I went to F&F tire world on alpine in Rockford that I always take my cars to and spent thousands and thousands over the years. I had a problem with my back license plate and figured well they will help. I’ll pay them. No. I was told by josh he couldn’t help does not have anyone while he stood behind the desk by the computer. Why couldn’t he help? A little customer service for someone who always is a loyal customer? I said ok shaking my head I’ll go across the street he said ok. Firestone is across the street and they were amazing were happy to help and even had new clips delivered from autozone at no charge. Thanks Miranda you were great and I will be bringing my cars to you from now on. Thanks again.

This Firestone location was amazing! We were in a rental car with a flat tire, and they got us right in on a Sunday morning with no appointment, and were really great connecting with the rental car company and helping us get it taken care of. We were back on the road about an hour later. Great people, great service, highly recommend!!

My husband has taken the car to get realined. Twice now they say nothing wrong with it. Even tho if you let go of the steering wheel. Your going to end up in the ditch. We got the same tech twice now. He says theres nothing wrong. This is totally inappropriate business edict. Now there says theres a bad bolt even tho they havent looked under it. This place is ridiculous. The female manager there tried her best. But if the mechanics are stupid theres no hope.

Alpine store has always been good service. Just had 2 new tires put on and they even put the donut tire and jack all back in place, wasnt expecting that. Friendly, professional staff and clean waiting room.

Let me start off by saying, the Alpine store is by far the most Honest and Service oriented of the stores in the area. After visiting other locations, the Alpine store was definitely the best. The mechanic was thorough and found issues that I knew but I was waiting on parts to fix. The other locations did not even find those. Pete and Tim were phenomenal! I definitely recommend this store.

Had a tire issues on Sunday 10/18/20 while camping in the area. They got me in the same day within an hour. I dont recall the womans name who answered the phone when I called and helped us when we came in, but she was awesome. She was fast, polite, and seemed as if she really likes what shes doing. Definitely someone I would want representing my business.

Two hours to swap wheels out. I would think scheduling means when the cars getting worked on, not an hour later. Gave me a list of things that need fixing (had it in a real shop where it gets its fleet maintenance done yesterday). *Update* after getting the bill, I thought tuffy was the biggest rip off in rockford. $140 for my tires to get swapped to my rims, something a child could do, is horrendous. Go any where but here.

I had a flat tire (Father’s Day) I call multiple tire stores, the only place I found was FireStone, I called they were extremely busy, the customer service rep found my size tire and got my company truck back on the road.2 weeks later on Sunday, the tire on the other side of truck went flat, I called and got a appointment for the following day.Both times, my truck fixed in a reasonable amount of time.GREAT JOBINTEGRITY POWER WASH

I never went. Why? My parents spent WAY too much money on work that didnt need to be performed on their vehicles, work was done to their vehicles that wasnt approved, their diagnostics is shoddy at best, and their work quality was mediocre. Theyre VERY FEW shops in Rockford that are good and reliable anymore. Id suggest searching out of the city unless you know a good one. I dont have to worry myself with Rockford anymore, thank God!My parents rarely leave reviews for places, theyll just take their business elsewhere; hence what Im here for.

The managers here are both very good. My car had a muffler problem and they were fast to diagnose it and make recommendations about where to have it repaired affordably since they only replace mufflers. So far, good experiences here. A little pricey for other services.

Firestone is not the place to go for any maintenance on your vehicle unless it’s tires or an oil change. My previous experiences with them were great because I only had them service my tires or to receive an oil change. My most recent visit was HORRIBLE. I waisted OVER 2 hours and 30 minutes of my time to not have my car serviced for something an EMPLOYEE RECOMMENDED! I brought my vehicle back for the THIRD time to be told something was broken by a EMPLOYEE and that I now needed a new fixture. My power steering is not working due to a wrongful wiring, and I now have NO HEADLIGHTS! They did nothing to try fixing my vehicle. The STORE MANAGER didn’t even face me to attempt to solve a problem HER EMPLOYEE created. I DO NOT recommend them for any maintenance other than tires and oil changes and I will no longer be back.

My husband, children, and I were traveling from Florida to Minnesota when we realized that we had run over a nail and had a significant leak in our front tire. We were 25 miles from Rockford and John and Ray stayed late to take a look at the tire and in the end to replace both front tires for us. You could see that they had worked tirelessly all day already when we arrived but still stayed for us. They were compassionate, understanding, incredibly helpful, and we were, and still are, tremendously grateful. They are the best!!!

Ive never been to a car repair shop that has been so caring about its customers, whatever you need to have done whether it be an oil change or a big repair this is definitely a great place to take your car. I was blown away by the prices they offer and how they dont try to sell you unnecessary things like the rest do.

Might be an okay place if they would fix their online appointments. Unfortunately I never got past making an appointment. I made what I thought was an appointment for an alignment for 5 pm. I showed up 15 minutes early and was told they didnt have my appointment and the 5 pm slot was already filled. I had gotten an email about my appointment stating that if I couldnt have this time someone would contact me by phone to reschedule. I never received a call and drove over planning on getting my alignment. I wasnt very happy when I was told there was no appointment. Ill take my vehicle maintenance needs elsewhere.

