Everything about Whole Foods is great except I notice a customer in with one of those miniature dogs and totally unclean all over! Now in a place of food and drinks naturally cleanliness and sanitation are of utmost importance and with this unclean dog, well you get the picture! I think this is a terrible ruling that Montgomery County has, dogs in a grocery store to relieve owners distress! What about the majority of customers who although some of them may like dogs, nevertheless they dont want them anywhere near their food?!Dog hair, dandruff, bacteria and viruses particular to them and of course their bathroom issues, all near our food!! Its ridiculous and sickening to say the least!
Already overpriced and now they raise prices. Staff is lazy, and likes to make sure you know they are in charge. One of my friends adult child who is very responsible was trying to get a job there but wasn’t even interviewed and then you see more than half the staff in that place completely incompetent sometimes impolite. I go there 4-5 times a week because of course the quality of the products is good but for the price we pay, we expect more professionalism as well.
Fresh, convenient, but also expensive. Beef is worth the price and the service is great. Great location for a store, safe and clean. I get all of my fancy food from their store in particular.
Love whole foods generally, but this location is terrible. Have placed a few online orders for pickup and delivery, and recently had orders cancelled hours after placing them, after the store had closed, and was notified by Amazon that not a single item in the order was available and that whole foods had cancelled (10 plus items, all ordinary items which were in stock at the time of placing the order.) very unreliable. Whole Foods has said to contact Amazon. Amazon has said to contact whole foods. No accountability or responsibility, and no dinner or groceries as a result of this.
Fresh shucked oysters were delicious! I had four dozen but remembered to take the pictures almost to late! Great staff and excellent customer service always!
Wonderful market! I shopped here by myself for the first time and my experience is one I’ll definitely want to have again! My cashier, Frida, was very amiable and engaging with customers! Very nice sense of humor! I love the ambiance it brings when you walk in. Whole Foods is by far the best market I’ve been to and I personally don’t like supermarkets much😅the environment is just very welcoming. This is definitely gonna be my go-to supermarket from now on. I’m very pleased with my experience, thank you guys!
Clean and nicely located in a good neighborhood. They used to have a large indoor dining area but about 90 percent of it has been taken over by Amazon prime cabinets for pick ups of sorts. Rude staff at the station where they cook burgers - keeps on rolling their eyes at any question or to simply order.
Great breakfast bar food, sales on Suja, Amazon prime discount and my friendly cashier had a free sample bag for me!
Great place, great food. Not the cheapest, but it keeps good quality food items. Fruit cake ( $20 and 30) is great. For birthday or any party, you can choose this item.
Whole Foods Market is always something to behold, and this outlet on 11355 Woodglen Dr, Rockville has its own notable take. with a seeming orientation towards nuts, dried beans and pulses, and a nut grinder (!). Whole Foods has asserted its place in the retail market so people go there knowing costs are what they are so there is little point commenting on price. Staff are knowledgeable about products and gave detailed answers about options for a product this time which makes for excellent point of sale support.
Decent, great place! Excellent meat and fish departments, lots of ready-made food for lunch and dinner!
What a wonderful store. Yes it’s pricey. Not actually aware of those price reductions their advertising, but it’s high quality. Stick with the name brands for toothpaste and deodorant the natural stuff they sell does not quite do the job. Come on you guys know what I mean. Otherwise the store is like an experience from bakery to soaps to cakes to makeup to fresh gourmet meats. When you’re done go to the salad bar, which is far more than salad, and grab your lunch sit down and look out the window in the café.
