Damaged my glasses this morning and needed new glasses ASAP. Suzy was able to help me pick out the right lens options and process all the info for my insurance. When the discount for the Oakley lenses were not available she applied discounts to the new lens selection so the price would be similar. She was extremely helpful and made the process a breeze. This is my second time getting glasses from this place, and I am very satisfied with the quality and variety of their products. The frames are durable and the materials dont stain or lose shape over time. The most impressive part of my visit this second time was the speed. They contacted me 1 hour and a half after my eye exam to tell me that my glasses were ready for pick up. I had to drive back from home because I had no idea they were so fast, but it was a satisfactory drive.
The associate who helped me was extremely kind and insightful. She took the time to help me find frames that fit the style I was looking for and the entire experience was pleasant while professional. Extremely satisfied with the glasses I purchased and the service I received!

My experience so far has been great! Ari and Dr. Espejo are great and ensured I had a pleasant experience, from the exam to picking out glasses. Everyone has been super helpful!Only issue is the redhead older woman who is very annoyed by her job. I’m not sure what her job is, but she’s a real Debbie Downer and just annoying in general from the way she talks to customers to the way she talks to her colleagues. I feel for y’all! If it wasn’t for her attitude (like others have mentioned), this would be 5 stars. Overall great experience and great people!

She was patient with me as I selected frames to try on; answered my questions, and looked around the store inventory to see if there were other frames that I might be interested in. I appreciate that LensCrafters was able to fix my broken glasses. Suzy did a wonderful job adjusting and repairing my glasses (frame was bent and right lense had popped out). I make a special effort to seek her out whenever I have any needs for new prescription glasses or repairs .
I picked up a couple of pairs of new eye glasses this week from this trusty store. It is always a pleasure to work with Angelo (he really is super and always puts customer service first. I have witnessed him firsthand dealing with problem customers and he is professional in his dealings when others in his position may be tempted to lose their cool...). I will be coming back here again in the future as I always do... Also have to mention Dr. Espejo (the optician located at the store), I always go to him for my eye tests and contact lens purchases. Booked an eye exam days ago and submitted all of my insurance information. Once I got there the front desk proceeds to tell me that they don’t accept my insurance. Asked why nobody gave me a call before the appointment to notify me and she couldn’t respond.I received an eye exam at another lens crafters and requested a copy of my prescription to check if it was expired and they couldn’t do that either. What is the point of a chain optometry store if not for convenience.Completely disappointed in the un professionalism.
The Rockville, MD location is really great. The staff are friendly and professional. They worked with my insurance and store discounts to get me a fair price on 2 pairs of eyeglasses and sunglasses too. If you need glasses ask for Susie. Shes great to work with!
Susie is the reason I come here. She is SO good at her job and has been super helpful in helping me find glasses I love and that fit me well! Dr. Espejo is also very friendly and an amazing doctor. Definitely recommend this place!

Only reason why I’m rating it a 1 start is because of this arrogant eye consultant named Angelo who was so extremely rude and ignorant. The store manager was a sweetheart but this guy either hates his job or his life or something. If you do decide to come here don’t see this guy.
Upon entering, I was abruptly greeted by an employee that seemed very dissatisfied with their job. I later discovered that this employee was the assistant manager. In my opinion she appeared aggressive with customers, seemingly irritated to have to talk with customers, and does not seem to enjoy delivering customer service. My interaction with her caused me to take my more than $1,000.00 in sales elsewhere; and based upon my experience, it is doubtful that I’ll ever return to any LensCrafters location in the future. Extraordinarily disappointing experience.
By far the best LensCrafters experience Ive had, as I have purchased glasses from three LC stores now over the past two months in the DMV area. Angelo, the associate that assisted me, made all the difference. He was very helpful, personable, not at all pushy, very willing to give his opinions, and freely share his optometry knowledge. It was obvious he is very knowledgeable and genuinely wanted to ensure I had a positive experience. I left feeling really good about my in-person interactions and purchase.
This was my first time and i had a wonderful experience. Got fabulous customer service and great prices. The manager Arri took the time to find nice frames and prices. Thank you.
Before today, I would have given this location 5 stars. I love the Doctor and most of the technicians. However, Ms. Susie needs to work on her customer service skills. Her attitude towards customers are ridiculous. To sit on hold for five minutes waiting for a response, then call again and she answers annoyed is unacceptable! My question still wasnt answered; I would prefer my money back and go to another location where customers service is valued.

