Im not sure what to say......Im sitting here at home, thinking to myself, this has got to be some type of family business, that started with an old mans dream, a small dirt floor shack, and has passed generation to generation.Everyone that Ive dealt with has been knowledgeable and polite. Maybe they dont have all the first hand hands on experience with each and every item they stock, but when the answer cant come off the top of their head, they actually take the time to get the answer, and its not just some warehouse guy opinion.Im time zones away, but nearby a product manufacturer, for products Hardware Source sells. I just dont have the words for how much greater my phone conversation was with the Hardware Source employee, than my walk in face to face with the product manufacturer. The people who represent the manufacturer were oblivious by comparison and of course were only willing to offer biased one sided thoughts. The online chat provided a more personal experience than how I felt leaving the manufacturer, which in my opinion is shameful.I dont know what kind of training goes on at Hardware Source, or perhaps I just so happened to come across only owners or bosses, but they made me feel like a valued customer.Ive got honest to goodness hundreds of hours invested in researching the products I recently purchased.I tried to shop local, Ive compared products, shopped prices, you name it.Out of frustration I just so happened to stumble upon their site.They werent even mentioned by the manufacturer, who in all actuality should be promoting the heck out of this place.Id become familiar enough, you know, know enough to be dangerous, and my initial conversations I brought my challenging A Game, and the responses were all spot on with the functionality of products I was asking about.The prices, well lets just say they were less than half what anyone local, who doesnt have any familiarity or inventory is charging.Yes, there are places claiming no tax, no shipping, and a box of donuts with each purchase.......To be honest, the manufacturer directed me to one online site that had a scam of a physical address, and shipped from the manufacturer, never actually seeing any product.Nope, if you want fast shipping, well packaged, fabulous prices, and customer service, theres no place else to look. Each and every encounter I had, left me feeling that there is tremendous pride in the work done here, even the ability to adjust settings for the website for different conditions is beyond impressive.This store has the formula for what it takes to retain a customer base, in a time where most companies are all about numbers. I dont enjoy feeling like a number, so I will do my best to promote this store, because it deserves way more than the few dollars that Ill occasionally spend here.I avoided saying treats you like family because quite frankly, they treated me better than family, I felt like I was truly a friend of the company. And that meant a lot to me, especially being a first time customer.I hope to some day get back to the west coast, and no matter the reason, I pray to remember to stop in and visit.Thank you very much Hardware Source, you are my first choice for cabinetry and fencing from now on!

My wife bought a century-old 7-ft high cabinet with heavy glass cabinet doors at a local antique store. The movers broke off one of the doors at the hinges. I searched nationwide and found the exact sized cabinet door butt hinge (1.5 x 5/8) at HardwareSource. Nobody else had it. HardwareSource called to confirm a color switch. After about 4 d, the hinges arrived, I replaced the ancient broken hinges, and the fit was perfect.

I am refinishing a 1978 bath vanity. I had extra door pulls from a kitchen remodel and wanted to use the same style. However we have hidden hinges in the kitchen and I was not going to do that much work with refinishing the vanity. I hit up Hardware Source online and was able to determine EXACTLY the type and dimensions for the hinges I needed from their site. (I was at other sites first and became frustrated). I found hinges that would (appear from web photos) come very close to matching the hinges I had so I ordered them up. Hardware Source shipped the SAME day. I thought it was a bit pricey however for ordering in Wednesday they were here on a Saturday. (Oh they are in San Diego and I’m Cape Cod - I don’t think we could be much further away). It was USPS flat rate. Very impressed as the price of shipping was spot on. I ship a lot and use a shipping program with discounts and they charged the discounted price. Bravo. My 34 year old Scandinavian entertainment center had a broken hinge on the left door. I couldnt find the right hinge anywhere, plus I really didnt know what type hinge was right for my needs. HardwareSource did an excellent job. I needed to replace some hinges on my cabinets but needed the exact hinges without having to screw in different holes. The rep told me all I needed was the part that connected to the door and I could use my current connector to cabinet. That allowed me to connect to the cabinet without having to drill new screw holes as the new connectors were different. I have searched high and low for the European hinge I needed to repair my custom corner cabinet. I googled the brand name and your site popped up. I was so excited to think I had found the parts for my old casement window. However, when they arrived the left crank and the right crank were not the same design/shape! Website was clear, allowing me (not a cabinet-maker) to identify the correct replacement hinge for a discontinued Blum hinge. I ordered the bundle just to make sure I had the right mounting plates, even though I still had the old mounting plates. HS called me up to let me know the mounting plates were back-ordered, so I asked him to ship the hinges anyway. They arrived quickly and were the correct hinges. I am very happy with my purchase. The only comment Id offer is that it was not easy to find information about the mounting plate height (definition and significance) and how to measure it. Perhaps an opportunity for improvement. Otherwise, Ill come back to HS for future cabinet hardware needs.

Ordered hinges to replace broken, older, discontinued ones. These looked like they would work and the instructions on the site told me how to measure for the receiver. It worked perfectly. I needed one to replace the broken hinge, and fortunately ordered 4. Turns out I needed to replace both hinges on one door. The other two Ill keep in case another door has a problem. Fit was ideal. Even matched up with the old screw holes.

The proper hinge was sent for our cabinet. The screw holes on the door side fit the old screw hole pattern. The color is as represented on the website. The ordering and delivery exceeded expectation. The only problem I found was in the number of hinges in the order. I expected them to come as a pair, which they did. However, my view of the website didnt seem to distinguish between a single hinge or a pair. The order just said 1. So, to make sure, I didnt want to only order one hinge so I ordered 2. Not to worry. First time ordered from this place. i am happy to find what we need, which is the casement arm and crank. But what surprised me is that they dont come with screws? I have never have to buy screws if anything, they always provided. Also, shipping charge is expensive, most place is free.

The product itself was as advertised and good. I paid for one-day delivery and Hardware Source did present it for one-day delivery. It was not delivered on time by UPS. When you go back to UPS, a buyer is unable to get a refund since paid by Hardware Source. So, the delivery system does not work for us buyers who pay 3 times normal shipping costs for a late delivery.

These are excellent Hinges. It would be a good thing if instructions were provided with the hinges and Restriction clips. However, I was able to download and print the instructions for the Restriction Clips, which were easy to install from the diagram that I printed.
