Four hours of waiting when we were told it would be much faster. The worker that was left said that the other employees had disappeared. They were gone for about an hour and a half and there were only two other cars there. Definitely would NOT recommend this place if you want quick service
Let me start off with the good. The staff is knowledgeable, patient, and eventually gets the job done. The only thing keeping them from being 5 stars is the multiple 2-3 hour waits it took to have one tire installed. If you are needing an emergency repair, go somewhere with a more experienced staff, because you will be camped out here all day long.
Jack at the front counter was an exemption to the unprofessionalism I experienced. I have used this auto care for the last 5 years and up until the last two times I used it(both times being this year and on two seperate vehicles), it was excellent for the price.I waited almost 4 hours for an oil change and new tires to be put on. This was an outrageous amount of time considering there was only one person in front of me. I will not be back. I recommend anyone to avoid using this Walmarts auto care service. You can go elsewhere for the same price and better service.
It takes a while to get in, but I was having issues with my battery, and they double checked everything. They did good by me.
Bought a new battery that lasted 2 days. When I tried to replace it they wouldn’t replaced it because they had to run tests to be certain that the battery was bad LOL!!! Test to a battery that lasted me 2 days. I waited 3 hours of my life. They charged it. Lasted a week. I took it to auto zone and bought a new one. Thanks autozone! I still have the battery for 2 months so far..... and going.
The guys at the counter are nice, only in the workshop it took about 1 hour just to say that they could not do the oil change because the drain screw was damaged. That took a long time to take a picture and say we cant do the job..
Very poor customer service. Takes a very long time to checkout. Let’s not talk about the wait time for service to be done. Never will come back . Should of gone somewhere else
Great, great, great!!I got really good tires at a really terrific price, on in short order followed with a courtesy call to pick up. Jack, the Service Manager, was helpful, pleasant and super informative answering all my questions. As well, the technician who installed the new tires was thorough and attentive to detail. These are the reasons Walmarts Auto Center is my go-to car care center. They take good care of their customers.
Very nice and efficient
Great place to get auto maintenance done and do a little shopping done. Service is reasonably priced. Waiting room with comfortable seating and close to additional automotive care products and assories, the kind I always seem to otherwise forget.
Great
Didnt have time for me
Wait times will depend on the circumstances of your vehicle. Such as vehicles with engine splash shields, that may be covering the oil drain plug and oil filter. This will need to be removed to do the oil change and then put back on.Then for having tire work done. Circumstances such as bent rims, or curb damage causing a sharp edge. Damaged or missing lugnuts. Damaged or missing wheel lock key. Damaged or missing studs. Damaged and or uneven tire tread wear. Large or oversized tires. Punctured tires with fix-a-flat inside them, Ect...All these and many more are factors to take into account for how long it will take for your vehicle to be completed. Completion times are estimated.Oil Change (15min - 30min)Headlight Restore (1H - 3H)Flat Repair (20min - 1h)Tire Replacement ( 20min per tire)*Example* Having a 4 tire replacement would be approximately 1H 20min.Add more time to your estimated completion time, if your vehicle has any of the above listed circumstances. So do the math people. If this shop has 10 vehicles already waiting for tire work, and you come in for a flat repair and they tell you its an approx 3 hour wait. You have an approximately 2 and a half hour wait till they get to your vehicle, then another approximately 30min for them to complete your flat repair. Thats also if your tire is even repairable, see the above circumstances. So those of you complaining that it took 3 hours for them to do a flat repair, thats how the world works. If youre the 11th car in line on tire side to have work done, youre the 11th car on tire side to get finished. Those of you getting tire work and complaining about people getting wrote up for work after you, and getting their vehicle finished before you. Its most likely because they got an oil change. Oil side and tire side are completely separate sides. If you went in to have work done on both sides, expect the appropriate wait times. Youre not special, and you will not cut ahead in line to get your vehicle done sooner. Not unless you previously made an appointment. Appointments are also for tire side only. If you have an appointment, you will jump to the front of the line at your scheduled appointment time. If you speak to Jack, the shop supervisor. He will tell you that his shop is completely and utterly 100% all about safety. So in other words, this shop wants to make sure you leave with a safe vehicle. They are not there for you to just get wrote up for work, and then get home in record time. Yes, they will get it done as quickly as they can, but they will do the work correctly. That way you can leave with a SAFE vehicle, and then actually make it home to your family. Have common sense people. You know there is going to be a wait time. If you dont want to wait around, drop your vehicle off and pick it up later. Im tired of coming in to have work done on my vehicle, only to hear some Karen complain that shes not getting some kind of special privilege. Or getting to have her vehicle done first or in a quicker way. Or complaining about her wait time, when I clearly heard them tell her how long the wait would be. Yet she still chose to get wrote up to have work done and wait. If youre an adult, know how to act like an adult, and not lacking in common sense. Then this is the shop to go to if you want your vehicle to be safe and done correctly. If you want to act like a child, and cry about how long you have to wait, then go to the DMV. They are better suited to handle your hissy fit.Yes, unforeseen accidents do happen. The people that work here though are extremely honest, and will always do what they can to make things right by you. We are all human, some of you just lack common sense. I will always go to, and I will always recommend this shop for anyones needs.
