First I got to say Karen was a huge help today! I called Monday to schedule an appointment for Wednesday morning. Today I came in an I told the lady at the counter that I was here for my appointment and she didn’t have one for me. However she got me in ASAP an let me leave my car so I could go to work. She gave me great communication over the phone then proceeded to tell me what my damages to the car were. She explained thoroughly and polite. I then gave permission to go ahead and fix the damages on the vehicle. After two three hours got a call that it is ready be picked up. The work they performed was phenomenal! Definitely satisfied! Definitely will be back!

I took the vehicle in yesterday for a front end wheel alignment. When I picked the car up I was given paperwork for their estimate of everything else they say needs to be done. I was quoted a price of $129.00 for alignment. Cost of alignment was actually $149.00 after discounted coupon. I drove the car home and immediately experienced a problem with the steering wheel shaking hard. I called and was told it was due to the other issues they said needed to be repaired. So WHY didnt it shake like that before I took it to Tuffy? Drove my car today and now scared to drive it as something is going on with the steering that was not going on pre visit. When I went in and told them I called and was here with the car for the wheel alignment a man said, Oh good, I can get some experience on this now because I have never done that! Now what do I do about my vehicle? Saginaw, Bay rd.

Make sure your more than clear to them on what you want. After I was told how much the repairs were and that my struts were shot. I asked for pricing on the struts before any work was done. Then I decided to get a second opinion and went to pick up my vehicle, only to find out the initial repairs were made without my consent. When I told them I didnt want the repairs done. He did say he couldnt charge me, but I couldnt, in good conscience just not pay for the work they did perform. Needless to say I was very unhappy with this situation. However, the 4 wheel brake job they did do appears to be working fine.

Had them replace control arms inner and outer tie rods and front hubs so basically whole front suspension. When I left after it took them all day my car was worse than when I put it in. Come to find out they forgot to tighten a bolt. That could and did put my family at risk. Sorry but when Im paying you to fix my suspension mistakes should not happen cause that is something that could cost someone ther life. Change this to 1 star because I found out that when my wife to they vehicle back that thought it was a joke and laughing about the mistake. Dont go here they obviously dont take repairs seriously.

I went in for an estimate on a squeaking noise in my front end and left needing all new rear suspension! There was no problem with the rear end of my vehicle til i went here. They quoted the repairs to exceed the value of my older vehicle. Do not go here. They take advantage of the disabled.

This shop owner is great! Very helpful and kind, took excellent care of my vehicle. I definitely recommend this shop. Ill be sending my mother to them.

The guy was nice we thought they knew what they were doing, but then it took over 2 hours to get on the lift when i had a scheduled appointment, and an additional 5 hours to replace a doughnut gasket (exaust gasket)

Went in for wheel bearing a week later the tire blow off causing side damage to the body then when I called at 8 am they said they were sending someone out here it is 3pm and still no one… a insurance claim has been made 😡

Great place to get your car or truck fixed Sam the manager is truly as honest as they come. Give your keys to him and walk a away and know your vehicle will be fixed for a fair price.

Good customer service. James and Sam were extremely helpful and took the extra steps to correct issues another shop caused. Highly recommend giving them a chance if you want good customer service and honest work.

Let me start with the positives. The young man at the counter was an absolute delight. He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, fast-moving and extremely efficient. I really appreciate employee that operate this way. Thank you again, James!My issue with Tuffys are the prices. They charged me 100+ dollars for an oil change. I’ve never in my life paid even close to that for an oil change. If the prices were a little more practical I would probably make this my go-to place for vehicle work. The experience itself wasn’t bad, the pricing is what really turned me off to this business. Also, and I hate to say this, the practices seem a bit shady.I wish them the best of luck though.I would’ve given a two star review but the young man James was too great to leave a three star review.

Went in for brakes and alignment. There was one tire they could not adjust so the alignment was kind of useless, but I was still charged full amount. My steering wheel sits around 11:00 to go straight. Not very happy. I guess I am going to have to go to dealership next time.

Been here twice now. Both times they have lied to me about my car and its issues. Then they want to charge almost double what most shops would charge. I would recommend anyone else.

Well, things still didnt work out as planned, thanks for attempting to correct the problem. I still had to purchase 4 new tires. Also, had to pay for another alignment. Bell Tire did supply me a report on the alignment which showed the toe was still off. Thanks for your help.

Heard loud scraping noise coming from the front brakes. Thought for sure we had metal in metal. The owner got the car in right away and after inspecting said all brakes fairly new and that the dust cover was rubbing. Found a little looseness in one tie rod but nothing to worry about. No charge. Will be back anytime we need work!

Very unprofessional. I gave them a detailed description of what was wrong with my car and told them I needed it back that day. They told me it would a simple fix that would only take an hour. They had my car for 4 hours then called me 15 minutes before they closed, told me that they didn’t finish it, broke pieces of my car and that they wouldn’t be working on it for a few days. Picked it up that night and got it fixed elsewhere.

Brought in my own parts; they installed. good price. 5 star if it didnt take 5 hrs when quoted 2.5. Still awesome they did my oil change for cheap! (Brought in my own oil/Lucas/filter)

I have been coming to Tuffy in Shields for years and trust them with all my auto service work. Roy is always helpful and honest about repairs and what is needed and not needed and is a credit to that store. I did bring my vechile in once with a noise in the front end that another employee could not figure out what was causing it, said that it was not anything that could cause the car to break down. A little frustrating, but at least he was honest about not seeing anything that needed repairing.

Went in thinking I had a brake problem. I knew my car needed some work, as it had been awhile. It turns out there was nothing wrong with the brakes, but they were able to tell me what was causing the problem. While I was there, I had them fix a few other issues too. I really appreciate them being truthful about the brakes, they couldve very well said I was right about the brakes & added that onto the bill. The only downfall I could see, is they only had one technician available, which made me feel a bit guilty that others were waiting with much simpler repairs. I definitely would recommend!

Took our car in and they told us it would be about 2 hours then they would call us so we walked to the McDonalds and waited almost 2 hours and no call so we walk back and they were closed! The next day he charged another $100 because of a part that broke while they were fixing it.

When I took my car to Tuffys in Saginaw for a performance problem they told me that my erg valve was bad and needed to be replaced but no one in town had the part meanwhile they convince to let them replace the spark plugs(over A $100.00 mind you now)and it will run normal they said,I drove out of there a little over a hundred dollars lighter and with the same mechanical issue I came in there with meanwhile there mechanic breaks my whole housing for my air filter and airflow,I would advice to think twice about taking your vehicle here!!
