Delicious hazelnut ice blended coffee! The staff was friendly and patient with me after asking a dozen questions and they even made recommendations on which plant-based milk blended well with the coffee! The place is super cute. Nestled in the middle of a neighborhood surrounded by green! Felt like I was in Seattle or Portland! We got to enjoy the fresh crisp air with our fur babies. :) The only sad part was that they didn’t have vegan options for their pastries.
Pluses: we live in the hood, so it’s an easy walk! Great outdoor seating. Great breakfast burritos. Loyalty card. Great staff. Downside: the coffee isn’t good! The coffee arrives approximately twelve seconds after ordering (for an Americano), and tastes like watered down milk. Clearly there’s not much bean grinding happening back there. Unfortunately the drip is no better. Ask for it strong!
The apple slaw was the freshest dish that I have had in a long time. The Utah Turkey Dip was also the first dip sandwich that I liked! My recommendation is the grapefruit cheesecake. The server, Sally, was very kind and accommodating. She even helped my mother with sugar packets when her blood sugar was low. Thank you so much Sally!
This is a great coffee shop with great employees! They have tasty coffee and great tasting treats. There is plenty of space for you to do whatever it is you do in a coffee shop. The employees let me run around and snap photos which was really cool. This is defiantly one of Salt lakes best coffee shops. Most defiantly worth a stop.
Outdoor coffee shop with nice tables and chill atmosphere. There are no bathrooms though :/
Cute outdoor dining area to enjoy your coffee. Fast and friendly service.
I frequent here and i mean frequently and im never disappointed!! they have the best cold brew & their coffee whipped cream on a con panna is to die for. if you’re looking for great coffee & friendly staff coffee noir is the place!
Great coffee and great atmosphere. Bring friends here for a chill place to hangout for a while.
A great local coffee spot! They employees are so nice and quick! It also has a great patio!
I visited here for the first time a week ago with my daughter. We took a walk and stopped there. They had adapted to covid and had a great set up for walk in service and outdoor seating. There were lots of people there picking up. We were in and out in minutes with friendly service. I had their dark mocha. It was excellent. I highly recommend them to grab food or coffee if you are just in the neighborhood or looking for a new place for coffee.
No restroom or indoor seating. Average coffee, not bad if youre in the area. Nice outdoor seating, nice staff.
It’s a cozy place to chill, drink some coffee, and chat. Good place if you want to get away from the populated areas of SLC and take advantage of outdoor seating. There are plenty seatings for several people.
Solid latte. They really have a (2 door) system in place for ordering and then picking up your coffee.
Great coffee and amazing neighborhood gem of a quiet spot. Plentiful outdoor seating and nice staff
I like coffee noire for a quick but nicer coffee shop experience. The coffee here, which is always my primary concern, is tasty. They dont serve some the more artisinal formats such as pourovers but thats not really the experience theyre going for. In non-covid days the interior is small but the exterior dining area are reasonably nice. There are almost always a number of guests though so youre unlikely to get a truly quiet/private coffee shop visit here.
Coffee Noir is my favorite neighborhood coffee shop. Ive never had a bad experience here. I always get a breakfast burrito and a latte of some sort, and Ive never been disappointed. They have also adapted to covid safety protocols very responsibly.
This place rocks. First time there today, and I’ll be back. Got a couple of white mochas, and they were delicious. Not too sweet, which is great because so many places dump a bucket of sugar into this kind of drink. I like my coffee to taste like, ya know, coffee, not a gallon of syrup. Really friendly and personable employees too. Feels like a really inviting environment, and I’m all about that.
Perfect neighborhood coffee shop with friendly baristas, good espresso, and outdoor seating. They also receive pastries in the morning from a local baker, so its a great coffee and quick snack stop. They follow covid precautions really well, as the entire inside area is closed for now, open only to ordering at the door window.
Friendly little neighborhood coffee shop. Coffee’s great, food is top notch for a coffee shop.
Good coffee kind of expensive. You order outside and wait outside
Love this place. The manager/owner is a bit moody looking, but the employees all rock an the coffee is one of the best cups Ive ever had...it continues to put other brands an shops to shame.
Great neighborhood spot for a quick cup. They have adapted their business very nicely to support pandemic awareness and healthy interaction.
Best outdoor patio in the city. In non-Covid times they have infinite refills on coffee, allowing for maximal enjoyance if the sun. In door space is limited
Lovely coffee shop. Great tasting drinks and friendly service.
Best iced coffee in SLC!
Food with real quality ingredients. The service was very helpful and observant. This place has a great atmosphere.
The food was tasty. Had a friend come into town and asked me to take him here again. Prices were average for the menu. Feeling here is like a restaurant in Fort Worth I liked.
Pretty rude employees and I don’t really think they care. Walked in on the side entrance after seeing two people walk out with their from the same entrance. Went inside to be told rudely I have to walk back out and go to the other entrance. I apologized and was very nice and told him I didn’t see a sign. That seem to make them angrier because I was told once again there was a sign on the door. Apologized again because I didn’t see it. Go around to the other door only to be told once again quite rudely they’re not taking cash. If you like rudeness this is your place. Want to be treated nicer go elsewhere. Hey I get it if they know you you can come in whatever entrance you want. If they don’t know you you have to use their designated entrance
Love love love this coffee shop. Super friendly staff, quick drink turnover and awesome Covid precautions. We love around the corner and love walking to their neighborhood gem throughout the week.
