A&G hardware is terrific! I had a patio set that needed chair tips. The size was not standard. Matt problem solved and fixed me up with the right fit. I had gone to two other hardware stores before going to A&G Hardware. I needed help and Matt went the extra mile and I’m grateful.

McBrides was a good hardware. I also knew the family well. The new owner and son have continued the friendly service. I always find what I need. Matt is very knowledgeable and helpful. Recommended a product to get rid of Boxelder bugs. They have never come back. Home Defense. Also many other products over the years. Highly recommend .

1st class - the smallest hardware store in the area, but great service and they always have what I need!These guys are a great source of knowledge as well. They can point you in the right direction and supply much of your needs too.

A delightful, slightly old school hardware store. Dont let the seemingly diminutive size fool you - this place is well and thoughtfully stocked. If you cant find it, ask. If they dont have it, it really doesnt belong in a general purpose hardware store.Be sure to look up and around as you browse.

I have to say Im beyond surprised at the service I received in this store. I knew it was a good place to go and heard great things from others, too. But I needed some significant assistance as a single mother, and they went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. This was repeated more than once; that they wanted to make sure I was a happy customer and had everything I needed. I didnt know people did business this way anymore! I thought it was a thing of the past. Hey, sometimes being a single mother, you can use some advice you can count on, and not from someone whose first interest is profit. In my situation, I get that a lot. It was obvious and plain to see that customer service was number one. I was reminded there are still decent people who care about more than their bottom line. You cant even find anyone in the large chains to help, never mind someone who will spend time and show genuine concern and interest in your project -- while saving YOU time! It just doesnt happen, and I cant be bothered with those places anymore! It is stressful to shop in the big chains, walking the aisles trying to find a person or an item, so why not walk out feeling it was time well spent (much more efficient in this store)? And that you are doing business with people who actually appreciate it. Dont hesitate, this place is as good as it gets. A sincere thanks to them, they made my life easier!

Love this place - I regret not going here more often and sooner. I’ve always defaulted to going to big box hardware but this place has a good selection and TOP NOTCH customer service.If you haven’t given them your business, give them a chance to earn it.
