What a disappointment. Clearly something is seriously wrong. Employee didnt know the flavour the fruit filling. Didnt know how long the location we were at had been open. He thought 4 years. Cookies werent just under baked they were actually raw. Only 4 flavors of cookies are now available. Kitchen is in shambles. 20 bucks for 4 cookies. What a disappointment. The 2 of us didnt even eat them all. Total waste of money. Clearly the owner is either MIA or just doesnt care. Dont waste your time going to Chip Cookies.

Tasty chip cookies. I visited all the different places for cookies and I keep going back to the one I visited first, the CHIP one. Simply the highest. Great ratio of chocolate chips. New, homemade cookie kind of taste. The next day the tastes even better. Every month I love the various flavours. Hope to get a box soon.

This place is incredibly overrated.Amazing branding and identity. Great location. Clean. Nice staff.I get the value add here is that they make a decent cookies that is fresh and they are open late and they deliver. I was not impressed with the cookies though.The cookies are huge but a large portion of the middle is almost like raw dough.If you are huge cookie dough fan, than this is probably the place for you. Otherwise, there is so many other good places around that I would go over this place.

I feel like most of the time I write reviews it’s because I feel really bad for the workers. Tonight was no exception. There was one person working on a Saturday night and I felt so bad for her! She was doing her best but there is no way to work this busy location all by yourself. Management needs to change something.

I placed an order at the Salt Lake location and I just simply didnt get my cookies. I placed an order at 8:30 and I got a confirmation saying that they would be here between 9:00 and 9:30. In the confirmation text I received when placing my order it said to contact a certain # with any concerns. I called that phone number several times and nobody ever answered, the recording just said they were helping other people so while I wait they would play Bob Marley (lol) but instead of Bob Marley the phone kept ringing and then I was sent to voicemail. On the confirmation I received on their website there was no option for me to cancel the order either but there was a link I could use that took me directly to email. I sent them an email and someone from the Provo location said they would look into this. I gave them my order number and they said that they didnt know what was going on but other people had had problems with this location tonight too. They then, at around 10:30 said they could help get this sorted out. An hour goes by and I havent heard anything from anyone. I email them again, call the phone number and I dont hear from anyone. I still do not have any cookies and yet I was charged for cookies, a $6 delivery fee, and a tip. I love the cookies here, but this was a tragic experience. They straight up have my money, tip included (why are we forced to tip before we are served anyway?) And I have 0 cookies to show for this. The lack of communication is annoying but whats more bothersome is the fact they stole my money.

Andrew was amazing. He loves what he does and the cookies are phenomenal. The small chocolate chip was really big and it was melt in your mouth. Would recommend anyone to give it a shot and be blown away

I don’t think I’ll go to this location again :( I love chip cookies from any other location, but I’m never satisfied at the Salt Lake one. My cookies were overcooked and hard. There was only one staff member working on a Saturday night, and a lot of customers. He was really nice, but he didn’t know how to use my gift card. When I’ve ordered delivery before, they always take way longer than it estimates, usually two hours to get the cookies. Sad :(

We ordered Chip for our monthly birthday treat at work. What a hit! They even delivered! Four HUGE boxes of freshly baked cookies. Delicious!But my very first experience of Chip was a few weeks ago when I received a surprise delivery of warm cookies to my home. I had no idea until a text message was sent to me indicating my cookies were on the way. It was better than getting flowers!

Super friendly and welcoming staff! Went there for the first time this weekend and love it! They only sell their cookies in boxes of four or in bags of frozen dough so you can make some at home. Their cookies are HUGE!!! I barely finished one! They always have chocolate chip, which is amazing! And the rotate another flavor. The cookies were perfectly baked, we’re talking when you pull them apart they are warm and the chocolate chips are melted inside! I got one box and have been eating one a day since I got them, just microwave for a few seconds and they go great with coffee!

Went here for an interview loved the managers great ladies with awesome attitudes. Made me feel very welcome and comfortable right from the start. There cookies are amazing I love that they have a cookie in honor of autism awareness. Great experience and will definitely be going back for more yummy treats!

Look around for the south doors when you get to the parking lot, theres should be a little ramp and a sign to direct you in. Took a minute to find but such a cool experience. Theyre located behind another business and simple set up with a simple menu selection. The cookies were amazing, especially eating them fresh out of the oven, we finished half before we got home. Definitely have to come back to try the red velvet.