Good place for drink coffee
Love the patio & their COVID safety protocols seem to focus most on protecting their employees. Which I really like seeing. I like the choices of so many fancy syrups too!
Great coffee and pasteries. Nice outdoor seating and friendly staff.
Extremely kind employees and fantastic menu. There are so many drinks unique to this place it is just absolutely addicting. Amazing!
Fun little neighborhood coffe shop with a patio area, though it can only seat a few people given social distancing. Staff was kind, though certainly transactional, and given that it was my first time I wasn’t aware that they make your order and then leave it out back for you to pick up, so I waited for quite some time before observing another customer retreiving their coffee first. That said, it tasted good, the baked goods were delicious, and it was nice to have a little local place to sit with a buddy and chat. Really too bad the street nearby is still wrecked from the terrible windstorm!
Small place but its very nice, staffed by some really cool people. Great coffee, great price.
The staff was very sociable and kind. prices that are reasonable. feels like a place in charlotte that i enjoyed visiting.
Cute (:
The food was so savory. ill return friends next time. prices were reasonable.
Great staff and coffee! 🍵☕😊
I love this location. It’s not only walking distance for me but the patio and atmosphere is my favorite. The cold brew is amazing. They have many many options.A gentleman was working yesterday and he was soo kind. I accidentally didn’t specify I wanted sugar free syrup. After making it I realized, and with out a blink of an eye he started to make me a new one with sugar free. It’s the little things. He made my day. Great customer service! I wish I could recall his name. But I really appreciate what he did.
Love this place for 2 yrs now so happy they are open and the paito is open. For the none vulnerable customers. Thanks to the owner and employees ! The paito is brilliant cross table talk happens often. life has no meaning so you have to give it meaning how i do that is the discovery of others humanity as in the end it is the discovery of my own.
Honestly, great coffee and the woman at the desk is super nice and knowledgeable. I also love that they dont pile on the ice by default like Starbucks does. Still the best iced mocha Ive ever had. :)
Traditional drink menu (cant go wrong) with solid outdoor seating options (+ misters)
Wonderful local neighborhood Cafe
Love love love the dirty chai and bran muffins! 😍
Great chai!
First time customer. Friendly services, really affordable latte and giant muffins. Will be back
I just ordered one of Coffee Noirs legendary mochas. It was as promised, very tasty. What wasnt advertised is that the barista wasnt wearing any type of mask. Look, I get it. You guys are Trump supporters. I have no problem with that. I respect your right to vote for whomever you want. No issues. But Im in a double-risk category for the Covid-19 virus. So I cant recommend this place to anyone at risk for the virus. I want to live to see my daughter graduate from The U. And going back to the Noir doesnt do it for me.
With a plastic patrician between us they still require you to wear a mask. Just lost my business as I was coming there for the first time. It will be my last. Wake up!
Best patio in all of Salt Lake! Honestly, the coffee and the pastries are alright (I mean free refills though which is nice). But the real reason to go to coffee noir is the atmosphere. Friendly service, cool people, and seriously the nicest patio in all of Salt Lake.
Great food and coffee, love the precautions theyve taken for covid as well.
Local coffee shop. Crowd - mostly students and local residents. Nice and quite. Coffee is good, but nothing special.
Great small coffee shop. They have great specialty drinks, nice outdoor and indoor seating and very friendly baristas. Its a good spot to study, read or grab coffee with someone and chat.
The bill was fair for the quality of the food. This place has positive reviews for a reason.
Probably the best place to grab coffee and study in Salt Lake City. Although, a few things:The coffee is terribleThe food is not quite terrible, but a little bit badThe staff are awesomeThere are free refills on coffeeThe outdoor seating is really nice when it’s nice out, and it’s a comfortable spot right next to the university. Can’t really ask for more in a coffee shop. Besides better coffee.
I love to stop in and relax outside with fresh coffee and the best burritos. Its a friendly cozy stress-free hidden oasis.
Good location, patio is gorgeous, and service is very good. Prices were very reasonable. Their cold brew is SO MUCH better than the other local shops that have flourished recently in the area... this is REAL coffee here, ladies and gentleman. Dont pass this place by.
Great food with healthy options. Service was a little slow. I went on my birthday, and just from hearing us casually talk about my birthday, the waiter surprised us with cookie cake and ice cream for me...a great surprise!
I always love this little coffee shop. The coffee is always good but they could use more indoor seating. Not good for meeting with groups of 4 or more
Adorable outdoor seating area and great coffee.
My favorite neighborhood coffee shop! Ive moved twice since coming to Salt Lake City, and Coffee Noir has tempted me with its convenient location every time. I walk over with my partner often for a delicious coffee drink. I love their Milano roast, and their cold brew is perhaps the best in the city. Superb pastries and croissants. Their porch seating is superb for some peaceful reading.
