So good! Lots of options and not too pricy. And the best part is I didn’t feel gross after because everything is plant based. I’m glad to have a place where I can go for a vegan treat. I got a hot chocolate cinnamon roll and my husband got the Elvis cookie dough. Both were very sweet- we will probably just split one next time. But very good!
I had such a fun experience with my family at Cinnaholic today! The cinnamon rolls were fresh out of the oven and we all dug in so fast, I forgot to take a picture until I was halfway done! I enjoyed the Old School with vanilla frosting and fresh raspberries. It was delicious. Vegan or not, you will enjoy the treats at Cinnaholic. The staff was kind and friendly and we received our order quickly too!
While I did enjoy the customization of Cinnamon rolls, it seems to come at a cost of fresh rolls. The Cinnamon rolls tasted like they came from a cardboard box/grocery store bought in the freezer section. Service was good and the shop was clean. Warning, they can put quite a bit of icing on top. Some may or may not like that.
First cinnamon roll was completely dough in the middle still, they kindly replaced it second one was better cooked but, the roll itself was not even good enough I could finish it. Trying another product the cookie dough was graining and dry I couldnt finish that either.Anytime you have to douse a cinnamon roll in icying its clearly not a good cinnamon roll.
Omg. Where to start. These are simply the best cinnamon rolls ever. So gooey, soft, pillowy, warm, cinnamony, omg. I could go on forever. I always just get the classic roll cuz its so perfect I cant imagine adding any toppings! Also love how they encourage you to bring your own containers and even give a discount if you do. Would be great if they had some plates for people dining in that dont bring their own, instead of everything being served in throwaway containers. One other suggedtion is have would be to offer coffee (right now they just have iced). The cinnamon rolls would taste so good with a great cup of locally roasted coffee, would love if they add that! But those are just finer points to make an already great experience even better, I love cinnaholic! Also the staff is always so nice when I come in. :)
Discovered this near Pacific Beach in San Diego and loved it. Now visiting this one and it’s just as good. $4.75 bass price and goes up based on toppings, but worth the money and big enough to share. Friendly service and because it’s all vegan, it’s only about half the calories of other places (I’m not vegan and I love these)
Cinnaholic is a perfect name for this place, because it’s just like how alcoholics always settle for crappy alcohol. I grew up loooooving cinnamon rolls so I was super excited when I heard about this place but I was super disappointed. There’s barely any cinnamon flavor in their cinnamon rolls, and they drown it in flavorless nasty frosting (see photo below for how much frosting was leftover after). I am not kidding when I say eating here made me vomit shortly thereafter. I definitely do not recommend this place unfortunately. You’re better off buying pre-made store rolls.
I had the Irish cream and coffee cinnamon roll which is seasonal. The roll was really delicious; you’d never guess it was vegan. I probably would get an original roll next time just because I like simpler foods. But the service was good, they have lots of menu options, and they encourage you to bring containers and utensils.
I went in Sunday from West Jordan, an hour and half before they closed, was told they were out of cinnamon rolls. Thats like a coffee house running out of coffee, or pizza place running out of pizza. Maybe they should only be open when they are baking. Anyway because I had a voucher I had to go back. Thankfully they were stocked, but the same person was there working. Originally I thought the attitude of the worker was because she had to relay bad news, but I got the same attitude. She made me feel like I was putting her out by being a customer and purchasing items. What happened to energetic, outgoing customer service? Food was warm and tasted good.
New favorite place on earth. We got the cookie monster and the strawberry shortcake and they were both DIVINE. They prepare the cinnamon rolls right there so even though I had an hour commute home, they were spectacular and fresh. Lauren, the manager helped us and was hilarious and very helpful. They even have a student discount on Tuesdays for a $2 cinnamon roll! Definitely going back this place is AMAZING if you have a sweet tooth.
Stopped in to try out this place, as I do enjoy cinnamon rolls. For a vegan bakery I would easily say its miles ahead of any take and bake cinnamon roll. I can easily say its up there with any other big chain, but so is the pricing. The rolls werent hot enough to create a pool of icing as my preference is, is my only reservation. The toppings are ok, but really I would stick with the Original and be just fine while spending half as much.
