Calling at 8:48 PM on a Sunday night? The store isn’t even open on Sundays… but since y’all want to hear from me so bad, avoid this place, you go for an eye exam and they try their hardest to avoid giving you the results so that you’re forced to buy frames from their store, because of that sales person type of pressuring Im guessing they make commission, and I don’t know if it’s the same manager from 2 years ago but he was breathing down the employees necks making them visibly uncomfortable. The employees were cool though. But I’d recommend going to Costco if possible, only went there once but had great service.

I have had many outstanding experiences at My Eye Doctor in Aspen Hill. Jamie Farouzi, the manager, is fantastic. Im very picking about my glasses, and he is always happy to take care of any little issue. I wouldnt think of going anywhere else.

After 3 weeks of preordering color contact for my daughter 21 birthday and vacation, She had to go without her contacts:( they claim one pack came but not the other pack, so She had to wear one eye with color contacts and the other clear on her Birthday with her Friends as a result of I dont know what when wrong and I dont care, that is unacceptable, after at least 5+yrs going there we will not be returning next year and will order contacts online. Complete foolishness! Got message 2 days ago and she had already left without them, 4 weeks for contacts? The service is as Horrible as COVID-19!

I visited this location this morning because there was something in my eye and I could barely open my eye without pain. This location wouldn’t even see me and said that they are seeing appointments only. I am not happy with this service and this is terrible customer service. I am appalled.

I was in that office only once. I was scheduled for a second visit, but when I arrived for the appointment I found that the doctor was not there. The very unfriendly staff claimed that they had tried to call me to cancel the appointment, but I never got any messages. 3 years later I received the attached invoice. The billing practices in that office are malicious and ill-intentioned. What explanation can there be to receive an invoice 3 years later and with interest charges, for a canceled appointment and for which you never received a call. I called the office today so someone would give me more information, but the billing person only works 2 days a week at part time, maybe that is reason for an erroneous and desperate billing. Needless to say, I will never return. If you are a patient, do not be surprised to receive an invoice after 3 years as a penalty for not continuing to sponsor Dr. Budner services.

The customer service is horrible, they don’t know what they’re saying, you explain to them one thing and they end up saying something else, also have gotten the wrong prescription for contacts. I can’t see from far and when I wore the contacts I couldn’t see from close 😐.

Ive been going here for a few years. The staff that helps me pick out glasses is fantastic. This year, theres a new doctor. He was nice and explained everything (but doesnt do magic like the previous doctor). I think the sales staff is stellar. I usually work with Julie because she never steers me wrong. This year, I had new people - they were just as great. Im happy with my glasses and will definitely return.

I really liked the new doctor, she was really nice and knowledgeable. The rest of the staff was awesome; very professional and friendly. Based on my first time here today, I would highly recommend it. The staff was courteous and I wasnt kept waiting for my appointment. The optometrist explained everything to me, including addressing all of my concerns from a previous negative experience with another optometrist. I never felt that I was pressured to purchase anything I didnt need or want. All in all, Id absolutely return.

I saw Dr Ibrahim last month and that was fine. I was told to follow up and I did. I thought I was making the follow up appt with him but I guess with the reduced covid schedules I saw Dr Spirer. (Im assuming it was her. She never introduced herself. It wasnt the only other female doctor on their website so I guess it was her.) She was incredibly curt and rude. She didnt explain anything. She didnt even allow me to sit in the exam chair. She spent exactly 2 minutes with me (and charged me $75 on top of what she charged my insurance). I was forced to ask her questions about my eye in the middle of waiting area. She seemed annoyed and running behind but I had a 9:05 appointment (and was on time) and they open at 9 so not really sure why she was so rushed already. Also, one of the guys that works there came in and walked through the entire place without a mask on, in direct violation of the stores policy and the countys orders. I would see Dr Ibrahim again but absolutely not Dr Spirer.

Absolutely the bast place for glasses. I have been coming to this location since it opens (many years), and developed a personal relationship with the General Manager Jamie.As a photographer and graphic designer I need precise prescription and exact cut for the transition lens. From the detailed exam and conformation of the prescription my new glasses are perfect.Plus Jamie is always there to make adjustments.