Today I had an exceptional customer service encounter! Sissy assisted me unloading my vehicle to return items to Amazon and transferred the items to the Amazon desk. He refused a tip. I recently fractured my left hand and could not lift the heavy items. I applaud Whole Foods for their excellent customer service
Its whole foods. Its expensive but thats life. The cost of quality foods organically grown I suppose
I, like most people dont like to spend so much on groceries, although changing to a mostly vegan lifestyle I have started buying more from Whole Foods because they have a lot more options especially with their plant based cheese varieties and brands. I am a cheese lover so that has been a sacrifice, however with brands like Miyokos, Violife, and Daiya especially at least I dont feel like I am missing out as much. The reality is though that vegan cheese just isnt the same as animal based cheese but these three brands are decent and not every cheese from these brands are as good as some others. Some cheeses melt better than others and it also depends on how you apply heat to the cheese like stove top, oven, or microwave. To some people that might sound like they would all be the same but each is different. I guess one other brand that is worth mentioning is Chao. It is good, but it has a rubbery texture (at least the one that I tried) but melts reasonably well although it has a pretty heavy taste of coconut. They use coconut oil which is fine but it would be better if it were fractionated? If they used the type of coconut oil that doesnt taste like coconut then I would probably purchase it more. I am not into savory foods that use a lot of coconut, much less cheese, its just unappetizing to me, however if you are recently trying veganism give the cheeses a chance by preparing them in different ways because you might be surprised. So Whole Foods has the best selection of vegan cheeses of the grocery stores I frequent. If Safeway had more of a selection I would prefer to go there, however when I do venture in the direction of this Whole Foods I do stop in. So Whole Foods is still pretty pricey, but comparing it to about ten years ago their prices are at least better. Also if you compare plant based cheese compared to cow milk cheese the difference is maybe a dollar or two more which is still an expense but it just depends on the ingredients. A lot of the vegan cheeses use cashews which of course is more expensive than cows milk so paying one or two dollars more isnt too bad in the grand scheme of things. I havent actually gone down each isle to see everything that they carry but their produce is always great and their prices arent quite as bad as it was about ten years ago. The staff are nice, some are friendlier than others, but no one has been unfriendly. And after working so much retail I will say that everyone who has manned the registers have been pleasant. Its also just a beautiful store that is clean and especially with Covid-19 it is nice to see cleanly stores, especially cleanly grocery stores! Overall its a pretty good experience, but I still wish that the prices werent as high.
A great place to shop healthy foods and market
The most clean shop. Great choice of food and supplements. I love it, however, the prices are a bit higher, than other shops, like Giant, Safeway and Aldi.
We discovered this coffee shop for ourselves this lazy morning!Firs we want to say thanks to Brenton (google local guide) for his encouraging review and for saving us an hour of search time)😂We ordered two medium cappuccino as we always do and were very surprised to learn from barista that cappuccino it is NOT JUST cappuccino which you grab on your way to work on Monday morning)☕️‘Allegro Coffee’ offers different types of cappuccino: wet (more milk), dry (only foam. That what I love❤️), regular (50/50).That being said the brick cappuccino was made PERFECT to our liking with thick foam!We put cocoa powder on top of the cappuccino, took a pastry with fresh raspberry and went outside to enjoy our coffee sitting at the table available along the walkway.🍮There are no sitting available inside because ‘Allegro’ is inside of Whole Foods market. ☕️☕️
This stores management appears to condone discriminatory practices. Today, I had to address an attendant in the seafood department for skipping over a long line of people waiting to be serviced after he decided to address one isolated woman who was no where near the line that had been formed for at minimum 5- 10 minutes prior to the last customer completed. When I bought it to his attention, he did not apologize but made excuses for his poor discernment and lack of customer service. I decided to address it with management. The manager on call is named Jose. He was extremely patronizing and did not appear to take my complaint seriously. When I got home and noticed a foreign object on my fish and called back to speak with Jose, he was very dismissive. I could not finish explaining what my concern was before he cut me off from speaking. He even indicated the white foreign object on my fish was normal. When I asked on what bases was he making this statement without seeing the fish in person, he indicated he has purchased salmon before and its just fat. Absolutely not! Just poor service all around. Every time I observe a white customer blatantly being addressed before me while I was waiting initially or I am made to feel invisible when I am at this WF location, I will be reporting it and I advise others to do the same!
Courteous and professional staff. Great variety of quality food items.
Quick and easy as long as you park on the street to avoid the underground parking. Check out in quick lines or small order lines make the experience easy and relatively contactless. Meat and Fish departments very helpful and produce can be counted on to be fresh. A good place to shop; a bit pricey but worth it.
I visited to conduct an Amazon return. The team was nice and worked fast. The store was clean and the path the area was a few steps from the entrance. The whole team was attending to customers. I will visit again instead of going the distance to college park.
