Enjoying our Hwy 1 road trip, when we unfortunately ended up with a screw in our tire while going through Santa Cruz. It was almost 5 and we were worried we wouldnt find somewhere that was still open to help us. Luckily we found Independent Tires! They were fantastic, even on the start of a holiday weekend, the owner stayed late to fix our tire. Great people and service, highly recommended. Thank you Independent Tires for saving our trip :).

Friendly hard working. He took 10 bucks off because it took longer then he said but frank did it a lone no others workers to help him but he remained friendly and under the circumstances he was quick.

Frank is really sincere and honest about everything. His prices are difficult to beat especially for the attention to detail he has. It’s not a big fancy shop, but it’s run by people that know what they’re doing and put your car first! He fitted two tires for me, and one of them went flat so he took the tire and did a full check and inspected it for me to make sure I was driving on safe wheels. Thanks again!

These guys are awesome, great courteous service, excellent prices, fast and professional. I like a Auto shop that looks and feels like a Auto shop. Classic restoration cars being worked, little projects being done. Not a sterile corporate clean and perfectly clear, but an old school garage that treats you with old school respect and courtesy.Check them out.

Great place, great service, great price! We needed tires, and we brought our own brakes and rotors to be installed at the same time. They got us in immediately, and we hit a snag...... we had the wrong size rotors! Any other place would have refused to do them. And just sell the tires. The owner here was so nice and had one of his mechanics give us a ride to OReillys to exchange them and got everything done in time so that we werent late picking up our kids from daycare! We will be bringing all our trucks here from now on!

After calling around many places I came across independent tires and they where able to get me All 4 brand new tires for an amazing price also got me in the same day 😊 highly recommend. Very friendly as well.

Really pleased with our experience here. Didnt have the used tires we were looking for but were able to get us new tires for a very fair price. Service was quick, considering the tires had to be brought from another location, & the staff was very friendly & helpful. Will definitely return for any other tire needs.

We stopped here for a emergency repair. Our rotors and brakes were at the end of there life and we needed to cheap used tires for the front. He gave us a really good price on everything. We had to wait a little bit but nothing good happens fast when it comes to auto repair and safety. Id sure like to see this guys business grow!!!!! Thank you again

I cannot fathom the fact of how many ppl including myself do not do enough research to save money. I found this place by calling all the tire shops in town asking for a specific tire and got different quotes all around but the one to stick out was Independent Tires. Frank is the best. Got me what i wanted at a great value.. Whos cares if the rotation is not free.. Its not like were promised tomorrow anyways. Hope this helps, thanks for reading.

This place hooks you up! Get new or slightly used tires for a good deal. Customer service is great too.

Very fair price. Inflated to spec. Torqued to spec. Expertly balanced. Even though I came with my own tires, he stocks solid rubber and I get the impression that you would get a great value compared to other shops for the same price. Waiting area is spartan, but they have free wifi and a tv.

2nd visit. Just as good as the first! Both times I had very quick service. The owner is always there putting in sweat equity. Both times he listened to my situation, presented me with various options (new vs used, 2 tires vs 4 tires) pros and cons of each, and was fine with whatever decision I made. Not a hint of a hard sell or upselling, even if I chose the cheapest option! Service was completed extremely quick ... Always faster than the estimate given. Highly recommend! Although I havent used it, they offer roadside assistance as well.

Make sure you compare prices of tires online before buying, cost his prices are on the high side, I bought 4 Doral tires 225/60R16 for 110 per tire including tax (9%) and fixing services (total of $440), same tires in sears, Walmart and amazon is ranging between $65-$68 with only $87 for fixing service. He is not a sincere person.