I called about an alignment and got badgered by an employee. Nasty comments and telling me I should of bought from Firestone and that I made a poor choice! Rude! Made it easy for me I just wont ever go to Firestone.

I called the Firestone today to set up my warranty lifetime alignment that I bought with Firestone for my vehicle just for the Charles at the Alpine location to let me know that he cannot do my alignment and that he did not sell me the alignment and that I should go back to Texas where I bought the alignment and get it done whats the point of buying lifetime alignment if Im just going to be told that it cant be done he also told me that it probably wasnt done correctly to begin with since most stores dont have a toe spreader and then as I got irritated because he was telling me no he said I was getting hostile I told him I wasnt getting hostile and that he didnt deserve it and brushed me off to a 1-800 number that I can talk to somebody and i think this is funny since the number he gave me I cant talk to anybody because theyre only open Monday through Friday so how is he resolving my problem

They always treat us fairly and Ive always been happy with their service. Prices seem very fair as well. I would recommend this place to my friends.

Got back home and had my new car looked over, everything was the same as when I purchased it... Same informative info was given... This store is a little sloppy compared to the nice Lombard store I had just been at, but still just as helpful... Thanks guys !!!

Went in for an alignment appointment after I changed a tierod. Dropped the car off before my 4pm appointment as the guy called and asked for me to get it there earlier because they wanted to get off at 530 that day instead of 6 when they close. Got a call around 430 saying my upper ballpoint on my driverside was kinda wore and the wheel bearing was making noise. Said they wanted to do that work before the alignment. I asked if they could correct the alignment first and then I would get the upper ball joint and tierod done later. They said they would align it the best they could went in at 530 to pick it up paid $110 for an alignment drove off and the wheel was still crooked just like before. After calling and arguing with them which a customer should never have to do. He first said they aligned it the best they could and then changed his story to. We can align it for you after you get other work doneIn other words I paid for an alignment that wasnt done because they wanted to clean up early and take off from work. Thanks for stealing money from me and wasting my time.

The sales rep couldnt tell me anything about tires except that her boss has a set that she liked. Also very loud very weird music playing in the lobby very uncomfortable and made it hard to focus. Will not be buying my tires or doing business here.

Apparently our black G6 is jinxed or something. Cause, we keep getting flats on the same side. Back passenger tire. 3Xs in less then a year. Every time i go to Firestone they are more than happy to help. Very courteous. Thanks.

I stopped by without an appointment after receiving news from my car dealership that I needed new spark plugs for my Jeep. Firestone got me in right away and performed the needed service at over 1/3 savings from the dealership. Very courteous and professional service.

I always enjoy getting my car worked on at fire stone. The staff is always friendly and never try and get me to buy something my car needs. Sometimes they take a little longer than I hope, but they get the job done and done right the first time.

Made an appointment online the night before, said they would get ahold of me if there was a problem, they never did so I go there and they tell me there busy I could leave the car it would be about 2 hours unacceptable .

Had some tires i had ordered from tire rack installed by them and i would have to say i am not very happy. i had a special request to have the flat tire in the truck replaced with the other 3 tires that needed them. they didnt do what i said and ended up replacing the four on the car and the spare that was on the car was brand new so i dont know why that didnt pull a red flag with them, but i noticed this and said something and they mounted the good spare tire back on the flat tire i left in the trunk, so as far as that they are at lease willing to fix a problem. now the bad part. they ended up putting a big gash on the spare tire that was on the car that was never used before and they said they didnt cause it but they would send it in to corprate (looks like someone dropped there impact while the socket was spinning and damaged the rim) and i had a bunch of new scratches on a the other rims that they said they didnt do, even though i know they were not there cause i wash the car every week. so if you got alloys or custom rims i would stay away cause their tire technicians (if you want to call them that) dont take very good care of what they work on.

I wudnt give even one star but i have to. my complaint is.they call themselves COMPLETE AUTO SERVICE but they can NOT pull a motor out and put in another. what kinda of shop calls itself complete auto but can not pull a motor??

The worst. Dropped my car off 45 minutes before my appointment and got a call 10 minutes before they closed (5 and a half hours after my appointment ) Saying they couldnt do work on it after not being able to get parts they told me they could get. Then threatened that it would stay there till the following day if i didnt pick it up within the next 8 minutes. Havent had customer service that bad in forever.

Gone here several times as i have a lifetime alignment with Firestone. The last two alignments I have got from them are very evidently lazy. If a particular spec is off but technically still within tolerance they will not touch it. I personally like everything as close to center as possible (I know my vehicle is capible) it feels better and lasts longer. Also the reason Im writting this review, the last two times they left scratches on my vehicle, one time it looks like that dragged an airhose across about two feet of my quarter panel, another time it looked as if they backed into something. Both times I was lucky as they were only in the clearcoat and i keep my vehicle well waxed, however, they clearly pay no attention to detail and my vehicle will not be going here again. What if the next time it happens to be a screw driver that gets dragged across my paint? No thankyou, Im not chancing it.
