Super good service and got my glasses in under 2 weeks. Very attentive staff and overall good vibes in the store, will definitely come again. It’s also super convenient that the eye doctor is right next door.

We went in today to select and purchase glasses. Germaine checked us in very respectfully, and explained how we could shop according to their COVID restrictions. Lisa assisted us as we went through the frames I picked out & what would work for my prescription. She explained very clearly all the add ons, etc, and was very personable. Both members today cheerfully & helpfully assisted everyone who came in while we were there. I truly appreciate such great service, as it is getting harder to find these days. Walked into the door Lady named BJ asked for us to put on a mask Givernor has opened up for no mask as of 21s) I said we dont have one she said I had to leave,on the door it states in writing if you need a mask we will provide one for you, she said they dont have none I said I need my glasses at which she stated she was off duty asked my named went and grabbed them and pushed then into my hands and said to leave, I was not able to have them adjusted or even get the marker spots off the lenses, very very very ugly attitude from her Ive used this place several times in past3 years will never go back or recommend them, this BJ needs to be spoken to for her rude behavior, why post you will provide a mask and get ugly about it?

After a bad experience with another place and calling a million others to find glasses for my 2 year old Im so glad we ended up here! Today I had a very pleasant experience at Vision Works. Evelyn Reyes the General Manager had a very big smile when I walked into Visionworks. She and Megan Martinez the Retail Supervisor very politely greeted me. Megan Martinez went the extra mile in explaining how to clean my glasses better because they smudge too much and did an awesome job straightening my glasses and diva sunglasses. I highly recommend anyone to go to Visionworks. They have the very best, nicest, friendliest, and most patient service.

We have had a very positive experience every time we’ve used this location. The GM, Evelyn, has always taken such good care of us and she along with everyone else in the store have so much patience with my 2-year old daughter that requires glasses. We have referred many friends to them and will continue to come back for any needs we may have.

Really great customer service! I was having a hard time making up my mind but they answered every question I had and never tried to rush me. I left happy and with the perfect pair of glasses!

Was going to stop in but I can see through the glass front that masks are not being worn. We are in the middle of a pandemic!!! Waited a few days to call the manager to express my concern but they are never in. Would not be surprised if the manager was one not wearing their mask. Go to the eyeglass place down the street if you value your health.

I went to another visionworks and they had to remake my glasses three times and still couldnt get it right. I ended up coming to the San Marcos location and Chelsea was able to get my order correct and have my glasses within 7 days. Highly recommend the San Marcos location and the friendly and helpful staff.!

They adjusted the demo glasses then took my eye measurements. Thats the way it should be done when you buy a pair of glasses.Excellent service. I highly recommend.

I can only write this review from the perspective of someone who remembers kindness and respect from a place they do business with. While this is an illusive trend in the modern world, I have to tell you it is still around and I found it at vision works. They took care of my family of four and the kids were actually happy to get their glasses. As for me I waited forty years for my first pair of glasses and I have to say they got me looking pretty good. If your wondering if you should go here let me help you, yes. Thank you for your time.

Evelyn helped me out tremendously. I had a pair of glasses that were originally staged as sunglasses, but I initially wanted them with regular lenses. When I tried them on when they were ready, they were just too big on my face! She happily swapped the lenses for me to make them sunglasses— no trouble! I will definitely come back here! Friendly and professional staff here at Vision Works! I was impressed by Megan’s customer service and her knowledge. I was not aware there were so many lens choices for my prescription, this is the first time I had it explained to me in depth. However, it turns out I am not able to get new glasses with my insurance until february, so she wrote me up a quote and before I left adjusted my glasses at no charge even though they were not from this store. 5 star customer service here!

Great experience, got a lot of help and very patient staff. Mark helped me to get lenses for a pair of frames that I already had. And they take my vision insurance and hundreds of others! Definitely going to return here for any glasses and contacts I need in the future!

I went into this store and was repeatedly pressured into buying glasses by the general manager. I felt like I was being attended by a used car lot salesman. I went to Walmart and they were way more helpful.

I have quite a challenging prescription. Mark and Brandy went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. I also highly recommend Dr. Vigil.

My wife and I were customers of Eye masters for years. We would go and get a couple of pairs of eyeglasses and would spend about $300. Changed to Visionworks, the prices have gone up and service has gone down. Now they want to charge over double what Eye masters used to charge for the same two pair. The manager was frustrated by my apprehension and harassed me asking for payment while we sat dumbfounded by the cost. Poor management and business practices.

Have come in for a second time and treated with a poor attitude from Evlyn. the so called manager told me that she can charge me what ever she wants because everyone’s different, after I have been Buying contacts with Vision Work for years she wants to charge me 25$ more a set ... do ur self a favor go some where else this place is a joke contacting corporate...

Was going to be a five star when I got my glasses today. The customer service was great when I went in to choose my frames. They told me it would take around 10 days. So on the 10th day (today) I called and they said my order had been dropped... (still dont 100% understand why) the lady Chelsea helped me out and she was nice and tried to help but still... how I have to wait another 10 days when I was trying to get these frames In before christmas as my current lenses have scratches and glue residue.(dogs and my job) now Ill be lucky if they make it on christmas eve which is when i leave for dallas... very.. disappointed as this was the christmas gift I was looking forward to. And so that is why Im leaving a 3 star and not a five.

DONT ignore the bad reviews! I paid over 500$ for my two pair of glasses, and not worth a dime.. The normal glasses where supposed to be anti glare, but it didnt work at all. Driving at night was terrible! The sunglasses where curved and they tried to cut in the lenses twice but still failed. Ended up getting a refund on the whole deal! I did get good customer service and it was easy to get a refund!

I had recently been going to Central Texas Eye Center and had the worst customer service there so recently switched to Vision works and have had nothing but great experiences since. My orders always come in early and the customer service is fantastic along with reasonable prices and great deals.

Theyre clueless here. They messed up my glasses order not once, but twice. It took 3 weeks to get my glasses.The information they tell me is never correct. Whenever I come in, they tell me something different. Its been a 2 month process trying to get the right glasses and contacts from them. Im still waiting on the contacts.Do yourself a favor and stay far away!

I had good luck here in the past but I paid over $800 for two pairs of eyeglasses recently that are just awful. They steam up constantly and I am perennially wiping them. I did take them back within the allowed time, but the guy convinced me to try them a while longer and I just kept them. But the problem never went away no matter what I do and they are the worst eyeglasses I have ever had.My advice -- be sure to check your eyeglasses if you purchase them here for fogging.

My son purchased glassed at the beginning of the pandemic. After multiple months and broken promises, the promised glasses were never received! Avoid this office.

I recently came to this store because i needed some new glasses, but i didnt know anything about owning glasses because id never bought any. Thankfully, the staff here was so nice and accommodating. The manager, (whos name was mary or megan, i forgot) was really knowledgable and helped me find the right pair. Definitely coming back to buy some shades, they have some great deals.

Terrible terrible service. Its been three weeks and I still havent gotten my order. Every time I call and ask about the status of my order, they say someone will get back to me, but no one is getting back to me to tell me what is going on. And worst of all: Ive already paid them in full.
