Alanna the eyebrow waxing specialist is amazing! I was shopping one day and noticed her working on someone else and just asked if she could take me next. I’m really glad I did. She is awesome and I have gotten so many compliments on them! The whole staff there is always so super friendly!

Got my brows done with alanna the other day and i absolutely would recommend this service !! she’s so nice and knowledgeable, and i was in and out in about twenty minutes.

I recently went by to update my skincare routine. I was assisted by the nicest lady, Rita. My skin is feeling better than ever. Ulta is a fave for me. This location has excellent staff.

I went here on Sunday and received the best customer service I have ever had in Ulta. I have always had a good experience at Ulta but this time I felt so great after leaving that I had to leave a review. All my questions were answered and I left with great products!

This store is usually out of every popular shade in everything. Very low or no stock available. Eyeshadow is VERY POPULAR and they only had a Too Faced display - its just not a very well stocked or maintained store compared to other Ultas.

Everybody was very helpful, store super clean, everything easy to find, and very helpful at registers. Will cone back again !!!

Im not here to put anyone on blast or anything, but I do want to make clear of my horrid experience at this salon. I had my hair cut at a different salon who hacked it- it looked so awful I couldnt go another day looking at it. At this point in time, this Ulta location was closest to school so I went in. The first girl was super nice and told me what she thought should be done to fix it however she had no time slots available. Anyway, a younger girl was available to attempt a fix. Right away, had the s***tiest attitude, I asked simple questions and received nothing but rudeness and straight attitude. Also, I overheard her tell the initial girl that I was super annoying behind the counter. She cut it, styled it, looked ok until the next day I washed and dried it. I have super long hair and my top layer looks like a bowl cut and extremely prominent where the rest of my layers were choppy and everywhere in no certain direction. I had friends, family and coworkers tell me how awful it looked. So I went back for a refund and after trying to get it, the manager(S) told me that I wouldnt be able to schedule services at any other ulta location ever again. FALSE. They were scaring me out of a refund and corporate was involved, telling me that it was completely unacceptable. Had to have it fixed two more times (at my normal Ulta) after that and it still looks like absolute dirt. So crappy my main girl told me my only option was to let it grow out. Couldve handed some scissors to a two year old and they would have done a better job. Will never return, ever. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I was also told from a different ulta that Im not the first person to complain about this place if that helps at all.

Alyssa does my hair in the salon, SHE IS AMAZING and so so talented! I always leave the salon head over heels in love with my hair!! She really listens to your wants and gives honest feedback in a positive way. I always know I’m in good hands with her. She really does an amazing job, this is her passion and she absolutely loves what she does & it shows in her work

I have yet to have a poor experience at this location and Ive been going here for YEARS! Some locations dont exactly have the friendliest staff (being nice about this), but this location goes the extra mile. Theyre friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help.The one thing here that really just makes me happy, is that if they dont know the answer, they tell you they dont know and try to find the right one! They dont just feed you information that could be wrong (or hazardous if you have an allergy).

Since the COVID restrictions have been put in place, I have not had a positive experience at this Ulta. First I was accosted at the front door with someone asking me personal questions ranging from my digestion issues to if I had diarrea. They also shoved something on my forehead to take my temperature. My issue is specifically with the eyebrow esthetician to whom I was assigned. I requested an appointment with Kayla. She is incredible. However, I was given a place-holder esthetician who told me that she felt uncomfortable doing my brows if I did not cover my nose completely with my mask. When I went to her station, she was wearing a mask PLUS a face guard. I am unclear why the intake at the door was not good enough for the eyebrow esthetician. She even touched my face without permission because she said that my mask was too loose because she did not feel comfortable doing my eyebrows if my mask was not adjusted to her specification. I told her that I was then uncomfortable spending money on her service and left the store. Just sayin...if the eyebrow esthetician is that leery of being contaminated, perhaps she should stay home in her bubble.