Chip is ahhhmazing, we had a Saturday evening craving and Chip didnt disappoint. We ordered online and received your warm and gooey cookies within 30 minutes, wow!! Super buttery and delicious, the cookies are big enough to split among two people. Will def order again! YUM!! really nice

There was a HAIR in the cookies. Not like. A small hair on top of the cookie. No this was a long hair cooked into the cookie, so I couldnt wipe it off or pull it out! Truly dissapointed that this would happen.. it was very gross

Have gone multiple times in the last couple months in the afternoon on my way home from work, to go home empty handed because they are out of the flavor I was wanting to buy. Location seems understaffed and unable to keep up with demand.*Update: Went back because I wanted to try the Muddy Buddy cookie. Cookies were awesome, but found hair in two cookies.

These cookies are something else! When I was told about this place I was very skeptical about how good were the cookies going to be and they over delivered. The taste, consistency, the packaging and the feeling when you’ve arrive at their store is definitely great. I have been here 3 times in two weeks and every single time it has been delicious. Highly recommend them.

Please bake your cookies better. I really like this place and go there fairly often, the branding and the cookies are very nice and thus the 4 stars ... BUT ... at least half the time the cookies are under baked leaving a raw center of cookie dough (see photo). Some people might like eating raw cookie dough but Im not one of them. If you have to err on one side or the other Id rather the cookies be over baked a bit rather than getting raw cookie dough. If your sole product is cookies they should be baked perfectly ... every time. Please sort this out Chip cookies.

Ordered on the app, after several changes to the delivery time, they finally came after almost 2 hours, to the wrong house?! Had to meet the driver down the street. App needs an update to show ETA. I am an avid fan of Chips! Only caveat is they started delivering with DoorDash on busy nights and when you pay with Apple Pay you cannot add delivery notes. This has caused many delivery drivers to literally either leave my box of cookies outside my apartment building or to simply never deliver them. Until this is fixed I would not recommend ordering delivery if you live in an apartment building but I would recommend stopping by their beautiful store and get some delicious cookies :) A word of caution though... last time I stopped by to get cookies there was a family of 5 there, all without masks and felt that could have been handled differently, not for me but for the safety of the young cashier who probably has to go home at the end of the night to his elderly relatives. But again, the cookies are extremely delicious!!! 🍪 😋

Popped in around 9PM and the place was so busy! Kevin was working alone and he was an absolute rockstar, he got everyone’s order correct, handled the stress well, and handed out cookies with a smile! Plus the cookies were great!

Chip is 90 times better than any other cookie place. Everyone else has a TERRIBLE, bland batter and pump the icing full of flavor. Chip actually bakes cookies and theyre soft, warm, buttery, and straight out of heaven.

Ordered two boxes of OG cookies. Did not get a notification or any indication that they had been delivered. When we finally did discover they were delivered only one box was the OG cookies. The other box had four different cookies. Tried calling the store three times to correct the mistake but no answer each time. Terrible customer service.

They for sure make some yummy treats that are worth a try, but the customer service is horrible and trying to get them delivered is a joke. I never got my order and was still charged for it days later-- since then, I have been trying to contact the store (pretty much non-stop) for the past several days now and the number listed just clicks over to a voice-mail box that states its full and unable to accept new messages; they wont respond on social media either. I ended up having to dispute the charge with my bank.

We have been getting cookies here for months. Normally service/cookies are amazing but this is what we were given tonight. We were the only customers and there were numerous workers. I stood at the counter for a few minutes before anyone acknowledged me. Then it took another 10 minutes to prepare this box........ had the cookies been fine I wouldve ignored the lack of customer service but opening the box did not bring me joy like it normally does. I dont expect perfect every time but this is not what they should be handing paying customers.

I ordered two boxes of OG cookies for delivery and only one box was OG. I called the store several times to resolve the problem, but each time was sent to voice-mail. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service. Would not recommend ordering delivery from this establishment.

