An awesome spot for coffee, tea and food. Great part of OB to really take in the sights, beach and overall vibe. The coffee was solid and the food was filling. Grab a drink in the early morning before huge crowds come in and enjoy it on the beach!

This place is just great. Has a really good vibe and the food/drinks are excellent.

The coffee and food are so good I would give 5 stars, but unfortunately I give only 1 star because of the staff working here. The lady who first helped us was the sweetest. However the two boys who were working on drinks had a horrible attitude. I would spend your money elsewhere, not worth the awful attitudes.

They have a lot a new faces and I love it! The vibe is so much better. The owner is a darling lady who personally took care of me after a mistake on my order. Every experience since has been a delicious delightful one.

Stopped by to grab a smoothie for my daughter at 1:50. Was denied service because they were “closing”. I get that it’s annoying to be making orders so close to closing time, but that’s not how a business should run (I manage a similar business, we close at 10pm and take orders until 10pm). We have patronized this place during our visits to OB for years. Food is serviceable, but after this, I’m not sure it’s worth it. Either change your hours or honor the posted hours. Disappointing.

Do not go here. Food was bland and one of workers who had long, curly hair (Zach or zeth?) was incredibly rude after my boyfriend asked for utensils and then asked for hot sauce. He said “if you could ask for both at same time, that would be great.” Maybe have utensils ready to go once you serve the food.

Services super slow. Several things on the menu are not actually served at the restaurant. Theyll probably forget your order and then you have to go chase it down cuz nobody behind the counter really seems to care. Plenty of other good places to eat that serve your food on time. And dont forget your order.

The staff may be just having a day but none o they welcomed me and were not friendly. The coffee was sugar with milk and a little coffee. I wanted to like this supper cute Cafe but my first experience turned me off completely. I got a late and it was $8 without tip, which isnt a big deal if it actually tasted like a late.

2 stars because the coffee was decent but the service was straight up awful.. Some how it took OVER 30 mins for two drinks to be made, yet several people in line behind us got their drinks within minutes of walking through the door? Truly unacceptable. I know where Im NOT going to get coffee when I come back into town.....

Food was terrific!! I had the Purple Haze decaffeinated and the Huevos Ranchoes. We really had no complaints about this place. There was a bit of a wait but to be fair they are a fairly busy restaurant so we understood. I will also say the staff was super nice!We will be back soon! !

Love the coffee and tea selection here. Coffee order was perfect. Cute place. Im just a little disappointed that today I ordered the Rockin Turkey wrap and it did not come with bacon or tomatoes like it said it would. No fresh fruit either. Its fine if they were out of these ingredients at the time, but they shouldve said that given the slightly high price of the wrap.

Cozy, warm vibes. Friendly, efficient staff. Neighborhood coffee shop with full on breakfast menu. Gluten free bagels with avo or flavored cream cheeses, eggs how you like it. Across from public beach parking lot & life saving station a great place to start the day

The chili mocha coffee was hands down one of the best versions of this recipe Ive had. However, I wasnt too pleased with my breakfast burrito. It was kind of bland until I loaded it with salsa, it was a bit soggy, and the bacon didnt seem to be cooked all the way. I only ate a few bites from it.. My husband had the Nova and said it wasnt bad, the bagel was great.

This place is absolutely delicious! My husband and I came in from Las Vegas for a getaway and we wanted something quick but delicious...I found this place on Google Maps. We stopped by and we ordered the chicken chipotle wrap, let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious! (yes I am using that word again). On the day we left home we stopped by one more time before we left and I had to order one to go. If only you had a location in Las Vegas :(

Ok place to eat....service was ok.....guy who took order said hed bring it out....lady who cooked it just yelled my name and walked back to kitchen...took me a moment.....it shows 1$ but was almost the cost of breakfast republic.....which was much better.

My order was very simple but the cook messed it up twice and I was too hungry to return it again. It was expensive too. At least the place was clean.

Pretty disappointed with our experience here. Me and my husband ordered omelets with no meat and ended up getting meat. (Not fun eating meat when you haven’t for years). We brought it back and told them. After waiting fifteen minutes for replacement food and getting back home both the orders were wrong again. Extremely disappointed for spending $45 on this breakfast and still having the wrong items after two trips there.We won’t be coming back here after this experience which is a bummer since we live only a few doors down.

Love this place! Has a great view of the OB pier and ocean while you dine in some great eats! The food comes out quick and tastes great! I drive out to OB just to eat here.

Went there twice for takeout and dine in- service is rude- its probably the times in Cali and hopefully they grow out of if since why work. Took 1/2 an hour and Im the only one in there for 5 coffees for takeout

The veggie sunrise on everything bagel is what is prompting me to give this a five star review. As far as local breakfast joints go, this is tough to beat. Top 5 best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had.

Nice little tasty cafe. Busy, but delish. Order first at the counter. then find a place to sit . We waited for someone to come greet and seat us since we werent sure. Lol. Breakfast burritos and latte are delish. 2 breakfast items and 2 lattes, $29. Service is quick and friendly once you get to the counter. Notice- picture is HALF a burrito. Comes with salsa and sour cream.

Took forever to get the COLD breakfast. Out of many bagels. Terrible!!

I was looking for something quick. Walked into newbreak and fell in love. Was greeted by a young lady working there asking if she could help me find anything. They have a tea shop in the cafe too! I looked at a menu and ordered the blt with avocado. Amazing! I also ordered an iced coffee with coconut. Man was it good! Very cute cafe with awesome music. Highly recommend this place! Plus its directly across from tree public parking steps from the beach!

