Looking for a new TV, my wife and I stopped in to Primetime Audio to compare. Will greeted us and educated us on the newest products. In the 10 years since we bought our old Sony alot has changed. We have been going to Primetime for many years for our television,stereo,and home security. All the people we have dealt with are knowledgeable in the products we have purchased. The sales rep Will is the man we like to talk to. Some of the brand names are the same that the big box stores have but Primetime caries better model’s of the units so there is a price concern. When you know it’s a higher end model your willing to pay a little more. Will knows his product very well and no problem explaining anything your not sure of. Nice place to deal with. Jay Durstock
Every time we shop at Primetime it’s a great experience. I have been working with Will for over a decade and have bought many TVs and receivers from him. Primetime has outstanding customer service! I had an issue with my Bose surround sound system and visited the Rockford store. The people there were extremely helpful and patient with an old dog like me. I scheduled an in-home visit (from over 40 miles away) and the technician (Brian) was very impressive. Brian fixed the problems I was having with our entertainment system and the cost was even less than I was expecting. What a great company!

We walked in and were immediately acknowledged with a hello, how are you. My brother was there for a new tv which he did buy and was very pleased with the no pressure service. I then proceeded to inquire about the antennas. We have been wanting to permanently cut the cord for years. Absolutely no pressure. Very economical and reasonably priced installation! We have had a very snowy winter and they are still able to install. It is only 3 days after we purchased the product and they came out today to install it on the roof which was the option we chose. They do give you different options on where you can have it installed. I definitely recommend that anyone that is going with an antenna to look into this company company. I was pleasantly surprised! I will be back for other services because of the way they treated my brother with his television and the price they offered him as well as, the way they treated us with our antenna service and the prices they offered us!

Their website advertised a specific item that I wanted to purchase, even though in another state. Hard to find item. They confirmed it was in stock but when asked for shipping cost and timeframe, they refused to give a price and time, saying they were too small of company to take risk of shipping anything. Hard to even get a specific person on the phone who knew anything. I would recommend staying away from them for any online ordering. Go buy from them if you live down the street, but otherwise, go see best buy or someone else.FOLLOW UP - And to make it worse ... their response to my review below is a COMPLETE LIE. They said I told them I have relatives in the area that could pick up unit. Never said that as its not true. I only asked them for shipping cost and turn time and after asking 8-10 times, they said they didnt want to ship anything after someone earlier said they would. Liars and deceptive. Avoid them.

First time visited this location. Clean, well organized, and showrooms are phenomenal! My Subwoofer went out and needed a replacement quickly before the holiday begin. I was referred by a buddy of mines. The staff there were great! Austin guide me to the right direction for a perfect subwoofer replacement for home theater system. I ended up with SVS PB2000 Pro. This is by far the best subwoofer I’ve ever experienced for a home theater system. Highly recommend them if you ever need any home sound system upgrades! Knowledgeable staff as well! I will be coming back for my future upgrades.

Prime Time video was more than a pleasant experience! Randy was a great person to deal with. Very knowledgeable and not pushy. Showed me all the TVs that I was interested in and they were all in stock. At this time they were very busy so had to wait a couple of weeks for delivery but well worth it. Chad and George did the installation. Couldn’t ask for better guys! Was very fun to have these guys at my place. Very personable and polite young men. Talk to them about Xbox and other game devises. They both had good information. George was programming the tv and said that if I was gonna get an Xbox I need another hgmi cable so they took the tv down and installed that for me. BE VERY CAREFUL WITH SERVICE WORK! No disclosure on service fees! I had over $5,000 worth of equipment and service done for our home audio system, I knew it would be expensive but I just wanted it done. A few months later my Bose sound touch stopped working I called and told them that was the problem alright we will send someone out they drop a bill for $129 to install it (plug it in and a minute or two to set it up). Not at any point was there any mention that there would be a charge, especially $129 at 1/2 hour. 7 sent bills later I finally call to tell them how the bill is unjust and I will not pay. we have been doing it this way since 94 does not mean its right, you cant just charge without letting the customer know what your fees are or that there will be any fees at all. $5,000 and they lose my business over $129! Ill let the owners know Heres a tip! Be upfront with your customers and then they can decide what they would like to spend their money on. Nobody wants an unexpected bill, especially from something THEY chose to install and didnt even last a few months.

Reached out to primetime via the text feature on the website. I was in need of a new grill and wanted to buy locally. Seeing as they where broilking dealers what not a better place to look. I was contacted back in a short time and communicated with a rep named Austin. He did a great Job communicating all day and ended up finding me the perfect grill. After the sale was finalized I was contacted by the delivery coordinator Eric. He set up a delivery three days later. The delivery showed up 45 minutes early and everything was perfect. My TV died yesterday, May 13, 2020...smack in the middle of the Covid-19 shutdown. I was in a slight panic, thinking what else could go wrong,....phoned the Primetime # and was assisted immediately by Will Rowell. Will was very patient in listening to my situation. I explained that I have limited tech skills, no mechanical ability. I have relied on my husband of 40 years to provide the necessary electronic toys. Im now a widow and need a lot of help in shopping from home to replace my 30 year old TV.Will spent a lot of time guiding me to web sites, helping me figure out the size and style of the cabinet/choice of TV, etc. Long story, longer...My new toy will be delivered, installed, all programmed for action TOMORROW between 3 and 5 pm. This will be done by Eric, who will make sure it all works before he places the remote in my hand and hauls all the old stuff.My vocabulary cannot come close to describing how thrilled I am to have encountered such a delightful, competent, patient person as Will Rowell.I know that everyone has their own story to go with their Coved-19 isolation worries....Will has solved a HUGE problem for me. I was on the market to replace a tv and was concerned about pricing and frankly buying the correct TV for the room from size and picture to the type of picture. I went to a big box store and the dept of knowledge wasnt there. I headed to Prime Time and Will (Super Smart and Professional). We spent about an hour talking about my requirements. He showed me the differnet types of pictures and directed me to the one that would best fit the room and my specs and budget. SUPER HAPPY with the purchase and the way he took care of the whole transaction. I have been back often to ask questions and make additional purchases. From cables and furniture to TVs and speakers. Ive been dealing with them for four years Everyone from the Gm Kirk to the installers and guys in Service (Dan) to my guy Will. I dont write many reviews but these guys are the best in town and thought I would let you know.

One star is too much for a rating. Our home video surveillance system worked for a while but it was a downhill run to the bottom and was a waste of money and a waste of our time. We found another security company that installed a high quality HD system that works and has exceptional quality and a better warranty with better service. Please stick to selling TVs, not security camera systems.

Prime time Audio /Video has terrible telephone customer service, it is is similar to the Dell computers customer service, if you dont have an extension you get the OWNERs voice mail. I paid for a Dish Network installation and did not hear from the installation dept for a week, well Dish Network charged me $88.05 for the first month already and did not hear from Prime time until Friday a week later after I had called their office all week and left voice mails for the owner Eric. PrimeTime installers are the best installers I have ever had. I think the problem is the owner does not know how to run a retail business with customer service. I would definitely never suggest primetime to any of my friend. They never answer there phones. It must be new owners.
Purchased a television and the following week it went on sale, asked them to honor the price and they wouldn’t. Bad customer service on their part especially when Best Buy is across the street with the same deals. Lost my business
