Geek Squad customer service is the worst, most notably the manager. Wouldnt release a device to an employee after making the appointment in their name. Wouldnt work with me and claimed they were protecting our data on a laptop that they wiped clean. Take your service needs elsewhere. These guys do the bare minimum.
Went the Best Buy to purchase a new 📱 phone and found the experience great. The staff were very helpful and the whole transaction went very smooth. Highly recommend Best Buy over current carrier whom went to first and after more than an hour left in frustration without a phone.

Sean from Shipping/warehouse and John/sales associate both are incredibly helpful individuals. Its obvious that they are there for the customers. These guys spent a good bit helping me find a printer. Really, a simple thing but they both worked together to locate the only unit on the floor. Guys, thank you for such honest assistance! Both of you should be managers. Sean may actually be one. Dude was stealth! John is super polite... Great guys! Great Experience!
I went to a best buy out of my way to get an open box laptop. Got home found out it wasn’t the right laptop (like someone swapped out the slightly worse model). I went to the best buy nearest me to return it and they checked it out and verified the specs were worse than what I’d prepurchased online. They then told me I need to take it back to the same store I bought it at to return it.I find this terrible customer service. I’m also pretty sure it’s false. I can’t find anywhere on the sites return policies that you have to return open box items to other stores. I also called customer service and they verified I can return to any store. I could understand more if I just wanted to return but they literally packaged the wrong laptop I bet they didn’t check the the return.Don’t think I’ll be using Best Buy for anything from now on.

I was looking for a gaming PC. There were 2 guys on the Computer section that helped and Im 100% happy. All questions answered.
There is a nasty old lady working there who has no place being near other humans. Rosaura the cashier should be kept in the back cleaning toilets. This miserable old lady was yelling at a child in the store. Problem was it wasnt her child. I think everyone needs to know what a pile of dog shi@ this lady is. Couldnt find a store manager present at the store to point out the problem. Best buy needs to get a better grip on its employees.
When ever their is a issue, look for Zachary young guy with purple hair looking like trunks when in store pick up fails and the whole world is in danger you can count on Zachary the Legendary Super Sayan to literally go Ultra Instinct and defeat the evil best buy system that wants to destroy All in store pick up and throw the world in the dark ages of physically making All purchases in person and removing the one luxury in life worth living, buying online and picking up in store. Thank you Zac for defeating the Evil best buy system and allowing us to go home with our Galaxy book pro 360 that we bought online and returned the next day because samsung makes really flimsy laptops, galaxy book pro 360 is way too slim, it feels cheap, and you click the mouse pad from under the laptop not to mention how the screen is so flimsy and flexible it doesnt feel sturdy enough for the price they are asking, Im pretty sure if you accidentally sat on the galaxy book pro 360 it will surely be broken and good luck getting a replacement and you know best buy only has a 14 day return policy hmmm... didnt seem that great after I got it but never fear HP Spectre x360 is here! And boy dose she look pretty. Beautiful diamond cut edges, 2 thunderbolt 4 ports with 16gb of ram and a Intel i7 stacking it up with a Wapping 2tb nvme m.2 built with sterdiness the screen feels strong like the borders were made out of steel, this laptop feels like it can weather a good 10 years of use, so in the end. Zachary get 5 star for going super Sayan Ultra Instinct for my in store pick up, 2 star for Samsung Galaxy book pro 360, 1 star for best buys in store pick up and 5 stars for the HP Spectre x360!
They have everything! There is a little bit of a wait. Im sure that is due to the covid policy and hiring situations. Overall the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Tons of show room space for browsing all the cool electronics. All the vendors you can think of. Much larger than the Encinitas location, and maybe that lends to its one issue. Its nice to shop solo; however; the staff could try and do better about asking if their guests need help finding anything or had questions about a product.
I bought a computer but decided the next day to return it. The whole transaction was easy and fast without a single problem. They are usually my 1st go to store for electronics.

The fact that best buy still exists while frys went out of business is purely due to human stupidity, best buy staff does not know anything and are entirely unable to solve problems or even delivery a package to the proper address. If you are able to go anywhere else to buy your product, do so
Phone number goes to a worthless national runaround number where you will be hung up on by the system, on hold forever, talk to absolutely clueless people with no information whatsoever. I have an appointment in the store and have critical questions about the appointment. The answer I got was Im sorry but there isnt anything we can do. I was hung up on 3 times before even getting this useless answer. It took 90 minutes to get nowhere. Will never shop best buy as long as this is the policy.

Worst customer service Ive ever experienced. I worked in the in retail for 5+ years I would have never. The worker look uninterested in helping you. Even worse is the business model. Like I paid for a 2 year warranty and altogether the price for a phone I got was like 550 and instead of taking care of me they just sent me a gift card because the phone we wanted was back ordered no call nothing. I will never buy another phone or anything in that case especially at this location in particular. I paid 100 dollar service fee to get a gift card. Like they could have just gave me the gift card in the first place and not charged me the 100 dollar fee. Ridiculous

Its one of the nicer Best Buys Ive been to. They have ample parking and the employees are helpful. They dont have a ton of inventory but theyll order you anything. It feels more like a show room than a retail establishment.
Went to buy a new dryer. Turns out they are more of a show room than a warehouse. Have to wait for a delivery. On a positive note they will deliver and install and take away old dryer for a reasonable fee.