Placed order around 6:45 at night, got a text saying it had been delivered but no cookies...even checked with neighbors etc but none to be found. Tried to call the store which proved to be difficult...no answer and voicemail full. Called another location and they couldn’t get a hold of them either. Finally resorted to emailing and got a response that the driver said it was difficult to see my address and may have delivered to the wrong house....I have big house numbers above my garage that are lit up all night long. By this time it’s around 10 pm and still no cookies. Finally decided to just place a second order (we were REALLY craving cookies) and so placed another order with a note on the comments that this was a second order and to please refund me for the first one I didn’t receive. I got a confirmation of the order and it kept telling me it was delayed and delayed. Got to midnight and still no cookies. Then got a message that they wouldn’t be delivered because I missed the ordering window...what?? They refunded my money for both orders but after 5 hours and multiple orders, I still didn’t have cookies!!! Not sure how this happened but we were frustrated and still craving cookies. Beware of this location and their incompetent delivery drivers and total lack of customer service. If you are craving their cookies, you are better off to just drive to their store!!

I personally prefer Chip over Crumbl. Both are very good but Chips recipe is at tad bit better! Cookies are always nice and warm & of course, a generous size. Late hours are a plus!

Just heard about Chip from a co-worker and decided immediately to surprise my SO with a box after we had dinner. He was so shocked when a guy knocked on the door to deliver a box of cookies he just mumbled a ‘thank you’ to him. When he got the box inside he asked a million questions and then dropped his jaw when he opened the box to see 4 HUGE WARM COOKIES sitting there! I’m not a big cookie fan but these are freaking. amazing! It was the best thing ever and I hope to be able to surprise all my loved ones with CHIP cookies in the near future!

Update on review: It has been over a year now and I still come here frequently. These truly are the best chocolate chip cookies on Earth. They are cripsy on the outside, and gooey and dough on the inside. They are almost spherical in shape and not flat like a normal cookie. I have seen a bunch of Crumbl stores pop up recently but guys Chip is 100 times better than Crumbl when it comes to the quality and taste of the cookie.Delicious, warm cookies! They are gigantic and oh so thick. Cost is $10 for a box of 4 cookies. I think the price is very reasonable for how yummy they are. As of right now, you do have to order a whole box of 4 and cant buy single cookies. They are opening up a legit storefront tomorrow, so maybe with time they will change that and add more flavors. I just wish they delivered to West Jordan!

Terrible experience tonight! After realizing our order was going to be over 2.5 hours late, we called 3 times to cancel. We also sent an email as they didn’t answer any of the 3 calls. After all of that, they still showed up and knocked on our door after 10pm (we had a 7-7:30 delivery window) which made our dog bark, waking up our 2 year old and 1 month old.

It pains me to leave a 1 star review because Ive had good experiences with them before but last night was a major exception and a terrible experience. When I placed my around at 10:50 the ETA was 11:30 p.m. we thought we can stay up until then for cookies why not. Well we got a confirmation email and then nothing after that, no text update, no tracking was available in the shop app nothing! When the time rolled around our cookies would be delivered we kept checking and no cookies. I wanted around my complex because sometimes they get delivered to the wrong place nothing. I call auto recording. Left a voicemail because at this point its 12:30 and Im not not even sure im getting cookies anymore. No call back. My cookies werent delivered until 1 am and they were cold, total let down. I honestly get yall get busy but give realistic delivery times if thats the case because I wouldnt have waiting up until 1 am for cold cookies that i paid $17 for if Id know this....super disappointed.

Let me preface this... I LOVE CHIP. I hyped this place up and finally took one of my friends here, but when we arrived the other night around 9pm it was by far the weirdest experience of my life. First of all it was bare in there. The people working did not acknowledge really anyone that was in there, and the cashier was hacking underneath her mask. I hesitated leaving to be honest, and the other girl that was in there with us actually did. When we finally did order, it was a struggle. Having to repeat our cookie selection multiple times. Side note, there are only 3 options. I get it people have their days, and I love the quality of these cookies. That does NOT change, but the experience. Well... these two healthcare workers are gonna hope that we dont get COVID.

