This is the place to go for hearing aids and audiology needs. Having worked with acoustics in the Navy for years, I can say that the doctors are clearly knowledgeable and their service and support are outstanding. The office staff deal quickly with insurance issues as well.
Dr. Walden is outstanding! She is professional, knowledgeable, thorough, and has a great bedside manner. I am so pleased with her level of patient care. I can tell she truly cares about her patients. She spent so much time with me during my appointment and even followed up with me the same day where she gave me options for custom earplugs I needed for my profession. Dr. Walden and Potomac Audiology exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend them!
We love the folks at Potomac Audiology! Dr. Chopra takes the best care of my elderly father. She is unbelievably patient and so kind. They are able to provide services at such reasonable rates, I always feel like we are family.
Outstanding service. Highly qualified doctorate level audiologist.
We recently began taking my mother-in-law here. Theyve fixed her hearing aids and are a pleasure to deal with. Were grateful for excellent care.
I recommended Dr Linn to my father after researching local audiologists in the NOVA/MD area. My father has said that Dr Linn is very professional, confident in her knowledge, and thorough in her testing. She recommended that he purchase hearing aids (with a 60-day trial period). Prices are competitive. So far his experience has been smooth.
Had very positive experience with Dr. Linn. She saw us (wife and me) on time. Patiently and logically explained the testing procedures. Walked us through every step. Explained the results thoroughly. Very professional but personal. Would recommend her highly.
If you need hearing assistance, you owe it to yourself to go to Potomac Audiology. Dr. Linn and her team are absolutely fantastic, efficient, friendly, and consummate professionals. Dr. Linn fitted me with my hearing aid within 30 minutes of my first visit and then let me try it out for months before I purchased it. She uses the best tools and technology to fine tune your hearing aid to your exact hearing deficiencies and I couldnt be happier with the results. I absolutely love Dr. Linns professional standards and her dedication to customer satisfaction. She is the best!
Absolutely superior audiologist! Dr. Gail Linn makes it very easy to choose and test out hearing aids before purchase. Goes to great lengths to make sure you are getting what you need and that you agree. Very experienced and willing to help you understand the issues of your particular hearing issue. Uses the Real Ear measurement system highly recommended by Consumer Reports.
Gail is an incredible audiologist who has everything one needs - patience, expertise and dedication to giving her patients the best hearing possible. She helped my mom and now me. She is up on the latest technology and always willing to help me get the best fit in a hearing aid. It’s a family business and the rest of the staff are wonderful back up if I can’t see Gail. She is truly amazing and so are the rest of the staff! ... I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
A professional group. I have been very happy with their testing and follow up on my hearing aids. Tricia Terlep has been such a caring professional as she managed my hearing tests and hearing aid fittings. My life was changed for the better the day I could hear again! I highly recommend this team.
I have been going to Potomac Audiology for two years. I have seen about three different Doctors and they have all been great. They dont rush you and take their time in order to make sure your results are perfect. They are all extremely pleasant, patient, helpful and fair. I am extremely pleased with them and will continue to return to them for my hearing needs.
I am a long term customer and am never disappointed with the professionalism and great service from this office. THE BEST place & team for hearing aids locally. (and I previously had tried three others)
In 2017, I received a hearing aid via a program called Hear Now, run by the Starkey Hearing Foundation. (My health plan at the time did not cover them.) Although I wasn’t really sure what part an audiologist would play when I first applied for the program – the program requires an audiologist to complete one of its forms – I somehow ended up at Potomac Audiology. It meant a lot to me that they were more than happy to help me get started with my hearing aid, despite my insurance not reimbursing them for their services, and they were there for me repeatedly when I needed it to be reprogrammed and/or I just couldn’t get it to work. Dr. Kathleen Chopra showed me how to fix it, clean it, etc., and alerted me in one instance when my hearing had changed so significantly that I needed to go back to my ENT for fuller testing. Dr. Chopra knows exactly how to help hard-of-hearing patients who lost their hearing as adults and do not sign.
