We just moved up here. My daughters first pair of glasses at 8 years old and this team is amazing! Rick is so wonderful! He took so much time helping my daughter to find the 2 perfect frames! I missed the school deal by 1 day 😫 So next year I’m doing this early! I’m so incredibly please by Dr. Patels knowledge and being so caring! Amazing team work!!!!!!

The best experience ever. Stellar customer service. Usually you go into the store and they say 2 pairs for X amount of dollars, and you never get the 2 pairs. Not true here. It was exactly what they said. 2 pairs of progressive no line bi-focal glasses and one pair was sunglasses for $107. They fit right, they look nice and I got exactly what I paid for. The staff was excellent.

This place is amazing. While waiting for my eye exam, I was helped by Tiffany in picking out frames that fit my style. She was very knowledgeable about the different styles and what she thought i would like based on what I said I was looking for...After my eye exam, I was helped by Lyndsay, who helped me pick out lenses for both pairs of glasses and what color tint to get for one pair of glasses. She too was knowledgeable about the different lenses (i.e. no glare, scratch resistant, no line bifocal, etc). I will be highly recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a place to get eye glasses. This has become my new place.for anything eye glass related.

Went the28th nov. for exam and glasses. all went well until dr. patel walked in and wanted to know something i knew nothing about,he just kept insisting that i must know it.know what i have no idea. it was as if i was getting interagated. it wasnt until i told him i must have the wrong dr. and he agreed.i left with some dignity that i wasnt guilty of a serious crime that he was trying to put on me. thats a dr. that should not work with the public.imagine the eyeglass business could do better also without him.

Very thorough. They asked first about the prescription, then about if we had insurance. Or insurance company doesnt use them but they have just expanded their Network at eyewear express and offered to double check. I had just verified with our insurance and they were a bone covered facility. That being said we still come every year due to the pricing for progressive lenses with bifocals two pair discount. We then do not need the lens insurance. Plus our youths glasses are not any more expensive than the facilities with our insurance. Which is AWESOME!!! THEY ARE QUICK! They give you the time to choose what you want without pressure. My specialty glasses do take a few minutes more to do but not much over the expected time frame. Once I committed to my frames they cut the lenses and had them ready in 30 minutes. I understand they take the floor model of the frame and fit it but it was exciting to get my glasses right away. Brought in my own prescription, no waiting, sales person well trained, in and out in less than 30 minutes with 2 good quality frames and lenses for less than 300.00. Even though their machine was down, had the glasses in 2 days. I dont think you can beat that.

I took my son here to see if I could get him some glasses quicker than his insurance company was gunna have them ready and it was a very simple, easy process. The woman who helped us (Tiffany) explained things well and gave us a coupon so our frames ended up being free! We only paid for the lenses which we chose the poly Carbonite ones so they were a little more but the glasses were ready within like 25 minutes and my baby loves them!

I am totally impressed by the level of care I received and what I learned about my eyes that no other eye dryad told me I needed care for my eyelids. Other eye drs just had me use eye drops that didn’t work so I always had dry eyes. I recommend this office for any one who needs glasses!!

I went in expecting one pair to be very high priced, I was quickly greeted and told about their deals and ended up leaving with 2 pairs, both with warranties on the lenses. 30 minutes later they were both finished and the fitted them behind my ears before I left. I took my daughter there for an eye exam and the lady who filled the glasses prescription (Jane) said I could bring her other pair of glasses anytime and wouldnt be charged. So naturally I took them in now mind you I dont live locally. I went there and was helped by another lady (Marie) who says nope youre wrong that will cost you 80 dollars and some change. I explained to Marie what Jane had said to me and she handled the situation very unprofessionally. She yelled at me and continued to tell me that I was wrong even though I was going off what I was told. I tried to call back after I walked out and Marie answered and I asked to speak to the manager... she then tells me very rudely well I already told my manager what is going on and youre still wrong she tells me and then claims he was helping a customer. Tried again and of course she answered so I hung up. I left it at that, but I will never buy glasses from them. I will however get my exams and contacts cause thats through Shah vision consultants.

The gentleman that works in the eyewear express is always friendly, a constant in the store. He always makes sure your new glasses fit great and are adjusted properly. I have been a customer for many years and will wait to make sure I get him to help me.

I needed to get some replacement glasses quickly and I didnt want use my vision benefits yet. I was able to get in and out very quickly. I was told my glasses would be ready in 2 hours. But I got a message in 44 mins that both pair were ready. That was just yesterday but so far Im loving them.

They promised to have my glasses ready by 10 business days. It has been more than 20 days and it wasnt ready. I made the glasses specially to wear it for wedding party outside the country. I traveled without the chance to get my glasses ready. After I came back home (in 8 days), I call them and they said it was not ready yet. I cancelled the order. They disappointed me and for the second time, I lost the chance to get benefit from my insurance. They are horrible.