Whole food is whole food. Even after being sold to amazon, few prices went down such as the salmon and apples . This particular whole is my favorite one in the area, because its a melting pot, meeting the people that works there, is like traveling because they have a big diversity. And the parking is great (underground)
Customer service is goodLove how is clean. But one thing that disappoint me is the cakes. I ordered a red velvet cake and it was so dry that needed a lot of water lol
On 6/12/21 I spent around $70 for 3 whole red snapper fish. The fish had to be fileted and when I went to pick up the fileted fish, it was wrapped so I could not see it. When I opened up the fish (2 hours before guests were to arrive), the fish was filled with bones, scales and cut with a rough knife so the fish was slightly shredded on the surface. I had to try and remove the bones leaving the fish in cut up smallish chunks. It was too late for me to go and try to find alternative fish at that point in time. I cannot believe that I paid $70 for this. NEVER BUY WHOLE FISH AND ASK FOR IT TO BE FILETED AT WHOLE FOODS. Clearly training opportunities abound at Whole Foods fish in Rockvile. BUYER BEWARE - JUST GO TO A PROPER FISH MARKET..... youll save yourself the aggravation and lovely experience of telling important guests to watch out for the bones. Argh.
A little pricy but the food quality was good
Whole Foods was always more expensive than shopping at Safeway or Giant. I knew going into a Whole Foods that the fruits and vegetables would be fresh and of the finest quality. Not anymore. The pears were rotted on the inside. The broccoli was soft and uneatable. We ordered asparagus and they substituted garlic. Virtually, the entire delivery order was wrong. Jeff Bezos/Amazon should be ashamed. DO NOT SHOP AT WHOLE FOODS
Helpful staff. Clean store.
Tommy at the meat dept was willing to go the extra mile for me and exceeded expectations, I wanted to to take a moment aside to leave a reviews on my experience Which I rarely do !
Helpful guys, and very friendly as well.
I want to add my review here on POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. On 2/1/21, I had my second incidence of verbal assault and perceived discriminatory behavior from store clerks within the deli department(and previouslythe meat department). The clerk did not offer me a professional greeting after waiting for him to finish his side conversation with his work buddy behind the counter. He was very flippant when I inquired about the options available for the selection I was interested in purchasing. Ultimately he told me no, he would not slice my deli meat thinner because he already cut it. I had to demand another clerk to service me with some professionalism. I communicated this to the store manager - Pia DaSilva and received no initial apology and no empathy in her response. Once I brought to her attention the lack of apology, she backpedaled and stated she was ABOUT to apologize after a 5 minute long conversation. That should have been the first statement instead of defending poor customer service. I highlighted these behaviors start from the expectations set at the top level of leadership. Constant deflection and no taking accountability was all I received yesterday. I reported the incident (s) to corporate so maybe as a long standing Whole Foods customer I will receive a thorough investigation and feedback!?!
I love shopping at whole foods. I gives me a great vibe. I was able to park with no issues, the shelves was shock, and organized. The location in Rockville was clean. I found everything and more that I was looking for. Dinner turned out delicious. I was satisfied.
We love the prices in the foods in the items in the store we come here all the time
Very helpful and friendly staff.
Very uncomfortable to shop in the store. Customers and associates crowd the aisles and have no respect for six feet distancing inside the store while shopping. Store associates were busy returning some items to the shelves and had huge carts obstructing access to things you want to see and compelling you to get out of the way. Its a pity because the store is nice and spacious but shopping for the items you need takes a while in the store. Online shopping or prime delivery is definitely the better experience.
This location is always so clean. I appreciate their cleanliness pre and during COVID.
Modern, up-scale, trendy. I went to a desk operated by Amazon to exchange a purchase. In and out in 5 minutes. With the pandemic, they limit the number of people who can enter. Only had to wait a few minutes. Well organized.
This Whole Foods seems easier to maneuver than many of the other ones I’ve visited. It’s very well laid out, the produce is beautiful and of good quality, and staff is very friendly. Also, The prepared foods section is one of the best ones I’ve ever been to. They hav excellent variety and the food always looks fresh, no matter the time of day.