Horribly rude customer service. I was with three of my friends, and when we all met outside after ordering, we all had separate terrible experiences with the lady with the mohawk. The food was mediocre and didnt come close to making up for her terrible demeanor. The other girl working with her was nice and seemed like she was almost trying to make up for her colleagues bitterness. Never going back there again.

Should be nice place except customer service is not due to owner why charge to change phones? And she should think about helping homeless it shows a lot about who you are as a business owner

Nice people, great coffee and food!

I love this place if I want to get a quick sandwich or wrap. The atmosphere inside is nice. The staff is always helpful and friendly when it comes to choosing a meal. Their desserts and sweets are good. Wish they were dog friendly. Not everyone wants to leave their dog outside. Other than that great place.

The coffee here is perfect. Like it strong, dark and hot. Not to loud. Especially in the morning when i need my 16 oz cup before waking up. The owners are great and sweet. So is the staff. Love the breakfast snack. Very reasonable. Cool people hang out here. Make me feel cool

I only stopped in for a second and got a couple of pastries, but they were good. The Coffee Selection looked good as well. And the employee was really nice.

This is a great place to get your morning cup of coffee or something to eat for breakfast. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is laid back. I cant complain!

I liked this place! The almond milk latte totally hit the spot. The service was fast and friendly. Decor was awesome. Big spacious area. The only thing was that its popular so it can be hard to get a table.Would definitely recommend.

Was expecting just a quick, nothing special breakfast but I was more than surprised when I got my food. It was delicious and decadent! They have a variety of coffee, drinks and breakfast. From normal eggs to a Greek inspired bagel (which I got) to a platter of unnamed but delicious looking food. Great location, great staff- will definitely come again.

Love this place. There is plenty of good food in OB but we find that we go here every morning for breakfast when were visiting. Coffee is good. Open face begal sandwiches are good. Pastries are good. No complaints at all.

They have almost any kind of café food or beverage you want! I was amazed at how big the menu was. Vegetarian lentil soup was very good! Tuna sandwich was also very good. My salted caramel latte was tasty. The space is nice and open, too. Good for grabbing some food with friends, setting up to do some work by the beach, or just stopping in to get a drink.

Cool place, great for get togethers, meet natives and tourists. Facing the ocean across from the lifeguard tower, steps to shopping and the world famous longest pier on the west coast. Reasonably priced variety of good eats.

This is our favorite spot to go when in San Diego. Everything from the staff to the patrons and even to the atmosphere is super chill, and their coffe is great. I was very surprised at how good the food is the first time i went. It tastes just like good home cooking. Even when there are quite a few people inside the service is always quick, too.

The girl with the Mohawk was rude

This is definitely one of my spots to go to when in OB and Im not looking for alcohol. The dessert options are plenty, you will be able to find almost any coffee dessert youre looking for.I had a really goo turkey wrap, healthy, light and really good wrap. The coffee is a good option. Im really picky about my coffee beans so it may not be #1 on my list but they do make my list.The location is primo! Across the street from the sand and walking distance from the main Newport strip in OB. If you choose to go from coffee to brewery, they are not far from each other.I recommend you check them out if your in the area.

Their coffee is deep and fresh, they have a wide selection of great teas, and their specialty drinks will make your girl happy. The people that frequent this place are down to earth... not your snobby starducks crowd. What could be better than sipping your favorite quality beverage with your love while embracing the majestic sea breeze rolling in through the window?!

Waited 21 minutes for a bagel a cream cheese Togo. No line, hardly anyone at the cafe. Should really let paying and tipping customers know there’s a long wait for a simple order.

I had the club on whole grain. The sandwich is loaded and very tasty! I could have saved the other half but it was too good to leave alone.

A wonderful place for morning coffee with ocean views. Nice local spot. Extensive collection of teas. There is parking along the street and there is a parking lot across from the restaurant. Good for lunch and breakfast or coffee and tea any time.

Delicious food and good coffee. Really fast, on point service. Its a good place to work also. They have some games available for use. Also there is a larger tea selection for drinking and purchase.

This coffee shop in OB is one of my regular stops. It has a good blend of locals and visitors from SD and beyond.15minutes seems like an eternity as the clouds of the weather meander through the OB slide.Good service, excellent food, and a nice cup of joe keep me coming back.They deserve the 5 stars for sure😎.

We ordered two frappes, one latte, and one decaf coffee. We waited at least 10 minutes for the first 3 drinks (not a big deal), we waited another 10 for the decaf coffee and it was terrible, tasted burnt and was actually awful! We would have walked back to complain, but the staff was at best, unfriendly. Sadly would never return.

The food is great. Even with a crowd, service was speedy. The coffee was a bit strong, they replaced it with a hot chocolate for me without any issue. There are a lot of choices for breakfast, so Im looking forward to coming here again during our vacation.

Best breakfast ever, always. Anytime we are in San Diego, this is our everyday breakfast place. The food is great and the atmosphere is the best! We are never disappointed!

Service is very very slow, coffee was insipid. To cap it off I almost choked on some plastic string that was in my sandwich!

Great place all around...only issue is they still serve plastic straws! This is just constructive feedback, hopefully they read this and update their policy.

Used to be employed here and I loved the environment. The barista’s were all pretty girls, who were pretty cool to talk to. But I did all the cooking, and I did all I could to implement standards, but let me just say, stick to coffee...