Was told it would be a 2 hour wait for tires to be installed. It ended up taking these morons over 4 overs to put tires on. I understand there were people waiting before me, but don’t tell me 2 hours and then take over 4 hours to do a job. I didn’t even want to take my car here but was in desperate need of tires so I did. Huge mistake and I would never in a million years let these clowns touch my car again. Huge waste of time and completely disappointed. Walmart is garbage and and so is there service.
About 7:30 am, I took my Dads Chevy Truck in to get a Oil/Filter Change, Air Filter Change, New Battery(Free Install) & while I was waiting, one of the girls showed me how to use their Key Replicating Machine. I dont recall their names but the three guys & gals that helped me were Great! Thank you. Bill - Sept 12, 2019
Takes far too long to get anything done. The last two times I’ve been in (once to have new tires installed and once to have a tire plugged) the staff was rude and gave me a completely inaccurate estimate of time. The new tires took 4 hours to get installed with only one person in front of me and they were almost done. This last time I was told an hour. The tech was complete with the one before me in about 15 minutes and then he disappeared for over an hour. It has now been an hour and a half and my car is finally in to be worked on.Poor customer service! The cashier (David) has been short and rude with everyone who has come to the counter since I’ve been here.Absolutely ridiculous!Unacceptable!
They are always busy. Plan to sit for an hour or two if youre lucky. The staff tries to help you and kind of helps but it looks and sounds like they really dont want to.
The people are great. But I believe they could use more help in the actual auto pit. Fixing a flat taking 3 hours is ridiculous.
Good prices, well organized, limited services (mostly tires, oil change, batteries, lube, filters), good customer service. Very reliable and trustworthy services. Excellent team and service manager Jack the best. Located behind store on southeast side.
Usually pretty decent service but today was not that great. Bought my lube service which like all of except pit crew is supposed to come with external window wash and internal vacuuum, but nether were done as well as they didnt bother to put the odometer on the service sticker. So after my 30-40 min wait had already been almost 2 hours I took back in my receipt and asked about the missing services. Super nice guy at the desk apologized and said they would fix it. Ok no prob, few minutes goes by, says its ready and they made sure they checked the fluids. Go out to the car which they have parked at the far end of the mostly empty lot, still had not vacuumed, still had not done the windshield and slapped a handwritten next to the other one. Whats the point in paying for the upgrade if they arent gonna do it.
Great staff. Rosa is awesome! Love her courtesy and kind manner.
I was shocked when the store clerk said it would be 2 hours to replace my Battery. This is what I experienced while there.Another lady had been waiting 2 hours to replace 2 tires.A sexy women came in and somehow she got special treatment and even though she came in behind everyone else, she left before all of us and only waited 45 mins. Then I saw 3 employees just standing around chatting with each other, even though so much work needed to be done, and we were all waiting for hours.I was not pleased with my experience, and if I need a battery or tire, WalMart will be my last choice!!!
3 hour wait to patch a tire! Its time to hire more people to work in the tire center! I wouldnt have tire work done here unless you can drop the vehicle and you have a ride.
The guys here work. Their short handed at times. I see they do their best. They work they do is always correct.
Dont even waste your time. I took my car there for an oil change and waiting for almost two hours even after CALLING before hand to make sure they werent busy he ensured me it wouldnt be too long. I was fine with waiting, but when he paged me an hour and a half later, I get back there to find they didnt even do my oil change because the handle on the dipstick was broken. They couldnt have told me that before hand? Then they were extremely rude when I asked why I wasnt told an hour and a half ago and said he couldnt call my phone cause it would have taken too much work to put in the code to call my phone number. Seriously a joke, save your time and go somewhere else.
Minimal waiting, cashiers/sales reps are always helpful and kind. On a previous visit my granddaughter suddenly became ill spitting up, they were very sympathetic and assisted me with whatever was needed to help. Ive visited the automotive department on numerous occasions and the males and female salespeople are equally knowledgeable, kind and helpful. GO-ooooo WALMART!!!
Wonderful experience, the staff is very capable and ready to help! Super friendly even when faced with disgruntled customers!
The only auto center I suggest around here. Jack the service manager is very kind, works hard, and knows what he is talking about. Highly suggest this location over other local Walmart auto centers.
Called to make sure they had tires in stock for my vehicle. Waited on hold for 15 minutes. Tried a second time. Phone was answered immediately and again I was asked to please hold. 10 minutes later I finally gave up and took my business elsewhere.
Wasted 2 hours trying to get my trucks tires balanced only to tell me they couldnt lift my F-250. Tire shop down the street had me in and out in less than one hour !!
Was next in line for an oil change and it still took them 2 hours to finish dont waste your time
Great employees but they just need more people working on the weekends they shorthand those guys and its not fair to them people are complaining in there its not the guys fault
Good place
Automotive Department service is excellent. Would like to thank Electronics department. I called on Sunday at 730 to ask about opening time for automotives and I couldnt get anybody to answer main phone so I hit the Electronics Department extension. The associate that answered on 08/12/18 was fabulous. He did say that he didnt know what time automotives opened but he stated he would put me on hold and walk back to automotives and find out. He answered 2 minutes later and responded, sir are you still there? I answered and he said, yes they are open. He went the distance for a customer. All I can say is Fabulous!