To the good employees at this Ulta. I was in there today with my sister and was forced to leave before we wanted to because from the second we walked through the door, we were absolutely hounded by employees asking if they could help us with anything.Ok, first of all, I KNOW this is your job. I respect that. It’s what you are told you have to do by corporate. So my complaint is to corporate and the GM at this store.PLEASE MAKE THEM STOP!I was in the store not even ten minutes and I counted 9 times I was asked if I could be helped a few of those by the same girl twice when I told her the first time I was fine.Sometimes, we just don’t need help. Sometimes we just want to browse and try out the testers. Sometimes we know a lot more about makeup and the various brands you carry than you are aware of.Today, it was just to the point that my sister and I could not stand it any longer and we’re forced to leave when we originally came into the store with the intention of purchasing various products.I am not giving up on this store. I just hope someone at the store sees this and makes a change. Shopping should be relaxing. Today it was not. If I need help with something, I promise, I WILL ask!

I just went there to buy something I needed and was treated extremely unfair by the Manager of the store. Instead of being polite and answer my question about if the store was open yet, and also if they were going to have a collection launching today before I can even ask, she answered super rude and slammed the door in my face . The only reason why I go to this Ulta is for the convenient commute but it’s ridiculous the way they treat customers. If I could I will give ZERO stars !

This location the employees never ask if you need help for anything. I was looking for some perfume last night but no one asked me or my husband if we needed help. If you go here good luck with finding what you need. Bad customer service. Guess they dont care about you unless maybe you go to the salon, idk and dont care. I will just educate myself on what to buy. They should take some training from bath and body works in the same plaza, they always greet and help there customers.

I had an issue using a gift card at this location. The manager Dominique went above and beyond to helpe with this issue. Her dedication to customer service was admirable. What was even more impressive is that she remained kind and patient throughout the entire interaction despite the fact that I was not clearly irritated. I appreciate that the management went above and beyond to help me resolve this issue. I will definitely choose this location over others for that reason.

This Ulta is freaking amazing. The employees are so kind and helpful. When I have trouble finding something, they are always there to help.

I got to the salon to get my haircut. My hair is naturally curly, and it was difficult to get a good cut until I met John. Schedule an appointment with him. He is so nice, and he does an awesome job! Hes been cutting my hair for 6+ years now.

I had a good experience until checkout. I could do without the incessant harassment about signing up for their credit card. If I want one I will ask for one.

Yesterday I had a return the cashier her name was Michelle she said the refund was going back to my credit card I said which one she said i dont know which credit card it only gives me the last #4 digits i know that ! She was rude & unprofessional & inpatient I have disability i can not be rush my daughter was next to me I said to her the reason i want to know i got rid of all my credit cards she was arguing with me saying this well you bought this on 11/5 today is 11/9 are you serious who are you to even Question me about it my life choices. I didnt want to sign something that I didnt have the card anymore. NEWSFLASH you never ever argue with a customer. We are the reason you standing here have a job you . Im going for the survey your manager is not gonna be so damn happy you lucky I was a kind person

I have been going to the salon here for a few years and I simply love this place!! Deborah at the salon is amazing!! She always takes such great care of me! I have wavy hair that has been butchered tons of times by other stylists but Deborah gets is right all the time!! She knows how to cut it so it always sits right!! She also does an amazing job with my color and highlights!! If you are looking for someone who pamper you Deborah is the girl for you!

I wish I could give this salon a zero star review . If you have long hair and want soft, long blended layers that blend well go somewhere else . If you don’t mind layers that all of a sudden stop in the middle of your head and literally look like a curtain and like somebody used a weed whacker instead of a pair of scissors then this is the place to go! I am absolutley bewildered on how my hair got so screwed up ! My hair was down past my shoulders when I walked before the lady touched my hair ........ now some of the “ layers” do not even reach the bottom of my ear ! I called and complained and somebody else tried to fix it, but it is still not right . I never said I wanted short, choppy, crappy looking face framers . I said from the very beginning I wanted long, soft, blended layers !!! There is a huge difference !!

I decided to stop here with my four-year-old to pick up some hair dye for him. Upon walking in we were never greeted by any employees. When I ask for a certain product was we got a very rude response as if we shouldnt have been there. Unfortunately I did take my business elsewhere and doubt I will ever return to this place considering I dont buy these products normally. But the customer service not so good. I will definitely give the store clumsiness across the board.

