Mike was friendly and professional and took the time to explain the entire diagnostic on my truck including photos of the various findings. They werent able to fix the problem as it involved work that was still under warranty from another shop but I cant imagine how I could have been treated better. I will definitely use Jack Dane Auto in Rocklin as my first stop with any auto issues.

I used this shop for a pre-purchase inspection. Mike stayed on the phone with me quite a bit to really explain what he thought about the car and what the long term costs would probably be. Brought my 2002 Jeep Wrangler in for a cylinder misfire. I was able to book appointment quickly. Tried other places and it was a two week wait. Got in on the first appointment requested. They called timely with updates on progress and efficent in repair. Very friendly staff. This will be my go to place for car repairs.

I think they do a very great job servicing my AC, Trans, alignment and oil change. Note they are not the cheapest. I wouldnt go here if you are looking for maintenance on your vehicle. Oil Change is 4 times the average. Transmission is twice the cost and labor is higher than standards.

Couldnt get an estimate for the work I needed to have done on my vehicle. Guess they are too busy.Only wanted a quick estimate to see if it was worth the cost, or just do the work myself. Tried to tell me they had to see it before giving quote. Wrong attitude for me.

These people are amazing and extremely knowledgeable of cars! Im from Utah and had 3 different mechanics look at my truck that had a vampire draw, thats what Utah people call it. Once I gave car docs a chance they figured out the draw in less than an hour! When I drive back to California, Ill definitely be getting a tune up from these guys and gal again!

I was gratefully referred to Car Docs by a coworker when I lived in Sacramento. A few years ago I moved to Southern California but haven’t found a good mechanic there yet and I have to drive to Northern California several times a year so I choose to still use them for my maintenance. I can not rave about these guys enough. They are extremely qualified, always great work, always a fair price, and though they are always super busy they do what work needs to be done in record time. I’m so impressed and can only hope I could be so lucky finding a place this great where I live. I highly recommend Car Docs to anyone for any car maintenance. Had issues with my car AC. Took it to The Cars Docs and they diagnosed the issue within hours. It took an additional day to fix but they were totally willing to help me out with transportation. I cant say enough about how professional this business is. Today, the owner texted me to ask how my car was..just blown away by how polite, professional, and courteous this shop is. 100 percent would recommend to anyone who needs a car repaired. Excellent place to take your car for repairs especially if youre a Veteran))) all Veterans receive 10% discount whenever they bring their car to them. They fixed my car in a timely manner and it was very reasonably priced. I decided to have them do all kinds of repairs to my car because I intend on keeping it up nice and in good condition always. I recommend them to everybody. As far as Im concerned they are better than any shop Ive ever been to and I will continually take it back to them for repairs.

Scott is AMAZING. He used to be located out of Orangevale and we followed him to this location. He is honest and makes everything pretty easy to understand even with my limited knowledge of cars. We take all our cars to him for tune ups and check engine lights. He works on a variety of different car types. Last time I was there he had a Corvette on lifts and my 02 Honda Civic and we were picking up my dads Toyota Sequoia. My whole family trusts Scott and you should too!

The alternator in my sons car shorted out and his car died suddenly on the side of the road away from home. After an attempt to change it in the dark at near freezing temperatures and not being able to break the bolt free with hand tools that I had I gave up and limped the car to the nearest mechanic and just left the key in the night drop slot. Luckily the nearest mechanic happened to be Car Docs.They had the car ready by lunchtime, even though it was dropped off without an appointment. Communication was great, and the shop area that I saw was amazingly clean and organized. They even checked back with me about a week after the work was done to make sure that everything was still running well. I couldnt have asked for a better experience.

Ive made three calls to this place when theyre open to make an inquiry and Ive gotten a message to leave a remote access code each time. Everyone on yelp and otherwise loves this place, but it shouldnt be so hard to make an appt.

WOW !!! I am a truck driver living in Hawaii. So we fly over for a few months at a time to come trucking. Hence we bought a lill car. We brought it in for brake problems, an electrical and an oil change. We told Scott we didnt know when we need get back out with a load and once out we dont know when we will be back ... So making appt can be tough.Ah no problem he says... If problem is not fixed by time u leave we can keep it here !! When he heard the truck yard was nearby he even set up to bring our car back to the yard after it is fixed ...My goodness... He is going above and beyond to serve his customers... I have been to several mechanics in the Roseville/Rocklin area and thankfully found Scott at The Car Docs. The guy is great, he fixed the mistake and shotty work a different local shop did to my vehicle and charged a more than fair price. Highly recommend him. Moreover, he is a small local business owner trying to make it in a sea of shops who take no pride in their work nor care about their customers.