Service is VERY slow because they do not have enough people. I could tell them why, but WMT management knows more than anyone else and will not listen.
Ive been here twice...Not the best auto care Walmart has to offer at all...They will eventually get your job done...Dont be in a hurry....
Very very disappointed.. I know walt-mart wants to cover all markets to serve people. But o. The auto service they are very very unprofetional. I had to wait 3:30 hrs to get a flat tire fix.. When it was time to close qithcj was 9am. The tech noticed the time and he hurry up to get to my truck and got the tired fixed in less then 20 min. WowwwwWorkers there take their time because. They get paid by hr.. If it was comission im sure it was a different story. Any ways never ever again or i will not recommend Wal-Mart auto service..
Could be faster but great customer service 👍
Will only work on your vehicle if it is in perfect condition. They will not change the oil on older vehicles or work on used tires
They put the wrong oil in my car then tried to do a cover up. Very dishonest
SOOO SLOW!!! we got there and there were like 2 cars. We waited ore thank 2 hours just for an oil change!!! Our truck was the only car in there and nobody was even near it!! 3 guys were standing around playing and bulls €#ting!!! Completely unacceptable! !!!
Friendly workers, professional, and I saw a worker help an elderly gentleman out of the store with his things! Overall happy with the service.
I went for my oil change and shopping here. Professional and polite staff.
It was good but if you show up at 11:30 AM you can expect to wait for a time.
I went here to get my oil changed. There were no cars ahead of me. I got out of my vehicle to check in and the guy said that there were cars ahead of me. I could only see one. When I mentioned this to him and said I would go elsewhere suddenly I was next. It seems these guys are being lazy and dont want the business. He was very rude and unprofessional. Seriously makes walmart look bad I regret not getting his name.
Great work. Very long wait time.
Nothing needed to explain everyone knows about walmart.
The employees were nice enough, but being told that it would take 1 1/2 hours to patch a tire, then after waiting 1 1/2 hours being told it would be another 1 1/2 hours, is not acceptable.
These guys, along with the guys at OReillys, saved me some money when it appeared I had a dead battery. They tested the battery and advised me on what other issues may have been causing the problem...for free. Very helpful, straight to the point. Ive been to some TLEs in Missouri that are absolutely horrific in terms of service. These guys are great though.
Had an oil change done during peak business. The auto Dept. was slammed and I was still out in less than an hour.
Waited for well over 2 1/2 hours to get a nothing more then a simple oil change. When we finally left, the same customers were there from when we arrived.
Not good it wasnt what I sppecting people was not friendly and my service was done very quickly like they dont do nothing there was five guys just talking all the time doing nothing
Really respectful, friendly & trust worthy group of guys!
They do good oil changes for good prices!
I take my car there for servicing because of Craig in TLE. His attention to the customer and professionalism is great.
Ive been here for 45. Im the only person here but yet no Cars are in the bay.. ive had horrible time with all walmart except elm Springs walmart. FYI its the best walmart around... ive told the lady here to give me my keys Im out. She then went outside and said pull this ladies car in shes not happy.. I proceed to tell her what I thought but cut myself off and decided to just say Im bout to flip my switch... thus place pissed me off and its hateful employess.. I hope walmart see this and any other manager for walmart sees this. They need to fix it.. if other independent places would.do an oil change for.20 bucks theyd be in business...
Poor service, dislodged oil dip stick holder, had to have my car serviced again with sn extreme cost to me by the Chevoret service department
Great Service, best value, clean, convenience
Getting oil changes at the Rogers location sucks... They put the wrong oil in my Jeep the first time and wanted to argue about it but the manager Ryan made it right....
Worst place ever! Yesterday went here around 1 to replace my battery around 3 my car broke down in the middle of the road. I will return that battery for a FULL refund. To bad I couldnt give them -8 ! Fully dissapointed.
Took six hours to mount two tires...never go there .never go there.never!!!!!
They replace ONLY the size tire that originally came on your vehicle. 👎
Always a good place to find auto maintenance products and accessories
Can usually get in and out quickly.
Didnt have a long wait before having my tires serviced.
Checked a few fliuds, tires, changed wipers, the wait was long.
Long wait times and inaccurate estimate times dont go there unless you have an entire day to wait
Lowest prices slowest service
Oil change very nice
Good service and friendly staff
Fair
Great tire prices
Fixed my tire in no time flat
Usually very busy and long wait times.
Great tires
I arrived at 7:15 am for 2 flat repairs. was told there was only 1 person ahead of me (they were already in the bay). My car was in the bay at 7:35. I have watched the tech move PAINFULLY SLOW for 25 min on 1 repair and still not done!!!!!
Fast and prompt
I trust Walmart.
Out of the products I was needing.
Took a while to find a manager.
Staff is kind of weird
Very rude service.
New battery
The wait is too long