The only reason I am giving this store 3 stars is for my wonderful aestheticians Sonya! I have been seeing her for my facials for a few years now and she always takes such great care of me and my skin!With that being said, the store is messy, messy, messy! As soon as I stepped in, there was way too much at the front and it was overwhelming. While I was walking around, I couldn’t help but notice how dirty the shelves were. Whether it was from spilled products or broken items, opened boxes, used product - It was truly like a glorified wal Mart and made me want to leave.I will still continue to see Sonya for my facials but sadly I will be shopping elsewhere for my items.

Dont expect to spend any less than 20 minutes in line at this store. Every time I come in I assume the extremely slow check out my previous visit must have been a fluke, but it isnt. About six visits in the last year have all been the same, Ive been in the store for a half an hour or more when I know exactly what Im going in for. I have also experienced the same thing as other customers, good service one day and then completely ignored on other days.

Highly do not recommend this ulta. Nothing but horrible customer service and it was such a problem using the coupon that they were handing out at the door. Had my eyebrows done and was told by numerous employees that I could use the $10 off coupon on my brow service. Get to the register and I am told Im not allowed to use it yet it doesnt state on the coupon that it excludes benefit brow services. I asked the girl to get a manager and she gave me an attitude about it. The general manager Brandi, comes over and says no you can only use it on retail products. Again, where does it state that on the coupon??? No where. She tries changing the amount of the service and it wont allow her to override it. Took 15 minutes for her to just say if I give you a $10 gift card to use on your service would that be acceptable? I said yes and that I wouldnt be coming back here, Ill stick to my normal ulta. She then stated that shes the general manger and that any other ulta would struggle just as much as she did. I dont care about the struggle, the customer service at my regular ulta is 100 times better. They wouldnt have given me such a hard time about the stupid coupon and it sure as hell wouldnt have taken them 15 minutes to say if I give you a gift card would that be acceptable? They really need to work on their customer service at the Rochester location. Brandi also needs to work on her customer service skills the most so she can try to help her employees with their customer service. If I could rate this store zero stars I would.

Store was a mess, staff didnt say hello when I walked inside. Aside from a nice lady asking me if I needed help, I just walked around noticing how the shelves were literally dirty from spilled testers at the Bliss end aisle. It seems like ever since MAC & kylie jenner and a few other popular influencer brands came to Ulta, this store looks a congested mess! Even during the holidays it wasnt this messy and congested.I was stepping over people & products. Too many options just made me overwhelmed. I didnt buy the Toly Moly masks because all they had were sheet masks and the ingredients were written in Korean. I used to be an Ulta Beauty member back when they had platinum memberships. They changed their policies and now the once nice attentive staff at this location pretty much ignored me.I wont be back and Ill buy my Bliss & Toly Moly for Target & Macys.

Wonderful selection, many items I was interested in, but the packaging was lacking in explanation and the accompanying store written hype next to it had the same problem. The store was very staffed for how many customers were inside. I lingered for quite a long while before finally approaching a employee to inquire about a simple product which was the sole reason for my visit. She led me to a strange area and said this is where it would be and walked off. Looked a long time and disheartened at not finding it meandered around a bit. While looking at perfumes, which became a whole other debacle, I mentioned it in passing and a different staff member showed me an area in the very front right by the registers where they had 4 different kinds of the product I was seeking. A bit pricey, but I expected that upon seeing the selection and upscale brands they carried. The staff could benefit from more training.