This location is easy to see from the 78 freeway. Plenty of parking, nicely tucked in the rear of the shopping center. This is one of my more favorite BestBuys in San Diego. The staff alone, makes this experience pleasant. The gentlemen at the Phone center. Helped us with a very technical question. We needed to feel the size of the new Galaxy Fold. And he made it possible. Thanks Best Buy for hiring qualified and friendly staff.

Big place with lots of inventory. Lots of bored and unhelpful staff. Very difficult to get help. Left without anyone asking if they could help. Was there 20 minutes.

I havent been to Best Buy in a while, and its far better than I remembered. The store is well organized, well staffed with knowledgable and friendly employees, and (importantly for me) tons of products are out on display to look at and try our before buying. I was shopping for a car radio, and their selection and display setup were quite impressive.
Store refused to honor apples airpod pro replacement program. Though listed on both apples and best buys site as a service provided there, they declined. They did kindly off to mail by buds out for $75. Its really a shame, best buy is making some meaninful steps to be more competitive in their market, but customer service is still lacking. They wanted to charge me $75 for a free service. I really want to support the local store, but its just so hard to with practices like this.
So helpful today! I needed a replacement laptop for one that died suddenly. The gentleman who helped me really knew his stuff, listened well and didnt try to sell me more than I needed. Social distancing, sanitizing, etc. made me feel quite safe.

All the staff was helpful and friendly. Loved that they were counting/limiting how many came into the store. Sorry for them with reducing business, but I felt safer as a customer. I will remember that post-covid and support them at every opportunity. Having said all that, the store wasnt crowded and my shopping experience was easy.
Shout out to Geeks Eric and Brendan over at the Squad. These two were super helpful and knowledgeable! The swap was quoted at being finished within ~2 days but these guys got it done in 1 day! Ive had great experiences with Best Buy up until recently and so I am no longer able to recommend this store.In one case my credit card is due to expire end of this month but I had not yet received the new one. The people who run this company decided it was prudent to remove the ability to enter a credit card expiration date of the same month the order is placed. i.e. my card expires end of September but I was unable to put in an expiration date of 9/2021.I reached out to the online chat and they were totally useless.And most recently, I placed an order for curbside pickup - yes, using a (different) credit card. When you check-in with curbside pickup, they give you a 4 digit number to present to the BestBuy employee for authorization purposes. I did that but she insisted on seeing my drivers license. This is a defacto requirement to present ID in order to use the MasterCard, which is a violation of the Master Card rules for credit card acceptance. the rule is in place for privacy reasons. They are perfectly within their rights to ask to see the card, but not identification.For these reasons, I give them one star until they get their act together. No wonder Amazon is giving them a serious run right now. same day delivery too.
Best buy over the years has really done a great job at having friendly and helpful staff and making sure there shelves are stocked. I would definitely recommend going to this best buy for any of your tech needs.

In the past the customer service was so bad only desperation could drive me through their doors. This visit however was outstanding! From the greeter to the checkout I was treated courteously and helped by a very knowledgeable man who offered me a less expensive solution when they did not have the solution I came in for. Thanks to the entire team for providing me with a great experience!

I tried to purchase an ACER Nitro 5 laptop computer for my son on sale. Best Buy guarantees in writing to price match their competitors including major online vendors like Amazon. However, Best Buys store rep absolutely REFUSED to honor Amazons $729.00 price claiming that they do not match 3rd party sellers on Amazon. I explained in this case that ACER is the manufacturer, distributor, and seller of the computer my son wanted on Amazon and its the exact same model number Best Buy is selling. Logically, Best Buy purchases their computers from ACER too; so they are simply honoring the ACER sales price. Shockingly, Best Buy still refused to price match so my son could get his computer the same day. The difference was only $20.99. Is Best Buy suggesting that ACER wholesales computers to Best Buy for more than they supply them to Amazon for? Even if this is the case, Best Buy guarantees in writing to price match Amazon online and ACER online. They have no defense and I am extremely disappointed in Best Buy violating their written store policy and corporate written online policy. Why offer a price match if you intend to renege on it?

I looked at washers-dryers for 10 to 15 minutes and no one offered or spoke to me. You were not busy! I was Ready to buy a front loader and dryer to match with pedistals(didnt see any), my washer is on its way out. Going to Home Depot or Lowes to purchase who gives me the best deal and actually offers to wait on me 🙂. Thanks foe asking

Everything looked clean and organized. Staff all have their masks on.there was someone watching and counting as people came into the store, and counting people leaving the store also. There were distancing markers on the floor at the pick up area. Best Buy has a curbside pickup, too.

Pofessional, helpful and friendly. I made a GeekSquad appointment for warranty repair of a Nintendo Switch having intermittent charging issue. Found out the warranty was several months expired. The tech helped anyway and cleaned out the connectors.
They never answer the phone. Might as well save money and go to target.
