1800 University Drive LocationWhile on vacation at the beach I got smacked by a wave and lost my glasses. Couldnt drive back home without them (the big E is blurry). With it being Labor Day, no appointment and closing time quickly approaching, the two working in the office were nice enough to stay late and help me out. They were very friendly and helpful. Thanks to them I was able to get my family home safe. Thanks again!

Omar had my glasses ready from START to FINISH in just under 48 hours! Normally 7 to 10 days is the standard, but Omar was very understanding and kind and understood how urgently I needed them and put a rush on it for me. He listened to me, met my needs, and didnt try to sell me unnecessary merchandise. I told him I definitely plan to return here, preferably to deal directly with him when possible, because while I cant speak for the other opticians there, I at least know Omar will be cool with me. ¡Gracias, mi compadre Don Omar! Have been going there for many years. Today was the last time Im going there went to pick up contacts and the lady there was really rude. It was 2:24 and she had to go to lunch at 230 and pushed me and told me she had to leave never in my life am I going there or refer people there could of just say she was taking her lunch and I would of understand but she instead pushed me and didnt even want to tell me her name

I bought eyeglasses frames and left. As I was walking I forgot to check if there was any markings. Turned out there was, and went back. The lady didnt want to attend me. A guy there said we dont sell glasses on the shelf, we order them and give you a call when they are here. Lady tried to sell me out. Last time I come here.

I set up an appointment got a pair of glasses that dr. james said where special for my eyes. I go to a different location and they look at me crazy when i ask if they would be as pricey as the first pair, why, beacuse they said there was nothing special about them, there was 2 ladies and i felt dumb, lucky they were not scam artists and i got 2 pairs for less than an appointment and one pair at the san marcos location. Also when i went back to get them tightened at location 1( beacuse the sides were a bit loose) some bigger white lady acted as if i had demanded her to kiss my feet and RUDLEY said well isnt that the pair you picked out mind you they DID NOT TAKE ANY MEASUREMENTS OF MY FACE LIKE LOCATION 2 DID, her co-worker knew what i was talking about and helped right away. After years of only shopping at LensCrafters for my prescription glasses (and overpaying each time) I decided to give the Walmart Vision center a try.They have a big selection of frames and some that are very budget friendly! I had to get progressive lenses for the first time, and I found a pair of frames that were under $50 which is a good thing because the progressive lenses costed $120 each! I also picked out a pair of sunglasses, I wasnt too happy with the selection of sunglasses they had, so I picked a pair of aviators really quick and asked for them to put some prescription lenses in them.I went in on an picked out my frames Friday and my sunglasses were ready the following Tuesday and my regular glasses were ready on Thursday so I went to get them both on Thursday. I was very happy with my purchase at first, but after wearing my sunglasses for the 15 minute drive home I noticed they were uncomfortable, nothing to do with the adjustment on them, they were just really heavy and the few minutes I tried them on in the store didnt give me a good opinion on them. I took them back the next day and I was met by an older lady who tried everything she could to get me to keep them. I simply told her that they werent going to work and that adjusting them would help and asked if I could exchange them or get a refund because of what their policy says (they have a 60-day satisfaction guarantee) but she told me she couldnt do anything for me but adjust them. It wasnt until she asked a fellow associate about the policy and he told her it was okay to do a one-time exhange or refund for me that she was able to help me. Her attitude totally changed in those few moments, and I was getting annoyed that she wasnt aware of her own company policy, I mean they hand you a pamphlet that says all about their guarantee when you buy your glasses. I looked around and still didnt see anything I really liked so I opted for the refund, which she gladly gave me this time. Maybe she was new, either way Im taking off one star for he exchange I had to have with her about that policy and how rude she was at the beginning when I said I wanted to return them per their policy. Other then that I was very pleased with the selection and value of the frames and lenses I got! I will continue to get my eyeglass prescription here in the future!

I called yesterday to ask about my glasses and was quickly dropped into the eternal hold hole by a gentleman who was not very polite. Im not impressed!