I have been going to the Salt Lake City location since it was out of the little start up kitchen on 2100 S. I have always been a huge fan of Chip and felt like they were always upping the ante. For the past couple months I have been underwhelmed with the quality of service I have been receiving. Today marks the third time I have gotten dry, old, or overcooked goods. I don’t know why the quality has dropped so drastically. Maybe this is due to the COVID situation or poor quantity estimating but it just seems ridiculous to go to an establishment that promises fresh and warm only to get old and cold. Tonight only one Baker was manning the register, the ovens, and boxing orders. At 8pm which according to google is a peak time. I am surely three people could safely work during the 2-3 hour peak period to lend a hand. I love this company and I want to continue to see it expand. Just not at the cost of quality and customer satisfaction.

They do A LOT with their limited selection that changes month to month. Sometimes they take a little long but the wait is always worth it. If you havent tried chip, you need to. Goes great with Oat milk.

Driver delivered wrong cookie order. Called to speak with someone about a refund, but only got a voicemail. Not good customer service to have just an answering machine when there are employees working the shop for occasions such as this.

I ordered cookies for a dear friend of mine that was having a tough time. They never got the cookies.. because there was some power outage of sometime. That was LAST week!! And I have not heard from CHIP about a refund or how they will proceed to carry out my order. They charged me and then never delivered. TERRIBLE service. I do not trust CHIP anymore. From now on I will go with Crumbl. Thank you very much.

Delicious cookies but poor customer service. I frequently order cookies online and have them shipped to Chicago. This last order the lemon cookies I received were paper thin and in pieces and they could not be put in a gift basket as intended. The cookies did not look like anything advertised and I have never had issues before. I reached out via email twice now and via telephone and have heard nothing back. I really expected better from Chip.

We always head here, at least once a month. I went in at an unusual busy time, the staff was friendly like always- to friendly this time. A gal had not spoken up about the staff missing or skipping her order so another gal spoke for her and threw way to much attitude. The staff ended up giving both gals (separate parties) a free milk. Watching the interaction, closed mouth don’t get fed SO the attitude that came with it shouldn’t have been thrown and neither party should of gotten the free milk. Again closed mouth don’t get fed. But it shows how much the staff still looks out. ❤️

I don’t like undercooked cookies made of warm dough. The cookies are in a ball and it’s probably impossible to cook the inside fully without burning the outside. My chocolate chip cookie was slightly cooked on the very edges, the rest was warm dough. Maybe you like cookie dough instead of crisp cookies, if so, you might love the cookies here.My suggestion for them is to make the cookies flatter by squishing them more before cooking them. Also cook them longer.

Find Better shipping or stay with local delivery. I ordered mine on the 30th and they are still not delivered. The shipping keeps moving and now it’s showing Monday. Almost two weeks for cookies?! Will they even be “fresh” online says keep out for 3 days then freeze. Mine have been in a truck for 11 days. Don’t buy unless you can get same day delivery. While some might think- that’s the carriers fault...I blame the company for not finding a better service to use.

I tipped a doordash driver and I asked them if they received my tip, to my surprised they did not and this business stole the tip from the doordash driver, dont still tips ! This is unethical ! I had to make a report to doordash about it.

This location is my go to. Today when i went, Deanna was great help when we couldn’t find my rewards info. Quick and easy service. If you don’t eat at Crumbl, you don’t even know what you’re missing out on.

First and last time I order on the chip app! 😡Not only did they give me the wrong time for delivery but they charge $3.99 plus tax . But I also called them to check on my order and they told me it was heading out for delivery . Keep in mind I ordered at 9:30 pm and the app presented 10:00-10:30pm and when I called it was passed 10:30 pm they said the delivery in there system was between 10:30-11:00pm. Well it passed 11pm and still no delivery and than 11:15 hit a called again and no answer. If it weren’t for us going I to the store in where they tell us they have not left for delivery and on top of that they tell me they ran out of the s’mores chip ones which is what we wanted. They close at midnight at this point in time it was 11:40 and we were never notified of what’s going on till we stepped in the store. I was charged and didn’t receive no confirmation just time of delivery and order process Which was not accurate at all to what they communicated. Very mad and disappointed with their customer service. 😔😡I was excited for those cookies too..

These cookies are what cookie lovers dream of. Fat, scrumptious, baked perfectly on the inside with a tad bit of that doughy goodness on the inside. They have been our sweet escape while being in town.Seriously, they are soooooo good that the first two boxes we ordered were gone in 3 days so we had to go back for 2 more boxes.The OG chocolate chip is where its at! You CANNOT go wrong with this cookie. 4 come in a box or you can get 9 minis.They usually have a flavor or 2 each month rotating in. I always pick up a few to try and if they are good we go back to get more. But the OG chocolate chip always has me coming back for more. To say I am obsessed is an understatement.

