Lot of different flavors and toppings. We got the premade passion fruit one which was pretty good.

Love all the customization options. I got the strawberry snow. As far as taste goes, it was basically ice cream. I was hoping for a distinguishing characteristic between the two but, came up short. It was also just as sweet as ice cream. The mini mochi topping was great. I would return but, I wouldnt go out of my way.

Good place for a different dessert.Dont fill up cup with only ice cream, you might not have enough place for toppings.Just ask to fill half the cup. Enjoy with variety of toppings for better experience

I need one of these in Salt Lake. Until then I’ll stop by EVERY time I’m in the San Diego area. This place lived up to the hype. There are similar places in Salt Lake but they don’t quite compare to the flavor and texture of Icekimo. They have some preset menu items but you can always alter or add your own toppings. The large might look like it’s too big but trust me, you’ll still leave wanting more.

I have gotten shaved ice here many times and will be back for more in the future. Don’t skip the drizzle! I usually share with someone because even the small size is a really generous portion 😋

I love Iceskimo! So refreshing especially with this crazy hot weather. The flavors are clean & light. The staff tries hard, and succeds, to make your ice dessert exactly the way you want it. The place is clean. Toppings always look fresh. Prices are reasonable. Been going here since it opened.

First time visit. Very nice. Very clean. Customer service was excellent. Also the patrons in the establishment really like the place and were eager to give suggestions as to what flavors were good. Parking is tight and limited, but the desert was worth it.

Great place to get a yummy desert. They offer ice cream, flavored shaved snow and boba teas. Their desert creations are so original and creative. They have outdoor seating that’s perfect during the pandemic.

I came with my brothers because they wanted ice cream. Long story short they got waffles. I was a little let down because I wanted a nutella filled waffle but I didnt want to wait. The woman recommended nutella shaved ice topped with nutella. I swear to buddha its amazing. Will definitely be coming back! No picture because once I tried it I finished it before thinking of taking one

Ive never had Tawainese Shaved Ice until Iceskimo and it was phenomenal. Seriously the best dessert ever (better than ice cream and frozen yogurt).

A good refreshment for a hot day. However, it is over priced for a little cup of shaped ice. With 6 dollars, I wouls rather spend it on something more fulfilling. However, if you have money to waste, then this is a good getaway.

Their “ice cream?” Is very light and fluffy. An interesting concept to be sure.They have blocks of frozen ice that is flavored. When you order that flavor they take the block and shave very thin shaves of ice off of it. Then you are free to add whatever sauces and toppings you want.You pay by the weight, in ounces. Solid dessert spot. They even had a few dairy free options.

Forgot to take a picture, but other reviews have that. The premise of this place is quite interesting. It serves Taiwanese shaved ice, which is something I just learned about. You pick a flavor of ice from their menu, they have a range from fruit flavors to tea and coffee. The ice is shaved in a thickness which gives it a good texture. Then you dress it with whatever toppings you want. At the end you pay for it by weight. Great for a hot summer day.

So yummy. Only 4 stars because they are not using biodegradable plastic spoons. Watched over 15 people use a plastic spoon for 10-20 min then threw it away!! Disgraceful! Bring your own reusable spoon

Wow so good my favorite would be the Strawberry ice. Its so light and and kind of melts in your mouth. This is really unique! Theres nothing like this for many miles. Its not Italian shaved ice, its more fluffy. Every time we are in the area we HAVE to go. Also, there is a kids portion (half of a small) that you can ask for if your child cant finish a small or you dont want to finish theirs.

Iceskimo is such a great idea! Surprised that shaved snow like this isnt more popular. I would prefer this over frozen yogurt. Been here a couple times and love all the flavors and toppings they have. Their little logo is also so adorable! The price for a cup isnt half bad either.

This shaved ice is truly unlike anything else I have tried in the San Diego area. As far as texture, it mimics that of dense ice cream, but it is quite a bit smoother.The original base flavor tastes kind of like vanilla ice cream, but for those who want to go for something a bit different, the black sesame base is more sweet and slightly nutty.Finally, pick any of the gazillion toppings — like cheesecake bites and cookie dough — for a one-of-a-kind experience.

Freaking Awesome! Freaking delicious! It is quite Different from any shaved ice Ive ever had. There are some very unique flavors mixed in to create a very interesting and different dessert. I think this is an excellent idea so little bit on the expensive side so I can in joy it as much as I would like to which is every day sometimes twice A-day even. This is really good stuff.

The kids love this place for desserts. They have different flavors and they are all good. The servers will patiently help you choose if you have a question. Parking is a pain but it is the problem at any eatery on Convoy Blvd in recent years.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! Its the best dessert place to go to after eating ramen, sushi or whatever you had in the area. They have a stamp card that gives you free 5oz when you get 10 stamps. So many flavors and optional toppings to choose from! I will always come back for more and more.

Fun little rolled ice cream shop. Check it out if you are tired of the usual scooped ice cream or sundaes. Lots of alternative style toppings to add as well. You can do your own thing or choose one of their pre built bowls.

Talk about amazing ice cream! I was so thrilled and amazed at the flavor profile that I wanted to go back and get seconds the same day, but you have to watch out for those calories! I would recommend to anyone in the area or out of town visiting!

Good place for shaved ice cream. Its not like your typical shaved ice withe syrup, no these are ice cream and you can add topping like yogurt and they will charge you by the oz. Its cute family friendly. Biggest down fall is the place have VERY little place to sit. You can bring the whole family but only 2-3 will get to sit, unless you got lucky.

I only ever get the sesame shaved ice because it is just so good. The flavour is strong and definitely present without being overpowering. A nice light dessert that is excellent on its own. I usually go light on the condensed milk so it’s more refreshing than sweet and forego toppings to get more shaved ice.

The best shave ice place on the west coast. 10/10 would recommend. I got the passion fruit flavor, best decision of my life. It’s been over a year since I’ve been and long for it every dayupdate: three years have gone by. I do not live in San Diego and I think about this shave ice every night before bed.

The black sesame and lychee flavors here are amazing. Its great if you want a relatively light dessert, but arent in the mood for bingsoo. That said, you can definitely load up on toppings and make it a super rich dessert if thats what youre into. Theres a lot of selection and the prices are pretty fair.

Interesting cross street between dessert and ice, like literally ice. Had the lychee ice which tasted on the spot. Side that you add to it kinda really do it for it. Not to mention you should add condensed milk for the sweetness factor. Initial thoughts that it was just basically flavored ice, which it is, but when combined with toppings reminds me of frozen yogurt but probably better for you? Jury is out and just an assumption since youre eating ice and probably some amount of sugar to flavor the ice. Cool concept. Probably not a regular visit. Pricing was normal. Go with the small. You get a hefty amount of ice unless youre a glutton

This is like a frozen yogurt place, except they have shave ice in lieu of yogurt. You can also choose the toppings, and you pay by weight.I got the black sesame ice, which I guess doesnt have the right flavor for this kind of dessert, but I added a few sugary items and it masks the flavor and kinda balanced it out.

I recommend going to this place when its not busy, mainly because its in a busy area and its really hard to find a parking spot during their busy hours. Their ices are unique, with a great assortment of great flavors and the ability to customize with a whole array of toppings. Highly recommend