I visited this location about a year ago. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of eyewear to choose from, price as well as styles and brands.I was really impressed by how quickly they were able to turnaround my order - less than 24 hours, and exactly as promised. Also impressed by how well they communicated with me when the glasses were ready. It was all very convenient. Thank you !!
Staff was amazing, today i was serviced by the manager. She was absolutley delightful. Professional, friendly, accommodating, helpful. Really went above and beyond to help me with my purchase. Didnt rush me, and provided feedback on glasses I was trying on wjen I asked for her help. Other associate even suggested another pair of glasses which wasnt even on the floor yet. I was not rushed which is rare nowadays.. Over all great staff and great customer service. Very clean and organized. I will continue going go this location.
Always great customer service, I came into the this office Saturday night and a younger guy helped me he was awesome. The other staff was also nice with helping me decide of what to get. You can tell they have a great team an all work well together. Ill definitely come back to this location for my purchase

Never been received so rudely in my life. I came in wanting to ask a a question concerning specific frames and pricing. As someone was being served, I waited my turn, and had a look at the frames. I saw the exact frame I was interested in, and was looking at it, when I was told by the woman to back off and that I basically wasnt allowed to look at the frames. I told her I had come to look at a specific frame and was just waiting my turn, to which she replied that she was closing in half an hour and that she didnt have time to answer any questions. I can understand when there are lots of customers and you are swamped, or if I had come for a long appointment. But All I wanted was a 3 minute discussion about a particular frame. Lenscrafter has lost my and my familys business.
Dr. Espejo and the team at LensCrafters have always done a good job. I have been a customer for years. They have great service and a wide variety of frames. They will take the time to help you find the frames that look good on you. I recommend!

My eye exam went wonderfully. The doctor who did it works at several different locations, so this review is not for him. When I was done with the exam I asked the woman at the front for a new frame and lenses for my old frame. She proceeded to act like she spoke to a lab tech and told me that they couldnt replace the lenses because the frame might crack. It was total B.S. The frames are in great condition and made of a flexible metal. I went down the street to Visionworks and they did it without any push back.

The prices are very high in comparison to others. The people are nice and there is a large amount of frames to select from.

I did not buy eyeglasses at this business but I did go there several times with eyeglasses I got elsewhere that had problems such as a screw falling out or they were not sitting properly on my face. Each time I received excellent service. The eyeglasses were repaired well and I was not charged anything.

Unbelievably bad service. They will completely forget about you for hours, and then have the audacity to finally glance at your prescription; only to inform you that you will have to special order your glasses... Go somewhere else, these people dont give a damn about your time...

I purchased 2 pairs of glasses in October of 2018. I took 1 pair back because the finish was peeling off and of course I wanted them to be replaced free of charge. They refused but offered to replace the lenses for a higher price than I originally paid for them. Now keep in mind I’m a 25 year customer of LensCrafters and that didn’t matter to them at all. In the end I thank them because I went to Costco and they put new lenses in for half the price I had paid. I will now be a happy customer of Costco.
I was there on a somewhat snowy day and the on-site doctor didn’t show your to do an eye exam. Sales rep didn’t bother to find out if and when he would arrive. Just not good service. There’s plenty other stores in the area where you can buy glasses and feel better spending 500 $.
Theres something wrong in this store. Not sure if its over use of cleaning products, or something being used to cover up other odors but walking in to this place had eyes and throat getting irritated immediately. Had to repeatedly leave the store for some relief and fresh air while I waited for my family to finish their eye exams. Furthermore the sales employee walking around barefoot didnt make me feel any better about the state of the store. A review of proper cleaning practices (vs an overdose of carpet cleaner or whatever product was dumped around the store in excess) is probably in order.
Come back with an issue on my new lenses. 1 person working, sit for almost am hour and no other associates show up. Bad business practice to only schedule 1 technician regardless of day or time. This is a sure way to lose business to other places.
I was impressed by Yoel. In exploring options for progressive, bi focals, he introduced a new popular option aka Computer reading glasses that seems to fit my need. These are better than plain reading glasses and works for objects from 1 ft - 10 ft. So for driving I can use regular mono vision glasses and not spend on progressive bifocals.In any case, they met my needs. I will try this and see how they suit me and comment later.A+ for ServiceA for priceA+ for location
I went in at 7:44 pm for a pair of glasses for my son. The glasses were ready the next morning by 9:00. Ryan gave us excellent service and attention. Ryan was knowledgeable and friendly. I called this store today and was answered by an employee using sarcasm.It astonished me of how much stores like this can still afford bad customer service just to provide basic info.I was planning to stop by and order my glasses.I guess they dont need my money.
Visited this store on Dec 31 2015. This was the last day for a sale they were running, so of course it was extremely busy and crowded. Someone came up to me right away, plugged my info and what I was looking for into their iPad. I browsed for quite awhile before I was ready to sit down with someone, I only had to wait maybe 10 minutes, if even that for a rep to help me with my selections. I needed to buy regular glasses with progressive lenses (was unsure about them), as I had tried them before unsuccessfully. I also needed sunglasses. I worked with Kayla. She was awesome!! She walked me through all my selections and was brutally honest on a couple of choices I was thinking about. All together, I had four frames which I was indecisive about. She took her time and made me feel comfortable. She did not rush me at all. I explained to her my concerns with progressive lenses and how I tried them a few years ago but my eyes couldnt adjust. Fast forward a few yrs and my eyes were under a lot of strain especially at work. Kayla explained to me how to help my eyes adjust easily to wearing progressive lenses and it worked. My eyes adjusted well but every now and then my eyes get tired or I have moments where I have trouble focusing, I follow exactly what Kayla told me to do and my eyes focus in quickly. Thank you Kayla!! It worked! She had a great sense of humor. She was very personable. Both Kayla & Kristina were awesome. Kristina was very busy the entire time but was very courteous and never showed stress. As a matter of fact they all seemed to be happy, as they were hopefully making lots of money.
Worst expletive awful sales person, manager no where to be seen, rude abrupt and zero skills in customer service ... took my regular Ray Ban glasses there to change lenses to prescription got back with wrong prescription, josh the person who was there could not bother to look away from his phone ! His manners was unspeakable ! Was told to go back to my Dr. went home thought about and No! They had a correct prescription ! Went back and asked for refund and my original lenses ... they had lost them! Once again I was told it was my problem! I needed to go back to Ray-ban. I would never go there again ! Past 2 years I had purchased about 5 glasses all prescription from them and they are not cheap!! Lost a good customer!