This Ulta is the last choice on my list if i need to make a trip. I came during black friday and several occasions before that. During black friday, the manager ignored me. Didnt say a word to me and then here comes along a couple of girls, she acknowledges them and asks them if they need help. I walk by her a second time, she doesnt say a word to me and acknowledges the people walking behind me. I dont know if she is racist or whatever, but if I am going to be spending my money at a store where I am platinum status, i at least would like a hello when i walk through the door. When i went to check out, the associate asked if i had a rewards card. I said yes, let me find my card. She said she could put my phone number in. I said nicely no, its okay, i have my card with me. Let me find it real quick. As i go to grab my card, she rudely says just give me your phone number and i said no, its okay as i pull my card out of my wallet, then she snatched my card out of my hand to scan it and rolled her eyes. I like to use my card because there have been times where they didnt put my phone in correctly. Anyways, i never stop here and probably wont ever again because Ive only had bad experiences every time i do go here. I prefer the one in Lake Orion by Great Lakes Crossing. Much better customer service and friendlier staff and manager.

The employees here are rude and the store is a mess. Placing online orders to pick up in store take too long here, even if they’re not busy. I only go here sometimes because it’s close to my work.

Lately Ulta has been poorly stocked, very unorganized and dirty. Products are in the wrong places, packages are open, items to test are filthy dirty or broken. Staff stand around like there is nothing to do!!!

I used to really love this store but they have discontinued so many of my favorite products. Additionally, the store is always very messy and unorganized when I go there. Whenever I need something I just order online now because they have either discontinued the product from the shelf or its out when I need it.

I had a great experience with the woman who cut my hair. She did a nice job. I felt pampered and had fun. It was rather expensive, though.

I had my eyebrows done by Lercy at the Benefit Brow Bar. I am absolutely in love with them. I am a cosmetologist and i was growing out my brows to make them thicker. I was afraid to do them myself because i knew i would go crazy and wax off what i spent so long growing out. Everyone was friendly, and polite. The only down fall was one register was open for check out and that was a little time consuming. Other then that I had a great Experience. Also, The brow was was $21 and I also tipped. But the service was so worth it.

I came into the store knowing what I was looking for. I wanted to know if the store carried Skinfood and walked over to two ladies just standing around. I asked if they knew if they carried it and they said they had different products that would be great for the skin. They took me over to $60 creams and peels when I knew what I wanted, I just wanted to be pointed in the right direction. I will be ordering online directly from Skinfood instead of wasting time going into Ulta. Now I remember why I dont come into Ulta stores, too sales pushy.

I go to Ulta pretty regularly now and between Deborah and John and everyone else there they are always efficient friendly amazing and really care about not just styling your hair but the health of your hair!

Every salon has their hidden treasure and DANA is this ones for sure. She saved my hair. I let someone else do an Ombre on me and it turned out horrible, and my hair is my best quality so this was a big deal. After crying in the salon, I scheduled an appointment the next day with Dana and she fixed the damage 100%. Now I have a gorgeous ombre and a new favorite hair stylist. Her talents( and good charming personality) need more recognition!!

Staff was not helpful at all. I asked several different people to help and they just kept pointing me to different people without taking the time to walk me over to them. I am extremely displeased with the service. So many people working and nobody could find the time to help me out. Ulta is wasting their money paying the majority of staff to just chit chat with each other.

This is one of the best Ultas ive been in. They have all the brands even the small ones like Colourpop, Beauty Bakerie, BH Cosmetics, and Morphe. It also has a bigger selection. I live closer to another location, but I will travel to this one because it is 10x better.

Sales staff is rude rude rude. Little did I know I was such an inconvenience for just walking into the store. Shame on me for asking for help, the sales staff should never have to move, even to check in the back for anything. This is their store, customers are just in it. I will buy my products elsewhere. These eye rolls and heavy sigh of inconvenience just isnt worth it. I will say THANK YOU to this staff, for reminding me how body language can communicate so very much. I will use this opportunity to know how NOT to behave in front of my clients.

Staff in the prestige section were gossipy and rude. While I walk around in ulta I tend to swatch shadows and lippies(shocking I know) but whenever I went to any pallet or any kind of product I was met by a less than helpful sales associate who told me that I would not be able to afford the products. I am a woman who makes enough money and it is none of her business what I can and cannot afford. I will not be returning to this location or this chain for a long while. For those who wish to know the SA who was beyond rude was about 54 and has absolutely no knowledge of what shade of lipliner matches or even goes with her lipstick and an atrocious attitude. She has light brown hair light skin and seemed to be a manager.
