People are so nice. The lavender tea latte is so good! Hot or cold. They move the people through the lines quickly.

Lovely little coffee shop on San Marcos Blvd. My girlfriend is the one who showed me this place. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Some of the best tasting coffee ever. I had their equivalent to the Caramel Macchiato Version

I got the Horchata iced latte 😍They messed up the size of my order, so they upgraded me for free😊, but the thing that really got me was that the espresso taste was sour 😣 I dont know what region of the world they get their beans from but I would suggest changing it. The vanilla powder they use in their drinks is really tasty though so it helped balance out the taste of my drink. Ill try em again sometime with a different order but if the espresso tastes the same I might not come back 😅

Luv the coconut buzz...1/2 sweet, add shot of espresso. Lots of calories though...so watch your intake for the day because of thhe coconut cream.

The scones are pretty good: almost crispy on the outside. I really wanted to love the beverages, but nothing blew me away. I like how much you can regulate your drink (sweetness level, heat, decaf, dairy alternative, foam level, etc). But the baseline flavor of the drinks I tried were just ok. Also, the line for the drive thru is very long on some days. And once, they completely missed my online order and I ended up being 15 minutes late to work. I would go back if a friend wanted to try it and it wasnt busy.

First timers here. We recently moved to San Marcos and were looking for a new coffee shop other than Starbucks. I had a Hazelnut Divinity. Oh man, it was soooo good. I think we found our new coffee spot.

ATTN MANAGEMENT:We love Better Buzz!! Online ordering is amazing IF IT WORKS…especially at your busy times and with larger orders. Unfortunately, at 2 locations, your online system has failed us. Apparently once we place the order, the store has to “accept” the order, but when they are busy no one does this until we arrive and ask about our order. RESULT: We arrived 45 mins after online order was placed AND had to wait another 30 minutes in store for only 2 drinks because they were busy when we arrived, a real problem when we are in a hurry which is why we ordered online.According to your staff they have reported this problem to management on an ongoing weekly basis, yet nothing is resolved???Bottom line- we love your coffee and brand but we can’t afford to wait in long lines. Unless this online order is fixed your going to lose a lot of business…

Service was great. Coffee not so much. Extra tip, dont ask for or use the paper straws. It made my iced coffee taste ultra sour like spoiled milk, which is weird because theres no milk in basic sweetened iced coffee. It tasted way better without the straw.

BUSY on the weekends, but they moved through orders quickly and efficiently. Taking the order ahead with employees and tablets in the carpark meant not waiting too long and the line kept moving.Coffee up to the normal Better Buzz standard.

Got the smores mocha a little bitter added more milk but other than that it was good

You CANT beat the staff and coffee at the San Marcos location. I drive from oceanside and it is SO worth it. Julian is one of our favorites but really we love everyone here. They have become family. The coffee is perfect every single time too! LOVE THIS PLACE! Best coffee and customer service hands down!

For the first time drinking coffee here it is much different than your other cafés the location is convenient and the service is fast and friendly I would recommend the hazelnut divine iced.

First time here and a great experience! I didnt know what to order and I love coconut but didnt want a cold drink so had them make a latte with coconut powder and it was better than anything that Starbucks had tried to create for me. The ladies working inside were so kind and patient with my trying to decide what to order but they helped me figure it out. Just ask them or let them know what you like and theyll get it for you or close to it Im sure 😊Love this place and Ill be back!

I used to be a regular customer until they started charging me different prices every single day when I get the same sized coffee. Employees need better training and need to learn their own menu. Wont be buying coffee from here ever again.

I have been to other Better Buzz Coffee locations, but this one was the least pleasing. The one in Mission Beach was much better, at this location the coffee was very bitter.

There is almost always a line. The employees are always friendly. The beverages are always top notch. Where else will you find a horchata latte?

Pleasantly surprised. Great fix if youre missing your favorite coffee from home that you grind yourself. Very fast service, and the coffee bean is quality. I will definitely be back if Im not close to home.....

Wow! Super fast, friendly service. I ordered a dirty chai with oat milk, and the service was so on point that the server asked if I had a dairy allergy since I ordered oat milk (she stated they have dry dairy powder in the chai). It was creamy, cinnamony, and I agree with other reviewers--super sweet, so Id agree that half sweet is the way to go. They also offer a 5% military discount!

Every time I go to Better Buzz, I have a pleasant experience. They regularly handle their long drive-thru line very well by having a worker come out to take orders. I personally love getting the iced vanilla latte from them, and the service is overall wonderful. For pride month, they even had pride pastries that you could order which was just a nice thing they added to their menu.

