Steven was an acquaintance of mine before I purchased a truck from him for about $4500.This was about 3 months ago now. He sold me a lemon. In the first 3 weeks I had to replace the battery and the alternator. I have just come to find out the truck I recently purchased from him now has 2 blown head gaskets. He will make promises to you that he will sell you a good working vehicle. He promised me he was going to fix the cosmetic damage to it before I made the purchase. Ive been in almost constant touch with him about the issues Ive had with the truck. He says he will help but he wont help. My advice to anyone purchasing a vehicle; find a dealership who will want you as a returning customer, not someone who takes the money and runs. My mistake was to trust him and now l have no transportation. Very poor business practices.

My finance agency took a little longer to get the loan sent to me, and they happily held my truck with no less than 6 other buyers clawing at it. The truck was a steal, and it has been flawless. Absolutely the worst dealership Ive ever been to. Asked very specific questions and was flat out lied to from an employee.Asked for maintenance records, about the tires and timing belt on a certain vehicle. I have the texts that show they said they had all maintenance records. When I came in from Houston to test drive the vehicle, the tires were worn almost bald on the inside, the maintenance records were not available and when they told me they would accept a certain amount, they didnt honor it when I got to the dealership.Basically nothing they said could be verified. They even tried to show me a carfax on the web, and I asked for a printed copy. They said sure, and just never went and got one.Be careful.

I purchased a 2005 Trailblazer from this dealership last May. I test drove the vehicle and while it had some minor concerns, I decided to purchase it since Mr. Douglas assured me that there were no other concerns with the vehicle - of course believing in his word. A couple of weeks later and only about 150 miles driven the car started to have major shaking and more prominent issues. As it turns out the car needed engine and transmission mounts, a throttle body clean, and all the front electrical wires since headlights burnt out. In short, the car needed about an extra $800 in repairs to kinda work. And it still needs more work. When I contacted Steve at first he ignored my texts, then contacted me to see about how to address those issues, and finally never got back to me. I had to make such repairs on my own.Make sure before purchasing any vehicles that you take them to a more honest mechanic for an inspection and make sure to have an additional budget for repairs.

This is the most honest car dealerships in Austin, Ive bought 2 cars from them and anytime I had questions they were happy and pleased to help. I work for a corporate dealership and Ive bought my cars from Dougles Auto Sales, 1 because they are trustworthy. 2 I was able to tell him the color of the Z71 tahoe I wanted inside and out and what I wanted to pay he found it for me within weeks and I drove it to Arkansas for our Vacation 2 days later.