My partner and I were absolutely thrilled to find out about an all plant based cinnamon roll shop! We try to go every weekend, despite the terrible customer service. We are never greeted at the door, and always feel we are inconveniencing the employees by ordering. The cinnamon rolls never disappoint! But maybe a mandatory staff meeting about customer service wouldn’t hurt. We have gone three times now and the shop has been closed. A sign on the door would be appreciated as to when you’ll actually be open since we can’t trust your listed hours.Thank you,
Had a pretty good experience with the food here. It came out hot, fresh and delicious. Staff seemed to be a little confused, but Ill attribute that to having a bad day.All in all, a great place for custom made cinnamon buns, loaded with tons of different glazes, toppings and fruits. Theres some pre-made you can check out to get some good ideas! Definitely check out The Ute!
The service was great, loved the aesthetic and the idea, especially the fact that you can build your own. I got the creme brûlée seasonal cinnamon roll with strawberry jam, crumbled brown sugar, and slivered almonds. It was to die for! It was a perfect little date spot.
I love Cinnaholic! I recently went vegan and had really been missing some of the sweets I used to have. Their cinnamon rolls are excellent, I have liked every one Ive tried! I bought some for my coworkers and everyone loved them! I definitely will be a repeat customer here for a long time :)
I would have given the cinnamon roll a 5. However, the coffee was not ready and I didn’t get it until my cinnamon roll was almost eaten.Used bathroom. Had to ask for toilet paper. The bathroom was as dirty as a truck stop. Horrible.
When I stopped in they were actually out of everything I wanted. The employee gave me other options and filled in with missing items. I also ordered baby buns and although the menu shows frosting comes with it and I asked for it, I was told no. I would only give it 3 stars but the flavors were amazing.
Great cinnamon rolls for the most part. We ordered 3 and one was still a little doughy. The frosting has SO much sugar that I couldnt really taste the cinnamon roll. I tried but the frosting over powers the cinnamon. Ill order plain next time that I go. (If I go)They do taste vegan and I prefer my cinnamon rolls to have dairy and eggs. I will suggest it to my vegan friends. I would make it a regular weekly buy if I could taste the cinnamon.
Cinnaholic has amazing cinnamon rolls. Ive met the owners a couple times and theyre so nice and sweet. Ive been coming here since it opened. Recently I had an encounter with a not so pleasant worker and reached out to Cinnaholics Customer Care Manager, they were incredibly responsive and attentive to my concerns for the way my friends and I were treated. Took care of the problem immediately.
Wonderful service and clean and friendly environment!! It was fast and easy to order and get food! It was my husbands first time and he loved it!!
Thought the idea of this place was really creative! Generally a good experience. I was a little disappointed my “Oreo cookie” topping (as advertised) was some off brand cookie and it wasn’t very good.. but otherwise we had a great experience.
This place is amazing! Opening day was so good I had to go back the next day... and the next. There are so many frosting and topping options, its so hard to choose! All of the staff have been so nice and knowledgeable. I love how the rolls are hot out of the oven and everything just melts on top. Its so great having another vegan restaurant in town!
I fully support and am very excited that more 100% vegan friendly shops are opening. However I found this place to be a tad... dry? I bought the 3 mini buns in a package and it was almost 6 dollars. Seemed a bit steep, especially for the quality that I had. But as I said I am willing to pay more for vegan plant based food. I was impressed with the frosting and the girl that rang us up was very nice. Maybe I just got a old batch, but overall I was displeased with the actual cinnamon rolls.
Absolutely love how everything is vegan!! Honestly just a plain roll with no icing is perfect for me, but they have awesome customization options. Plus vegan cookie dough.... delicious!
Very tasty product from this small chain. Found by accident as I was looking for a parking spot near Starbucks in their 4th South location. When I saw Cinnaholic I didnt know what it was, but decided to check it out. Was they are is a vegan place that has excellent cinnamon muffins and things. Even if you order coffee, almond milk is provided for that.Full disclosure: Im not a vegan, not even a vegetarian. But this was great stuff. I would certainly recommend this for anyone with a sweet craving. An I left with the knowledge that I didnt eat anything bad for me.