Went for an eye exam to get new prescriptions. The optometrist gave me my glasses prescription and for whatever reason, did not want to give me a prescription of contacts. I got fitted for a pair of contacts to try on and was planned to call in to get that contact prescription. Had to call them three times, each time with a promise from the receptionist to send them in that day, before they finally got it to me. Horrible service and I wont be going back again.
Girlfriend purchased frames and lenses in store about a month ago and they told us it would be ready in 2 weeks. They told us after 3 weeks that the frames were not available. Now we have to wait for the vision insurance, which expires in less than a week, to release the credit for her nonexistent frames. A process thatll take another 2 weeks. Despite wasting 3 weeks of our time not telling us they didnt have the frames, during which we couldve canceled our order and looked elsewhere for the frames and lenses (with insurance), they are not offering help or credit. And now we have to find her another pair of glasses without insurance.
I bought a pair of TERRIBLE glasses that were fisheyed and I saw tripple of anything that produced light. I returned them got a receipt, gave the glasses back and then just got charged $100.00 back to my credit card for them! Eye exam was not only a joke but wrong. I went to an MD for a follow-up who assessed me at 15/20. I didnt need glasses at all. You literally sit in front of a machine, get the read out and get prescribed whatever it says. Not only that there is a chance you will get glasses that are unusable. This place is just a joke and stole $100 from me. I will be contact my credit card company and attempting to get it back. Save your money.

What an unethical rip off. I you have glasses and need replacement lenses for a new prescription. They wont replace them in perfectly good on the market brand names that you had the last prescription from them use. They cleverly dont say the dont...but strange how they will claim they dont have a template for brands like Ray Ban and Armani; even though they sold you the frames previously and they are still listed on the brand websites. I dont know about other buyers; but I prefer to save spending an unnecessary $400+ are frames still in fashion and in stock apparently most places but convenient for Lenscrafters not there.Second of all I didnt post two year ago. But when I bought my glasses originally I had the special coating added which subsequently came off in less than a few months. Then Lenscrafters claimed that I wasnt using their cleaning clothes...I was using them. They didnt offer to repair or replace and said I would have to buy new lenses. Another big ripoff.The clerks in the store are aware of the practices and even acknowledge them. But they are indifferent about doing the right thing.

If your eye insurance is in-network or if you dont mind paying out of pocket go here! Dr Espejo is equipped with the knowledge and the latest technology. They were able to determine my rx digitally without the repetitive traditional method of 1, or 2, 1, or 2. Even on the showroom the associates were friendly (tall blonde fellow was very handsome) and used digital imagery to calculate the best fit for glasses. Down to the nitty and gritty. They are expensive. Like damn. A pair of Ray-bans and Armani with basic lens and AR came to $300 kind of expensive. But their warranty and service was amazing. I am recommending them to my entire family.
I went for a prescription and asked for anti-reflective lenses and I had to get them replaced twice because the first time the prescription was a little off and the second time they forgot to make them anti-reflective. After I got the lenses replaced my frames fit weirdly on my nose and I had a lot of fitting issues because the guy who replaced the lenses handled them very roughly.Its been over 2 months since Ive gotten my lenses replaced and Ive been cleaning them properly with a wipe but the anti-reflective coating is starting to peel off (theyre very cheap with their lenses). I cant see very well because my lenses have big spots on them from the peeling. I went back to see if they could replace them but they said I couldnt have them replaced because I didnt get a warantee and I would have to pay $238 for new lenses.... They are very cheap and I dont know what Im going to do with my lenses now. Its unfair that they dont replace them because no lenses should peel that easily and that quickly. The eyewear consultant was not very understanding.
Horrible customer service. The store manager is very arrogant and combative. My prescription was entered into the computer system incorrectly (an honest mistake). I have traveled to this store 8 times now and the problem has still not been resolved. I have been lied to by the store manager and made to feel as if I am at fault for someone entering my prescription in wrong. I am 31 years old and have been wearing glasses since I was 6. I have never had a problem like this in 25 years of buying and wearing glasses. I honestly feel that the store manager does not want to take a return or exchange from me because it will hurt the stores sales numbers. Completely ridiculous.
