I wasnt very impressed. The building was nice and seem fairly clean but the staff was less than helpful. The blueberry muffin that I ordered was stale. The avocado toast was super mediocre and they stacked it in a way that put the avocado on both sides of one piece so it was impossible to hold without getting my hands messy. The avocado was a weird mixed blend like you find with cheap guacamole. To top it off the coffee wasnt very good and they forgot to give us our water. I probably will not be going back to one of these.

Glitchy wifi indoors. Service took awhile. A regular got theirs quickly. Location is good. Patio is nice.

Very relaxing atmosphere and tasty vanilla coldbrew on tap. They sell whole and ground beans + hot coca mixes to take home. Extra popular in mornings 🌄.

This atmosphere and ambiance of this place is awesome, however the coffee not so much. It all tasted watered down and lacked any real flavor. I ordered a blended peanut butter frap. It tasted like blended watered down hot chocolate if it was cold. No coffee or peanut butter flavor. My wife ordered an iced coffee and it was the same. Very watered down and lacked any real flavor. I was hopeful ad we like to try new places but unfortunately we wont be back.

The cold brew French vanilla is really good and smooth, may be to sweet for true coffee drinkers.The staff is super friendly and awesome. Not a lot of seating but its not in a busy area right now so thats fine.

After lunch at Spaghetti Factory, we enjoyed lattes in the cute patio. I love their earl grey latte and took home loose leaf green tea.

My preference is to patronize nearby coffee shops during the weekday. Since Perks is now closed, Ryan Brothers coffee was the next closest other than Starbucks. This place needs to step up their game...start with training their baristas! They seem confused when basic orders are being placed. The coffee is the worst Ive had since relocating to the area from the east coast. Particularly, the lattes are watered down with cold milk added. Ill continue going to old faithful Starbucks during the week and Leap coffee in Carlsbad on the weekends - I wish Leap coffee was at this location...The one bright spot at Ryan Brothers is their outdoor seating..that earns 1 star.

Great food, coffee, relaxing atmosphere. Been here several times and was always greeted with a smile. Had a down to earth conversation with the batista while my coffee was being made (Mexican Mocha). Went a few days later and got the Snickerdoodle latte (awesome!), Carmel Drop latte iced, and a breakfast sandwich (the Beast). Sandwich was full of flavor with the tiniest bit of kick due to the Pepper Jack Cheese.

Oh my, gosh, went there today, 12/8/2020, and poor barista there didnt have a espresso machine to work with and the coffee was nothing but horrible! Nasty. We had cafe lattes and switched them for reg coffee with steamed milk, still horrible. My sis asked for her money back. Why become a new owner of a coffee place and not have an espresso machine? Makes no sense.

I had to amend my previous review to give this place 5 stars based on the recent staff changes and my experience today. Baristas Julie and Ashley were wonderfully friendly, helpful and delightful to me and were willing to experiment with flavors to give me exactly what I wanted even when they didnt have the menu item for it. Wow, what a rad little coffee shop. I was so impressed with the wide variety of cold brews on tap! The baristas were delightful and made some excellent cold brew recommendations. We were visiting from the OC, but we will certainly be coming back next time we’re in town. Cheers!

My favorite coffee place hands down. They have a great selection of cold brews and their drop coffee is amazing. They roast all their own beans in their main location in Barrio Logan. The staff is really great and friendly. My go to in the morning is a classic breakfast sandwich and a vanilla cold brew, sometimes a chocolate chip cookie for later(they bake them there everyday!)

The employees there are extremely nice and were very helpful in helping me choose a drink. I decided to go with the vanilla bean cold brew and it was amazing!!! There cold brews are some of the best cold brew I have ever had and I would highly recommend going to Ryan Bros.

Tastes better than the coffee i i had at home. They were out of dark roast drip, but were in the process of making it. The staff is extremely friendly.

I love this place! I wish they had more branches. Every time I go to San Marcos I come to this shop for some cold brew. LA would be a perfect next location for Ryan Brothers Coffee! I think they would make a killing and become widely popular. Employees at this branch are the best. Very friendly and always happy to explain flavors and stuff. I ask for a sample and they dont hesitate. Nareg, I think the big guy with the beard. He is very nice and helpful. I trust his recommendations on what to eat or drink here. My go to coffee spot in San Marcos for sure!

Great coffee! The Mexican Mocha is my favorite and their cold brew is absolutely wonderful. I love that its located so close to all the schools and I sometimes pick up a shake for my kiddo before getting her from school.

If you ask them for recommendations and dietary restrictions, theyre pretty knowledgeable as well. Their selection of coffee and tea is pretty good and quite diverse, and I have yet to have a drink that I didnt like.One of my favorite things about this place is that the music is not usually too overpowering but its not just some background noise, either.

One of our favorite coffee stops. Usually pretty quiet environment. Staff here are friendly and provide some of the best service. Any problems, and theyll make it right. Options are great and if you have little ones there is a grass area just out front for them to run in.

This is a nice coffee shop, with not a large menu, some food items, and bagged coffee/tea for sale. Its a very open coffee bar, the staff is nice, and prepared things quickly.I ordered the java chip frappe, which contains iced coffee and chocolate chips. Overall, it was alright, just a little low on flavor, but well blended.

Coffee is good, espresso is good (better than Starbucks but not as good as Cafe Bravo)... Never had the food but people seem to like it... To raise their price by 50% is unexpected. There are many other small, local coffee shops with good (better?) Coffee.

Unfortunately the decaf cappuccino I ordered had little to no taste of espresso. My husband’s coffee was mediocre as well. I wanted to like Ryan Bro’s, but I was disappointed.

I use to go there all the time and my drink would be so amazing. But now just starting a few months ago when I go my drink isnt all that good. Actually its not good at all unless this one guy makes it. Its disappointing because I kept going giving them chances like maybe its a one time mess up but no. Now its rude looks and nasty drinks. Sorry Im lactose intolerant but dont look at me that way after i tip you guys every time. I am completely done with this location. Hope you guys do well but one lose of a customer doesnt hurt right. Yall give me dirty looks anyways so now you wont have to see my face.

Sadly, I dont see the hype. I saw the great reviews and was hoping for another great shop to add to our list during our trip to CA. It has a kind of old school 90s coffee shop vibe - nothing updated at all. The cold brew was just ok. Nothing to write home about. And its definitely not nitro cold brew. Im not sure why they call it that... nothing nitrogen infused about it at all. Its just mediocre cold brew coming from a tap.While I did not get an espresso-based drink, I was very disappointed to see they have abandoned standard espresso. So be warned, they dont actually serve any espresso here, despite what the menu says.Unfortunately I just cant recommend a stop here. It has none of the things I look for in a coffee shop. Based off of pictures it looks like it may have been better in the past, but as it stands, its a big meh from me.

I have had nothing but bad experiences here. The first time I waited 30 minutes for a cup of black coffee when there was only one other customer. Since this is the only coffee place on the way to my destination, I stopped by again thinking that hiccup was only one of those days but it wasnt. The ladies seem like theyre spacing out & I never thought a barista could burn an ice tea or a cappuccino to bitterness until here. I wish there was some other local coffee shop in the area who cares about how theyre putting out and the people theyre putting out to.