My boyfriend and I were so excited to try the cinnamon rolls.. Pretty upset we spent $13 and had to just throw them away. After taking one bite both rolls were completely raw / doughy inside. Edit: I should have specified we took our order to go. Id stay in and eat them and Insure they’re fully cooked.
If you love sweet stuff, youll most likely love this place, because its super sweet! Ive been here twice and both experiences have been good. My only recommendation is; look into getting setup to serve gourmet coffees.
Cinnaholic is a downton addition catering to the vegan-friendly, but by no means limited to those on a strictly plant-based diet; the buns here are fresh, warm, generously sized, and absolutely drowned in a rich, sweet glaze. If traditional cinnamon buns don’t do it for you, worry not: Cinnaholic is home to many speciality buns and will even allow you to pick your own toppings for whatever combination your little heart might desire. They are a little pricey, but for those who have had quality vegan fare, this is pretty par for the course. Make sure to watch for discount-price days, which they have regularly, and give them a try!
Good Cinnamon rolls but they close unexpectedly and wont come to door. Impossible to plan a trip there. Its honestly roulette of you want to go, you never know when theyll actually be open.
Absolutely decadent. Imagine cinnamon rolls for dessert. Their brownies and cookies are the best in town, too. Its all vegan, but your omnivorous friends wont know if you dont tell them.
Amazing cinnamon buns! The creme brulee one is to die for, especially when its warm. Yum! I highly recommend this place!
Amazing cinnamon rolls! Im actually impressed for once with both the quality of food and the customer service being top notch. To be able to get a warm cinnamon roll with fresh sliced strawberries on top fills this angry man with joy and I will definitely be back! Id recommend this place to anyone.
Interesting and varied selection of cinnamon roll icing available. The roll itself was okay, but in my opinion truly great cinnamon rolls have to be made with butter. Ambiance was good.
Everyone there was extremely nice. This isn’t to fair because I have never been a huge frosting person but it was way to rich for my man and myself. Next time I am just going to get a plain cinnamon roll! It was also kinda pricey but being a vegan I completely understand as to why it would be :) most definitely going to visit in the future.
Great cinnamon roll options for frosting and toppings.Wish every cinnamon roll had the option of being heated.Tip: Went multiple times and the cinnamon rolls were not made consistently every time, so remember who made it if you get one you really like!
I was amazed at these guys opening day! Fast service, totally busted butt. Delicious food. The owner/manager was greeting everyone at the door. Great service. Best cinnamon roll Ive ever had in my life!
I rolled up into this delicious shop for some great satisfying sweet food. This place gives you a vast amount of choices to cover your buns. You want it topped with fruit? They got it. You want it covered in chocolate, cookie dough, marshmallow, theyve got it. The choices seem near endless. Nothing can be sweeter than having a warm delicious bun in your mouth. Great service from the lady working behind the counter (didnt get her name but red hair). They treat you good and drop it like its hot, like their buns (cinnamon rolls). Cinnaholics is great name because it is super addicting at its cheap prices. All this and more Im sure, its just how they roll.
Soft, warm, tasty and indulging chocolate Irish coffee and Cream Roll, cold weather calls for a nice Cinnamon Roll, they fulfill your expectations, service was really good #cinnaholic
This place is GREAT! My weakness is cinnamon rolls, and this place exceeded my expectations. Their cinnamon is perfect, and their rolls are so buttery and fresh. I cant believe its all vegan! Im thrilled! I got the cookie monster, and the cookie dough was delicious, but Im going to ask them to put less icing on it next time I go. They put a whipped cream cheese icing on it that was amazing, but their was way too much on it. They also have other flavors of icing and different toppings that you can put on your roll. My sister got the Twix roll and I highly recommend whatever icing was on that one!
I loved this place, but then I started to eat vegan. I wandered in one day and saw that everything there is vegan! Life changed. So incredibly delicious. Go here.