I was in need of glasses and because my vision insurance would only allow me to acquire frames every other year, I needed to find something affordable. I was impressed with the pricing these guys had to offer so I thought Id give them a shot. Jane was very helpful with the selection of new frames and was very thorough explaining my options for lenses. She also told me they would be ready in an hour. I was expecting a longer turnaround time frame, like 72-96 hours for a place with ridiculously low prices. It was close to the one hour mark and I received the text alert that my glasses were ready. I went back in and Cynthia took care of making sure my new glasses fit and made sure my frames were of the appropriate adjustment.

Quality product for a good price. I only paid $60 more for 2 pairs of glasses without insurance than I would have at my optometrist for 1 pair with insurance.

Went in for a refund today after being told last week that my lenses were being ordered because they were out of stock, and then stopping by today to get an estimated time frame for completion to then be told they were ordered because they dont carry them (note: not because they were out of stock), and that itd be another week minimum before they were ready. And this was the second attempt at getting glasses because according to them, my first prescription was too low to make (even though they grind the lenses down to prescription themselves - told to me by the manager tonight). So after being told several different things and being lied to, the manager made sure to give me my money back pretty quickly and clear my insurance claim to get me out of the door as fast as possible. Dont ever go there. Worst service Ive ever received.

Paid for an eye exam for my fiance. Was told her prescription didnt change. Also paid for 2 frames. One with the anti- glare lenses. Came out to just under $250. The guy bent the frames excessively around her ears and cut arms of the frames down on the other pair way down to where they put pressure on the back of her ears. So I got 2 bad pairs of frames. When I went back, they did offer to replace the frames. They replaced one of the frames and proceeded to bend the frames excessively again. We have up at that point. Got her an eye exam at the Walmart and this one said her prescription did change and now I have to get her some frames that fit her right. Good money dump at eyewear express. Costed me over $250 after you figure in driving out there from Belvidere twice. 👍

My daughter and I have been going to Dr. Shah and EE for years, and have never been anything but satisfied with the experience and service. Dr. Shah and staff are professional, courteous, and thorough. They are focused on the exam, which is fine with us - this isnt a social event. The EE staff are great at helping to pick out frames. While weve always taken estimated wait and delivery times with a grain of salt because its a high volume business, Ive never had an issue with glasses being ready or delivered on time. Over the years, weve only had one quality issue with frames, and it was resolved quickly and at no additional cost to us.

The appointment and staff were friendly enough, but they screwed me out of a $50 rebate by giving me a coupon that I couldnt use three days after my original purchase. They messed up my order anyways and gave me a 6 month supply when I asked for a year so I wouldnt even be able to use the rebate even if I did buy it on the correct date.

I went yesterday April 21, 2018 to order glasses it was around 3:30 p.m. the saleswoman said you can order but you may not get them until Monday to which I replied well yall dont close until 5 so shouldnt I get them in an hour? She said I just want to have you mad at me if theyre not ready today because you still have to pick your frames.That wasnt going to be hard I was there for a special on progressives being like $77 for 2 pair of you choose the $19.99 frames. I knew my options would be limited and I was prepared for that since these were being ordered for extras while I wait for my other 3 pair to be delivered.I respected her honesty and being safe rather than sorry if they couldnt get the order done in time.I picked my frames and was done with my purchase by 3:48 p.m. shed spoken to the lab and they confirmed the order would be ready in an hour. I left to go up the street to pick up some things at Walmart and by 4:04 p.m. I received a text stating my glasses were ready for pickup.When I arrived at about 4:50 p.m. I was fitted, given care instructions, explanations about how progressives work for the top, middle and bottom and on my way out before 5 p.m.Quality care and service!

Dr. Shah is INCREDIBLY rude. I went myself a few years back and never went back again. My mother who was going through chemo was very excited to come in and get new glasses and he was so rude to her it almost brought her and I to tears. I had forgotten he was the doctor there otherwise I wouldve found a better place to take my mother. I fully regret not flipping out on him for being such a trashy, unprofessional optometrist. Who gave this guy his license? Not only is he rude to his patients but I also heard him swearing and trash talking his employees on the floor.

Silly unprofessional want to be bigger than they really are!!! The unhelpful unpleasant nature of this location is one of the worst Ive ever seen at an eye/Optometrist doctors office. The very rude suspicious acting staff even at the desk and the phony want to be doctor who left me in the office and didnt have the decency to say THANK YOU after l gave her a very generous compliment...really made me feel sorry for her and for even being extremely tolerant of this awful location. RIP OFF .... they charged my husband 121.10 for glasses which is ok but then a seperate charge of 183.00, because he hadnt met his deductible yet, so they helped him by charging him what was left on his deductible, so if he has to go to another doctor he wont have to pay anything, when I pushed the issue of them ripping him off they said he agreed to pay it so be it. Stay as far away from this place as possible .... not trust worthy at all .......

He had no idea what he was doing he rushed the extam, and the perscription he gave me was so far off that my own eye doctor just could not believe how off the perscription was!! The glasses were way over priced and made poorly!! Just a horrible place to go for something as important as your sight!!
