The store is small but have a lot of stuffs. I was here for DG Jamaican Ginger beer. The owner and his help were so nice. I would recommend this place.
Service is always good and I always find the stuff I need at a great price.
Kame for the KavaThis is indeed a true pacific islander store. Lady was buying turkey tails while I was in for a lb of kava. This place is a treasure.
Space is too small but friendly service...
3 stars for the dry witty humor. 5 stars if you move to bigger store. Fire hazard aisles 🤦
There is a lot more to this amazing little store than meets the eye. If you are an islander, you can find a lot of hard to find ingredients and treats.
Love this store! Unique little shop.
AMAZING FOOD! The jerk chicken, calypso shrimp, and mac and cheese are all to die for. Everything tasted homemade. Great service as well.
Too crowded no room to pump gas.
Best store to get island food. Taros Turkey tail pork chops green banana by the case. Island music and accessories. Kumar is the best!
This place is great. I drive from Stockton to buy stuff all the time.
Love this place now that we are going to live near by
Really nice person..also the gentleman who helped me in the store
Very friendly staff. Strong Kava here at prices half that of internet stores.
Best place to buy Pasteles.
My Familys been going here my whole life & hes always been a reasonable man very Respectful & BIG Hearted God Bless his business as well as Family
The legends are true. This may be the only local source for that unusual version of a tamale, the Puerto Rican Pastel. Pasteles are made with a dough from green banana, green plantain, and taro root. They are as difficult to make as tamales. You can get a dozen for about 36 bucks here and they are 9/10 (Grandmas will always be 10 outta 10 but these were close!). This place is hardly bigger than a broom closet, but dont be fooled. Its a diamond in the rough.
Good!
The prices are ridiculous for almost everything here. Its a rip off! I guess some islanders must really want the stuff this place sells in order to shell out big bucks for that crap. Most CDs and whatever are on DVDS are copies and they cost an arm and leg; ridiculous! The frozen foods must have been there for ages and the cost per pound is a blatant rip-off. Try finding these frozen foods elsewhere. They are fresh and cheaper than any of the cost per pound offered here. Some of those stuffs on those dirty shelves have clearly been there for ages. The store is a mess, dirty and unsanitary. Stay away islanders!
Great place to get fresh fijian kalo and more..
This is a great place to buy tuna..Good guy and prices are very reasonable