I love this place! Im not even vegan & this place is amazing I cant wait to take my sister that is vegan here. I couldnt decide what to get so Melanie helped me find the best mixture of everything for me and was very nice about it not pushy or upset that I was taking forever. I will definitely be back a lot so I can try every flavor & topping cinnamon rolls are a guilty pleasure of mine, now they dont have to be as guilty & more pleasurable. I will be back soon to have Melanies buns put in my mouth again! 💖
Looked super delicious. Opens very late if you want cinnamon rolls for breakfast..Also the ones my friends and I got were still raw.. the toppings are still a thumbs up and I think if they bake it long enough the rolls are worth waiting for.
The different types of cinnamon rolls will blow your mind! An added bonus is that EVERYTHING here is VEGAN! The rolls are great, but the frosting was not my favorite. Everything else was ideal.
Delicious. Had them delivered. One less star for styrofoam packaging. As a vegan shop, Im surprised they didnt have a paper-based container.Reply to owner:That makes sense! Thanks for your reply. Bummer that there arent local compostable packages, but of course thats not your responsibility.
Loved this place . I went in thinking that might be a tad too sweet but they were just the right about . We got one of each of the seasonal ones and the topping were really well balanced . Definitely will be back again !
Placed an order with them through DoorDash. When my order finally got to me; one of the cinnamon rolls was made incorrectly. When I got a hold of DoorDash they told me that I would have To get a hold of Cinnaholic about the problem. Called four different times someone had picked up didn’t say anything and then immediately hung up.Great customer service
Cant believe i just found this place! The vegan options in SLC are pretty outstanding and this place just scooted to the top of my list. Awesome combos ...berries on a cinnamon roll?? Just amazing. Give it a try. These are the bomb🔥
Not open during the hours advertised. EDIT: In their response to this review, Cinnaholic claims they updated their hours on social media. Yes, they updated the hours on social media AFTER I wrote this review. Social media posts are time stamped! They were already closed at 5:30pm, and they updated social media at 7:00pm. Liar, liar, pants on fire.
Really yummy topping options! I couldnt tell if the cinnamon roll itself was great, but everything that was put on it was!
I mean, create your own combo’s of cinnamon rolls. Need there be more?! My favorite so far is birthday cake icing with raspberries on top. The staff has been friendly every time and the establishment is very clean!
Yum. I like the choc. chip cookie 🍪 & cinnamon rolls (I liked it with the caramel frosting I got). Brownie is good too- a hint of coffee? I dont know- its 💪 strong though- but I still like it 😉! 😉Fun place. You get to choose what you want, how you want it - think of like Cold Stone, i.e., you choose the roll, the frosting flavor you want & the topping(s), more dough ($) for more though (toppings/frosting flavors)! Im picky & Id say it is worth the calorie splurge if you are treating yourself anyway. I sometimes use my calories wisely, Id only get something really worth spending the calories on & your m💰ney, honey! 💘, ✌, ☺, 😂Enjoy your lives while youre at it!Live on-Life on!
I ordered one of the sample options, lemon blueberry. It was good, but more expensive than I expected. Since I am not a vegan, it wasnt worth the extra cost. The person that helped me was friendly and provided good service.
When I stopped by to smell the cinnamon rolls and told the person at the counter that I was just smelling because I’m gluten intolerant, they informed me that these cinnamon rolls are gluten free! I was so surprised, because gluten free goodies are almost impossible to come by... but there were no claims of gluten free on the signage. I’m glad I didn’t believe them— the staff clearly don’t know anything about the product they are selling :(
This is one of the most delicious cinnamon rolls I had ever tried, they have so many varieties that is so hard to decide, I tried the Hot Cocoa Dream Roll and was really good.
Really yummy cinnamon roll bliss. I had the creme brûlée’s roll and it was perfection.
Service was great, payment easy and I was happy to hear about their rewards program. Ive had several great cinnamon rolls from here. 4 stars because this last time our cinnamon roll tasted a bit off. There was a distinct taste like the dentists office, very disconcerting. This experience is the outlier though.