Friendly staff and great service. I have been to many eye doctors including several my eye dr. None have shown the level of service as they did. Here in Aspen Hill they really did roll out the red carpet. I felt that I was a priority. I was greeted by Joey as soon as i walked. He help me right away. The receptionist she was just super friendly. The dr was very helpful and patient. She helped make sure that i had the right prescription for my contacts. Being that i had an eye exam in another in another place and was unable to use them since it was not the correct prescription. She even had patience and let try on different colors to make it was the color i wanted. Then i was helped by Joey again. He helped get my contacts at a great price and even explained my billing and let me see the screen so there are no surprises. Aspen Hill, My Eye Dr team, have earned my respect and i will definitely be a regular there. That one hour drive to your location is worth.

Best customer service ever! I was seen within 5 minutes after checking in even after I accidentally booked my appointment at the downtown silver spring location.The receptionist(cant remember her name) is a shining star. Her mannerisms exude grace and charm and a genuine desire to give excellent customer service. I was very impressed.Dr Ibrahim is a very professional, knowledgeable, and absolutely hilarious! He actually took the time to inquire about any complaints if any about my current contacts and glasses. And the best part is he performs magic tricks!Cant say anything but great things about the entire staff!

Came in here in mid-February for brown small RB3578 glasses, which they tried to charge me $290 for frames that you can buy directly from the website for $178. Order was ready on 3/20 – wrong glasses; order ready again on 4/27- wrong glasses. It’s mid-June and I still don’t have the glasses I originally ordered. Can Jay or someone here please call me & let me know when these glasses are available?Recommend going to VisionWorks or just ordering directly from the website to avoid waiting 4+ months or being overcharged.

Such a delightful experience. Dr Ibrahim was really funny and witty, especially early on a Saturday is hard to do. He went over some common misconceptions people have about eye health, it was a really great experience. The staff works together really well. They were slightly busy but thats expected, this location covers a large number of people. Will return in future.

Quick and easy eye exam. I was in an out in under an hour and the customer service of the employees was great. One guy asked me if Id been helped (which I already had, theyre fast!) and as I was putting on my sunglasses to head out, another offered to tighten the screws on my frames and polished up my lenses for me.

I have been going to this store for almost three years and I never had any problems till this year. The associate that assisted me this year was rude and disrespectful. I guess he was nice till I paid for my glasses. But when I called and asked about the status of my order, he was flat out rude and taking back his word and the agreement we made the last time I was at the store. I had a really great 1st experience. I went in for an annual eye exam and wasnt rushed at all and everyone was very helpful. I also struggle with the machine that blows air into your eyes but the technician was patient and friendly and made the process go by quickly. There is a medium collection of glasses but I was offered and found many options that I loved. I will never go back to the chain stores!

Was given the wrong prescription. In order to correct their mistake they wanted to schedule a new office visit versus a follow up.Seems they are more concern with running a business than patient care and quality. Would not recommend. Follow-up to the doctors comment below-I received a phone call from the doctor days later to request that I remove my comment(again, running their business is a priority). Not sure that I refused to come in, I preferred to take my business elsewhere.

First time experience I have been there for half hour and had just see the couple machine exam and charged me $779. I will be contacting the co-prate office for the cost and detail. I asked the counter even who helped me picking glasses about the cost and he not saying much about it and tell me only what my contribution(pay). he walking back to the reception lady laughing out loud looking at me. Which makes me uncomfortable. They just laugh around you and not really helping you for your need.

Great environment and staff... Dr. Ibrahim was funny, very informative of my specific situation, and crafty at making tissues disappear before your eyes. Lol... I was disappointed to discover that the eyewear for amerigroup clients were just toss into a what look like a juke box some were even broken. Fix it, Amerigroup clients deserve the same respect as any other insurance who glasses are display on selves and section trays.

