, reasonable prices. I would recommend them for your import car.

Very friendly repair made pretty fast

Have taken my 07 Mercedes E320 in a couple of times for fairly straight forward repairs. Prices are reasonable and turnaround was usually completed the next day. I do wish their routing maintenance (fluids and filters) was less expensive and more line with Valvoline which is substantially less. I prefer RR Imports over the local Mercedes dealer.

I have been taking my vehicles to Randy and his crew since they opened. I LOVE LOVE LOVE them. They are honest, reasonably priced and stand behind their work. They keep track of maintenance required and recalls on all my vehicles so I dont have to worry about it. I hope they NEVER RETIRE!! I truly dont know what Id do without them!!

There is no better place to get regular oil changes or maintenance done on a car. It is important that you find a mechanic/shop owner that know your cars. Jason was very helpful on the phone when I made my appointment, and he and the tech(s) were similarly so in explaining and showing me a problem which they noticed while doing the oil change - which was my reason for being there. I also appreciated their not pressuring me into immediately doing some other repairs, but instead advising to just keep an eye on the non-life-threatening situation which they noticed. I value this honesty, and will definitely return when future maintenance or repairs might be needed. Their attitude engendered a level of trust which seems to be absent from so many other service providers I have, sadly, encountered, lately.

Absolutely the most honest and professional car service I have dealt with in my 56 years of driving all over the country. Randy and Jason really care about their customers. They service all 4 of my vehicles and have done a superb job on all of them.

I went in and spoke with Jason about a very loud noise that was coming from the front end. We isolated it to the front hubs, and he suggested trying to do one side at a time to see if I could save some money. I made an appointment, and they had the work done in only a few hours, and it actually came in under budget, too ! I couldnt believe how quiet it was afterwards -- they did a wonderful job on both isolating the issue, and fixing it as well !! I will definitely be back to get more work done here -- its so nice to have found a garage thats honest, and does good work at a fair price. Our old Ford SUV was making loud noise when going over potholes. We did not want to break down somewhere and have to get a tow. I had to go on a business trip so we decided to stop in on the way to the airport and see if Rio Rancho Imports would work in our vehicle without making an appointment. Normally we would make an appointment but due to the severity of this noise we decided to take a chance on getting it into the shop. We were so glad that they worked us in. Rio Rancho imports has always provided great service at a reasonable cost.One time I saw oil on the pavement where my vehicle was parked. I stopped in to see what was leaking and they immediately put it on a rack to check. They said the oil was not coming from my vehicle and did not charge me for the inspection. That kind of integrity is what will bring me back in the future when I do need service.

Outstanding service. I recently had my daughters Oldsmobiles rear shocks and front brakes replaced and through their comprehensive vehicle check they noted that the front tires were bald, something I hadnt noticed since I dont drive the car. I immediately replaced the tires. I also had my vintage Mustang re-geared by their automotive technicians and they again did an outstanding job. Before that, I couldnt drive the car without riding the clutch and stalling out at every intersection. Randy, their subject matter expert on vintage vehicles, readjusted my carburetor and installed a manual choke, which he had recommended. The owner, Randy, (not the Randy whom I was previously referring to) came to my rescue when I first tried to get my vehicle home before it was re-geared and he actually drove it to my house. On a return trip to get to their shop to have the car re-geared, I ran into trouble again and Randy (the owner) sent the other Randy and another employee who rescued me yet again. Randy then drove my car and the other employee took me to their shop . I have never had an automotive repair shop go to the lengths that Randy Arndorfer has gone to in providing personal service above and beyond any of my expectations. Today they drove me home after I dropped off another vehicle at their shop. Rio Rancho Imports is in a class by itself. I highly recommend this business for all domestic and import vehicle repairs, diagnostic evaluations, and what I consider to be world-class service.

Havent ever taken a car to them. call several times for different cars they can never give me a straight answer on a price for standard jobs ie timing belt job whereas every other shop will give a price no problem these guys wont give you a price unless you bring the car into them giant waste of time. just call someone who knows what a standard job is gonna take.

I was referred to this business by another shop while I was on vacation. They squeezed me in to their fully booked schedule, even though I did not have an imported car. They repaired my car in an hour and a half including the time necessary to get the part. They charged me less than the original very reasonable estimate. They were very knowledgeable and courteous. I recently took my car to Rio Rancho Imports and got the spark plugs changed on a 2011 BMW 328i xdrive. When I picked up the the car, there were numerous warning lights indicating I had four flat tires and needed an oil service. I just put four new tires and had the oil changed about a month prior to taking it in. They told me my car needed to be serviced and when I showed them the receipts for the service they said they could not remove the warnings because they were no sure that that the place I took it to was a trusted mechanic. The place that serviced my vehicle was the Valvoline store on Coors and Montano and the service sensor was reset when I got my oil changed; I made sure of it. My girlfriend and I will not be taking our cars to them anymore. We feel they do not know what they are doing and they charge as much as the dealership. I don’t like writing reviews but I don’t want our community to be taken advantage of.