Unfortunately this will be the last time I order from Chip. They used to deliver amazing cookies that were crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside. I just got a box delivered and it contained gross EXTREMELY undercooked cookies. Im suspicious that an employee is rushing the process. I have been coming to Chip for years now and it has been one of my favorite dessert places in Salt Lake, however I was incredibly disappointed to find that none of their employees were wearing masks and only half the staff wearing gloves. It is crucial to have masks and gloves worn, especially when dealing with food/beverage. Since Salt Lake County has one of the highest rates of increasing COVID cases, there should be no excuses for not wearing masks and gloves. I would hope this would get fixed immediately.

Chip cookies has a very great cookie. Not just the chocolate chip but the other variety of cookies they promote. My favorite one was the blue chocolate chip. Just because it was for a great cause for autism and how purchasing a blue cookie would help kids and adults with autism. I highly recommend everyone to go just try one cookie they are very delicious and addicting. The staff is always so helpful and they always make sure the cookies are done and baked with love!!!

PLEASE DO NOT SHOP HERE. Employees are paid miserably. Many have not even been given proper employment forms, and their employer does not deduct taxes correctly. Kids under 16 working 4+ hours on school nights (illegal). Promised raises never come. Poor employees were finally given a microwave to heat their lunches as an amazing benefit. Tips are paid under the table to avoid taxes on their end, with many not even being paid at all. If any employees bring up these concerns they are fired. All employees who still work there are afraid to mention anything contrary because of this. Sarah and Sean (the owners) are terrible individuals who do not value the people who run their stores. They dont even know bakers names who have worked there for years!!! Please shop elsewhere. Support morally straight local business.

Their cookies are great. Their customer service and cleanliness are not. After 2-3 bad customer experiences plus almost every time we go into their downtown SLC store, the store is so dirty, the employees are dirty and touch everything without gloves on. I want to like them and to keep going but after so many times like this, I just cant.

I’m a big fan of Chip cookies-They are absolutely delicious and a fun treat. However, when I went to Chip last week not one of the employees was wearing a mask, which puts the customers, the employees and their families at risk. I cannot comfortably support Chip anymore, knowing they are not putting safety first.

I ordered one chip and one cookie of the month, which for November had Toffee in it, so two cookies in total. The guy charged me for two cookies and went and got a box and put 4 cookies. I just thought that he was being nice by giving me extra cookies. I confirmed with my receipt that I was only charged the $6.00 for the two cookies before I threw the receipt away.Now is the part where Im actually upset with. I get home only to discover that the guy ignored my request for a toffee cookie completely. I know he heard me because he talked about toffee and how excited I was to finally get one before they moved onto next months cookie. I now will never get the opportunity to try the toffee cookie, and its literally the only reason I went in the first place. This event took place around 1:00 pm on Fri, Nov 29th. Im disturbed that the employee clearly doesnt care as he charged me for two cookies but gave me 4 and also the wrong cookies.

They dont even deserve 1 star. I never recieved my order through door dash, so I called the store and they said that they are sorry and they are going to put in another order and have it sent right away. Well, the door dash driver calls me and says there was no order for me. I call chip back speak to the manager and he says he doesnt know what my order is because the system cleared my order. I express how frustrating this is and I feel some kind of compensation should be give and he said well Im sorry all I can do is refund the delivery fee..... Mind you I put my order in at 1230 in the day to have them delivered at 730pm. I asked for the contact information for who ever was over him and he says that would be the owner and he cant give that information out. The manager kept disregarding my concerns and made no attempt to take accountability for the situation. Chip has gone down hill! I will continue to use crumble where they appreciate their customers and take care of them.

Im impressed by the quality of the cookies. You could make 3 cookies out of the one.

Literally the best chocolate chip cookies you will ever have. Everyone is always so nice and the store and the delivery workers are awesome! Warm gooey cookies at their finest... plus you can order milk with them. And did I mention you can even buy the dough so you can have warm cookies any time you want them?? What more do you want!?