I had high hopes for the spot. I was sorely disappointed. I was taken aback by the employee who was wearing a dirty broncos shirt and jeans. I noticed that he had given me a ripped bag as I got home and had stacked the rolls straight up so that they had fallen over. Once I finally ate them they had no real flavor except for sugar. For almost 11 dollars for 2 cinnamon rolls I expected a lot more. Dont waste your money coming here.
Absolutely incredible! I tried a roll with coffee frosting/choco sauce & the pumpkin pie spice roll, they were beyond delicious & I cant wait to try all the other flavor combos! Bonus that they serve Cafe Ibis coffee & have those yummy creamers! (French Vanilla would be a welcome addition to the creamers though) I also wish they were open earlier so I could grab a roll on my way to work.
The best cinnamon rolls Ive ever had and vegan to boot. The staff is always helpful. The prices are a little steep but absolutely worth the cost.
This place is so good and I hope everyone around Salt Lake realizes it. I love that there are more vegan bakeries and eateries popping up in Utah, even my parents who are meat eaters loved it. I’m going to keep coming back to try all the options, which there are a lot to choose from.
Awesome cinnamon rolls! We got the seasonal creme brûlée roll and it was so good!
AMAZING cinnamon rolls. I honestly didnt even know they were vegan until I had already consumed one and I couldnt even tell. If you are hesitant about them being vegan, dont be. You will not notice. Really great cinnamon rolls and delicious icing/frosting flavors. 10/10
Dear Christ this place was good. I wish I had a picture of my cinnamon roll but I inhaled it so fast that I forgot. 😂 Totally worth it.
Super clean, friendly staff who worked really hard to be organized and efficient on opening day with a line OUT THE DOOR! Cinnamon roll was wonderful. I got the amaretto frosting with their house made pie crumble. I can’t wait to go back!!
Absolutely delicious. I had the caramel apple cider cinnamon roll and it was the best cinnamon roll I have ever had.(Sorry Grandma)The staff was very friendly. It was busy when we were there and they gave us some water while we waited.I want to recommend this place to everyone I know.
The staff was very kind and knowledgeable. I enjoyed the idea of building your own cinnamon roll toppings, so as to give options for everyone. I didnt give five stars just due to some recipe improvements I feel could be made.
Oh my gosh these are amazing! being a vegan teenager its hard to find things like this but dangggg. Lol im addicted to these now.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very clean, plenty of off street parking, very fast service.Im scared to look up the calorie count on these. Share one with a friend and feel less guilty for eating only half.
These cinnamon rolls are so flame 👩🏽🍳😘(chef kiss)
Excellent rolls, youll leave wanting to come back and try more of their fantastic frosting flavors and topping combinations. Full stop. You should go and get one right now. They are a little pricey at ~$5-6 a roll (depending on how you get it done) but they are large rolls and frosting and toppings are not skimped on.
The service was friendly and I liked the consistency of the frosting. But these rolls are lighter on the cinnamon and heavy on the bread, which isn’t my preference. Also, I ordered cream cheese frosting but it tasted a lot like strawberry, and there was some strawberry topping smeared on the outside of the box, so maybe some got mixed in accidentally? Was disappointed. Probably won’t be back.
The cinnamon rolls here are fantastic! This was my first time there but Im definitely going back.
These cinnamon rolls are sooo good! And a good size.
I actually worked here for a bit and as another employee has already reviewed, this place has disgusting practices. This is a vegan place and some of the employees bring non-vegan items to the back, the place is not cleaned at all between batches and the owner doesnt know how to make good cinnamon rolls. Additionally the owner likes to act all grandiose yet felt the need to short all of us employees on our tips and checks.
Went and picked up some cinnamon rolls to bring home. Got home and I couldnt quite pin down a sour smell. Opened my cinnamon roll with cream cheese frosting and the smell hit me. The cream cheese in the frosting had obviously gone sour. I called the store to let them know, and although the girl on the phone was nice, she didnt offer a refund or replacement.
I love that you can customize the cinnamon rolls and that they are made fresh!
So delicious! Almost too many options, if thats at all possible LOL