First time visiting San Marcos area and found this gem! Their mint infused coffee is soooo good, love it. You can order drive thru or just walkup. Its pretty crowded but wait time was still very reasonable, will definitely visit again :)

The coffee is good, but mobile ordering at this location is practically pointless. The employees just ignore your mobile order and focus on the drive thru. You end up waiting longer than if you had just jumped in the drive thru in the first place. The Escondido location is way better for when youre in a hurry.

Coffee is good and consistent :) They are constantly busy but they do a pretty good job of handling it. Takes about 5-10 min to get a cup of coffee. Would be five stars If they would expand to support the demand and get the wait time under five minutes.

They offer various types of drinks from hot to cold. I went with their vanilla iced coffee which was superb. Also got me some cookies to go with. Cant go wrong with a quick breakfast before heading out.

Better Buzz is better than Starbucks. My favorite drink is the coconut buzz. My mother LOVES the hazelnut divinity, and she is picky. You can get it half sweet if you are sweet enough. I also tried three acai bowl with almond butter and coconut, it was the greatest thing ever!

Love the coffee and the people. Always friendly and great drinks. If they get something wrong they will fix it no questions asked. The only drawback is the line can get verrrrry long.

This location has the most friendly customer service oriented employees that I have ever experienced in a drive-through coffee place! It was close to closing time which is typically where most people can’t wait to leave and go home. however these girls were delighted to serve me. Have been disappointed the last three times I purchased my favorite coffee which is the coconut buzz. I just bought one last night and it was the worst! Did not taste like coconut at all. So sad, should have gone back after the other two fails at the same store, this was about 6:45 pm last night. Wont go to this location again.

There were two cars with complex orders that took a long time. Would have been nice if they would have been asked to park so I could get my large black coffee.

I usually love this place as they have great coffee products, but today they got our order wrong and the person at the resister spent most of the time talking with people inside rather than try to help us fix the order. Hopefully next time it will be back to standard quality.

Used to love this place. Not sure if they got new employees or not making the açaí bowls but now they’re lazy when making them now. Barely any almond butter. You might as well just ask them to give you the fruit so you can cut it yourself opposed to them throwing it into the bowl. Other locations are solid but this one has gone down in quality.

The Best Drink Ever is literally the best coffee drink ever. I enjoy introducing people to this drink and watching them take their first sip ever. I can see their life changing before my eyes 😂. Its sweet, creamy and strong.Customer service is always great! I will say it gets very, very busy in the morning, so its best to get out of your car and order at the window.

The line is always absurdly long, but theres a reason. Service is fast, drinks are well blended and taste great. Beware of habit-forming ingredients lest you too become ensnared. One star removed due to the HERESY of discontinuing their Mint Mocha buzz. While I still weep for the loss of whatever cocaine derivative they infused that drink with, Im certain Ill eventually move on.

Great Iced Americanos. Friendly service, fair prices, convenient drive-through. The only thing that I didnt like is that its really easy for the drive-through to get filled up. I ended up just parking and getting out to order at the side window.

Diappointed My first time to try there coffee.Now I have to get my seat cleaned. Will not go back. Rooky servers. Look out. If its dripping when they hand it to you have them pour some out. Coffee not that good anyways especially on your shirt pants and seat. Good luck!

I was in the parking lot trying to get to an appointment on time but Better buzz customers blocked more than half of the parking spots. Not a great location for anyone trying to get to one of the other buildings. Not only is the parking blocked, you cant get out either when trying to leave.

Great coffee. Awesome pastries. Fantastic staff. Location sucks. This establishment uses premium coffee and food. The staff has always been helpful. I love their coffee and will come back. The only downside is the location. The drive thru is always wrapped around the parking lot which can get pretty crowded at times. Recently, Ive just been getting out of my car and going up to the walk window to order.

I used to love this location. They stopped serving Acai bowls with strawberries and bananas and now only put mangos on top. First they said it was seasonal, then they said lack of space? Also, they stopped serving soy milk! What the heck? Please bring back the original bowls and soy milk. Thank you!!

Very friendly staff and great coffee. My favorites are the americano or the Killer Bee. Their Best Drink Ever is also really good if youre in the mood for a sweeter option. You can order through the drive through or walk up to the counter outside with some tables and seating options as well. Can be pretty crowded in the mornings but they usually get your order our very quickly.

Strong coffee and fast service. Theres nothing better than a morning jolt from a strong caramel macchiato with an espresso add shot! They offer a wide variety of drinks and foods. Wonderful service and a nice stop on your way to work.

Theres a drive-thru and a walk-up window for this small establishment. The menu is not that large, but has mostly coffee drinks and a few food items. The staff is pretty nice and will answer any questions.I only got a white mocha ice blended at their suggestion. Overall, it was good, it was blended well and wasnt too sweet, and had a coffee flavor. I would like to try to the regular coffee sometime since it seems popular.