Fair & honest mechanics that do quality work and will back it up!Its been months since my last mechanical issue, and Im currently looking for parts on another vehicle. I found myself giving a glowing recommendation to the others in the room so I might as well write it up here on google for all to see.I couldnt get all of my last set of recommended repairs done, but they were very honest, patient, and low pressure (friendly) about what was necessary and what could wait. The work I did have done was completed in good time as well.Ill definitely be back to get the rest knocked out when it comes time, and for anything else that might come up.

I cant say enough good things about this business! I brought my old car in thinking that it had a blown head gasket. Even though I was pretty sure the car was not worth fixing, I needed to have it hooked to diagnostics tests and none of my friends had the equipment,Every single other car repair place wanted to charge almost 300just to run diagnostics.so I went to Rio Rancho imports and they said they would test it for only the cost of the diagnostic and not charge me another penny until we talked about the results.Well, turns out it WAS a blown head gasket and when I went to go get the car they charged just for the diagnostic. That was over 100 bucks,LESS than all the other shops - which was a huge savings over any other mechanic shop, and trust me, I need the money because now I gotta go get another car.Guys, seriously, if you live in Rio Rancho if you ever have car trouble go see these guys! They are super fair and above all, THEY ARE HONEST!I only rated them a 5 cuz there werent more stars.

More expensive than other shops. They set off my alarm on my vehicle after being informed not to move a specific switch. They called to ask how to shut it off. Gave them step by step directions how to shut it off. Once got it back didnt notice alarm was still going off because the horn was disconnected.

They go the extra mile when accommodating me when I have an urgent repair and Ive just shown up without an appointment. They use quality parts when repairing vehicles and often invite me out into the shop area and show me issues with my vehicles first-hand. There have been times when they have taken me home after I dropped off a vehicle. This automotive repair shop is absolutely the best.

Finding a good mechanic is hard, especially for a woman. If you think Rio Rancho Imports is the answer, you couldnt be more wrong!The charges continued to add up, at the end I was looking at $800. With everything that was wrong with my car that was understandable.However, I dont like being lied to. I was told my vehicle would be done at closing (they had my car for 2 full days). Apparently closing is now 8:30 pm for them...oh wait, it says 6:00 pm on their door. So I was lied to.I sat there for over an hour waiting for my car. I hadnt eated since noon and I started to feel sick. I kept being told it would be a few more minutes. Either someone doesnt know what the word few actually means or they lie a lot. I ended up getting extremely upset, my dad got on the phone with them and the guy lied to him right in front of me.I was upset, I dont need to lie about that. I raised my voice. It was well deserved. I wasnt feeling well. I was having problems breathing, I went to set my PLASTIC container down that I had packed my lunch in, (as I had came directly from work), I accidently set it down at an angle, and it rolled (thats what round objects sometimes do) off the counter. The guy tells my dad Im throwing things and hes going to call the police. He then tells my father that I was offered a ride home 2 hours ago. Um, I wasnt there 2 hours ago, I was with my father!He told me he could push my car up front and it would be my problem. I said, Fine, give me my $800 back and Ill have it taken elsewhere. He walked away when I said that (forgot you already got paid, HUH?!).I was handed the container I was accussed of throwing back by another employee. My dad told me the guy would give me a ride home and bring my car when it was done. I made it clear I was not getting in the car with him and I would walk home (about a mile - no big deal, except Im upset, I feel sick, and its hot, but its better than sitting in a car with that guy!).Oh, and during this whole thing the owner informs me he hasnt eaten either. Um, I wasnt paid $800. I wasnt the one who said the car would be ready at 6pm. Thats not my problem and I really dont care.So when was my car ready? A few minutes later as promised? I had asked them to call when they were bringing my car home. Before any contact with them I walked home, ate dinner, and watched Big Brother (a show that runs for an HOUR!). I then contacted them asking the status of my car. Oh theyre, just washing their hands, theyll bring it by, I was about to call you and ask for your address.So you dont know my address (even though I gave it to you when I brought the car in) and then she admits, she doesnt have my phone number. I give her both. They end up calling my father saying they need him to come and sign a release (dont call me, its only MY VEHICLE) and my dad was out with a friend.My car was returned at about 8:30 pm. The guy said, Im sorry if I misled you with the time, it wasnt intentional. No, telling me a few more minutes, 6:15pm at the latest isnt misleading at all. 6:15pm apparently is the same as 8:30pm.If you couldnt guess, I WILL NEVER, EVER be taking my car back to Rio Rancho Imports, and I recommend you dont either.

My fiancé bought a vehicle from American Toyota that continues to give us problems...we took it back they supposedly fixed it....but problems keep coming up again. We finally start getting estimates from them about how much it is going to cost to fix a lemon, truck that they sold us. We then take our vehicle to Rio Rancho Imports (referred by family) where they find out the same problems and fix it for a fraction of the price. This is our go to place these days. P.S. Dont ever expect to get your vehicle in the timeframe you want it at any mechanic...its common sense. Coordinate transportation before hand, rental or a friend to pick you up. Also pack yourself a lunch if your going to wait!

Took my vehicle in for maintenance and when I picked up my car the job wasnt even closed up. Panel was still off and then my automatic window wasnt automatic anymore. Not happy.
