Superb espresso and food! Your coffeehouse was one of the spots I like to visit here in our space. Its an incredible spot to spend time with companions or examine any business here. Their staff was exceptionally kind and accommodating if at any time you have any worries. The space was open and clean. Not at all like other bistros which are extremely packed and loud. I energetically prescribe this to all!

7-5-21:Read about the coffee and was excited to try a pour over!I tried the Guatemala coffee and the house oatmeal. Both were great. The oatmeal had steel cut oats which tasted like the kind you get at Starbucks or Peets Coffee. Except Hobs comes with chocolate chips 😀. The sweet oats paired well with coffee ☕!Great service all around. The woman recommended the coffee based on what I like and was working very hard and efficient by herself while a line was forming. Very admirable!

Very personal experience the barista treated me like we were bestfriends. The coffee is to die for and the pastries and oatmeal were amazing. Vegan options are actually pretty great. Indoor and Outdoor dining. Non Gendered restroom is for customers only.

The lattes here in this café is one of my top choices! Their barista is truly stunning when making espresso, and the administrations are first class. These folks truly have the best assistance and top notch espresso that you can obtain at a decent cost. I will definitely prescribe this shop to each and every individual who loves espresso! I adore the unions as well. Theyre friendly, and I dont see them often, but they remember my husband and me. Its a fantastic neighborhood coffee shop.

Bean bar is a place that you must stop if you are in San Diego its a fabulous Cafe and weve been going here for years. Quality is one of the things that comes to mind. The staff is super friendly and helpful and there are many options to choose from here.

Hob Coffee has a great environment to chill and study too! The coffee tasted great and its prices are very fair. I appreciate the barista being very nice and welcoming since it was my first time going. Also the seating had this adorable sign of a Toon Link! ☕

Nice little cafe in East Village. Located in a not crowded area. Was easily able to get a table for myself lunch time on a weekday. Wide open feel with a ton of natural light. Their cold brew was smooth and the avocado toast hit the spot. Typical pricing for a modern coffee shop ($3 for a shot). Definitely a nice place to relax and post up to do some work.

We had a very good and really delicious breakfast. The cappuccino, the best coffee in town, was even better.

Great coffee with a lot of attention to detail in the roast and flavors in the coffee. They definitely know what they are doing and are one of two of the best place for coffee Ive found yet in San Diego.Atmosphere was relaxed and the staff friendly as I chatted and asked questions about their coffee roasters and business.I also recommend the cheddar bacon biscuit.

Best coffee we had in a 3 week trip from Oz. Obvious care taken, weighs each grind, electric tamp. Great service. Worth a visit for any Aussie who thinks you cant get a good Australian coffee in the US.

They have a really good fig jam for toast, try that. The drip coffee was a bit sour but not so bad. Chill spot and nice staff, recommended.

Good coffee, but felt ripped off when I was told they couldnt put less ice in my cup for some made up reason. I want less ice because I want more coffee and not two sips worth. They clearly dont want you to get your moneys worth. Had that not occurred I would have happily gave them 5 stars.

Very attractive decor, nice staff. 4 stars because they can only email receipts (which may not be convenient if traveling on business), and because they don’t offer caramel or low/no-fat milk options. I like vanilla flavoring, and I’ve enjoyed coconut milk... but seems like “the best coffee shop” should have a few more options.

Very cool coffee shop. Located at the bottom of a nice building, and across the street from a library. What really drew me in was the number of Bean Bar items they sell. I seriously considered buying a few things before I came to my senses. I actually came to Bean Bar to get a cold brew before walking somewhere else for a bagel. The Cold Brew is quiet good, but not on my list of top 10 places to go to. While its a smooth, I dont think its strong enough. I value a great cup of cold brew. My go to drink no matter where I go.Barista was friendly. Got our drinks ready within minutes and we were on our way. Plenty of seating, with a bar option along the windows.

Decent place. Cozy, open, bright, friendly. Good prices. Coffee was alright. Better than many of the places I went while in San Diego, but it was barely lukewarm. I would have liked quite a bit more heat. Coffee of choice was a meil this time, they used generic honey and it was a bit sweeter than I like but I will say that I like less sweet than typical. Overall it was a nice place and tons of coffee extras for purchase. Mugs, beans, makers, etc.

We were exploring the gaslamp area and were looking for a place to have coffee. This was recommended to us by a local and I must agree that it had some of the best coffee I have had.I pass this recommendation on to those looking for coffee.

Quality beverages at more-than-reasonable prices, prepared quickly by friendly and attentive employees. Staff was legitimately personable and engaging - not just going through the motions - as well as well-versed in the establishments offerings. The barista had no problem preparing an off-menu order, nailing every nuance on the first try. Ten out of ten in all regards; will most definitely visit on a regular basis from here on out.

I requested Non-Fat Milk to be added to my coffee and they insisted on adding cream instead.I asked for powdered cinnamon and I was told they dont have it, as I left the shop, I suggested they should have cinnamon next time and instead of at least granting a consideration, I was told they would definitely not have it!It seems no interest in addressing clients wishes. It will be difficult for me to visit a second time, although it Inca the nearest coffee shop to my office.

Leaving the new Central Library downtown, I ran across this cute coffeeshop!Great to have all the great coffee popping up around town. In addition to the standard lattes and such, theyve got all the trendy coffee drinks - like cold-brew and pour-overs. Nice space, lots of light - theyre also looking into outdoor seating. Friendly service. I will return!

Lattes were cold and watered down. We ordered oatmeal that was cold and uncooked, the avocado toast we ordered was very hard. When my friend went back to ask if they could warm up his oatmeal they told him that they could steam more milk but it would be the same temperature. Disappointing as the reviews were really good.

Super friendly barista, coffee was fantastic and the shop is quaint and cozy. If youre looking for a nice relaxing coffee shop to hang out in or to just get a basic cup of coffee this place is highly recommended.

This should be your only stop for coffee downtown. Their drop coffee is the best coffee I’ve ever had. I also love their apricot scone. I’ve been coming here multiple times a week fo over a year and highly recommend it!

Amazing vibe, love the brewing methods. Really heavy cappuccino that turned out to be more like a latte. Extremely acidic, but good flavor under the little bit of foam there was.

Urban and hip decor. Very innovative. Comfy seating options with a lounge type setting in the corner. Great vanilla latte and pastries (quiches, croissants, bearclaws, muffins, etc). In what looks to be a very congested area though and not really accessible unless walking by randomly.

Just discovered this place recently, and its my after work-meet-my- wife place. They are always very friendly, and helped my wife with a taste of something new, that she ended up liking. The tables are big, and I can imagine tucking in here to have coffee and paying bills online.

Went this morning to try out the newest coffee shop and it was awful!!! Please save yourself an hour of aggravation and go anywhere but here. They dont roast their own beans, so they are just a coffee shop which would be fine, but when my husband and I ordered 2 lattes it took 30+ minutes!!! And they were wrong- they were: small instead of medium and made with almond milk instead of soy. Also, we ordered their toast with ricotta which would have been good, but the bread was soggy :( total disappointment!!
