I’d like to bring everyone’s attention to a car dealership in Saginaw Michigan by the name of American Auto Group.My grandmother which most of Saginaw knows who she is, went to this place in search of a decent car.She looked at a 2007 Ford SUV, and decided she wanted to purchase the vehicle.Now this is where it gets scandalous in my opinion, the car salesman of the place told her $3,000 and a trade in for her 1999 Malibu.The SUV had over 300,000 miles on it as well as a couple of rust spots right.They were also gonna let her drive off the lot with the car without a License Plate because they were gonna switch everything over to this SUV through the Secretary of State. My grandmother put her “TRUST” in these people to do her right, so without signing any paperwork she gave these people the money because it was the end of the day and they couldn’t make a transaction with the Secretary of State. My grandmother came back the next day to do business, next thing you know, American Auto Group tells her that they couldn’t switch the plates over, so my grandmother changed her mind about purchasing the SUV, when she realized that it might be a mistake purchasing the vehicle she asked for her money back, and the people told her they weren’t gonna do that and the money was non-refundable which they failed to tell her that before she gave them her money.American Auto Group forced this SUV on my grandmother, which I’ll remind everyone that my grandmother is 88 years of age, my mother who was also with her, is 61 years of age. American Auto Group got over on two senior citizens and forced a car on her that was not worth its value in my opinion, on a 88 year old woman.Anyone, looking to purchase from this place, if I were you I wouldn’t do business with them or you could be next in a rip off.“Please Share This With Others From Our City”. I don’t want this to happen to anyone else.

Great people and they really listen. I dont have great credit but they worked with me and I got a nice ride and a payment that fits my budget. If you need help with a good SUV stop in and see these dudes. They are legit!

Had a really good time here. Was really happy with the selection of vehicles in my range. Owner did everything to help me out to get into the vehicle that suited me. Dont think I would go anywhere else now to buy a vehicle. Staff was really friendly and knowledgeable in the vehicles.

Wish there was a choice of negative stars.Be careful be very careful. These guys sell junk, youre lucky if your vehicle lasts a month after you buy it. And the very 1st time you are late with payment (even a day late) theyll repo it and wont send you a warning until after they take the vehicle. They repo cars every chance they get and resell it for exactly the same amount but will only make sure it is sound enough to get it off the lot. They found some loop hole in the law to get away with it. Maybe cause his daddy is a retired cop. If you go in there to discuss the repo he makes sure daddy is there with hand on his pistol he carries on his hip. I witnessed them escorting someone off property by the end of his 🔫. JUST BE AWARE BE VERY AWARE.

The worst service I’ve ever had. Had trouble with my car the day after I bought it. Wouldn’t start so I took it in to get diagnosed. Turns out the battery wasn’t hooked up right (something AAG’s mechanic should know how to do right). My mechanic found way more issues wrong with the car than just the battery to a point he said it shouldn’t have ever been sold. Called the dealership and the manager avoided Or never returned my calls. DO NOT SHOP HERE This place is shady!

This place sold me a lemon! This truck blew up with my newborn inside with me and we could have died. Luckily we aren’t hurt. I asked numerous times if the truck was safe to ride. The drunk was a death trap and a huge rip off.

Worst place to buy a car from. I was on a temporary layoff due to the gm strike and I was in constant contact with them and they came an took the car. Then wanted to charge me a $150 to get my things out of it.

Hey everyone. Just wanted you guys to know to never do business with this man! He charges triple if not more than what he pays for the cars and puts them on the lot as is even if he knows that they are about to go out soon! Horrible quality of cars! Then he charges a repo fee of 599$ but only pays the repo man 40 or 50 to go get the car. There are GPS devices in these cars so thats how he knows where they are at all times! My husband recently quit there because he couldnt bare to have the customers get poor quality cars for what he charges and didnt like how the customers were getting played. Just know Eric Fry is a crook and to never go here . But you have been defeated Eric Fry by my husband and you know what I mean by that. All the BS you are causing your customers is finally falling back on you and now you are paying for the loses of your faults!

Screw this place. Huge rip off, stay away from them. They are so shady. Their vehicles are all junk and they will lie to your face about what is wrong with the vehicle. They have a certified technician look it over before you leave but thats a lie too. I looked over everything after i left and i found numerous issues and Im not even a mechanic. I recommend looking elsewhere for your next vehicle.

Me and my family stopped in to look at few vehicles the staff and owner were very disrespectful and very suspicious about vehicles and other items that we were inquiring about I was inquiring about a SUV and a Truck and they are saying theres nothing wrong with it but very suspicious when I ask to hook up a scanner to it then I seen another item there was going to purchase along with the SUV and truck which was a riding lawn mower and they say nothing wrong with it. Go to check it out then the battery is dead then I go to check it out even further you know and leaking oil and all that all in all this place is a joke and very disrespectful and suspicious about their vehicles and other items that they may sell on the premises I would not recommend this place to anybody

As my wife already stated we recieved top notch service from AAG. We searched high and low for the perfect second vehicle throughout Saginaw. One that was in our budget, met our needs, low milage and an all around clean well maintained vehicle. She found a pristine burgundy Jeep Wrangler with only 60k on the engine. Only 1 previous owner and had a clean car fax report. I was apprehensive that the price could be below retail and have nothing wrong with the vehicle. Nonetheless, she dragged me in to check it out and we were quickly greeted by Eric Frey the owner. He was an easy going, friendly and hilarious man who was happy to help us find exactly what we were looking for. My wife expressed interest in the jeep and with out any delay he had us set up and out for a test drive. During our drive he showed us a few extras the jeep had yet never made us feel like he was pushing the sale on us. The best part was he was extremely personable and warm. A family man extremely proud of his kids and wife happy to joke and tell us about the family as if we were long time friends. After the test drive we were given the time to talk and think privately without any pushy sales tactics that all automotive sales men usually push on the general population. We ended up getting a great price with the perfect downpayment and low monthly payement with out the haggle and back and forth that were so used to. That being said we would 100% recommend Eric and American Auto group to all. Ive seen a few previous negative reviews which in this world is impossible to make everyone happy but in our experience they truly did. They went above and beyond to get us in to the vehicle we wanted at a price we wanted to pay!!! So if youre looking check them out. From our experience you will not be disappointed.