Do you love organic foods? Do you like your items to be super fresh? Please come to Whole Foods in North Bethesda. This is a dream store for not only chefs, but anyone who have certain allergens, this store is perfect for you. The customer service is prompt and attentive. You will be super glad that you made the choice to stop at this location. Check it out!
Whole Foods market is my favorite supermarket in the U.S. It is clean and the fruits and the vegetables are fresh, organic, and delicious. I love the fresh orange juice and the pink coconut water so much! Also, the cakes are great too. They are not so sweet but delicious.
One of the best shopping experiences I have ever experienced. The superb staff, the selection of high quality foods, and gorgeous physical space makes it a complete joy to be around. I dearly love this store.
Food overpriced but best meat. Go there only for that!
Great Whole Foods with lots of options. They have self checkout which is a plus. Went to have lunch with friends today and for the second time I caught someone letting the air out of my tires. Apparently, if you have Veterans plates you better expect someone to let the air out of your tires. I had to go searching for a gas station to add air in my tires. Unclear if i should return or not.
Great selection of food. Love being an Amazon shopper
Great Whole Foods and I have lived next to quite a bunch in many cities. Brie running the cheese counter is very friendly. Nice value added meat options, but they dont always have ground lamb available. Fresh fish options and generally 80% of the time a whole fish filleted in the back will be cleaned with minimal bones.
Every time I bring fruit and vegetables home from this place my house fills up with fruit flies. While I understand organics dont use past decides they could at least wash the fruit. And besides the a hole that owns this business is one of the members of the Joseph Goebbels propaganda ministry with his lying Washington Post newspaper. Try Roots it better.
Its a bit pricey but its worth it in the end!
Got everything I needed in one fell swoop! YAY!
Extremely overcharge on every item and the worst customer service in the industry.
If youre going to use this Whole Foods you better get here early because this is a busy store and its crowded and its a smaller store. And the parking lot is frustrating. Its better to go to the one down in Bethesda on Willard Avenue 1.5 miles away which has a parking garage and is bigger.
A friend gave me a ride to the store which I used to come. I still love it. Vegetables and fruits are so fresh as usual. I got Raineir Cherry, and some other exotic fruits. What a treat! Its not so crowded. People are following rules with masks and distance. But no hot food or salad bar anymore, otherwise, is excellent!
Returned my Amazon purchase. So easy, but confusing parking.
Great products, good prices, large selection, and a nice well maintained location.
Great selections of organic food. Reasonable prices and Clean atmosphere 😊.
In all fairness rating them on the night before Thanksgiving isnt fair. This place was a mad house! But the staff kept smiling behind their masks 😷
Rockville Whole Foods and the one in Friendship Heights are the bigger Whole Foods in the area. Having a bigger store means more selections and better hot food section.I prefer to buy meat from Whole Foods because it is antibiotics free and no growth hormones. The seafood department is very good too. The price of shrimp on sale is less than the DC fish market. Produce is very fresh and the price is reasonable. I have been able to pick up items that cost less than other supermarkets in the area by shopping the sale price carefully.Whole Foods bakery is always very good. You can count on no artificial color, no high fructose corn syrup or other artificial ingredients. The strawberry cream cake is among my favorites. This unit has self checkout. I guess that is the trend everywhere. Parking is not too easy on weekends but that is true of most other places in the area.
This is my favorite Whole Foods. Good staff. Good selection. Less crowded than Silver Spring. Actually enjoy grocery shopping here.
Fresh organic vegetables
Huge WF. All the usual items. They didn’t have fresh food though. Maybe it was just bad timing.
I must say that the staff working in this location are poorly trained in customer service. I was poorly treated while trying to return an item. The person who was behind the customer service window not only told me that I couldn’t read (and I have a law degree) but also pointed her finger at me four times. I kept asking her to stop being rude and pointing her finger at me. I asked after 12 minutes to speak to the store manager. She (foti) ignored me. Then I told her that I would be contacting the corporate office about this incident and that’s why she left and disappeared. I thought she would be back to finalise tge return but she never came back. I am a regular customer of whole food and I have seen staff being simply rude to customers on many occasions. The store manager should send the staff for serious training on how to speak to customers and how to help them. I am very disappointed .