One of my favorite coffee shops!
Very cute, the outside seating can get crowded
Cute cafe popular with students some of the best coffee in slc :)
Nice people who have great pastries and terrible drip coffee. The espresso drinks are probably good, but I just get the iced tea any more. Best selection anywhere of crescent sandwiches. I miss Erin; hope she comes back. Not sure why their prices dont include tax. I always end up with a pocket of pennies and nickles after going there.
Thank u for your hot sauce selection. Made this girls day! And the tea was splendid.
Great place with excellent food. Food is better than the coffee and the coffee is pretty good. Please put prices on the food.
A small coffee shop in the middle of a neighborhood that has a tendency to get a little crowded, especially when school is in session. Regardless, this shop has excellent coffee and a small but wonderful selection of pastries. The cinnamon roles and all the croissants are excellent. Its probably one of the better places to get a pastry and a cup of coffee in the city, but most people kind of forget about it. Its definitely worth the stop.
Amazing coffee and also the cutest place. It’s one of my favorite spots to be honest.
The location is awesome especially in the summer. The people who work there have always been super friendly too!
Great coffee. Very friendly stuff. A nice place to be on your lazy afternoon or have a coffee with a friend. Both inside and outdoor seating available.
Cool little eclectic coffee shop in downtown Salt Lake. Nice friendly staff and a few regulars as customers. Great place to stop in for a drink and read a book or work quietly.
Cute, quaint, and nestled in a neighborhood. Their wide variety of croissant sandwiches made for a yummy breakfast. Parking can be tricky since they don’t have their own lot.
I go here after every dentist appointment to reward myself for being a good adult. Its a cute, fast little spot and their dirty soy chai is delish.
Espresso flavor is the best I have ever had. Drip coffee is good. Pastries are high quality. Prices are not back considering the high quality. Service is friendly, fast and they even remember your regular drink.I almost decided to stop coming at one point because the shop was understaffed for morning rush. Lately there have been more staff.
Good coffee and very vigilant about safety.
Both times Ive come here I ordered an extra small and extra dry cappuccino. and both times they have been perfect!! and extra dry (which is rare) :D thank you!Their espresso has a very earthy flavor and a great boost of caffeine
Great coffee and awesome baristas!
Without a doubt the best coffee shop in Salt Lake. My weekly trip to SL always includes a stop here for a mocha and breakfast sandwich. Delicious!
Coffee was good. Pretty tight when movjng around and not all the tables have access to electrical plugs.
Excellent little coffee shop just east of downtown salt lake. Nice out-of-the-way place thats still in the middle of town. Good service and coffee.
Friendly service, very good latte
Great coffee, friendly staff, very noir, chill atmosphere. Very recommended to try this place at least once. And fun fact, this is their only location. So if youre in from out of town or want a new place to chill, go to Coffee Noir in Salt Lake City.
My favorite little coffee shop away from the busy city, but close enough to be convenient. I hate to promote it as it is my favorite place, and I really dont want other people to find out about it :)CoffeeReasonably priced. I only get coffee, black, and either in my own cup, or in their to stay cups. Their coffee is above average flavor, and pretty much destroys anything I can make at home. I have had a little better, but only at expensive/artisan type of places.Customer ServiceAMAZING! I have never been to a place where I felt more welcome. For the most part everyone that works there is both warm and eager to be helpful.AtmosphereResidential, but still on 200 south, so a little bit of car and foot traffic. But there are TREES, and no tall buildings so it it very relaxing :)WifiConsistent, I have only had very minor issues here and there.
Always a good place to get nice cup of coffee
I really liked this little coffee shop. Why? Because the coffee was great. What else should I rate a coffee shop on?
Coffee Noir is a small but delicious coffee shop. They have some indoor seating but a fair amount of outdoor seating. Overall, Noir has a cozy atmosphere. The food options are limited to only a few pastries. However, they have many kinds of tea and numerous forms of coffee. They often make unusual and interesting coffees like the Aztec which is similar to a mocha, but has some unique flavors (I ordered it a month ago so I cant recall most of the ingredients). The shop is also located adjacent to a neighborhood and is on the way to the University of Utah for many peoples commute. In brief, this is a convenient and delicious coffee shop that is great for people on the move but also has room to sit down if desired.
Good atmosphere, coffee and treats. My daughter and I go here for coffee and a treat before hiking on Sundays now
Noir is a staple in Salt Lake City. The kind staff and excellent cold brew have kept me coming back daily even after I moved a bit further away.
This is my home away from home coffee shop. Never had bad service, and their coffee and pastries are delicious. Their patio is also comfortable and always occupied by a cute dog or two.
Great neighborhood coffee shop. Wish they still sold day old pastries
Nice local coffee shop with dog-friendly patio and good service.
Nice little coffee shop. Their coffee is descent. It seems they don’t bake their Pastries (look like Costco ...). I asked one of their baristas to warm up my drink. He asked me why I didn’t drink it faster. He had a hard time to convince himself to warm up my drink. Beside that the rest of their baristas are nice people.