The exams were smooth and so was the paperwork and everything else, even setting up pickup. That is except this one thing that drops it down to (what would be 4.5 if I could give half on here) but I cant and so it is only 4 stars.The red-haired saleswoman that helped me choose frames was somewhat, if not, very pushy with the help she was giving me and variety. Not only, did she tell me to just sit like I was an invalid and NOT direct me to a row that my insurance actually took and let me get up and look at them, but she even insisted with huge amounts of pressure that I only choose from one of the three, despite me finding only one slightly less atrocious and more bearable than the the other two. Yet, at the same time I could not see myself ever picking something so gaudy and to me what she referred to as trendy about it made me think about an old painted and faded pot in grandmas kitchen that had seen its years been and gone! The plastic blue around the front of the lenses was to me their ONLY redeeming factor! The earpieces were metal and looked like they had one of those old stretched and distorted and faded designs of a larger image that was shrunk down to be scanned onto a smaller object without the image being properly resized. Only this time that shrinked design looked chipped as it was an image of what I could only guess was supposed to be blue and gray flowers from a larger image that someone shrunk down like a paint-by-numbers or something and painted it onto the metal ear piece or used some machine to scan it on them but where ink or maybe thread may be used traditionally in such processes they somehow how rigged it to use what looked like pastels, so it turned out all fuzzy! I insisted on her allowing me to get up and look at what others are actually covered by my card as the few on the wall opposite the counter I did were not and she just pushed the three she brought, one mostly black but with an odd undertone of a yellowish color and no real design and the other no notable design in the plastic around the lenses but the plastic earpieces had a slightly distorted cheetah printing. I guess, she was solely going based on what I was wearing at the time (at thin gray sweater, dark blue and grayish washed jeans, gray boots) and my blue eyes for her reasons to push them on me and she also called them trendy but all I could see that she referred to as trendy were those distorted flowers on the earpieces and the only redemption about them that may have been slightly been hip or trendy was the multi-toned and solid blue plastic around the lenses!The only thing pushing it to a 4.5 and not just leaving it at 4 was that someone answered before 10AM when they are supposed to open and made a note to only call me when they are ready, as for some odd reason my phone has trouble getting texts from places that are sending me reminders and what not unless they are old ones that are for some reason still sending me them and I told them to stop long ago and they wont.

Received a rushing exam, and incorrect prescription. The salesman gave an attitude when I decided to not get the frame from them. He ends up typing my prescription incorrectly. All they care is getting as much money from your pocket as possible. They arent even deserve 1 star. SO DONT COME TO THIS PLACE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR EYES AND YOUR POCKET.

Poor customer service, didnt get my glasses on the promised date. They just ignored me when I went to pick up my glasses, It was only 10 minutes past 7pm and the guy name Walter did not even open door just to talk. TodayI had the most wonderful experience during my visit. First, Gabby did my three exams and then dr Ibrahim did my eye exam. He was fantastic, very considerate about my neck problem and suggested special progressive reading glasses that would not make me move my head up and down too much.The cherry on the cake was Jose. Right at my arrival he saw me looking at he frames. I told him all about my neck problems and about my priorities when it comes to he frame. He found a bunch of beautiful frames while dr. Ibrahim was doing the exam. They were all e a toy what I asked for and I was able to chose one. Jose was extremely pleasant during the whole measuring process and it was just so nice to feel very special and appreciated as a customer.I will recommend this branch to all my family members and friends.Thank you for making my morning very special. I will be back at your place for my next pair of glasses.P.S. I used my own frame for the second pair and I did not experience any attitude or convincing to get a frame from them. They actually complimented my old, very old frame that I just cant giv up.

I have been a patient with Dr. Budner for some time. Ive always been satisfied with their work on the medical side of things. However, their pricing and billing practices have always been opaque. I have been willing to live with that until recently when I had a very unhappy experience with them. I got a complete exam in December which went fine. I was scheduled for a followup visit, when I arrived for the appointment I found that the doctor was not there and the person who was there had no explanation of what was going on. I had wasted my time. I did get a call back from Dr. Budner who claimed that they had tried to call me to cancel the appointment, but I never got any messages and no evidence that they had called. A couple of months later, I called to order some new contacts. They told me that I didnt get the right flavor of exam in December so I would have to come back in. Despite repeated questions, I never got a satisfactory explanation. So, I went back in for another exam so I could order my contacts and was charged another $275.00 for a simple contact lense fitting. Their contacts are very expensive, while they have a limited price matching policy, it still doesnt bring them down to the kind of prices that can be had at a half dozen different sources. Given their poor customer service, high prices, and confusing opaque billing practices, I wont be going back.