It was a great store
Love this place. but always arrive before 11am
Best store ever if youre into organic and dont mind to spend little bit extra for it.
This is a smaller store BUT I’ve never dealt with stock-outs. The bulk section is consistent and they keep the standard plant based and gluten free options on hand. I especially love their hot food bar and take-away counter options. The staff is always courteous and the lines are never long.
Whole Foods formally know as Whole Paycheck is now less so with Amazons discounts.... This store is great and has helpful staff, but park on the street because the underground parking is a nightmare!
If yourre just planning on buying groceries, its a great place. Prices are a little high but good quality. On the other hand, if youre planning on buying the food the food they make there, dont. The pizza is extremely greasy, sushi is not fresh and most of the buffet bar is over a day old.
Specialty foods, along the lines of balduccis.
Verity of options available for fruits and veggies. The checkout process was kind of slow probably because of COVID distancing and extra precautions. Parking Garage available. Overall good experience.
Store was well stocked, clean, and no lines.
Had an amazon return. Came in and went out in a minute! Incredible service!
The shopping experience is detoriating. Alot of interruptions from Amazon Prime Staff. As I am reaching for items, the A.PWorkers are saying they need to grab an item when Im trying to obtain an item from the shelves.
I ordered two pizzas, the first one was burnt and the second was undercooked.
Extremely well stocked and organized. They had everything I was hoping to find.
Worst place for online orders/pickup. I spent almost 20 minutes looking for a pick up sign in the garage. I asked one of the store employee and he gave me incorrect information which made me spent another good 10 minutes looking for something that is not there. I called the customer service and they told me to pick it up inside the store at the customer service area. When I arrived in the store, I go to the customer service as directed and I wait for another 3 minutes while being ignored, I get directed in area that is not customer service and waited for another 5 minutes. This whole experience is stressful and frustrating . I prefer the Gaithersburg location for online shopping pick up. Perk: Free covered parking space.
Well, our party was ruined due to our order being cancelled out of nowhere and never receiving the order despite being reassured we would.I still have not gotten a clear explanation as to why our order was canceled. I have store manager reassuring me that our groceries are on the way - her explanation being that Prime just cancelled the order because their picker was taking too long gathering our items (one hour window selected for delivery).Amazon Customer Service can’t keep their story straight we get one person telling us they have no idea why the order was cancelled and their supervisor saying that it was cancelled because five or more items could not be substituted... apparently we weren’t supposed to also speak to the store manager about our order. Are you guys kidding me?! There’s a disconnect somewhere and both companies have some explaining to do.Regardless, our order never arrived and the party was ruined despite being reassured that a courier had picked up our groceries.I think what sucks even more is having to wait possibly 3-5 days to get our $216 back, with it being a federal holiday tomorrow, it might take even longer. I do intend on escalating this issue because people don’t seem to take things seriously anymore. Thanks Whole Foods & Amazon
Sticker shock!
Perfect 👌
Clean Store clean service
Crowded & expensive. Staff are not friendly
Great shopping but higher prices.
Always a joy shopping here.
Variety of groceries among other things. Self-serve Hot food bar. Great idea, however, I always contend that the sneeze bars dont usually work well enough for my liking. Ill pass on that.
A spacious store with good selection, usually. Recently has more missing items and can be a bit crowded with amazon delivery shoppers.
Excellent.
FREE PARKING GARAGE UNDER STORE!! People always park on the street or so far away but the parking lot is free, huge, and basically empty. Love the store because its walking distance for me. They just installed a new self checkout and I love that. Makes going in and out so much faster!!
Excellent customer service but prices are still high
Great vegetables and good quality also good quality meat and selection
Clean, helpful staff, fresh colorful veggies and fruitLots of allergen friendly options
I love this Whole Foods. It is clean, organized and everyone is very helpful. You can also snag a cheeseburger made to order for $5 at the hot bar.
Very expensive and no coca cola. Not my supermarket.
Due to Covid restrictions, they have finally started to limit the amount of people in stores. This location also accepts returns of Amazon related purchases.