I was fortunate to become a patient of Dr Gail Linn, Potomac Audiology, seven years ago. She is a superb practitioner in audiology, and has a national reputation for her knowledge, skill, and teaching . She is fluent with all the current high-tech equipment for ensuring the best possible match of a hearing aid with the patients needs (including the essential real ear technology.) She is thoughtful, kind, and tireless in finding the best solutions for each patient.
I have tried several other places for my hearing aids, but wasnt satisfied with the results until I met Gail. Gail is skilled, patient, and diligent in adjusting my hearing aids to my individual hearing. No other person did so much tweaking after the hearing aids arrived to make sure the hearing aids were adjusted correctly. Before I had paid for the first pair, she decided that another newer brand of hearing aid would be better for me and she was right. I have recommended her to others.
Absolutely the BEST AUDIOLOGIST!!! Dr. Gail Linn tested my mothers hearing and re-calibrated her hearing aid. In just minutes, I went from shouting at my mother to normal conversation! My mother is so pleased to be able to hear again. It is important for her safety, social enjoyment, and intellectual stimulation that my mother have as much hearing as possible. Dr. Linn is one of very few that measures the hearing. She does not just sell you expensive hearing aids that dont work. Dr. Linn is very pleasant and personable, and she makes it very easy to ask questions. The office is conveniently located in Rockville, MD. The street address is 11300 Rockville Pike, Suite 105, Rockville, MD 20852, but the building entrance is on Security Lane. There is a parking garage in the building and plenty of metered parking on Security Lane and Woodglen Road. The building and Dr. Linns office are handicapped accessible.
Professional, courteous staff and nice to work with!! Dr. Walden was exceptional. Jess (doctoral student) was terrific! I will return~
A terrific audiology practice. Dr. Terlep gave me all of the care, time, and flexibility needed to meet my hearing aid needs. Her experience was obvious and her advice was excellent. She encouraged me to try different things, including alternative brands of hearing aid until I was satisfied. She never pushed anything on me. She listened and responded fully to my hearing complaints and hearing aid critiques. I left with the feeling that my complete satisfaction truly was her greatest concern, and Im very happy with the hearing aids I ultimately selected.
Simply put, the service, the products and the prices are the best. And I have been using hearing aids since 1993 with a number of providers and in more that one city. I have had a significant sample.
You will hear clearly once Dr.Gail Lynn or her associates have taken care of you. If she wasnt so good, she would not have been selected to care for the old timers at Riderwood, who have plenty of octogenarian hearing problems. And she has a really good staff, so you wont wait forever for an appointment.
Dr. Gail and all the specialists are extremely knowledgeable and pleasant.
I have been to three audiology centers for testing and hearing aid evaluation and Potomac Audiology was far and away the best of the three. Dr. Tricia Terlep does the most extensive testing, the best explanation of the possible options, and the best fitting of a hearing aid. She brings a scientific, service-oriented approach to her practice. Compared to her, the two other audiology centers I have been were mere hearing aid salespeople.
Doesnt get much better, prompt and a great deal of product knowledge and friendly too!
Because you dont need an appointment to go over there and my sons hearing aids was broken and they fix it right away
If you value your hearing and desire patient, detail oriented and knowledgeable service, I strongly recommend Potomac Audiology and Dr. Gai Linn. You will not be disappointed.
Dr. Chopra is great! Kind, caring and knows hearing aids!
Dr. Linn the best audiologist of all that I have used in the past. Even makes house calls!!
I was examined by the receptionist who was very friendly, but unable to diagnose my ear problem.Doctor Terlep didnt even touch an otoscope - She spoke to me briefly and assured me my problem was very common, but she never examined me. What kind of doctor doesnt even examine her patient? Our interaction lasted all of thirty seconds - no diagnosis, no referral, nothing.I remain dissatisfied with the visit. The other reviews seem to be very favorable, so make sure to ask for Doctor Linn and hope for the best.
Excellent service.
Couldnt ask for a better experience. I have been with her for several years and referred several friends.
Qualified and helpful staff.
Best service ever!
